(open! 0/2?; m/f/nb; @) e a bandinha do bairro, hein, cadê? na minha cabeça, Gale pode tocar alguns instrumentos - tudo meia boca, exceto sua gaita em forma de concha -, então é claro que, ideia inicial sua ou não, acabaria formando um grupinho musical. pensei inicialmente num terceto, mas que podia aumentar (com audições, quem sabe?), e eles teriam o maior compromentimento em ensaiar. isso quer dizer que, se forem "Rumors - Fleetwood Mac" ou "Mamonas Assassinas" das ideias, já tá mais aberto a cada integrante. {"lá se dorme um sol em mim menor: eu sinto que sei que sou um tanto bem maior", o teatro mágico}

It had been around seventy-two hours since the First Order had retrieved them from Ahch-To. A dull ache had permanently settled behind Maree’s temples, and she wasn’t sure if it was the monochrome setting she had found herself in, or the violently-quiet chambers she had been placed into. The walls here were sterile, unblemished. In short, it was the least stimulating quarters she had ever had.

Even if she wanted to explore whatever else was housed on the second First Order ship, her door had been firmly locked since a pair of Stormtroopers had walked her from the bay. I’m not going to go anywhere, she wanted to spit at them, there’s nowhere to go. Some droids had come and gone to feed her every so often, but any human contact had apparently been deemed inappropriate for now.

She had next to no idea where she was, or where the rest of the acolytes had been taken. In short, this had been the most confusing rescue mission ever.

Still, she couldn’t bring herself to regret leaving and helping Ben. Any Jedi master who would attempt to kill their own students didn’t deserve to have them, let alone their own nephew! How was he ever a war hero? The saviour of the Republic? She agonised over these questions as she tossed-and-turned in the unfamiliar cot, disturbed by how little information anyone had thought to give her.

Currently, the ex-Padawan was pacing her chambers, finding some comfort in the gentle tap her tight First Order regulation boots made on the metallic floors. As silent as the grave, she mused, and remained melancholy until the door swung open to reveal Ben.

001 – La navegación marítima es el arte y la ciencia de conducir una embarcación desde una situación de salida (zarpado) hasta otra de llegada, eficientemente y con responsabilidad.

002 – Es arte por la destreza que debe tener el navegante para sortear los peligros de la navegación, y es ciencia porque se basa en conocimientos físicos, matemáticos, oceanográficos, cartográficos, astronómicos, etc. La navegación puede ser superficial o submarina.

015 –La navegación mediterránea, que los romanos habían llegado a controlar (Mare Nostrum indiscutido desde sus victorias frente a cartagineses - guerras púnicas, 264-146 aC.- y egipcios - batalla de Actium, 31 aC.- y piratas), volvió a ser un entorno disputado en la Edad Media, a partir del momento en que los vándalos consiguieron atacar navalmente las costas italianas.

016 –En el siglo VI los bizantinos consiguieron retomar su control, y en el siglo VII fueron los árabes los que acabaron de dividir el espacio mediterráneo; al que llegaron a acceder incluso vikingos y normandos.

017 –Desde la época de las Cruzadas también tuvieron gran presencia los navegantes venecianos, genoveses​ y de la Corona de Aragón. ​

018 –El conocimiento de la brújula, transmitido a los europeos por los árabes (quienes lo habían obtenido a su vez de los chinos), junto con otras mejoras en técnicas astronómicas (astrolabio, ballestilla, sextante), cartográficas (portulanos) y en la construcción naval (carabela, nao, galeón), permitieron la Era de los Descubrimientos protagonizada inicialmente por portugueses y castellanos; especialmente a partir del impulso de Enrique el Navegante a la escuela de Sagres.

019 –En 1492 se realizó el primer viaje colombino a América; en 1488, Bartolomeu Dias dobló el cabo de Buena Esperanza, lo que abrió la ruta al Índico (Vasco de Gama llegó a Calicut (India) en 1498); entre 1519 y 1521 la expedición de Magallanes-Elcano circunnavegó el mundo (midiendo la longitud geográfica con el método de su organizador científico, Rui Faleiro).

020 –Hasta el siglo XVI la hegemonía hispano-portuguesa en la navegación fue patente en campos como la geografía y la cosmografía.

verse 001 :

default. former right hand mare of the notorious & late Storm King, she works to better herself from her past misdeeds, relearning what friendship means. ( Unless plotted otherwise, Tempest is stationed on the icy boarders of the Crystal Kingdom, fighting off monsters with her teammate & old friend Glitter Drops. )

verse 002 :

pre-movie. commander tempest at her peak, she is fearless & ruthless, spreading the terror of the Storm King’s name by force, helping him to conquer every land they come across.

verse 003 :

alt. after the fall of the Storm King, Tempest is left to find her own path of redemption, eventually finding it under the employment of one of the four princesses of Equestria as their royal guard/captain. Plotting in this verse is encouraged.

verse 004 :

a general anthro verse. can be used for crossover threads ie. zootopia, sing, etc etc.

hello angels !  i’m lil late posting this, but i was on holiday and now i’m jet-lagged, so please judge me kindly. i bring you my baby myrcella, who is a smake in the rose garden, and i think she’ll be a lot of fun to play. i look forward to rp’ing with you all. 

