I’m trying to figure out how tigerghost swap AU would work -

Like, Manny is kinda easy: the Ghost Tiger that possesses the Rivera bloodline unintentionally fuses it’s and Manny’s life force together - result from a noble sacrifice? A ritual gone wrong? Who knows.

The results are the same: he’s half a ghost/ancient entity and half human(???) now. So he’s like Wulf where he has a were-tiger form (that can only use as a last resort) and has almost the same powers as Danny, except for ghostly wail it a mix of tiger and lion roars that incapacitates his enemies by striking fear in them.

The Rivers’s are less about hero and villain foil, and more about spiritual and technological foil - Rondolfo trying to instill the power and influence of positive energy and magic, while Jorge has turned his back from Miracle City’s long standing relationship with the spiritual community and doing harm to it in his drive for money and monetary power.

Manny is still torn by the ideals of two men he looks up to - and with the Ancient Tiger Spirit now piggybacking the back of his mind - he’ll have to choose if he’s for progress, spiritual growth or a combination of the two.

Danny is harder cause like I’m trying to figure out how the Fenton family isn’t ghost obsessed, but maybe like a mix of Grimm Brothers and Wild Thornberries - or like the opposite of the Secret Saturdays, where they hunt and capture cryptozoology for both their personal passion and for their mission to protect humanity.

Now the how Danny becomes a cat based superhero is alluding me that result in that White Wolf situation in the Black Panther comics. Maybe I should lean to Black Cat from the Spider-Man universe but just make it where he does it for fun.

Or I can use the Thornberry angle and have it where he saved an old shaman or hidden god from danger and is giving the gift of a predators power to protect the weak. He still fights ghosts - it’s just his wheelhouse is more poacher related and also trying to protect the supernatural creatures from his well meaning, but dedicated parents. Not to mention the competition that was his parents ex best friend and his strange, creepy son and daughter that wouldn’t stop staring at him. Or the random masked villain trying to get revenge..

Just another day in the life of superhero, Shadow Cat.

He moves a lot because of their hunting, but the finally decided to make a home headquarters at Amity Park when he was seven and Jazz finally put her foot down about all the traveling. He still makes friends with Sam and Tucker and will FaceTime when he has to travel out of town with his family. Homeschooled for the most part and Maddie isn’t about to let her son have a C average grade in her class lol

But now in his junior year, they moved temporarily to Miracle City because Maddie and Jack were told about a ghost lycanthrope that always sends armies of ghosts to attack the city. Danny thinks it’s a simple rogue cryptid that lost its home to deforestation or something - a simple home relocation.

When Shadow Cat is seen handling ghosts on his terf, the great El Tigre Fantasma can’t let it slide and decides to show the newcomer who exactly was the #1 hero around here.

He wasn’t prepared for the interloper to be cute though.
