Allergic to Dust, Too

Lumpy sniffled several times as he rubbed his nose repeatedly. It seemed as though no matter what he did, there was nothing that could satisfy his itchy nose. It was a warm spring day outside, and flowers were blooming wherever they grew. But at the same time, they were producing a pretty large amount of pollen - Lumpy's worst allergy. He couldn't sniff a single flower without breaking out into a sneezing fit, and he saw that as a problem. He personally thought that the pollen would make the flowers smell good, even though that wasn't true.

"Aaaaah..." Just thinking about the amount of pollen made Lumpy need to sneeze, and he wasn't even outside at the time. He had decided to stay in his house in an attempt to keep his allergies at bay. But it wasn't much help; he never knew when his nose decided it was a good time to sneeze. His breath hitched as he removed his hand from his nose. "AaaaaaAAAAAHHH..." He tilted his neck back as his nose twitched and his nostrils flared up. "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Lumpy shot his neck forwards as he sneezed. It was a somewhat small sneeze by his standards, but it was pretty loud. He then tilted his neck back as he prepared to sneeze again, his nostrils not having been satisfied yet.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOooooooooooooo! Ugh..."

Recovering from his double-sneeze, Lumpy sniffled and rubbed his nostrils on his forefinger. He wished that there was a way to get rid of his allergies, he was tired of always sneezing from pollen. Suddenly, an idea came to him.

He went into his living room and walked up to the bookshelf. After taking a few seconds to browse it, he pulled out a medical book, which was covered with a layer of dust. Lumpy took a deep breath and blew the dust off, sending it flying around into the air. And just like that, Lumpy could feel his nostrils flaring up again. Another sneeze was on the way.

"Aaaaaaahhhhhhh... AaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH..." Lumpy inhaled as he turned his head away from the book, and then he took a couple of final breaths. "AaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

Lumpy could feel a small amount of mucus firing out of his nostrils with the sneeze. He started to rub his nose on his forefinger, but it occurred to him that his nose hadn't been satisfied enough. He removed his finger from his nostrils as they flared up again, and he entered a sneezing fit.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Immediately after the sneezing fit, Lumpy raised his forefinger back to the end of his snout and rubbed his nostrils, which had reddened and started to run slightly.

"Ugh, am I allergic to dust, too?" Lumpy asked himself as he sniffled. "I think I might be..."

He opened up the book, and looked through it, trying to find a section related to allergies. As he did, a small amount of dust arose from the pages, causing his nostrils to flare up again. He didn't start inhaling until he had reached the page he was looking for, however.

"Ah, here it is." Before Lumpy could read a single paragraph, he needed to sneeze again. "Aaaaaaahhhh..." Lumpy sniffled deeply, but ended up sucking up the dust from the air, causing him to sneeze again. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

"Oh, for God's sake," Lumpy said to himself as he rubbed his nostrils on his hand, but the former continued to flare up.

"Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH..."

Lumpy tilted his neck far back as he lowered the book from his face, and then he shot his neck forwards as he released the sneeze.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

A large amount of mucus and spray escaped from his nose and mouth, respectively. By the time he had finished, his nostrils were running profusely. He rubbed his nostrils with a forefinger as he closed the book and put it back on the bookshelf.

"Yeah, I'm definitely allergic to dust..." Lumpy said to himself.

He proceeded to walk out of the living room and head for the bathroom, continuing to rub his nose every step of the way. Once he had gotten to the bathroom, he took a couple of tissues from the tissue box and blew his nose. Then he removed the tissues from his face and sniffled, but as the rays from the lamps on the ceiling shined in his face, a small amount of dust got sucked in with his sniffle, causing his nostrils to flare up again.

"AaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

Lumpy released yet another large sneeze, and then immediately blew his nose again. This time, he didn't remove the tissues from his nose as he rubbed it with them.

"And I thought my pollen allergies were bad." Lumpy sighed to himself in despair.

