> It was some time before you could admit it to them, though. You were a mess whenever either of them got close and never could collect yourself enough to say anything. 

> That didn’t stop you from spending time with them, even if you did feel like a fool. They never did make fun of you for it. Sometimes Luz would giggle or Amity would give one of her little smiles, but that didn’t really bother you. You loved when they were happy.
