Jason was off doing his usual thing—taking care of the camp counselors—while you kept to yourself in the cabin, avoiding the social chaos that always made you uncomfortable. Suddenly, the door burst open, and a bloodied figure stumbled inside, immediately setting you on edge. You retreated into the shadows, watching as the girl frantically searched for something, likely a weapon, before flicking on the lights.

"Ahh!" she screamed, but her panic quickly shifted to relief. "Thank God you're not that freak!"

A frown crossed your face. How dare she insult your lover?

You remained silent, your eyes tracking the girl's every move as she nervously paced around the cabin. She tried to engage you, her voice trembling with fear. "Hey, are you okay? Did he…did he hurt you? Oh God, did he cut out your tongue or something?"

Her words barely registered. You didn’t flinch, didn’t speak. The quiet unease of the situation settled around you like a second skin. She probably assumed you were just another of Jason's victims, traumatized and mute, which suited you fine. You had no intention of correcting her.

Suddenly, the door crashed again, and he was there—Jason. Massive, imposing, and silent as ever. His machete gleamed under the dim cabin light, still slick with blood. Her wide, terrified eyes darted toward you, and in her desperation, she lunged, grabbing your arm. The sudden contact made you flinch, recoiling instinctively. You hated being touched, especially by strangers, but she didn’t notice—too consumed by her own fear.

"Come on! We have to get out of here!" she cried, her grip tight as she dragged you toward the door, pulling you along in her misguided attempt to save you both.

But you didn't want to run. You didn’t need saving.

Jason’s heavy footsteps echoed behind you, and you could feel him gaining on the two of you. The girl’s breath came in panicked gasps as she pushed forward, desperately trying to escape. Then, it happened. Jason struck, and the girl screamed as she fell, the force of her collapse sending you tumbling to the ground alongside her.

You hit the floor hard, your knee scraping against the rough wooden planks. A sharp sting shot up your leg as blood oozed from the wound. You winced but remained silent, even as the pain radiated through you.

Jason’s shadow loomed over the girl, and it only took one swift motion to end her cries. Her body slumped to the ground, lifeless. The cabin fell into a sudden, oppressive silence, broken only by the faint sound of your own labored breathing.

Jason turned toward you, his expression unreadable behind that familiar hockey mask, but his actions were anything but threatening. He crouched beside you, his presence calming rather than terrifying. His gaze fell on your bloody knee, and without hesitation, he sheathed his weapon and gently reached out. His large hand carefully touched the area around the wound, touch surprisingly soft, as if afraid of hurting you further.

You remained still, watching him work in silence. There was no fear, no hesitation in your mind. Jason was dangerous, yes, but never to you. He seemed to sense your discomfort with the blood, with the girl’s corpse still nearby, and he positioned himself between you and the body, shielding you from the sight.

With the worst of the blood wiped away, Jason helped you to your feet, his grip steady, never forceful. He lingered close, a silent protector, knowing exactly how much interaction you could handle without feeling overwhelmed. "Thank you." You murmured, leaning your head against his chest. You only received a grunt before closing your eyes and falling asleep. Social interactions always took a large toll on you.

People keep questioning the otome label towards Homicipher just because it does not have dates or kissing that is commonly expected in the genre. This is a misconception and is based on common dating games and romance focused visual novels.

Otome means female targeted game, as long as the player is a heroine who can pursue male characters and end up with him then it is an otome, how it goes about it does not matter. It can be any genre and should not be trapped on simply being just a dating game.

Love should not be about constant affirmation but rather a simple validation should be what is expected.

The entire game is about doing something out of love based on action rather than words.

The apparitions in question do in fact express interest, even outside of the 6 bachelors. It's just that people are placing human expectations on individuals who do not understand nor behave in the same manner.

Mr. Silvair for example expresses his interest and affection towards you in his own way but is being brushed aside and assumed that he only wants you for researching, that is half truth.

He doesn't understand the concept of love but is willing to understand it because he does care if you saw his other ending. If Mr. Silvair was a yandere, this way of thinking would've been seen as acceptable and considered 'romantic' but since he isn't, suddenly it's not an otome.

Mr. Hood and Mr. Machete are not considered as options because their spotlight in the game is minimal at best, which is what the game's shortcoming is. Does saying it out loud need to be stated when he's going through lengths to protect and stand by your side? What matters is that he chose you and that should be enough to be seen as affection.