Sneezite

Lumpy was visiting Sniffles' lab, where Sniffles was showing him some new substances that he had acquired and inventions that he had created. Lumpy made it seem like he was fascinated in them, but he was actually bored and looking for something to do. Only when he discovered a certain, highly effective substance, however, did his visit finally start to get interesting.

Lumpy looked over at a container of dark grey powder, and instantly became curious. He walked over to it, picked it up and looked at it. What was this stuff? He couldn't remember ever seeing it before, and it certainly didn't look like anything he had already seen. Just as he was about to touch the powder itself, however, Sniffles noticed what Lumpy was doing.

"Lumpy!" Sniffles said in shock, which then turned into disapproval for some reason. "What are you doing?"

Lumpy looked over at Sniffles, and then put down the container.

"I was just looking at this stuff," said Lumpy.

"Do you even know what that is?!" Sniffles asked.

"Um... no," Lumpy responded.

"The substance in that vial is called Sneezite, which is powerful enough to induce sneezing in absolutely any individual," Sniffles said. "Aside from simply causing you to sneeze, it also irritates all possible areas of the nose, including the nostrils, nasal passages and sinuses, and makes them extremely sensitive to other irritants. If you are going to handle it, you must use extreme caution at all times."

"Okay, but why are you so worried?" Lumpy asked.

"Whatever you do, no matter what happens, DO NOT INHALE IT!" Sniffles warned. "If even the smallest amount of that powder makes it into or onto your nose, you are going to sneeze!"

"Yeah, I... I figured that," Lumpy almost looked embarrassed.

"You must not, under any circumstances, let that happen. Do you understand?"

"Don't worry, Sniffles, I'll definitely be careful with this stuff," Lumpy said.

Sniffles calmed down and then walked away from Lumpy. Unbeknownst to the intelligent anteater, Lumpy was actually interested in the Sneezite. He completely understood that he wasn't allowed to sniff it, but he wanted to know just how much it would make him sneeze. And besides, as much as Lumpy disliked sneezing a lot, he actually had a bit of a sneezing fetish as well. Many of his sneezes felt really good to release, and the sweet relief that followed after them was arguably even better.

"Well, he did say that I can look at it, but not sniff it... Does it really work?" he wondered to himself.

He slowly took the container of powder, and then looked around the lab for Sniffles. He was still in here, making some adjustments to one of his inventions. He knew that he would be mad at him for disobeying him, but Lumpy just couldn't help himself.

"Sniffles, I... I'm really sorry, but..." Lumpy started.

"Sorry for what?" Sniffles asked as he looked over at Lumpy.

Lumpy poured a small amount of Sneezite onto his nose, and the effects began within one second. His snout began to twitch and redden, and his nostrils began to flare up as he immediately needed to sneeze. He immediately placed the container back on the table that it had been on.

"Ah... Aaaaaaaah..." Lumpy inhaled twice as he tilted his head back. His snout continued to quiver as his nostrils continued to flare up.

Sniffles knew exactly what was going to happen: Lumpy was going to sneeze. He had warned him not to do that, but he was partially aware that he would do it anyway, due to him being such an imbecile. But now that he had ignored his warning, Sniffles had to brace himself for Lumpy's upcoming sneezing fit. He also hoped it would damage as little of his belongings as possible.

"Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh... AaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH..." Lumpy continued to inhale dramatically as he continued to tilt his neck backward, with his snout twitching and nostrils flaring. He wanted to bring his hands up to cover his mouth, but this sneeze was going to be a big one, and almost demanded that it be uncovered. With little time to waste, Lumpy turned away from any valuable object that Sniffles had in his lab, and then tilted his neck back as far back as possible.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

Lumpy shot his neck forwards as he released the sneeze, which was enough to cause the entire lab to shake. A huge amount of spray came blasting out of his mouth at the same time. He wanted to rub his nose, but his nose still itched tremendously, and he needed to sneeze again. He tilted his neck back, his nostrils expanding to several times their regular size and his nose twitching involuntarily, as he prepared to release another sneeze.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh... AaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

