Which one you better, phantom O or overblot I ?
(I'm gonna assume you're asking which I like better out of these two 🙇)
This is kind of a hard question, actually! I post Ortho more often but I like Idia and Ortho equally, so deciding which I like more in a situation is pretty difficult, if not impossible for me 😆
With OB Idia, I really missed his normal hair for the longest time but I've gone through the stages of grief, moved on and after seeing him properly when I got the Magical Archives II book, I think his design is pretty cool (I'd like to draw it someday… we'll see) - I both love and feel great emotional pain at how reminiscent parts of it are of humanoid Ortho (in my eyes, at least) 🥺
As for phantom Ortho - who I saw was referred to as "blot incarnation" Ortho in MAII which I kinda like honestly - AHH I wish we weren't limited by the in-game models because when I saw him in the book, I instantly felt that he could be so lively and expressive in a proper animated format, it would be so fun to see but he's stuck in Live2D!! Free him!!!! 😭 This is probably a bit random to point out, but I really like the shade of blue he has for the fire here, it just really speaks to me 😌 I now realise this blue is closer to what I use for the Shrouds' hair which is normally lighter and more aqua-like, maybe I've subconsciously taken that from him?
So yeah, I guess to answer the question after all of that rambling: If I had to pick only one… then I'm leaving it up to a coin flip because there is a 0% chance I could ever with full absolute certainty manage to truly decide 👍

Hot Ones
Book: Open Heart, Book 3
Pairing: Dr. Ethan Ramsey x F!MC (Dr. Sawyer Brooks)
Word count: 2348
Rating: Teen
Category: Fluff
Warning: A couple curse words.
Prompt: Your MC is on Hot Ones (the show)! How’s their spice tolerance and what are their preferred hot sauces? And best of all, what "spicy/ridiculous/personal" questions would they get asked? (prompt courtesy of @inlocusmads)
“Hey, what’s going on everybody? For ‘First We Feast,’ I’m Sean Evans and you’re watching ‘Hot Ones.’ It’s the show with hot questions and even hotter wings. And today we are joined by Dr. Sawyer Brooks. She’s the youngest doctor to ever join the world-renowned diagnostics team at Edenbrook Hospital in Boston, Mass. A team known for solving some of the nation’s toughest medical mysteries. You may also know her from guest appearances on the show ‘Just What the Doctor Ordered’ featuring YouTube sensation, Doctor Mike. Dr. Brooks, welcome to the show.”
“Thank you for having me, Sean. And please call me Sawyer.”
“I overheard you telling your friend backstage that you are a big fan of hot and spicy things.”
A blush quickly creeps up her neck and to her cheeks. “Oh, god,” she says, letting out a laugh. Sawyer looks past the cameras to the tall figure who is watching in the wings.

She shoots a big smile toward Ethan, then turns back to her host. “Um, yes, I do. But I wasn’t referring to food.”
<><><><><><><><><><>
SAUCE #1
“So, this first one is the Classic,” the host says.
Sawyer stares at the lineup of chicken wings in front of her with hesitation. “I have a confession that might get me kicked off the show.” She leans back in her seat as if to protect herself from the impending blowback. “I, I don’t like wings.”
“Wait, what!? How can you not like wings?”
“I know! And I’m sure I’ve just opened myself to a ton of hate maiI,” she says, picking up and inspecting the first wing. “Chicken with skin on it kind of grosses me out. Is it okay if I just nibble or lick the sauces off?”
“You can play the game however you want. We don’t really have any rules here,” Sean chuckles as he takes a bite of his first wing. “Is it true you won a spot on the famed diagnostics team after winning a ‘Top Intern’ competition?”
Sawyer huffs a laugh. “That makes it sound like I was on a reality TV show, like America’s Most Eligible or something.” She takes a small bite of the wing chewing with curiosity. “Although the intern competition was not without some TV-worthy drama. It seriously had it all. Catfights, sabotage, backstabbing… even a dramatic ‘exit from the show,’” she says, bringing the wing back to her lips for a bigger bite while attempting to also make quote fingers.
“That’s not too bad,” she says, nodding to the bottle of sauce.
“To answer your question though, I didn’t exactly win the competition. I worked my butt off to be at the top of the list and felt really good about my chances. But due to some unexpected circumstances the competition was canceled.” She looks down at her plate as flashbacks of the day Ethan quit suddenly flood her mind. “Ultimately, I was appointed to the fellowship by the team’s founding member, Dr. Banerji, after I helped save his life.”
“Wow, that sounds like it could be an episode of Grey’s Anatomy.”
“You have no idea how true that statement is,” she nods in agreement.
<><><><><><><><><><>
SAUCE #2
“The next one is Sauce Bae.”
“Aw, that sounds cute.” Sawyer takes a bite then quickly puts the wing down on the plate and fans her face.
“Not cute. Oh, wow, that’s fever-inducing.” With her napkin, Sawyer makes a show of dabbing sweat from her forehead.
“Speaking of baes, there are a lot of rumors circulating that you and Doctor Mike are an item. Any truth to the dating rumors?” Sean probes.
“Mike is amazing. I love what he’s doing to make medicine even cooler. He’s become a good buddy and I have so much fun when I’m on his show. But we are just friends.”
There is a little bit of commotion behind the cameras. Sawyer notices a crew member rolling his hand encouraging Sean to keep going.
“My crew is begging me to ask a follow up question. Doctor Brooks, does that mean you’re single?”
There is a deep baritone “Ha!” from offstage. Sawyer keeps her eyes trained on Sean.
“I’m sorry… but no, I’m not,” she says desperately trying to keep a poker face.
“Care to tell us more?”
“Nope.” She shakes her head and stuffs the wing back into her mouth to censor herself.
“Fair enough,” Sean says, letting go of the topic. “Sawyer, we have a recurring segment on our show called “Explain that ‘Gram, where we pull interesting pictures from your Pictagram that need more context. I’m going to pull your account up and show you a picture and you tell us what’s going on.”
“Okay.”
“Let me get my laptop set up here.” Sean then pulls up the first photo.

“Oh, this is a fun one. That was from Halloween a couple years ago. One of my besties from med school and I were headed to a costume party. I was an angel and he was a devil. He wouldn’t let us leave for the party until he saw who won the UCLA football game.”
“How about this one,” Sean asks, pulling up the next photo.

With the straightest of faces, she says cooly, “Surfing thirst trap.”
Sean laughs, “And what’s the story with this one?”

“Yoga thirst trap?” she pretends to guess as her cheeks turn pink.
Sean clicks on the next photo.

“I’m picking up on a theme here, Sean.”
“Me too. Thirst trap?” he asks.
“Yep.” She looks off camera and speaks to Ethan. “Remind me to make my account private when we get home.”
“Ok, last one,” Sean says, pulling up the final Pictagram photo.