Mr. Gap's entire existence gives insight on how these entities take things in a literal sense and never by it's secondary meaning. He want someone's heart but takes it literally when all this time what he wanted was someone's company. If you have reached his route, he declines your actual heart, he always asks for permission but in the return end, he didn't need to anymore because he found what he was seeking.

There other who think Mr. Chopped has no route when in fact most did not trigger it during Chapter 1.

Mr. Crawling is popular because he is the one with the most screen time, most interactions are with him and he has the optional romance endings and even a confession on chapter 4, which you can still continue onwards Chapter 5 with the info that the two of you are together regardless.

Mr. Scarletella is the main plot and the reason for MC's arrival in the world, everything he did stems from obsessions and misplaced affections towards you.

All of these are otome related, I don't know why people are struggling to accept this. It's right there in front of you.

Character wheel of my homicipher oc and his feeling on the other residents along with how the residents feel about him.

Starting with Mr. Crawling, the two have a friendly relationship. More often than not Mr. Bachelor is hanging around Mr. Crawling and his territory since it is peaceful, away from most hostile residents and it has good company. They often talk about anything out of the ordinary or go on walks with Mr. Chopped around the empty halls to stave boredom, looking at other world junk that’s fallen from recent earthquakes.

Speaking of Mr. Chopped, his relation with Mr. Bachelor is fine. The bachelor often helps the wandering head get back to Mr. Silvair and Mr. Crawling when he gets in trouble with the Hooded Child or earthquakes. However Mr. Chopped has, on more than one occasion, taken a few fingers from Mr. Bachelor when he fell asleep getting carried back, unintentionally ofc. This has prompted Mr. Bachelor to keep Mr. Chopped awake by talking or entertaining him until they get back to Mr. Silvair. It makes the bachelor look more chatty than he really is.

Despite being around Mr. Silvair’s base of operations so often, Mr. Bachelor doesn’t interact with the doctor all that much. Perhaps it’s due to the fact that Mr. Silvair was interested with him and the Bride right after they became residents, due to their unique relationship and transformation and it left a bad meteorological taste in the bachelors mouth. But since then they have more or less become neutral to each other, at most giving a curt nod in the others direction before returning to business.

Mr. Stitch is more or less an annoying thorn in Mr. Bachelor’s side. The former has a habit of stealing the latter’s hat, and one time coat, resulting in a wild goose chase that had Mr. Bachelor snapping the neck of the stitched man as a last resort. That doesn’t stop Mr. Stitch from trying again or just annoying the resident with mindless yapping. Mr. Stitch is just entertained because Mr. Bachelor seems to react more viscerally than the other residents.

When Mr. Bachelor and the Bride first arrived, the first resident they met was Mr. Gap. They ran away when the resident asked for their hearts and every subsequent encounter they ignored and avoided him. This left Mr. Gap salty and even after the couple got turned into residents, he didn’t appear in front of them as in his mind, they were no fun. Mr. Bachelor sees him as harmless now, more or less.

A chill runs down the bachelors spine when he hears the sharp sing of metal being dragged along the concrete floor as it usually signaled the arrival of the brute known as Mr. Machete. Mr. Bachelor knows Mr. Machete is the one who lobbed off his head, or more simply, killed him. Other than that though, his memories are fuzzy and distorted at best. When the bachelor hears Mr. Machete at all, he turns right around and leaves as quietly as possible. In the beginning, this barely worked as the wall of muscle would catch on someone was there in a heartbeat and immediately try to fight them. Over time though Mr. Machete realized he would not get a fun fight out of Mr. Bachelor and whenever he saw the white clad resident, he would simply let him pass.

Ms. Blue Clad never really bothered Mr. Bachelor. Only on rare occasions when she saw he had flowers or the ring out she would inquire if she could have them. He would agree to the flowers but always refuse with the ring, sometimes getting impatient with her insistance.

As briefly stated before, Mr. Bachelor and the Bride get along fine. Having forgotten each other, they exchange brief pleasantries when they encounter each other but other than that, they have no reason to seek out each others company. She does delight in the fact that his clothes are pretty and never seem to get dirty.

