MADO MONOGATARI: Fia and the Wondrous Academy first launched for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on November 28, 2024 in Japan.

*  ヘビロテ ('hebirote') - Slang, taken from 'heavy rotation,' referring to how radio stations play popular songs very frequently - they rotate those songs heavily on their stations.

**  For cultural context, a person who is haughty or conceited is said to have 'become a tengu.' (Reference: Kotobank, search results for '天狗になる')

***  境界 is usually read 'kyōkai' and translates more directly to 'boundary', but the lyrics include a phonetic clarification in katakana, ライン ('rain'). Katakana is usually used to transcribe foreign words. I took that as a cue to translate it as 'line' instead. Also, the word here that I translated as 'dispose of' is more accurately explained as getting rid of something unnecessary.

There are exactly two video games I actually want to play at this moment and time

I want to finish Eiyuden

I want to try the Switch exclusive English translation for 90s PC Compile RPG, Genseisuikoden Plus.

The first one is very obvious I hope.

The second one interests me because the other Gensei games are only really known in Korea, despite Compile being a Japanese development company. Compile released an endless fuck ton of Disc Station volumes for MSX and PC-98, which is where a majority of Gensei games were released in. This series is largely unknown but would be a fucking smash w/ furries (this is a pun btw). Seriously, look this shit up. You'll find it interesting, I promise. Like did you know that Puyo Puyo is a spin off of Mado Monogatari? Genseisuikoden Plus is published by Daewon, despite Gensei being owned by D4. That's kinda interesting, probably.

I really ought to play Dokyuusei at some point