“Not a thirst trap!” she defends. “My sisters and I were spending a few days together at a resort in San Diego. I had just checked the residency match portal and saw that I got matched to Edenbrook,” she smiles widely. “One of the best days of my life.”
<><><><><><><><><><>
“We are more than halfway through and moving on to our next sauce. But before we do, how are you feeling, Sawyer?”
“Like my sinuses have been evacuated, but let’s do this. I’m no quitter.”
“Alright then. Our next sauce is ‘Pain Is Good.”
“Well, it can’t be that bad. The guy on the label is making the ‘O’ face,” she jokes, making Sean bust out laughing. He picks up the bottle to take a closer look.
“I can’t believe no one has mentioned that before!” he calls out.
Sawyer trepidatiously picks up the next piece of chicken and gives it a sniff. Her eyes start to water as if she had just been cutting raw onions.
“Now in your line of work, you must deal with a lot of pain. Do you believe pain can be good?”
“Well obviously, the patients who are hurting would disagree, but for a doctor it’s extremely helpful when the patient can tell you exactly where it hurts. It’s so much easier to pinpoint possible causes. It’s often those silent and hidden ailments that make reaching a diagnosis a lot harder.”
“Ok, you ready for this one?”
“Nooooo… but no pain no gain, right?” She inhales a deep breath, “Here goes nothing.” Sawyer tears off a chunk of meat with her teeth. She winces, dramatically shakes her head back and forth, then reaches for a nearby glass of water. “Oh my god, that hurts so bad.”
Sean takes a big bite of his wing without so much as a flinch. “So unless they’ve been living under a rock, most people heard about the assassination attempt last year on Senator Ed Farrugia while he was a patient at your hospital. But what some people might not know is that you, Sawyer, were one of the senator’s doctors and you were one of the surviving victims of the chemical attack.”
Not able to speak more than a “Mmm, hmm” due to the heat ravaging her mouth, Sean continued.
“In other interviews you’ve talked about what happened that day and how your coworkers synthesized a cure overnight. But what I’m really curious about is what it feels like to be poisoned like that? Were you in a lot of pain?”
“You know it’s funny, I’m such a wimp when it comes to spicy foods, and I thought coming into this that I would have tapped out after sauce number three. But now that you mention the attack, I can say this isn’t nearly as bad as that experience. After inhaling the maitotoxin, my nose, throat and eyes burned so badly. The chemicals settled on our skin. There was this oily sheen that wouldn’t come off and after a while it felt like a bad sunburn and became really itchy. And just like now, I had to keep reminding myself not to touch my face and make things worse.”
Sawyer wipes her hands on her napkin. “I’m honestly surprised I’ve made it this far without rubbing hot pepper sauce in my eyes. It’s seriously become a joke in my family that if there’s chili flake or super glue around, somehow it will end up in my eye.”
<><><><><><><><><><>
SAUCE #9
“This is the second to last sauce. It’s called Scorpion Disco.”
“Okaaay,” her voice quivers.
“I picked this one because you grew up in the Southwest, right? You split your time between Arizona and California.”
“Uh huh,” she whimpers, still trying to recover from the previous attack on her mouth.
“Scorpions are pretty common in Arizona. Have you ever been stung?”
“Thankfully, n-no. But I d-do have a funny s-story about that,” she stutters.
She gargles some milk before continuing.
“One night I woke up to my mom shouting to my dad, ‘It’s moving up the wall, get it!.’ And I knew immediately it was a scorpion.”
Sawyer throws her head back and blinks her eyes several times before continuing.
“We had just moved into a new home and the new construction in the neighborhood displaced all the creepy crawlies from the desert. We were always finding scorpions, tarantulas, and rattlesnakes around the house.”
She takes another swig of milk.
“Anyway, just minutes after I heard my mom yelling about the scorpion, I felt something crawling up my leg. I just laid there paralyzed, afraid if I moved that I’d get stung. I tried to whisper-scream to my parents, but they didn’t hear me. After what seemed like hours, I finally worked it out in my head that it was the lesser of two evils to just allow myself to get stung than to lay still like that all night. So, I finally flipped my sheets off and looked down. It turned out to be just a big, gross cricket.”
“Ready to get stung now?”
“My answer is the same as the last 8 times you’ve asked… nooooo,” disdain tainting her voice.
“On three… 1… 2… 3,” Sean takes a bite while Sawyer licks the side of the wing.
“God dammit!” she yells, throwing the wing down on the table and reaching for the milk. She chugs it down as if her throat is literally on fire.
“You’ve been in Boston for a couple years now. How have you adjusted to East Coast life?”
“Oh s-sweet baby Jesus… um, aside f-from the cold and s-snow,” her voice was getting hoarse. “I have fallen in l-love in Boston… I mean w-with Boston,” recovering her words as she also tries to recover her senses.
Ethan can’t help the smile on his face catching her first word choice. They haven’t said those three words to each other yet, but her slip of the tongue was a comforting validation.
“Let’s play a little ‘this or that’ and see which coast wins out. Tacos or lobster roll?”
“Ta..cos,” she gags.
“Flip flops or deck shoes?”
She pounds her fists on the table repeatedly. “Flipping a…,” she bites her bottom lip.
“I’ll take that as flip-flops. Earthquake or hurricane?”
“H-hurricane… more w-warning,” she forces out.
“Tina Fey or Emma Stone?”
“Tie. Ow, ow, ow, ow,” Sawyer cries, blowing her nose into a clean napkin. Fresh tears start to fall from the corners of her eyes.
As she moves her fingers to swipe them away, she hears Ethan shout “Don’t touch your eyes!” But it was already too late.
“Ah, shit,” she whispers as she pinches her eyes closed as tight as possible.
<><><><><><><><><><>
SAUCE #10
“This is the ‘Last Dab.’ We call it the last dab because it's a tradition around here to put a little extra on the last wing.”
“Are you insane?!”
“You don’t have to do it if you don’t want to…”
She looks for and pleads to Ethan. “Baby, please be ready to resuscitate me… because I’m about to die.”
Sean and Sawyer each pick up the final wing. After a short staredown and knowing glance, they both take their final bites.
“Uh uh, uh uh, uh uh,” she mutters, sweeping the napkin into her mouth to scrape the offensive substance from her tongue.
“Alright, Dr. Sawyer Brooks, here we are at the finish line. Ten chicken wings up and ten chicken wings down. You did so good!” he and the crew clap. “Any chance we changed your opinion about wings?”
“H-hate them, hate them even m-more,” she sobs.
Sean laughs heartily. “Sawyer, thank you for being a good sport. We’ve got a gallon of milk over here to help cool you down.”
“Yesssss, please,” she begs.
“Your friend told me during the last break that if I crack a joke while you’re drinking, there's a 90% chance you’ll snort it out through your nose.”
After taking a big gulp and placing her mug down, she chokes out, “Oh, he did, did he?”

She finds and makes eye contact with Ethan who has stepped a little closer to the stage.
“What? It might help soothe the burn in your nostrils,” Ethan responds from next to one of the cameras.
“Mmm, hmm. Well, for calling me out like that, I’m going to dab this Satan sauce on my tongue and come over there and kiss you senseless.”

Tooru Oikawa x F!Reader ( part 11 )

❝ my love for him is much like winter, a skeleton for the world to see. too bad he never liked the cold. ❞
description: being the neighbor and lifelong best friend of tooru oikawa definitely had it’s perks. you were never an outcast, always had a seat at lunch, got into volleyball games for free. the problem was, however, that being in love with him outweighed those perks. you would never tell him that, though, even if it hurt like hell.
genre: best friends to lovers, angst, unrequited love, fluff if you squint hard enough
word count: 2,611
warnings/notes: the next part is the final part. i feel weird that it’s coming to an end! anyway, i hope you all enjoy. i do want to put a small warning because there is mention of a “crash” in this, but it is only a small part and not anything crazy. love you all! <3

You had been spending a lot of time alone, again. To sort your thoughts, to avoid seeing Oikawa for the rest of the weekend, you didn’t know. Either way, you were laying in bed and contemplating how askew your life (your love life in particular) had become.
It never was this complicated before.
In fact, it still wasn’t very complicated.
You had been in love with Tooru Oikawa for as long as you could remember. And apparently, he loved you too. The problem was, he was being a dick. And he hadn’t even realized this “love” until very recently, if the man even knew what it felt like to be in love.
The answer should be incredibly easy: tell him you love him and be together. Because at the end of the day, he was the one you wanted.
Kuroo called you just then.
“Hello, hoodie.” He greeted through the phone. “I know you said you wanted some time to yourself today, but I’m bored.”
“Hello, Tetsurou Kuroo.”
“You sound sad.”
“Oh, you know, just another midlife crisis.” You told him. You didn’t even have the phone in your hand, the device on speaker laying beside your pillow.
“Midlife crisis? Aren’t you a bit young for those?”
“You don’t know how old I’ll be.”
He chuckled. It was short-lived, though, his tone turning serious. “Do you want to talk about it? Meet at the hill?”
“You actually want to listen to me rant about Oikawa?”
“Sure, why not? I told you that I was bored.” A movement behind the microphone. “I’m making sandwiches! Meet you there in 20.”