While there are many similarities between the two, Mr. Hood and the bachelor only exchange brief glances of acknowledgement if they happen to pass in the same hallway. Mr. Hood has no real reason to talk to Mr. Bachelor and vice versa. The hooded resident tended to be a loner by nature and only helped if directly asked. Mr. Bachelor tends to gravitate towards more lively company and so moves on to find someone else.

Mr. Bachelor would be fine with the large, almost overbearing presence of Mr. Hugeface had it not been for that time he suddenly grabbed the newly resurrected resident after being killed. Mr. Hugeface was curious about the new residents after he caught the bodies of the couple moving. Being the impulsive and curious ghost he is, he reached and grabbed Mr. Bachelor first, spooking the new ghost. Afterwards the bachelor avoids Mr. Hugeface and his presence at all costs.

The first time Mr. Human encountered Mr. Bachelor was after the poor man fell into the other world. He was unconscious and the bachelor found his body lying in the middle of a busy hallway where ghosts frequented. Mr. Bachelor decided to move the human to a room with a dilapidated couch. Mr. Human woke up to a long white coat draped across him. When his eyes shifted to the resident standing over him, he had the justified reaction of screaming and running away. The bachelor just shrugged and put his coat back over his shoulders, knowing if he followed, the human would just get more scared.

Like most, if not all residents, Mr. Bachelor tends to keep away from the man dressed in scarlet. He knows Mr. Scarletta is powerful and dangerous and can feel the air get heavy when he is nearby. If the bachelor does catch a glimpse of red, he just keeps to himself, not bringing attention to whatever he’s doing. Mr. Scarletta never bothered Mr. Bachelor so he is content with avoiding encounters with the scarlet man.

Not Pictured:

Ms. Nurse appeared shortly after the couple got killed, lured by the scream of the Bride and the blood running rivers into the cracks of the hall. After noticing her services would not be required, she quietly walked away. Mr. Bachelor has not encountered the Nurse since.

Mr. Bachelor has only met the Hairdresser a handful of times when Mr. Chopped requested a haircut. Since he is without hair, as soon as the ginger resident is done, they leave shortly after.

Mr. Masque has only appeared in front of Mr. Bachelor once, greeting the new resident before showing off a magic trick. The bachelor was disoriented but enjoyed nonetheless.

Mr. Wheelchair never gave Mr. Bachelor a glance when he passed by so the bachelor just assumed the resident didn’t want to talk and didn’t bother him.

Mr. Bachelor is often breaking up fights between the Hooded Child and Mr. Chopped. They bicker constantly and the Hooded Child only seems happy when the bachelor agrees to play with them. Mr. Bachelor has been subject to hide and seek, spot the difference, and tag, often playing for hours on end.

Homicipher Episode 1 Guide

If you want the additional 2 rows/alternate routes of Episode 1, skip down to big red text.

I included the scenes of the correct storyline of Episode 1 which is may be unnecessary as they are easy to get through with minor trial and error, but I still included them.

Proceed down below the cut, scene order is from left to right and top to bottom.

Scene 1: Game starts, click on Mr Crawling

Scene 2-3: Interact with Mr Hood as per usual and leave through the door

Scene 4: Do not go down the doorless pathway on the right as it would result in death (unless you leave) and no progression.

The closed door on the right is where you’ll meet Mr Gap who asks to take your heart (in a very literal sense unfortunately), close the door on him or don’t open it at all (however I recommend that you do open it so you can get some words to translate).

Go to door on the left.

Scene 5: Enter the room after moving junk out the way and meet Mr Chopped.

Scene 6: You have the choice between either picking up the little guy or leaving him there.

Scene 7: This is the result of you leaving Mr Chopped and going downstairs without him, getting kidnapped and experimented on by Mr Silvair which is Ending 01 - Research (I personally do not mind being tortured by him.)

Scene 8: This is the result of picking up Mr Chopped and will progress the game further on.

Scene 9: A little language lesson with Mr Silvair and Mr Chopped, afterwards go into the door at the back on the room.

Scene 10: Now inside Mr Silvair’s torture room/lab, collect some more words if you’d like, then leave the torture room and exit Mr Silvair’s base.

Scene 11: Go up stairs, Mr Silvair bids you farewell, and continue on your journey.

