Everything I love about Madness Combat 5: Depredation

MC 5 is one of my favourite episodes, and I've been wanting to talk about it for a long time

The music, goodness the music. I gonna repeat that a lot so I apologize in advance, but the theme is ICONIC and I am SO mad that I skipped the oportunity to discover MadCom in my earlier years if I only had more curiosity about Riddle School

That intro was really good, love how the theme slowed down for the title cards

(Also, someone once noted that they are reffered to as "The Victims". With Hank simply being "The Protagonist", the way they said it kinda make you know he wasn't the good guy in this.)

Breaking through a roof window and shooting people behind you is very much badass

The slow-mo of Hank jumping and shooting the agents was obviously cool as Hell, but they made him miss most of his shots which I think is an awesome detail. Gives a bit of realism and sillyness in this whole madness

JEBUUUSSSS

Hank halting his escape to look into the distance. Good God that scene. The music slow-down as he is looking in the eyes of desolation, illuminated only by an empty sky of which he killed the Sun, finally turning around and lifting his weapon as he realizes he cannot escape not only from Jebus, but from the entire world he has created for himself.

The combat is very good obviously. Love every standoff between Hank and Jebus

This is the episode where Tricky becomes a Problem. He was already a problem beforehand, yes, but this is Problem, with a capital P and bold text

(I theorize that this is the episode in which he obtains the Improbability Drive, since this is when he starts compromizing reality. Although he could simply not have used it in MC 4 too.)