The hill was beautiful even in the daytime. The city life hectic and full of car horns and chatter below, yet it was quiet there. When you arrived, Kuroo was waiting on a blanket with a plastic bag of sandwiches.
“Now that I have the guest of honor,” He moved over so you could join him. “Tell me everything.”
And you did. You told him about how you have loved the volleyball captain, how you were going to tell him but somehow ended up finding out your best friend was gay, how Oikawa dated Sana, how Sana is cool as hell, how Oikawa had ignored you and broke every tradition and completely threw you off, how you got humiliated by said captain and then kissed by him, how you got drunk and made out, and you even told him how you met someone else who had saved you from drowning yourself multiple times, how confused you were.
Kuroo didn’t interrupt, didn’t ask questions. He just sat and listened until you were done. He gave you subtle nods of understanding during it, but that was more for your sake so you knew he was listening.
Once you finished, Kuroo finally asked a question.
“Okay, I think that there’s only one question I can ask.” He turned to you, eyes gleaming in the sun. “Is it really that complicated, or are you trying to make it complicated because you’re scared that actually going through with your feelings would change things even more?”
For that, you didn’t have an answer. You just stared at him, eyes staring into his as though he knew the answer you were searching for. Which he did.
“Kiss me.” Kuroo said suddenly.
Your eyes widened in confusion. You spluttered, “I don’t… why would I… what..”
“It’s for science.” He said, not once moving an inch from his spot.
You scoffed. “For science.”
“If you kiss me and feel either nothing or guilty, it means you want Oikawa and I was right.” Kuroo spoke as if he was giving a presentation and not literally asking you to kiss him. “If you kiss me and you like it and I’m a better kisser than Oikawa, looks like you have obtained a new and extremely good looking boyfriend.”
“You’re ridiculous.” You didn’t move from your spot, either. “I just. I don’t want to kiss you and leave you hanging or like… lead you on? I know that…”
“Babe, I’m literally asking you to kiss me.”
“I know but…”
“Seriously I’m not going to be mad or expect you to…”
You kissed him. You leaned forward and pressed your lips to his. He was sitting cross-legged, and you had put your hands on his knees to give you that extra height to reach him. It only took him a second of surprise before he kissed you back, hands immediately going into your hair and on your neck.
His lips were soft, softer than Oikawa’s. Kuroo was soft in general, his kisses small and many instead of long and passionate. His hands were hovering over your jaw when Oikawa’s were everywhere he was offered.
You were comparing him to Oikawa. You were the one who pulled back.
A breath of air. Your stomach churned.
“…So?” Kuroo asked, chest visibly showing his beating heart. “What did you think?”
“I think you’re a good kisser.” You smiled. “But…”
“But you feel bad?”
“No it’s not that.” You stayed beside him, looking at his hands in yours. You played with his fingers. “I was comparing. Like it was a competition.”
“Comparing me to Oikawa?” Kuroo nodded, thinking. He looked back to you, smile plastered on his lips. “Who’s better?”
“Don’t ask me that!” you threw his hands back into his lap.
“Oh, c’mon. I need to know.”
“Too different.” Was your only explanation.
“Can I tell my friend that you said I was better? He would literally pee himself in happiness.”
“Fine.”

Suzuki Sana arrived at Oikawa’s house that day. It was a quick visit, to give him back some things and get back a couple of things she had left at his. They may not have dated for long, but they had done… a lot. Even before.
“Sorry for bringing you into all of this.” Oikawa told her.
“I’m sorry for being your first girlfriend when your first girlfriend should’ve been the girl next door.” Sana replied.

The friendship between Tooru Oikawa and Hajime Iwaizumi was never complicated, at least between them. Oikawa was the flirty, arrogant, leader and Iwaizumi was the one who brought him back to earth when his head got too inflated. It had always been that way.
Even back when they were kids, just throwing around volleyballs and running around on the playground Iwaizumi was always the one.
When Iwaizumi first met him, Oikawa was standing on the playground’s monkey bars claiming to be the King of the Playground. Iwaizumi told him that he wasn’t and to let the other kids play. To which, young Oikawa replied “There is a princess in need of saving! Help me save her, Jester!”
The princess being you.
You sat in the circle tower on the playground by the slide, pretending to beg for help. Oikawa only left the monkey bars to come “save” you, bringing you down the slide with him. Iwaizumi was at his side, actually laughing when they all got stuck in the middle of the slide and having to scoot the rest of the way with their feet.
“What is your name, Jester?” Oikawa asked.
“Hajime Iwaizumi!”
“Iwa, you are now our friend!” Oikawa introduced you to him.
That was the start of it all, for the most part. After that, the three of you were inseparable, your parents easily greeting Iwaizumi’s into their Adult Friend Group. There were play dates, birthday parties, summer trips, long volleyball tournaments, all together. They say, “two’s company, and three’s a crowd”, but the three of you made nearly a perfect unit together.
Things were different now, full of weird unsolved emotions and secrets that are no longer secrets. And Iwaizumi was so tired.
“Hey, Oikawa.” Iwaizumi said during the end of practice. They had stayed back, practicing a little more just the two of them.
“Whoa, you called me my actual name.” Oikawa replied, grabbing the next ball from the basket. “What’s up?”
“Are you actually in love with her or did you just say that to make her feel better?” He paused. “Or to make yourself feel better?”
Oikawa froze in his spot, ball empty in his hand. His voice was the smallest Iwaizumi had ever heard it. “Why would you ask me that?”
“Because she’s been in love with you for forever, and you have never been in love before.” Iwaizumi said simply, shrugging. “I don’t want to see her hurt anymore.”
“Iwa.”
“Listen, all that I’m asking is do you actually love her?”
“Yes.” It was a fast response, quick and final. “I didn’t know it before, but I know I am now. I heard that she cried over me and I felt like digging my own grave. Whenever she smiles at me from the bleachers at the games, or when she fixes my tie, it makes me want to giggle like a little schoolgirl. I know you’re worried, I know that. But I’m trying to fix things. I’m trying to make up for a lot of lost time I didn’t even realize I was missing.”
Oikawa looked back to the ball. “She hasn’t told me herself that she’s in love with me too. I fucked things up, I took out frustration and confusion out on her that I shouldn’t have. I’m waiting for her to come to me first.”
“Okay.” Iwaizumi grabbed his own ball. “Okay, okay. I needed to know, to be sure.”
“I know.”

You went on a walk with Kuroo through the city streets after the picnic. He put the empty bag and blanket into his backpack, taking your hand to help you up. It was a beautiful day.
“You should come to the tournaments this Wednesday.” Kuroo said. “Nekoma is versing Seijoh, you get to see me beat the love of your life’s ass.”
“I don’t know about that.” You joked, nudging him. “I’ll definitely be there. You can’t be mad if you see me cheering for both teams, though.”
“When she supports you.”
“Shut up.”
You walked for a bit more, taking the longest way home you could. You talked a lot, joked around and pointed out shops and restaurants to try. You even went by the Sakanoshita Store. Your favorite man wasn’t even working at the time.
It was nearly sunset when you ended at your doorstep. You suddenly had a realization that you were wearing his hoodie.
“Oh, shit.” You started to bring your arms through. “Do you want your hoodies back? Now that you…”
“Babe, nothing has changed between us.” Kuroo shoved the red back onto you. “Friends before all else. And you get to keep the hoodies. As friends.”
“Friends before all else.”

As soon as you walked through the doors, your mom announced that your family would be eating BBQ with Oikawa’s as a “Family Sunday Fun Night” (her words, you cringed). Usually these dinners were planned, but sometimes your mom liked to “switch things up, keep things spontaneous” (also her words).
You tried not to be awkward around Oikawa, but it was a bit hard when he wouldn’t stop staring at you and not coming to you. His brother noticed, of course, because he notices everything.
“You two did something, didn’t you?” His brother asked from behind you.
“You would be the one to say something about it.” You felt him put his arm around your shoulders (it runs in the family, Oikawa’s mom does it too). “Is it that obvious?”
“It’s a little obvious to someone who knows.” He brought his head a little closer just in case. “Did he finally find out he loved you, too?”
“We kissed.” You confessed. “Multiple times.”
“Oh, even better. Next question: why aren’t you together?”
“I thought it was complicated.” You leaned closer to him. “It isn’t, though.”
“Send me the pinterest board for the wedding.” He said to you at the same time Takeru ran to him.
“Daddy!!” Takeru jumped into his arms. “Uncle told me to run over and ask what you guys are talking about.”
“Of course he did.” He took a step back and turned around, looking at you over his shoulder. You sent him a look as he went back into the house.

