It's very often that I miss my source friends and whatnot, but it's missing my brother that hurts the absolute most. Like... I'll have a good day, and then I'll lie down in bed and realize that I won't get to talk to him the way we used to, or make sure he's doing okay or... anything. I don't know, I always feel better when I have someone to fret over, so this emptiness... hurts.

Luckily, a few people have taken to seeing me like a safe person; like a sister, a close friend, whatever, and they allow me to care for them. But it's just... not the same.

I braided our hair last night; I have been learning how to do it, actually. More in the sense of I've been practicing braiding my own hair, but learning nonetheless :]

It is quite inconvenient at times, and I did end up having to undo it only to redo it once I ended up losing track/control of my hair. But it is also kind of fun ^^

I think that I would like to eventually get us more accustomed to looking pretty, as well. Not necessarily with makeup, as we do not know how to apply it, let alone what to get. But we used to be invested in skin care, and I know we remember that the process was tedious (and at times a tad uncomfortable, with textures and such), but the result was a pleasant clean feeling, usually :)

ik youve talked abt system yohane/yoshiko b4 but im curious to hear more in depth abt ur thoughts on them!!

Okay anon. I hope you know that I owe you a cookie and a drink.

Their system consists of Yoshiko (the host and trauma holder), Yohane (nonhuman alter and protector, possibly a psychosis symptom holder) Lalapis (nonhuman alter, introject, and caretaker)

Their system is probably bigger, I'm imagining 'introjects' of the rest of aqours (which depending on the universe they could be non introjects)

They have a lot of trauma from bullying and religious parents (leaving this vague for personal interpretation)

Yohane formed when they were young and is inspired by the fallen angels their parents would talk about. Ironically it made their bullies target them more because it can't seperate from it's nonhuman identity and it's trauma.

Lailaps is (ironically) an ANP, she tries to do 'damage control' especially from Yohane.

If they have the other members of aqours I think Hanamaru is a combination of a childhood friend and a story book character. She also holds some of their naivety having been raised in mostly isolation.

Yoshiko wished as a kid to have siblings so her parents would focus on her less and so she'd has sibling(s) to play with. Ruby is a representation of the little sister while Dia is the older sister she imagined playing with.

Chika is a mood booster and generally cheerful part. She doesn't remember their trauma.

Kanan is a representation of a 'true friend' that Yoshiko wanted as a child. She is a social and active part

Mari is a holder for their parental trauma and is also a protector, but she goes about it in the 'wrong way' (standing up to their parents)

You is another book character, he's also partly linked to their happy memories of being on their grandparents boat. He's also a transmasc part and that causes upset sometimes.

Riko is a lesbian and she is a representation of their repressed sexuality.

Yohane and Yoshiko are almost constantly together (subsystem maybe?). Yoshiko finds Yohane scary (this fear eases up as she learns about their system), but Yohane doesn't really know who it is without protecting Yoshiko so relies on her.

Yoshiko and Yohane have a system yuri thing happening between them.

I keep being told I make people... happy. Especially those who like my source, apparently. Not all of them are even aware I'm a fictive; in some of their minds, I'm just another roleplayer having a good time... but I can hear how they light up when we talk, you know?

It's... it's nice. Even if they don't entirely get my situation, me being myself brings them joy. I bring people joy. I make people happy.