And with that, Lumpy was sent into a sneezing fit.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! AaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! The sneezing fit was nearing its finish, but Lumpy's snout was completely bright red, mucus was oozing out of both of his nostrils, and tears were filling his eyes and streaming down his face. It would be hard not to assume that he was sick or suffering from his allergies. And his nose still hadn't had enough. With his nostrils flaring up again, Lumpy prepared for the final couple of sneezes in the fit. He sniffled once, sending him into the buildup.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..." Lumpy raised a forefinger to his nostrils in an attempt to stop the final sneeze, but he couldn't hold it back in time.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

Lumpy cringed internally as he released the final sneeze in the fit, which was also the biggest and loudest sneeze in the fit. After it was finally over, he brought his forefinger to his red, mucus-covered nostrils and rubbed them repeatedly. He sniffled several times, but he couldn't do anything to stop his nose from running. He wasn't feeling so good at all; the Sneezite that he had inhaled had bitten him quite hard.

"Gesundheit," Sniffles said as he walked up to Lumpy.

"Ugh..." Lumpy sniffled again as he continued to rub his poor nose. He tried to speak, but his runny nose affected his voice. "I'b really sorry, Sdiffles. I just couldd't resist tryidg that stuff..."

"It's all right, Lumpy," Sniffles said. Lumpy thought he was being sarcastic, but he wasn't.

"But you were bad at be before I tried it..."

"That was not genuine anger, Lumpy. I was aware that you would have difficulty resisting it, but Sneezite DOES work, and I was trying to warn you that it would."

Lumpy responded with another sniffle and some more nose-rubbing. "Hey, Sdiffles, could you please get be a tissue? I really deed sobe, I'b dot feelidg so good dow..."

"I can tell that you do."

Sniffles retrieved a box of tissues and handed it to Lumpy. He immediately took a few tissues from the box and blew his nose loudly. The final action, however, caused his eyes to widen as he felt another sneeze coming on.

"Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh... AaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH--" Lumpy tilted his neck slightly back, and then released a comparatively smaller sneeze than any of the ones in his sneezing fit from earlier. He made sure to aim his nose at the tissues that he was holding. "CHOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo!" He then sniffled and started wiping his nostrils on the tissues.

"Bless you," Sniffles said.

"Thadks..." Lumpy responded as he continued wiping his nose.

"I hope you've learned your lesson." Sniffles offered him the box, which Lumpy accepted and took from him.

"Yeah, I sure have..." Lumpy sighed to himself due to his nose, which was still pretty red and running quite a lot. It would take him a while to recover from his sneezing fit, but given how strong the Sneezite had been, he pretty much knew that would happen.

Lumpy and Giggles

Giggles was sitting on her couch, watching TV, when she heard the doorbell ring. She turned off the TV, got up from the couch and left the living room. Once she had made it to the front door, she put her hand on the knob, turned it and opened the door. When she saw who was at the door, however, her expression went from cheerful to surprised, then confused. Lumpy was at the door, but that wasn't why her mood had changed. That was because he wasn't looking so good.

He was slouching, his eyes had bags under them, and his nose had turned a bright red. There were also a couple of small, thin drops of mucus oozing from both of his nostrils. Lumpy sniffled audibly, trying to suck up the mucus, but that didn't seem to work. He felt even worse than he looked.

"Hey, Giggles," Lumpy said in a very congested, raspy voice. He could feel his throat aching with nearly everything he managed to say.

"Lumpy? Are you feeling all right? Oh, my. You look awful..." Giggles said, sounding concerned.

"No, I'b dot feelidg so good," Lumpy said with another sniffle. His nostrils continued to run, and he brought up his right hand to rub them. It didn't seem to help much, however. "I thig I'b catchidg a code."

"I don't know about that. You look more like you've already caught a cold," Giggles stated.

She wanted to say more than that, but suddenly, Lumpy's eyes shot open and his nostrils flared up. Realizing what was going to happen, he removed his hand from his nose, closed his eyes and tilted his neck back repeatedly as he began to take hitched breaths. He was going to sneeze.