Scene 12: There’s two ways to go to, and regardless of which side you pick it would result in the same outcome of being alarmed by a mysterious presence and running to the dark left side. With the two rectangular windows on the wall, the right one is empty while the left one has Mr Gap who cannot do anything with the bars in the way (haha loser), which you can use to collect more words.

Scene 13: Once went into the dark left side, you can grab a crowbar and hide or hide without any weapon behind the wall.

Scene 14: Mr Crawling pops outta nowhere in your hiding space.

Scene 15: It’s when you beat him in the face with a crowbar that you picked up before hiding.

Scene 16: Regardless whether or not you grabbed the weapon beforehand (you’ll still get it anyways) and hit Mr Crawling, you leave the room and head out to the hallway over to where the original red glowing right side is. Mr Crawling accompanies you.

Scene 17: You see the blood splatter on the floor, then sense someone approaching.

Scene 18: Mr Crawling alerts you of danger, talk to him and he’ll push you down to the ground and get on top of you (ykyk) to protect you. Get angry and push him instead then he’ll leave you to your death (understandable have a nice day) and you’ll get killed by Mr Scarletella.

Scene 19 and 20: Once Mr Scarletta leaves, you and Mr Crawling progress on the journey.

Episode 1 ends here.

For the additional alternative route/s of Episode 1:

(Note: To unlock this alternate route you must complete the main storyline first all the way to episode 5, so you cannot do this in a fresh save)

Scene 21: Start from Scene 1 and DO NOT click on Mr Crawling, wait for the time to run out. Then follow the arrows to Scene 22.

Scene 22: Keep following arrows. If you click on any characters you pass by, you will kill them.

Scene 23: Once you walked into a certain room (aka Mr Machete’s room) continue to walk and get stabbed by Mr Machete. Do not get up.

Scene 24: After staying down from Machete’s attack, you end up in a collapsed room with Mr Chopped inside who asks you to help him. Talk to him instead of killing him as that would lead to Ending 13 - And Then I Saw No One (this ending physically hurts me btw).

Scene 25: You chat with Chopped who tries to teach you more words. When the selection between two sentences comes up, it doesn’t matter which one you pick, Chopped will fall asleep.

Scene 26: As Chopped is resting, he talks some more and reminisces about Mr Silvair sadly, in which you pat him on the head (thankfully not killing him). He will then sadly complain that his hair is dirty and wants to go to the hair dresser.

Scene 27: There will be an earthquake/building collapse, but there’s a tunnel to exit through.

Scene 28: After climbing out of tunnel, just follow the arrow to the hairdresser’s room. This is the end of Mr Chopped’s Route.

Scene 29: Start from Scene 23, this time look up in time after being stabbed by Mr Machete which will result in getting killed by him which will end in Ending 12 - Sore Loser. However you can go beyond this ending for Scene 29 and 30.

Once gone beyond, you enter a fight with Mr Machete, make sure to click in time!

Scene 30: However despite hitting him in time, you will still end up losing, resulting in ‘Fight End’.

Ooh ooh!!! jason headcanons!!! younger bro got obsessed with friday the 13th stuff the other day and made me watch videos

spectre had to alter stuff to the killers could only hurt survivors and not eachother specifically because jason. the second he arrived in forsaken it was instant machete to john doe's corrupted arm. nothing happened, but that didn't stop jason from trying!

eventually john put a hole through jason's torso, and threw him away, and this started a "rivalry" between john and jason, with jason trying his hardest to kill john, and john not really noticing and then brushing jason off. one time jason enter a round on like 358 hp, which caused spectre to finally step in and prevent killers from hurting each other.

whenever interacting with other killers he just stares. especially c00lkidd and bluudud. it's mostly bluudud. mostly whenever bluudud insult c00lkidd, or c00lkidd says "im telling dad!"

jason has threatened 1x before by slowly holding up his machete, but 1x entangled him before he could do anything

very slightly feels remorse killing 007, but only until he sees his next victim. c00lkidd and 007 remind him of him and his mom very very slightly

jason is also extremely frustrated he can't break the glass house. he fucking loves destroying windows have you seen the movies at all it's like the one thing he hates as much as people making out is window and architecture

jason..oh how I cherish you and your weird gimmicks and strange behavior. This guys growing on me, these headcanons make him seem like a goofy villain in a very positive light.
