~ Your safety is Goemon’s top priority. So while he never goes anywhere without his sword anyway, he definitely isn’t when you’re dating. Any time he senses something that could possibly be dangerous, his hand is already on its handle. He just wants you to be safe.

“Goemon, it’s just a dog.”

“Yes, but it could be aggressive.”

“I don’t think it is. It looks like it wants to be pet.”

“I advise that you stay away from it. You never know someone’s true intentions.”

“Oh, Goemon…”

~ Along with your safety, he also prioritizes your health. If he gets the slightest hint that you may not feel well, he won’t leave you alone until his question is answered. If you are unwell, he of course takes care of you. You’re not allowed to leave bed unless you absolutely have to, so he’ll do anything and everything for you.

“Drink some more tea, it’s good for you.”

“Goemon, you’ve already given me four cups in the last hour and a half.”

~ Goemon isn’t one to initiate or ask for affection. But that doesn’t mean he hates it. Sure, some acts can be a bit too much for him, but others, he enjoys. Hand holding is one of his favorites. It’s the feeling of you being there that comforts him. He also likes when you hold onto his arm. It feels more like he’s protecting you that way. Just make sure it on the opposite side of his sword.

~ He secretly enjoys when you play with his hair. He has such long, soft, luscious locks. It’s impossible to resist running your fingers through it! Normally, Goemon prefers not to be touched, but the way your nails run across his scalp relaxes him. He finds himself going into a meditative state in no time.

~ He most definitely writes poems about you. He’d never show them to you, in fact, he’d literally die if you read them. Lucky for him though, they’re all in Japanese. So unless you know the language or can get one of the other guys to translate, there’s no chance of understanding them. There are times though, when he writes one specifically for your viewing.(Mostly on holiday cards)

~ Goemon spoils you with little gifts quite often. They’re mostly little charms he found on his travels that made him think of you. Though the gifts could also be dried and pressed flowers(so you can keep them forever), your favorite snacks or a simple accessory he thought would look good on you.

“I picked this up on my travels.”

“Oh, thank you! What is it?”

“I’m not sure. But I assumed you would like it.”

“Well you assumed correctly. Thanks Gogo!”

~ He loves watching you enjoy your hobbies. Whether it’s art, crafts, sports, music or anything else, he likes seeing you have fun. And if you want to talk his ear off about the things you enjoy, that’s fine by him. But just know that he’s more of a listener, so he might not respond much.

~ Lupin thinks it’s so endearing how you put others needs before your own. Him and the gang can be the complete opposite at times, caring more about themselves. So he finds it so cute how you go out of your way to help others.

“Hey (name)! ‘What am I doing’? The dishes. Lemme guess, you wanna help? Sure! Thanks cutie.~”

~ He tends to let you do your thing most of the time. It makes you happy to help, so why stop you? He doesn’t complain when you want to help him either. In fact, he’s all for it! Less work for him!

“Pops just wouldn’t let up today! He caused us so much trouble. We got pretty roughed up. Even ripped my coat pretty bad.”

“I can sew it up for you!”

“Really? Aww, thanks (name)! You’re a gem!”

~ However, if you start to not may enough attention to yourself, that’s where he draws the line. Putting your own health behind others isn’t okay. He’ll switch roles on you; making himself do everything for you. You’re not allowed to complain either!

“This is the fifth time in a row you’ve done the laundry. We’re supposed to take turns! I’m doing it this time.”

“Oh no, that’s okay-“

“Nope! You’re obviously tired today. You go relax, I’ll take care of this.”

~ Lupin is a sneaky guy. So he can trick you into relaxing without you realizing it! He’ll ask you to help him with something, and tell you to wait on the couch for him. You’ll lay down, and he won’t come back. It’ll take at least thirty minutes to realize you’ve been bamboozled. He always promises he won’t do it again, but we both know he’s a big fat liar…

~ Some people may try to take advantage of the fact that you’re a people pleaser. It’s hard to come to the fact that they’re using you, because you just want to help. But Lupin is smart. He knows people’s true intentions. So he’ll lead you away from them, not telling you exactly why as to not hurt your feelings. He won’t let your kindness be taken advantage of!

“They need help again? Oh, I’m sure they’ll be fine on their own! C’mon babe, I actually have something we can do together!”

~ Lupin is constantly reminding you that you don’t need to help all the time to be liked. He loves you no matter what! He lets you know that it’s okay to relax, and to ask for help for yourself.