"Ah... Aaaaah..." Lumpy tried to sniffle and keep his nostrils from flaring, but he didn't have enough power. One inhale later, he released, shooting his head downwards so that he wouldn't spray Giggles. He could feel mucus releasing from his nostrils and spit releasing from his mouth with his sneeze. "AAAAAAHHHHHH-CHOOOOooooooooo!"

Giggles responded with a surprised, "Oh, my goodness!"

Lumpy sniffled repeatedly as he raised his right forefinger to his nostrils and rubbed back and forth. His nostrils were flowing with mucus, even after that big and powerful sneeze.

"Sorry, Giggles." Lumpy continued to rub his nose.

"Oh, you poor thing," Giggles said. She knew what she had to do: she had to take Lumpy in for the day and look after him until he felt better. She put one hand on Lumpy's shoulder and led him into the house. "Would you like me to take care of you and make you feel all better?"

"Yeah, sure. That's pretty buch why I cabe here." Lumpy sniffled again to keep his nose from running.

Giggles led the ill moose into her house, intending to take him to the guest room. Along the way, Lumpy coughed, inhaled and sneezed a few times, but he always made sure to turn his head away from Giggles. A couple of minutes later, they arrived at the guest room, which didn't have many pieces of furniture besides a bed and an end table, which had a box of tissues on it. Lumpy went over to the bed, lay down on it and pulled the blanket over him. Giggles went over to him.

"I'd like you to stay in bed while I take care of you, okay?"

Lumpy nodded in agreement, but suddenly, his nose twitched again. Another sneeze was coming. "Oh, no... Aaahh... Giggles... AaaaaaAAAAAHHHH... I'B GODDAAAAAAHHHH...!"

Giggles quickly figured out what he was trying to say and cringed with fear. She quickly grabbed a tissue from the tissue box, and then pinched Lumpy's nostrils with the tissue. The sneeze was immediately stopped just seconds from its release, but Lumpy wasn't convinced that it was gone.

"Ah. Thadks," Lumpy said, taking the tissue and rubbing his nose on it. He didn't blow his nose, but he had the strangest feeling that the sneeze would escape from him a few seconds later, so he planned to blow after that. "That was a close wud..."

"If there's anything you need from me--" Giggles didn't get to finish her sentence.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" Without any warning, Lumpy sneezed hard into the tissue he was holding. When he removed the tissue, his nostrils were running heavily. He blew his nose for one second, clearing some of the mucus from his body, but it wasn't enough to stop his nose from running. Then he removed the tissue again to rub his nose on his forefinger.

"Bless you," Giggles said.

"Thadks," Lumpy said, again. "What were you godda say?"

"If there's anything you need from me, all you have to do is call me and I'll come up as soon as I can," Giggles said. "Now, is there anything you do need?"

"Dot really..." Lumpy said with a sniffle, and then cleared his throat.

"How about a glass of water?"

Lumpy thought about this, and then said, "Yes, please."

Giggles left the room to get him some water. As she did, Lumpy stayed in the bed, sniffling repeatedly and no longer paying any attention to the used tissue that he had sneezed and blown on moments ago. No matter how many times he sniffed, his nose just wouldn't stop running. It wouldn't stop itching, either.

"Aaahhh..." Lumpy brought a hand up to his snout and rubbed his nostrils, but even though he was trying as hard as he could, the sneeze was coming. "Aaaaaahhhh... AAAAAAAHHHHHHH... AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH..." Lumpy quickly put his hands over his mouth and sneezed a loud double. "CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Aaaaaaaahhhhhhh... CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Lumpy removed his hands and discovered that they were soaked with his spit from the sneeze. There were several strings of spit connected to his hands, these strings leading up to his mouth. He sighed and again rubbed his nose on his forefinger, but had to do it only once this time. After that, he took a tissue from the tissue box, and then cleaned the mucus off of his hands. By the time he had finished, his nose twitched again, and he needed to sneeze again.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH..." Lumpy tilted his head far back, and then sneezed into the blanket that he had over him. He didn't have to hold it up to his face. He also didn't manage to see Giggles arriving into the room with a glass of water in her hand. "CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Lumpy sniffled and rubbed his nose on his forefinger.