You had crashed into Iwaizumi’s house before. It was nothing crazy, just a kid on a four-wheeler for the first time.
Oikawa’s older brother had gotten two four-wheelers for his birthday and gave you and Oikawa a (very brief) run down on how to drive it before sending you both off in them. The four-wheelers only went so fast, and it was very easy to start and brake, it was made for kids of course.
However, you happened to get the one that didn’t run the best. The brakes didn’t work as well as they should’ve.
So, as you tried to catch up to Oikawa (who just drove full speed into Iwaizumi’s backyard to show off), you couldn’t stop in time and crashed right into their gutter that drained the water from the roof.
Iwaizumi’s parents rushed out, promising you that it was perfectly fine and not to worry about it. But you were on the ground, covered in mud.
Oikawa was the one who rushed to your side like he was an active doctor, asking you if you were okay and telling you to stay awake like you were dying. He always was the dramatic one.
Sometimes, you can still see the small spot where you crashed into the corner of Iwaizumi’s house. Oikawa had always been your knight in shining armor, even if he was the one who got you into a majority of the messes you ended up in.

You sat in Oikawa’s room for the millionth time, feeling out of place as if it was the first time. Like you had to ask permission to breathe his air or look at his generic blue plaid bed comforters.
He noticed.
He patted the place beside him on the bed, and you obliged. The entire room smelled like him, overwhelming your senses. Oikawa always smelled like mint and flowers.
“I kissed Kuroo today.” You said. The first thing you’ve said to him since your little… movie night.
“Okay. You…kissed Kuroo today.” Oikawa repeated. He didn’t have any emotion in his voice but you knew him better than that. “I guess I can’t really say anything about that.”
You rolled your eyes, sending him a smile. You placed your hand on top of his, in his lap. He looked down at you.
“It wasn’t like that. Kissing Kuroo made me realize something.”
“Listen, if you want to date him I’m not going to blame you. I’ve literally come to your house in the middle of the night to escape some girl in my bed while you were in love with me and…”
“I’m going to stop you there, overthinker.” You focused on your hands, rubbing your thumb along a vein on his hand. “Now it’s you who’s saying that I was in love with you.”
“Hm?” He was lost.
You looked up at him again. “You used past tense. As I was going to say, kissing Kuroo made everything very clear for me and I realized that I haven’t told you something that I really should’ve told you years ago.”
“Oh god, it’s happening.”
“I’m in love with you.”
“Well, that’s fortunate.” Oikawa sighed, bringing his hands to your face and tracing the outline of your lips with his thumb. “Because I happen to be in love with you, too.”

Exchange - Miya Atsumu & Osamu SMAU
ROUTE: OSAMU
not a random girl

smau masterlist / masterlist / previous
a/n: welcome to the emotional rollercoaster and the pep talk I always give myself ✌🏼

Starring at your messages you reread your last conversation with him, tears streaming down your face.
How could you be so blind? So stupid? How could you actually believe he’d choose you over her?
The whole week there was neither a call or message from him. He wasn’t at one of his classes too.
Your friends asked if you knew where he was, but as petty as you are - you just shrugged. You didn’t dare to tell them what you saw, you didn’t want it to be true. Because... there is no way he‘d switch you for some random girl. Osamu isn’t that type of man, he wasn’t a player.
So you kept up a smile on your face - it’s Osamu, you kept on reminding yourself, he would never just forget you.
The smile was up for about three days, until Atsumu grabbed your arm and dragged you out of the campus after your classes.
“Atsumu? - What are you doing?” You ask him confused. The two of you haven’t talked that much the past days, it still hurt him, knowing that you’ll never be his. But now? After he saw her again - he knew the tables have turned and now he has to put his emotions aside and focus on being your friend.
Atsumu didn’t answer you, instead he kept on dragging you away, away from other people until he stopped at a bench, away from all the others.
He sits down and pats the spot next to him, signaling you to sit down.
He stayed silent. Was he really going to be the one again to break your heart?
“So... you see... uhm-“ he stutters. How should he tell you?
“Yes?” You ask him, actually confused of what is up with him.
“There’s this girl..”
Oh.
“I saw them.” You tell him, the memories from that day coming back all at once.
“Oh. Uhm... “ he again, doesn’t know what to say.
“Who is she? Please Atsumu be honest now.” You say and look directly at him.
“Her name is Emma. We know her since we’ve been children. The three of us have been inseparable. We did everything together, shared all of our secrets, had sleepovers almost every day you name it. But her and Osamu... they always had a special connection. So at some point - they realized that it was love and they got into a relationship with their ... what did she call him ... oh - their other half. For real we all thought they’d marry right after Highschool...” he mumbles the last part and stares at the ground. You don’t say anything, your throat being so tight it already hurts to breath.
“But then... out of nowhere she and her family moved away. Osamu was heartbroken - I’ve never seen him that sad before. Even though they tried to make it work... but eventually they realized there was no way they can still be in that relationship and be happy. They needed each other yes. But they really needed each other ... like ... in a physical way, I swear there was no second they haven’t had their hands on each other. It was disgusting honestly. And I was so jealous, jealous of him finding the one.”, he sighs, “ They we’re sure it was meant to be. To be honest we all knew it was. So they made a promise. And that promise helped Osamu through that time. They promised to wait until they meet again.“
“And what happens then?” You choke out.
Atsumu looks at you, hesitating to answer you.
“Atsumu. Please.” You whisper.
“Originally they planned to get back together and continue what they had...” he mumbles.
The hope you had, is now completely gone.
You saw the way he looked at her.
Non of his feelings flew away over time.
Not in the slightest.
Getting up you started walking, Atsumu hurried behind you, trying to catch up. “No.” You whisper as he catches up with you.
“But Y/n.” He begs, yet you shake your head. You just wanted to be alone now.
That night you cried yourself to sleep again, ignoring all the knocks on your door and calls and messages from your favorite chaotic trio you, also known as your roommates.
Then after two weeks of having no contact to Osamu, he messaged you.
Only nine words.
Nine words were needed to fully destroy your heart.
She wasn't a random girl and you’re now fully aware of it.
“I am so sorry, but I still love her.”
So why are so stupid? You could have imagine something like that happening. It was only a matter of time until he realized just how fucked up you really been and how much better he can do. You really hoped that with his help, you can get over everything that happened and to be able to trust again. yet you’ve made the same mistake as always. You linked your own happiness and well-being to a guy.
Leaving your phone in your room, you walk downstairs, your blanket. Still wrapped around you. Your vision is blurry - it’s a wonder how you’ve managed to walk down the stairs without slipping.
The second Bokuto hears you walking down the stairs he jumps up and hurries over to you. Kuroo is already in the kitchen preparing a tea and Kenma is lining up all the snacks they’ve brought just for this moment.
As soon as you reach the end of the stairs, two strong arms pick you up bridal style and carry you over to the sofa. With you still in his arms, Bokuto sits down and nuzzles his face in you hair. Kenma sits down and places his hand on your knee: “Y/N... you’re ready now?” He asks softly and looks at you with his big eyes.
“The tea IS ready” Kuroo says and holds a big cup in front of your face.
“I don’t want any...” you mumble.
“Yes you do! This is a special tea I remember my mum making me whenever I felt sad.” He huffs and with a sigh, you take the cup out of his hands. Carefully you take a small sip of the still hot tea. You can’t make out the ingredients, yet you’re immediately filled with a warm feeling that feel like home.
“Thank you Kuroo...” you mumble and a small smile form on your lips. Kuroo simply pats your head and sits down on a cushion in front of the three of you.
They all look at you with expecting eyes.
You open your mouth and close it again. Taking a sip of the tea you try to speak up again, but you just can’t find the right words. Everything you think of feels wrong. It feels so wrong to sit here again and cry over the almost same guy again.
It was stupid of you to assume that after you’ve chosen him, he’d also choose you. And now you’re crying again? Because in your head it was save to say that he’d only choose you too. So you’re really sitting here crying over something you kind of just made up in your mind? No. Your friends always give you support and you keep on coming back crying over a man. Hell when have you become that kind of girl? The twins really fucked you up. You were independent. You haven’t linked your happiness to having a boyfriend. Open your eyes Y/n. You’re surrounded by three amazing friends, who immediately drop everything they’re doing when you need them. Who are down to fight their own friends, just because they made you cry. You managed to go to this college and full fill your dream.
Isn’t this enough?
Isn’t this enough to be happy?
You open your arms and pull Kenna and Bokuto in a hug, while Kuroo smiles and gets up, wrapping his arms around you three.
“I love you all so soo much. I’m sorry for not really being a good friend, while you been the best friends someone could wish for.” Small tears roll down your cheeks and you feel Kuroo’s soft lips kissing your forehead.
“That’s what friends are for.” Bokuto says.
“I promise you’ll be the only guys I focus on from now on.” You laugh.
“ I’m glade Y/n... but can you all let go of me now?” Kenna asks and desperately tries to wiggle out of yours and Kuroo’s grip.
“Kenna! Stop ruining the moment!!!” Kuroo exclaims and only tightens his grip.
You laugh happily and feel your heart lightening.
Yes. This is enough to be happy.
-Meanwhile at Osamu’s shop-
“Emma?” Osamu asks annoyed.
“Yes Osaaa~” Emma looks at him innocently.
“Why do you have my phone?”
“Oh sorry, my internet wasn’t working working and I needed to look something up.” She says and quickly deletes the last messaged sent to Y/n.
“Ahh... you know I have WiFi here?” He says and rolls his eyes.