{ lily james| cis-female } Do you know if MYRCELLA VERENA has arrive in Edana yet? They’re the TWENTY FIVE year old, LADY OF HOUSE VERENA. No? Alas, I hope they arrive before the beginnings of celebrations otherwise the King may question why they’re not here. You’ve heard the whispers have you not? What if MYRCELLA is a Lysander loyalist, I hear SHE can be JUDGEMENTAL & DECEPTIVE But I also hear they can be QUICK-WITTED & GRACEFUL and SHE has sworn to House Thadea, so we’ll have to simple hope and pray SHE arrive soon before rumours spread.

001: RIVER GIRL

i. the little river girl, they called her. she was a petite thing, fully formed and doll-like, with eyes like spring violets. myrcella was beautiful, and for a time free from corruption. she was a child that knew nothing of corruption, or ambition. the world around her was rose-tinted, perfect, and she was too enchanted by the fine things in her life to second-guess any of it. in comparison to many of the other families she knew, house verena’s assets were considered modest. their holdings were small, but their ambition more than made up for it. her mother had married for love, a mistake she would come to tell her daughter many years later. the verena matriarch had once swathed herself in finery, only to find herself selling old gowns so that she may purchase new ones to keep up appearances. her father was an honourable man and easily swayed by his wife’s every whim.

ii. days were spent in the rivers, floating alongside the lily pads. it was said that the verena’s could swim before they could walk. a fact which no one could argue with. her friends told her stories of the creatures in the river, of sirens and spirits and instead of being frightened, myrcella was fascinated. the young girl with pale hair loved nothing more than a good story. sometimes, her mother told her of the magic in their blood, it was said that they were descended from the water spirits, and they had the capacity to draw prophecy. myrcella thought that it was luck which her mother called magic.

002: SNAKE IN THE ROSE BUSH

i. she was her mother’s creature. while fairer and gentler, there was still a serpent in the garden of her heart, which proved itself cunning. her father’s honourable nature had very little influence over his daughter, who soaked up every lesson which her mother gave to her and then once she was old enough to attend banquets and meet the nobility, she practised all that her mother had taught her - although she lacked the bitterness which seemed to seep into the older verena’s words. myrcella was quick to make friends since she made quick work of captivating them.

ii. when she was on the brink of womanhood, myrcella met a lesser lord and found her heart being manipulated. it could easily have derailed all of her families plans, and she would have been no better than her mother who married for love and ended up with less. for months she entertained the dalliance, allowing herself to feel free and loved, and the feeling of a lovers touch, but she knew it was fleeting. it came to a head when it was suggested that they run away together under the cover of darkness. myrcella raised her voice so that everyone around her could hear, and declared that his proposal was inappropriate and unprovoked. the hurt which flashed in his eyes would forever haunt her. Not long after, he contracted a sickness and died, it seemed he did not have the will to fight on.

003: CENTAUR

i. despite the allure of the river, which called to her blood, myrcella spent just as much time astride a horse. when she was a little girl, she begged to be allowed to ride one, and for a few years, her father refused. her aunt had been like a great centaur, until one day when she was thrown from a horse at great force, only to break her back. her father feared the same fate for his delicate little daughter. the fair-haired girl begged and begged, her violet eyes shining with desperation until her father finally relented. once she was astride the horse, she declared that she never wished to get down.

ii. myrcella was known for her grace and finesse atop a horse, from filly to mare the silver grew with her until they were charging through the kingdom, a vision of violet and silver. she competed in races against her friends, and always won them. her most peaceful days were spent atop her silver which she called ‘luna’. it was a chance for her to get away from the pressure and expectations. despite her charming smile, myrcella feared disappointing her mother, who had put all of her desperation and regrets onto her.  

004: POWER IS POWER

i. the salvation of her family depended on her marriage. like so many girls before her, she was to be treated as though she were something to be bought. but unlike those other girls, she knew how to play the people around her, to influence them into thinking she cares. that’s not say that she’s entirely fake with people, for she feels a lot for those close to her, but she’s happy to manipulate the perceptions of others around her so that she is seen to be charismatic and caring.

ii. being the daughter of a lesser house generally meant that she would marry into another lesser house, it’s the way it had often been for hundreds of years. but her mother pushed to at least try and ensnare a second son, she might not get the heir but she could certainly get the spare. when she met the second-born son of house oberon, she decided that he would be her’s. love had very little to do with marriage, so long as she benefited from having the right family name. so she did what any girl in her situation would have, she flirted and charmed until her betrothal was announced.