"Bless you," Giggles said as she approached him. She handed him the glass of water. "Here you go."

Lumpy smiled and slowly drank the water. A slight burning sensation surged through almost his entire throat as the water made its way down, but it wasn't as painful as when he coughed or sneezed. Once he had finished it, he sighed in relief and handed the glass back to Giggles.

"Thadks, Giggles," he said.

"Let me know if you'd like some more."

"I sure will," Lumpy responded with a light sniffle, but this caused his nose to twitch again.

"Ah... Aaaahhh..." He inhaled twice, tilting his neck back. He could barely see Giggles looking at him in horror. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH..." After a final inhale, he turned his head away from Giggles and released another loud sneeze, which forcefully caused a small amount of mucus to release from his nose. "CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

By the time Lumpy had recovered from this next sneeze, his nose had started running again. He sniffled and brought up a forefinger to rub his nose, while Giggles took a tissue from the tissue box and offered it to him. He took it and blew his nose on it for a few seconds, but his nose continued to run slightly. Despite that, he finished and wiped his nose, sniffling occasionally.

"Is there anything else you'd like me to get for you?" Giggles asked.

"I'll have to think about it..."

"It's okay, take your time," Giggles said. "I'll do anything I can to help you."

With that, she left the room, leaving Lumpy alone in bed. He sniffled and rubbed his nose a few times. He wasn't feeling much better, but he was glad that Giggles was here to take care of him. Besides, the most he had was a cold; nothing too serious, and nothing to sneeze at. With Giggles' help and care, he was going to be fine in a few days.

Sniffles’ Sneezing Powder part 2

After what felt like hours, it was finally morning. Sniffles awakened and got ready for the day. Once he had washed up, he went over to his phone and called Lumpy's phone number. He waited a few minutes for a response, and then he heard him.

"Hello?"

"Lumpy, it's me, Sniffles. I've created a new sneezing powder, and I'd like you to test it, please."

"Me? Why not you?"

"It caused me to sneeze a significantly large number of times, that's why. And besides, if I recall correctly, you have much less of a problem with being made to sneeze."

"Oh, okay. I'll be right there."

"Thank you, goodbye." Sniffles then hung up the phone.

A few minutes later, Lumpy arrived and rang the doorbell. Sniffles answered, greeted Lumpy and let him inside the lab.

"So where's the sneezing powder stuff?" Lumpy asked.

"It's right... here..." Sniffles said as he picked up the shaker of sneezing powder from last night. He wanted to say more, but just interacting with the sneezing powder caused a big sneeze to build. He knew that sneezing in front of Lumpy wouldn't be so bad, so instead of trying not to sneeze, he quickly gave in and turned away from Lumpy, waiting for the sneeze to release. "Ah... AAAAAHHHH..."

"AAAAAAHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo!" The sneeze was released slightly earlier than both of them expected. But the damage was done, and Sniffles didn't have to sneeze again. He rubbed his trunk with his arm and spoke again. "Oh, my. Excuse me."

"It's okay. Now do I get to try the stuff?"

"Yes, but you must be careful. This is quite strong." Sniffles held the shaker in his hand and moved it towards the end of Lumpy's snout. Turning the shaker upside-down, he began to shake sneezing powder into Lumpy's nose.

The effect was near immediate. Lumpy's nostrils flared and his eyes tore up. His nose became extremely itchy, and regardless of whether he rubbed his nose, there was nothing he could do to weaken the sensation. He absolutely needed to sneeze.

"Ah... AAAH... SNIFFLES... AHHHH... STOP..." Lumpy managed to say, despite that he was feeling a sneezing fit coming on.

"Very well, then," Sniffles responded as he stopped and pulled the shaker away.