History of Multan
Multan was ruled by various Hindu and Buddhist empires for over 1000 years. It was the capital of ancient Trigarta Kingdom at the time of Mahabharta and ruled by Katoch Clan Kshatriya Rajputs. It is believed to have been visited by Alexander the Great. It is said that when Alexander was fighting for the city, a poisoned arrow struck him, making him ill and eventually leading to his death. The exact place where Alexander was hit by the arrow can be seen in the old city premises. It is believed to be the same city as "Maii-us-than", where Alexander's forces stormed the citadel after seeing their king injured and unconscious on the field of battle. Multan was part of the Mauryan and the Gupta empires that ruled much of northern India. In the mid-5th century, the city was attacked by a group of nomads led by Toramana. These nomads were successful in taking the city, but did not stay, and the long-standing Hindu rule over the city was re-established. The noted Chinese traveller Huen Tsang visited Multan in 641.
During the Pre-Islamic period, Multan was known as the city of gold for its large and wealthy temples. The Sun temple, Suraj Mandir, was considered one of the largest and wealthiest temples in the entire sub-continent. Numerous historians have written about this extremely large Hindu temple that housed over 6,000 people within it. Other famous sites included the Suraj Kund ("pool of the Sun") and Temple of Prahladapuri. Story of Prahlada from whom the temple took its name is interesting.
Prahlada was the son of King Hiranyakashipu. Hiranyakashipu held sway over this country and condemned the gods and forbade the paying of homage in their name. Prahlada was recognized as being a very devoted follower of Vishnu, much to his father's disappointment. As Prahlada grows in age, his father Hiranyakashipu becomes upset at his devotion to Vishnu, who he sees as his mortal enemy. Eventually his anger leads him to attempt to kill the boy Prahlada in many ways, but each time Prahlada is protected by Vishnu's mystical power. Finally in disgust Hiranyakashipu points to a particular pillar and asks if his Vishnu is in it? Prahlada answers "He is". Hiranyakashipu, unable to control his anger, smashes the pillar with his mace, it burst in two and out sprang the god Vishnu in the form of a man-lion form called Narasimha Avatar who laid the King across his knees and ripped his stomach open with his claws. A temple devoted to Narasimha Avatar of Vishnu is built. The temple of Prahladpuri Temple is situated close to the shrine of Bahawal Huk. Currently its roof and surrounding building have been damaged but the pillar is no more. The Idol was shifted from temple to a new place near old fruit market. Now it has been relocated at Haridwar, where it was brought in 1947 by Narayan Das Baba.
Early Muslim era
In the 7th century, Multan had its first experience with Muslim armies. Armies led by Al Muhallab ibn Abi Suffrah launched numerous raids from Persia into India in 664 for inclusion of the area into their empires. In the same year Abdool Ruhman Bin Shimur, another Arab Ameer of distinction, marched from Merv to Kabul, where he made converts of upwards of twelve thousand persons. At the same time, also Mohalib Bin Aby-Suffra, proceeding with a detachment from thence, in the direction of India, penetrated as far as Multan: when having plundered the country, he returned to the headquarters of the army at Khorassan, bringing with him many prisoners, who were compelled to become converts to the faith.
However, only a few decades later, Muhammad bin Qasim would come on behalf of the Arabs, and take Multan along with Sindh. His conquest was accompanied by much plundering: He then crossed the Biyas, and went towards Multan. Muhammad Bin Qasim destroyed the water-course; upon which the inhabitants, oppressed with thirst, surrendered at discretion. He massacred the men capable of bearing arms, but the children were taken captive, as well as ministers of the temple, to the number of 6,000. The Muslims found there much gold in a chamber ten cubits long by eight broad.
Following bin Qasim's conquest, the city was securely under Muslim rule, although it was in effect an independent state, but around the start of the 11th century, the city was attacked twice by Mahmud of Ghazni who destroyed the Sun Temple and broke its giant Idol. A graphic detail is available in Al-Biruni's writings:
A famous idol of theirs was that of Multan, dedicated to the sun, and therefore called Aditya. It was of wood and covered with red Cordovan leather; in its two eyes were two red rubies. It is said to have been made in the last Kritayuga. When Muhammad Ibn Alkasim Ibn Almunaibh conquered Multan, he inquired how the town had become so very flourishing and so many treasures had there been accumulated, and then he found out that this idol was the cause, for there came pilgrims from all sides to visit it. Therefore, he thought it best to have the idol where it was, but he hung a piece of cow's flesh on its neck by way of mockery. On the same place a mosque was built. When the Karmatians occupied Multan, Jalam Ibn Shaiban, the usurper, broke the idol into pieces and killed its priests.
Ismailis
In 965, Multan was conquered by Halam bin Shayban, an Ismaili da’i. Soon after, Multan was attacked by the Ghaznavids, destabilizing the Ismaili state. Mahmud of Ghazna invaded Multan in 1005, conducting a series of campaigns during which some Ismailis were massacred while most later converted to Sunni Hanafi fiqh.
In an effort to gain his allegiance, the Fatimid Ismaili Imam-caliph al-Hakim dispatched an envoy to Sultan Mahmud Ghaznavi two years later. This attempt appeared to be unsuccessful and the Ghaznawids continued to attack other Ismaili strongholds in Sindh to suppress any resurgence of the community in the region. In 1032, Mahmud’s very own vizier, Hasanak was executed for having accepted a cloak from the Imam-caliph on suspicions that he had become an adherent of the Ismaili fiqh.
Mahmud’s purges of the region led several scholars including Stern to believe that the Ghaznawid purges of the region drove out Ismailism from the area, however, recently-discovered letters dating to 1083 and 1088 demonstrate continued Ismaili activity in the region, as the Imam-caliph Mustansir dispatched new da’is to replace those who were killed in the attacks. Like his predecessor, Mahmud of Ghazni, Muhammad of Ghor first took, in 1178, the Ismaili Multan sultans in northern Sindh, which had regained independence from Ghaznavid rule. Muhammad Ghori as a part of his campaigns to conquer north India, again massacred them.
After Sultan Muhammad Ghori's victories in India, and his establishment of a capital in Delhi, Multan was made a part of his empire. However, the rise of the Mongols would again give it some independence, albeit requiring it to be vigilant against Mongol raids from Central Asia. The Qarmatians came to Multan in the 10th century and were expelled in 1175 by Sultan Muhammad Ghori.
Mughal era
Under the Mughal Empire, Multan enjoyed over 200 years of peace, and became known as Dar al-Aman (Abode of Peace). The Khakwani Nawabs of Multan gave it a lot of financial stability and growth to the local farming sector. It was at this time that Multan was ruled by Nawab Ali Mohammad Khan Khakwani. As governor of Multan, he built the famous Mosque Ali Mohammad Khan in 1757 which remains to this day. Many buildings were constructed in this time, and agricultural production grew rapidly. The Khakwani Nawabs of Multan at this time were paying homage to the Afghan king but due to lack of power in Delhi and Kabul they had free rein and were the de facto absolute rulers of Multan. Multan at that time included areas which are part of Vehari, Bahawalpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan districts. The city escaped the destruction brought upon India by the armies of Nadir Shah, but it was ruled from Kabul by numerous Afghan dynasties for a while. The Delhi Sultanate and later Mughal Empire ruled the region. The Multan region became predominantly Muslim due to missionary Sufi saints whose dargahs dot the landscape of Punjab region. After the decline of the Mughal Empire, the Maratha and Sikh invaded and occupied Multan. The Muslims faced severe restrictions during the Maratha and Sikh rule.
Maratha Empire
In 1758, the Maratha Empire's general Raghunathrao marched onwards, attacked and conquered Lahore and Attock and defeated Timur Shah Durrani, the son and viceroy of Ahmad Shah Abdali. Lahore, Multan, Kashmir and other subahs on the eastern side of Attock were under the Maratha rule for the most part. In Punjab and Kashmir, the Marathas were now major players.[8][9] Maratha general Bapuji Trimbak was given the charge of guarding Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan from Afghans. Maratha rule in Multan was short-lived as Durrani re-captured the city in November 1759.
British era
However, Sikh rule would not last long, as the British were eventually provoked into checking the Sikh strength in Punjab. After a long and bloody battle, Multan was made part of the British Raj. During this time, Sardar Karan Narain's son became an icon during the British Raj and was awarded titles 'Rai Bahadur' and Knighted 'Sir' by Her Majesty. The British built some rail routes to the city, but its industrial capacity was never fully developed.
Post-independence
The predominantly Muslim population supported Muslim League and Pakistan Movement. After the independence of Pakistan in 1947, the minority Hindus and Sikhs migrated to India while the Muslim refugees from India settled in the Multan. It initially lacked industry, hospitals and universities. Since then, there has been some industrial growth, and the city's population is continually growing. Today, it is one of the country's largest urban centres and remains an important settlement in the Southern Punjab.

