Rabastan was in a dilemma. Hagrid had towed in a dozen pine trees just a couple days ago, and by now each glittered and shined throughout every corridor. Suits of armor were practicing their carols, Flitwick had charmed each portrait their own winter wonderland backdrop, and even the ghosts were causing a commotion about their own holiday parties (chattering excitedly on about how spoiled ham always seemed to smell more pungent when stored in a blistering cold dungeon -- nobody seems to want to ask what that’s all about). Holiday cheer had decidedly seeped into the castle’s walls overnight, and usually he would be all for it. In fact, he was geared to be all for it.

But how was he supposed to enjoy the prospect of huddling close over mugs of hot cocoa and standing over mistletoe, when the one person in particular he wanted to enjoy such festivities with seemed content with keeping him an arm’s length away?

It was a selfish thought, he knew it was. After all, he was lucky that Mary had accepted his apology in the first place. To remain friends -- which was not at all a punishment, but really rather more than he probably deserved. Rabastan could be okay with ‘just friends’, was prepared to be, because it was a hell of a lot better than the alternative. It was just a little difficult at the moment, as he strolled out of the castle and was immediately struck with the sight of the Gryffindor swallowed in a jacket too puffy, and mittens (Godric, he’s never thought of the absence of fingers to be so cute ‘til now), and a scarf wrapped all the way up to her slightly pink nose, possibly coming back from Hogsmeade. A wide grin had immediately sprung against his face at seeing her, but it tamped down for a moment as a stray doubt intruded him.

The realization came to him all at once that he wasn’t actually sure how to act around a friend he wasn’t attracted to. Rabastan didn’t want to make her feel weird, or that he was taking advantage of her leniency on him, and for a split second he had to figure out the appropriate way to compose himself. Surely, friends could smile at each other, but how big was that smile allowed to be? And were hugs okay? He absolutely loved to give Regulus and Emma hugs, but he knew that 56% of the reason was because he enjoyed the way the the smell of their shampoos would linger around him afterwards.

It was really too much to worry over. But she had already seen him and he did want to talk to her, so Rabastan did the most platonic thing he could think of. With still a few feet between them, he stooped down and scooped up a handful of snow, and with a joyful “Hey, pal!” expertly packed it into a ball and launched it at Mary.

Mary wasn’t sure what Rabastan had been doing before he had the Daily Prophet shoved in his face. She didn’t care enough to notice. When she was with him at the Halloween dance, everything else had fallen away and it felt like they were the only two people in the world. Nothing else mattered. She was experiencing a similar feeling now, except this time the tunnel-vision was fueled by rage.

It was rare to see Mary consumed by pure anger like she was at the moment. Sure, there were plenty of things happening around her that made her angry. But too often that anger was diluted by fear and sadness, something she hated to admit but unfortunately was the truth. There was no confusing what she was feeling now, though. Her knuckles were white as her hands clenched around the newspaper, her jaw was tensed so hard it looked like she might break her teeth, and the look in her eyes told everyone else don’t even try to get involved right now. She looked wholly unlike herself.

“What the fuck is this?” He might not even be able to tell with how close she was currently holding the page to his face. But that’s okay because she didn’t need an answer to know exactly what it was. The Prophet had run a story on Benjy’s protest, and she had heard about it even if she wasn’t a regular news reader. So it might have taken her a few weeks to get her hands on a copy. But when she did, well, she hardly got a chance to read what was written.

Because the minute she opened it, her eyes quickly went to a photo of the counter protesters. A few pricks she had the pleasure of running into briefly at the protest. That was no surprise. What was a surprise was the person standing behind the group, not noticeable at first but came into view when the people in the picture started to move around. The person who was instantly recognizable to her. The person who was holding a sign that said….

“‘Make blood pure again?’” She threw the paper down into Rabastan’s lap so she could get a good look at his face. So he could get a good look at hers. It was strange to be looking into his eyes and not thinking of the next moment she could pull him into a dark corner and kiss him until she ran out of breath. Which, admittedly, had been much of the past week or so of her life. But it was really the furthest thing from her mind at the moment. Much more on the forefront was what was the heaviest book she had on her that she could use to hit him.

“Are you fucking kidding me? I didn’t expect you to be at the head of the resistance but I never thought you were... one of them.”

Link in Bio. A pressure regulator can modify the downstream pressure compared to the upstream pressure. A standard regulator can increase the pressure to the desired one. A regulator with relieving can also reduce the pressure down to zero and without draining the system. Both keep the pressure stable at the selected pressure. A simple tap opens and closes the air, but does not change the pressure. Una valvola di sicurezza serve a mantenere costante la pressione nell’impianto anche se questa supera i limiti del regolatore di pressione. In questo modo la sicurezza degli operatori e dei macchinari è garantita. Questa valvola che ho costruito e che in inglese prende il nome di relief valve, può essere regolata da due a dieci bar. Durante il tutorial vi spiegherò anche il funzionamento. Il video è stato pensato anche per scopi di natura didattica. Ho fatto, infine, differenti test sia in tenuta che per funzionalità cambiando la modalità di lavoro del carico in termini di forza ovvero bar e modalità di attuazione. Link in Bio. Un regolatore di pressione può modificare la pressione a valle rispetto a quella a monte. Un regolatore standard può aumentare la pressione fino a quella desiderata. Un regolatore con relieving può ridurre anche la pressione fino a zero e senza scaricare l’impianto. Entrambi, mantengono la pressione stabile a quella selezionata. Un rubinetto semplice apre e chiude l’aria, ma non modifica la pressione.