"AAAAH... AAAAAHHHH... AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Lumpy threw his neck forwards as he sneezed powerfully, and then started to sneeze again. He tilted his head at least one inch backwards before throwing it forwards, and it repeated at least three times. "AH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOO! AH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOO! AAHHHH... CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

The inhale before the third sneeze lasted a little longer than the others. The sneezes didn't do any actual harm, but they were all loud enough to catch Sniffles off-guard. He looked surprised and shocked, partially because of how Lumpy sneezed and partially because of how effectively the sneezing powder worked. Lumpy soon recovered from the sneezes and rubbed his nostrils on his forefinger, assuming the sneezing powder was finished with him.

"Oh, my scientific mind! Those were some sneezes!" Sniffles said. "I guess the sneezing powder really worked."

"Is that good? Ah..." Lumpy needed to sneeze again. "AAAAH..." To hold back the sneeze, Lumpy brought the side of his hand to his nose and rubbed a few times, but it didn't seem to be of any help.

"Well, technically, it is, assuming that this powder remains in the right hands and is used carefully at all times. But I must warn you, intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the powder will lead to--" Sniffles didn't get to finish his warning.

"AAAAHHHH! CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Lumpy released another loud sneeze, and then started to inhale again. He quickly brought up his left hand to sneeze into. "Ah, AAAAAHHHH... CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Lumpy removed his hand and tried to catch his breath. That sneezing powder was really affecting him, maybe even more than anything he was allergic to, like pollen. He didn't know that there was actually pollen in the sneezing powder, however. Sniffles patiently waited until the moose was done sneezing before he continued.

"--will lead to harmful or fatal results."

"Ugh. Sorry, Sniffles, I just can't stop sneezing..." Lumpy rubbed his nose on his hand, causing his nostrils to itch again. "But it feels... Aaaah... pretty good... Aaaaahhhh..."

"Are you implying that you're enjoying the sneezing powder?"

"Aaaahhhh..." Lumpy inhaled, bringing his left hand back to his face. "It's not... Aaaaaahhhh... the powder, it's the... AAAAAAAHHHHHH... the sneez... es... AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH... I'm gonna... AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH... Sneeze... AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH..."

"Oh, not again..." Sniffles muttered to himself.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH..." Lumpy inhaled as he held his hand in front of his twitching nostrils, and tilted his head back repeatedly. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH... AAAAAAAHHHHH..." Just as he thought he was going to sneeze, however, the urge faded. He removed his hand from his face and sighed.

"I think it's stuck..." Lumpy sniffled. The sneeze had gone away, but his nostrils still itched slightly. "Hey, can I please borrow that powder?"

"Very well, then, but you must at least promise you'll be careful," Sniffles said as he handed the powder to Lumpy. Fortunately, he took it with his right hand, which was the hand he hadn't sneezed on yet. "I know how much of an imbecile you are..."

As much as Lumpy wanted to sneeze, he was very worried about what would happen. He didn't know how many times he would sneeze or how strongly he would do it, but he could bet that it would be a big one. Holding the shaker over his nose, he shook a very small amount of sneezing powder onto his nostrils. They suddenly cringed and reddened, and he cringed as well. His eyes began to tear up slightly. The sneeze was returning, and it was going to be a big one.

"Aaahhh..." Lumpy hastily gave the powder back to Sniffles, and started fanning his right hand in front of his face. "AAAAAAAHHHHHHH..."

Sniffles nervously moved out of the way so that Lumpy wouldn't sneeze on him. Sniffles also put his hands to the sides of his head so that he wouldn't hear the sneeze.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

Lumpy released the huge sneeze, and this time, it was loud enough to shake the entire room. It also caused some objects to fall to the floor, but none of them were broken or severely damaged. The sneeze felt amazing to release, but Lumpy lost a good amount of breath in releasing it. After the sneeze and its effects had finally ended, Sniffles removed his hands and returned to Lumpy.

"Ugh. Wow. That was a pretty good one." Lumpy rubbed his nose on his right forefinger.

"Gesundheit, Lumpy," Sniffles said. Lumpy didn't know what the word meant, but he didn't question it.