This Changes Everything: How AI Is Transforming Digital Marketing
Will artificial intelligence (AI) put marketers out of work? It’s a question I’m seeing a lot lately, and to me, it’s a strange one. It’s like if everyone 150 years ago was asking: “Will the tractor put farmers out of work?” Of course, John Deere didn’t put farmers out of business; better tools just made them more efficient and better able to scale. Granted, the tractor did reduce the demand for horses and farmhands. So, no, AI will not put you out of work…as long as your work is creative, innovative and intelligent. If all of your daily work can be done by a machine, eventually it will be. To be the farmer rather than the horse, you need to understand what AI can do to augment and scale your efforts, not replace them. Here’s what AI can do to improve your digital marketing efforts right now.
#1: Artificial Intelligence and SEO
If there’s one area of digital marketing that is most affected by AI right now, it’s SEO. Machine learning is directly affecting site visibility right now, and its influence will only increase in the future. A machine learning algorithm called RankBrain (link to Backlinko’s incredibly useful guide) is currently Google’s third most important ranking signal. In the past, Google’s developers monitored search results and tweaked algorithms to better suit search needs. SEO experts then tried to reverse-engineer each algorithm change to better position their content. With RankBrain in the driver’s seat, though, no human being will know why content is ranked up or down. The algorithm will continuously be testing and refining settings based on user behavior. This switch means some traditional SEO activities, like keyword lists and backlinks, will decline in importance. The ranking signals that will matter most will be those related to user activity:
Time on page
Bounce rate
Pogo sticking
Scroll depth
Any indicator that shows how a user found your content valuable is now an SEO indicator. SEO experts and content creators will need to work more closely together to ensure content meets a specific search need, addresses a specific audience, and is compelling to read. That’s not to say technical SEO is dead, but it is evolving. SEO experts should focus on structuring data, applying schema, implementing AMP, and optimizing for voice search. What do these tasks have in common? They’re all candidates for automation. SEO experts of the future will be feeding data into their own AI and using it to apply these ranking factors to content at scale. [bctt tweet="#SEO experts of the future will be feeding data into their own #AI & using it to apply ranking factors to content at scale. - @NiteWrites" username="toprank"]
#2: Artificial Intelligence and Chatbots
Chatbots are AI-driven programs that interact with users in a natural-language environment. These programs are rapidly becoming a major area of interest for marketers, as an increasing amount of social media traffic takes place on private messaging services like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Buffer’s annual social media report found that there are more people on the top four messaging apps than on the top four social media apps (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn). That’s an engagement opportunity that’s hard to ignore. And, of course, chatbots can live on your brand’s homepage, answering questions and providing support. Most digital marketers see chatbots as a way to provide personalized customer service at scale – which is tangentially related to marketing, but not directly a marketing function. However, chatbots can also help guide users through a customer journey to a sale. A lot of the chatter (no pun intended) around chatbots is how to make them indistinguishable from interacting with a human. Marketers seem to care a great deal about this issue, but I would argue customers don’t. Customers want their questions to be understood and quickly answered; it doesn’t matter if it’s Robby the Robot or Robby the Call Center Rep who has the answers. Marketers can make use of chatbots themselves, too. There are a growing number of smart assistants available that can aggregate and report on data in real-time, through Slack and other private messaging services. [bctt tweet="Customers want their questions to be understood and quickly answered; it doesn’t matter if it’s Robby the Robot or Robby the Call Center Rep who has the answers. - @NiteWrites on #AI in #DigitalMarketing" username="toprank"]
#3: Artificial Intelligence and Content Marketing
If you’re a content creator, talking about AI and content marketing likely makes you feel the cold fingers of obsolescence tighten around your throat. Gartner says by the end of the year, 20% of business content will be authored by machines. AI is already being used for everything from white papers to earning reports. It’s enough to make you feel like a horse watching the farmer start up his tractor. Should you be worried about your job? Neigh. For one, AI right now isn’t quite ready to draft content with personality and a strong hook for the reader. Since SEO is increasingly about the reader’s experience, that means human-crafted content will win out for the foreseeable future. And even when AI can write convincingly like a human, it will still need creative input from humans. So think like a farmer: Use AI to take care of repetitive, mindless tasks like metadata tagging and adding recommended content to blog posts. And use it to deliver personalized content at scale. AI can use data from your site’s visitors to dynamically customize and display the content you create. As the content creator, part of your new AI-enhanced job will be to look at how your audience can be segmented by behavior, and draft modular content that the AI can put together based on user behavior. [bctt tweet="Marketers, think like a farmer: Use #AI to take care of repetitive, mindless tasks like metadata tagging & adding recommended content to blog posts. And use it to deliver personalized #content at scale. - @NiteWrites" username="toprank"]
#4: Artificial Intelligence and Email Marketing
Email marketing remains one of the most effective forms of marketing out there. Sixty-one percent of consumers enjoy receiving weekly promotional emails. Which may explain why email marketing has higher conversion rates than social media and search combined. AI is making email marketing even better, both for you and your customer. Personalization at scale is every marketer’s dream – and AI makes it possible. AI can use data to create personalized emails to every one of your subscribers, based on their previous interactions with the brand. It can customize based on what content they’ve consumed, what’s on their wish list, what pages they have spent the most time on, and more. For example, if one user always visits links to product pages in your email, but another skips those links and goes straight for content, the AI can send different messaging with the most relevant links for each user. AI is also making drip campaigns more sophisticated. Instead of one or two triggers and a few customized emails, you can use “If/Then” statements to customize emails for dozens of different triggers. Rather than, “send an email in two weeks,” or “send another if they opened the last one,” you could say, “if they visited three product pages, send an email with a link to a related blog post and recommended products other people have purchased.” [bctt tweet="When it comes to #EmailMarketing, personalization at scale is every marketer’s dream & #AI makes it possible. - @NiteWrites" username="toprank"]
#5: Artificial Intelligence Influencers to Follow
As AI continues to evolve, one thing’s for sure: None of us know as much about it as we should (myself included). These four influencers are among the select few who really have a handle on AI’s potential to transform marketing. 1. Chris Penn, VP of Marketing Technology, SHIFT Communications Chris is a futurist, a keynote speaker, and AI visionary. His presentation at Content Marketing World last year alternately energized and scared the pants off me. Blog - LinkedIn - Twitter 2. Paul Roetzer, Founder, Marketing Artificial Intelligence Institute (MAII) Through the MAII, Paul aims to do for AI what Joe Pulizzi did for content marketing: Provide resources to educate people on how to use AI in marketing, and develop the standards to make AI a useful strategic tool. Blog - LinkedIn - Twitter 3. Magnus Unemyr, Marketing Automation & AI Consultant Magnus has turned out a ton of high-quality content on marketing automation and AI in the past few years. He publishes daily newsletters available through his blog and Twitter feed, and has written a series of books on e-commerce and online marketing. Blog - LinkedIn - Twitter
I, for One, Welcome Our New Robot Overlords
Will AI put marketers out of a job? Not if you think like a farmer with a shiny new tractor. It’s a tool, not a replacement – a multi-use tool that will eliminate drudgework and help you reach your audience more easily and with more compelling, personalized content. The rise of AI in marketing is one of the top trends in 2018. Find out what other digital marketing trends deserve your attention in 2018 and into the future.

