Watching another Sam Reid movie and this time getting hit by Rebecca Ferguson, Charles Dance and Anthony Head. Damn. The guy can't act with regular actors, no, he's got to be opposite the top of the top.

Anyway, love a good Soviet-era spy thriller. And Despite The Falling Snow not only has spy story, but also gorgeous love story, art, lesbian characters, excellent score and tragedy.

So that's 3 for 3 for "Sam Reid's character falls stupidly in love with someone who lies to him and betrays him", 3 for 3 for "Sam Reid in a queer media" and 2 for 3 for "Sam Reid's character gets murdered/attempted murdered by his partner". I sense a pattern.