"Thanks for letting me try the sneezing powder, Sniffles. It works just a little too good," Lumpy said, still rubbing his nose. "I'm gonna go home for now. Sorry about all the sneezes."

"It's no problem whatsoever, Lumpy. It was what the powder was meant to cause. See you later."

Lumpy walked over to the front door, opened it with his right hand, and left the lab, closing the door behind him. Sniffles opened the door again to spray some disinfectant on the doorknob.

Lumpy Has Allergies

Lumpy was sitting at the bus stop, waiting for a ride. He wanted to go to the cafe and meet up with his friends, but the bus seemed to be running a little later than usual. He didn't mind, however, since he wasn't in a hurry, and he didn't expect anything important to happen.

Suddenly, however, his nose began to twitch, and his nostrils flared up slightly. He sniffled and brought a hand up to his face to rub his nose. It became clear that it wasn't working, and his nostrils continued to flare constantly. Lumpy kept rubbing his nose, not understanding why it was so itchy.

Then, it hit him. It was one of the first few days of spring, and sweet-smelling flowers were blooming wherever there was grass. However, the air was filled to the brim with pollen as well, and that didn't smell so sweet. It seemed to be bothering Lumpy's nose right now.

"Ah..." Lumpy inhaled, removing his hand from his face and tilting his head back as his nostrils continued to flare up. For whatever reason besides his hay fever, just thinking about how much pollen there was increased the power of the upcoming sneeze that was building. "Aaaaahhhhh..." Lumpy sniffled again, but he could feel his nose preparing to fire as much mucus as it was producing. He could also feel the sneeze getting worse as well. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH..." Lumpy tilted his neck as far back as he could, and then shot it forward as he released the sneeze, causing a small amount of mucus to spurt out of his nose.

"CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" Even after that sneeze, which was louder and more powerful than he had been used to, Lumpy's nose hadn't been satisfied. The allergic moose could still feel his nostrils twitching like mad. "Ahhhh... Aaaaaahhhh..." Lumpy again tilted his neck back in sync with each inhale that he took as he waited for the next sneeze to release. "AAAAAAAAHHHHHH...! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!"

Lumpy again threw his neck forwards as he released a slightly larger amount of mucus from his nose. This time, his nose had had enough, but now it was slightly red, and his nostrils had a couple drops of mucus oozing out of them. It almost looked like he had a cold. Lumpy brought up a forefinger and used it to rub his nose for a while. He sniffled repeatedly as he did and sighed in despair.

"There's nothing worse than being allergic to stuff."

Lumpy Sneeze Paragraph

You remembered exactly what happened. You couldn't forget about it no matter what you did. You were hanging out with your good friend, Lumpy the blue moose, when a huge sneeze located him and cornered him. At just the right timing, you saw Lumpy looking confused, with his nose twitching, nostrils flaring, eyes squeezing shut. He clearly didn't want to sneeze in front of you, but he was becoming aware that there was no other choice, and he had to surrender. He threw his head back as he began to inhale.

"Ahhh... Ahhh... Ahhh..."

He inhaled repeatedly as the sneeze grew dramatically in power. After the third and final inhale, he put his right forefinger directly under his nose. You'd seen characters do this to themselves, however, and you knew that this wouldn't work. True to this, the finger seemed to have no effect whatsoever. Defeated by the sneeze, Lumpy tilted his head back one more time and then it came. A loud, powerful, dramatic, theatrical, "CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

His head automatically jerked forward with the sneeze. He didn't have a chance to cover his mouth as the sneeze was so large that it almost demanded that it be uncovered, although he didn't sneeze directly onto you. Seconds later, Lumpy recovered, tilting his head back to its normal position, rolling his eyes, giving a single but sharp sniffle, and bringing his right forefinger to his nostrils to rub them. He looked at you with an embarrassed look on his face, continuing to rub his nose and giving you a mild, "Sorry..."

Forgiving him immediately, you blessed him. You could just barely resist squealing in delight, but you just couldn't help it. That was one of the best sneezes you had ever heard.