You skipped school for a week. It was a full week of heartache; most of which included the following: watching new shows (and finishing them), being brought food by your very understanding mother, crying, taking very long baths, wallowing in self-pity (which is something you tried not to do, but ended up doing anyway), crying until you were dehydrated, and ignoring texts and calls.
A new week was starting when your mom walked into your room, interrupting your daily “stare at the ceiling in sadness”. She sat on the end of your bed by your feet when she said, “It’s time for you to return to life.”
“What if I don’t want to?”
“Sweetheart, I get it.” She placed a hand on your ankle, trying to pull your attention to her. You kept your eyes on the ceiling. “Trust me, I do. But you can’t continue to isolate yourself from life. You have a beautiful, bright future in front of you. Exams are coming up, and your friends miss you.”
You sighed. “I guess I’ll go.”
“Good! Quite frankly, I’m tired of lying to your friends. Did you know that Iwaizumi resorted to texting me every day?” Your mom stood up, sending you a smile when you followed suit. “Clean your room. I’ll drive you to school tomorrow.”
You agreed, staring at the empty water bottles next to your bed.

Out of the hundreds of texts and missed calls, you decided to text Iwaizumi back first. He was the one who you’ve known the longest (other than the other boy you shall not name) and had helped you through your Love Problems.
you: hey. i’m ok. pls tell me that you’ll be at school tomorrow
iwa <3: fuck dude
iwa <3: you scared the shit out of me i deadass texted your fucking mom
iwa <3: i will be at school tomorrow the question is will you
you: yeah i’m coming. didn’t wanna be alone
iwa <3: you’ll never be alone darling

Despite everything telling you not to, you got up that Monday morning for school. You cleaned your room, you showered, you got a good night’s rest. You even ate breakfast. Yet, you still felt like… well, shit.
Your mother drove you to school, sending you a small smile and wave of encouragement like it was your first day of kindergarten and you were scared to go in. Truth was, you wanted to throw up all over the front doors and go straight back into your bedroom and watch another Gordon Ramsay compilation on youtube.
You sighed and went into Hell (hell being school). You tried to act as normal as possible but it was evident that everyone in the entire school hadn’t moved on from the whole thing, eyes staring at you and inaudible whispers.
“Great.” You mumbled to yourself, whipping your locker open.
It was at that moment that Tooru Oikawa made his appearance. He was walking next to Hanamaki, talking among themselves, when Oikawa stopped dead in his tracks. Hanamaki gave him a small pat on his back before leaving (and effectively leaving the awkward situation that would inevitably happen).
He opened his locker beside you.
“Hi!” He greeted, as though it was the most normal and casual thing ever. “You’re feeling better? Your mom said that…”
You didn’t acknowledge him, closing your locker and walking to class. Maybe you’ll find Iwaizumi before class…
“Whoa. Wait!” Oikawa was walking beside you then, easily catching up to you. “Did you get any of my texts?”
You spun on your heels, finally facing him after a week of being MIA and trying to forget your love for him. He swallowed and stared back at you.
“I don’t know what you want me to do.” You shrugged. “I told you that I needed time. And by that, I mean I need time away from you specifically. I’m not going to entertain the idea of pretending that nothing happened between us because it did.”
Oikawa blinked, nodding. “Okay, okay. Yes.” He purposefully took a step back, literally giving you space. “But can I ask one thing? Just one?”
“Go ahead.”
“For how long?” He asked. “How long do you think it’ll take for you to talk to me again?”
“I don’t know. Maybe when the school stops staring at me like a wounded puppy.”

“I’ve missed you!” Sana brought you into a hug, her boobs straight into your face. “I seriously thought that you dropped off of the face of the earth.”
You let a small smile creep onto your lips. The first smile in a while. “Sorry.”
“Don’t you dare apologize. What even happened?”
“That’s a story for later.”
She linked her arm with yours before walking with you to the library. Iwaizumi and Matsukawa sat at the usual table, heads in books like their life depended on it. It wasn’t until you were nearly next to them that they realized you were there. You hadn’t been able to see Iwaizumi all day.
“Oh my god, she’s really here.” Matsukawa exclaimed, a bit too loud for a library.
Iwaizumi got up from his seat (also very loudly, a squeak from the chair on the floor). He immediately pulled you into a hug, picking you up and putting his head into your shoulder.
“Shittykawa told me what happened.” He mumbled into your neck. You bit the inside of your lip and wrapped your arms around his waist. “I’m not going to ask if you’re okay, but I do want you to know that I know.”
“You always know.” You mumbled back.

Hajime Iwaizumi was walking with Issei Matsukawa when he caught Oikawa leaving your house. He knew immediately that something had happened, that something wasn’t quite right, because Oikawa had his head down. He never had his head down.
Iwaizumi turned to his boyfriend, telling him “I’ll be right back.” Matsukawa gave him a kiss on the wrist before letting him run off.
“Hey man,” Iwaizumi jogged to his best friend. Oikawa stopped, head still at his feet. “Hey. What’s up?”
“Nothing.”
“Oikawa.” Iwaizumi stood in front of him, cutting him off. “Don’t bullshit me. What’s going on? What happened?”
When Oikawa didn’t answer, Iwaizumi put his arms on his shoulders to bring his head up. Oikawa was red-faced, tears running down his cheeks. He was in pain.
“I, um.” Oikawa looked back and forth, never really meeting Iwaizumi’s eyes. “I told her that I’m in love with her. We kissed and I told her that I love her.”
“Oh?” That’s a good thing… right?
“She shut the door in my face. She said that she “thought that she was in love with me too”. And just shut the door.”
“Oh.”

“What if we got married?” Oikawa once asked you, a giggling child in the morning sun.
You both laid in your backyard, the grass long and bugs flew along your heads. You didn’t care. You giggled back to him.
“That’s gross! You have cooties!”
“Not if we’re married I don’t!” Oikawa stuck his tongue out at you.
“We’re too young to get married! We have to at least be old… like 20 years old!”
“Ew!”
You laid like that, giggling and laughing as kids, until your mom called you in for lunch. Oikawa ran to the door (“last one there is a rotten egg!”).

tetsurou kuroo :P: i heard that you’ve finally left the darkness and stepped back into regular life
tetsurou kuroo :P: hajime texted me sorry if that sounded like i’m stalking you.
tetsurou kuroo :P: unless you’re into that... then i’m totally stalking you...
tetsurou kuroo :P: PLS IM KIDDING anyway can i come over today. i have another hoodie for you.
you: you’re cute. i miss you too.

You walked home alone that night. After a while of isolation, human interaction actually seemed like a chore. You just wanted to be alone, even if it was just for a few minutes as you walk.
You heard walking behind you.
“You can walk next to me.” You said, knowing exactly who it was. “I know you don’t have practice on Mondays.”
Tooru Oikawa appeared next to you in only a few seconds, jumping at the offer. The roles were reversed now.
“I don’t want to overstep boundaries.” He said.
“I know.”
“I’m sorry, again. For kissing you.”
“I know.”
He stared at you instead of the sidewalk ahead. You kept your eyes on the sky.
“I’m sorry for telling you that I love you, too.”
“Don’t be sorry about that.” You stepped onto your porch where Kuroo stood, waiting for you. “That was the one thing you did right.”

Exchange - Miya Atsumu & Osamu SMAU

Karma pt. 3
PT 1 / PT 2 ; next
smau masterlist ; masterlist
warnings: NSFW, thigh riding
a/n: yes repost bc Tumblr is bitchy agaainnnnn

You told Bokuto that you and Osamu need to finish something for a class tomorrow. He wasn’t really buying it but oh well. How could you tell Osamu that you won’t come? Exactly you can not.
And that’s the reason why you’re standing in front of his apartment complex for the past 10 minutes. You feel bad for him. He was right with everything he said, you did used him only for comfort as soon as Atsumu ditched you. He has always been there for you, responding to your calls at 3am, coming over afterwards because he knew how miserable you felt, yet you took it for granted and jumped on his brother the second the chance came.
The door opens.
“You’ll get sick if you keep on standing here.” Osamu says and holds the door open for you to get inside. The ride on the elevator was quiet and awkward, non of you saying a word.
He closes the door to his apartment, his back is turned towards you as you finally menage to get out the world. “I’m so sorry Osamu. I don’t know what to say. I’m an miserable person and I truly don’t deserve you. I shouldn’t taken your action for granted and I shouldn’t play you like that. But..But I did.. and here I am not able to apologise properly, since I’m too ashamed of my actions…. Just tell me if there’s a way I can make it up to you.. I - I don’t want to loose you.” You whisper the last sentence.
After some horrible long seconds he chuckles. “You can’t loose what you never had angel.”
Tears run down your face, as the meaning of his words reach you.
“I’m not talking about myself. I talk about you. I had to realise that, even if I wished you were mine with all my heart.. you never were. At least not all of you. There was still a part of you that belongs to my brother.” He turns around and takes a few steps now hovering over you. His pulls down the collar of the T-shirt your wearing, fingers running over the marks his brother left on you. Shivers run down your spine simply by his touch and the way he looks at you.
“But tonight angel, let me show you that this part could also belong to me.” He looks directly into your (eye colour) eyes. “Only if you’re okay with it. If not I’ll drive you back home. It’s your choice.”
You part your lips to answer but you can’t form any words, so you just nod. “So you want me to drive you back..” He mumbles. “No.. No, Osamu I want to stay with you. Please.” You plead.
His eyes turn back to you, the colour around his iris darkens. He smirks. “Then let’s get rid of this.” His hands grab the hem of Atsumu’s shirts and he rips it apart, leaving you in your bra. He sighs, partly because of you are finally not wearing this shirt anymore, making it look as if you are his borther’s, yet also because of what he sees now. Your chest, neck and collarbone are covered in marks. You hear him growl right before he presses you against his kitchen counter, which was right next to you. He attacks your skin with his lips, sucking and biting on it, making even darker marks, which cover up the ones his brother left, making only is visible now.
His hands rest on your waits, body pressing against yours, he’s not as musical as his brother, yet you can’t deny the fact that he’s ripped and way stronger than you. As if he wants to showcase exactly the last point, he easily lifts you up on the counter. Your arms wrap around his neck as his lips find yours in a passionated kiss. Your lips move in sync, his hands on your lower back, pulling you closer to him, while your legs wrap around his hips. Your chest presses against his clothed one with every heavy breath you take.
All of sudden he lets go of you. He walks over to his couch, which was a few meters away and sits down. “You want to know how you can make it up?” He asks and you nod your head, already pressing your thighs together by the sudden change of his aura. “Then get rid of those-“ his hand gestures over your body, addressing the clothes your still wearing, “and make me feel good angel.”
______________________________
Your lips wrap around his cock, tongue flat against it as you mob your head up and down. His head falls back against the couch, eyes closed, a deep moan escapes his beautiful lips. One of his hands move to your head, softly grabbing your hair, pushing you deeper down on him. You gag and the vibrations of this make him curse out in pleasure. “Fuck Angel, i missed your beautiful mouth and the magic you do with it.” He moans, opening his eyes to admire the view in front of him. You’re on your knees, your lips swollen and red around his cock, some tears run down your left cheek as you try to take him deeper in. A few more minutes and he would cum, but he sees one of your hands wander down between your legs and he switches up his plan. He pushes your head off of him, you look up at him confused and slightly sad since you wanted him to cum by your actions. He pulls his jeans back on and pats his leg. “Sit down, angel” he smirks as you sees your eyes widen. “Don’t think I wont care about your … well being.”
Carefully you sit down on his thigh, the fabric of his jeans rubbing against your wet core. His hands grab your hips and he presses you against his flexed muscle. Your hands grab his shoulders as you start riding him. Leaning forward he starts nibbling on your jaw.
After he forces out a third orgasm, he flips you over and pulls down his pants again, you already took of his shirt during your first orgasm. He positions himself at your entrance. He looks at you asking for your permission in case you changed your mind. “Osa, just please fuck me already” You moan out annoyed. He chuckles and pushes himself into you still wet hole, which was still sore from your last night. You scream out in pleasure and pain as he buries himself deep inside of you. Without giving you some time to adjust to his large size, he already starts fucking you rough and fast. Your screams, which in the beginning are partly caused of pain, are now full of pleasure.
Your nails dig in his shoulders and captures your lips in a sloppy kiss. He puts one of your legs over his shoulder, deepening his thrusts.
“Scream my name angel, I want you to know that I can make you feel even better. I want to own every part of you.” He growls in your ear.
He flips you over, your pressed flat agains the couch. He pushes himself into you again, your eyes roll bak from the feeling of being full again. Skilfully he rolls his hips against you, being rewarded with your moans as he hits your sport ever time. He feel your walls tightening, your close to your fourth orgasm of the night, him being close to his first one. “Come for me angel, show me how good I make you feel. Tell me that I’m making you feel better than him.” He groans, soon after you feel the knot in your stomach realising itself and you scream out Osamu’s name and gab his hand, that’s rested next to your shoulder. Osamu buries his face in your neck as he lets out a long and deep moan and slams into you a few more time riding out both of your orgasms.
______________________________
“Angel?” Your eyes flutter open. “I let in a bath for you, come here I carry you over.” He gently moves his hands under your body, lifting you up bridal style.
The hot water relaxes your sore muscles and you sigh. “Come in with me?” You look up to him. He’s about to answer as the two of you hear some banning on the door. “I’ll be back in a few.” He smiles and walked out of the bathroom.
His smile drops as soon as you’re out of sight. He opens the door and finds his brother looking at him furiously.
“What.” Osamu simply asks. Atsumu’s eyes wander over the marks on his brothers chest. “Do you know where she is?” He asks yes showing worry, “ I kept on texting here but she didn’t responded, Bokuto just told me that she wanted to take walk after practice and.. Please I’m just worried that something happened to her.”
“Here. I wont let you play with her heart as you do with all the others.” Osamu throws the ripped shirt into his brothers face and closes the door.
Atsumu looks at the shirt and his hands start shaking.
Was he too late?
Was it too late for him to let his walls down?
Did he lose you?

Marketers seem to care a great deal about this issue, but I would argue customers don’t. Customers want their questions to be understood and quickly answered; it doesn’t matter if it’s Robby the Robot or Robby the Call Center Rep who has the answers. Marketers can make use of chatbots themselves, too. There are a growing number of smart assistants available that can aggregate and report on data in real-time, through Slack and other private messaging services.
Rather than, “send an email in two weeks,” or “send another if they opened the last one,” you could say, “if they visited three product pages, send an email with a link to a related blog post and recommended products other people have purchased.” [bctt tweet=”When it comes to #EmailMarketing, personalization at scale is every marketer’s dream & #AI makes it possible. – @NiteWrites” username=”toprank”]
Blog – LinkedIn – Twitter 2. Blog – LinkedIn – Twitter 3. Magnus Unemyr, Marketing Automation & AI Consultant Magnus has turned out a ton of high-quality content on marketing automation and AI in the past few years. He publishes daily newsletters available through his blog and Twitter feed, and has written a series of books on e-commerce and online marketing. Blog – LinkedIn – Twitter
