We offer the same courtesy to any visiting canon-character roleplayer -- it would not be the first time Tale has accidentally pulled in people from other dimension or timelines.

Only thing I will ask is to be nice to one another, and avoid all EW / Post-ShB spoilers. (I am in EW, and friend is in Post-ShB). Don't even have to bring a gift, just good vibes!

Court of Darkness Part 15 - Fenn Luxure (Book 2)

I recall not really liking Fenn's route so let's see how Book 2 goes~ Anyway, I'm so glad Fenn properly apologised to the heroine because I was about to riot if he continued avoiding her and deciding for himself how to protect her again. I'm so glad the heroine and Violet cooperated together and surprised him at the port and basically forced him to take them along back to Luxure. He really shouldn't go back by himself, who knows if he'll actually come back considering how weak he can be when he's alone! Dang, Kieran is hot with the cold prince kinda vibe, heroine needs to get these brother of the LI routes lol. OMG WHAT, Fenn's father is so beautiful!!? 10/10 would date. Even the uncle is fine! The genes in this family🤣 Anyway, back to the plot, I guess Book 2 is all about the princes going back to their country and doing something huh? Fenn's father saying he'll add the heroine to his harem if Fenn fails his mission though, what a guy lol, so casually trying to take his son's partner. I think it's very productive and sweet of the heroine to work hard learning about the history and everything about Luxure because she's unable to help Fenn with the issue he needs to solve to get his father's forgiveness. I mean, her studies might help eventually!

The symposium ended in a quite anticlimactic way but I'm glad Fenn and the heroine showed Kieran and Mateus, their uncle that they can't do anything they want. Fenn is lucky the heroine is strong and not someone that gives up, otherwise his ass would be dumped straight away lol. He really needs to stop doing everything he wants to "protect" her and always hiding things from her and not saying anything. Has he still not learned to communicate?? AND now because the heroine chased after him, Mateus kidnapped her😒 Honestly, I'm always so happy with how strong the heroine is and how she never gives up no matter the situation. Her doing her best to protect Fenn with the magic she has learnt in her time at school was really sweet. But everything is definitely too dramatic for my liking, especially when Fenn protected the heroine against Mateus' attack. I still feel like it was pretty random how Kieran started basically seeing his brother in a better light again and helped Fenn and ditched Mateus. Like yeah, Kieran and Fenn had a nice relationship before but that was never explored or even talked about much. I'm still glad everything is finally resolved and lol at them being surprised that the heroine will be Fenn's only queen considering how the kingdom of Luxure is.

Overall, I'm disappointed with Fenn's route again because I feel like this was an extension of Fenn always doing things by himself and never learning to confide in the heroine even if she may not necessarily be able to do anything. I enjoyed the first bit when she did her own thing trying to learn about his kingdom but also supported him in his duties and mission in ways she could, and they both happily spent time with each other but when it got to the second half, I was back to banging my head on the wall. The heroine is constantly trying her best to communicate with Fenn all the time, and he is always running away doing "what's best for her", deciding it for her and even to the extent of breaking up with her, and then all it led to was her chasing after him and getting involved anyway! They're partners, paramours, they should have the trust already, I mean the heroine does but Fenn never does and it annoys me to no end that he doesn't learn to talk to the heroine when she's so open, forgiving and in love. I also feel like they focused so much on this plot that annoyed me that they neglected what people like about Fenn which is his personality and his sensuality which gets ignored for the most part later on and so we don't even get the nice hot romance that we should be getting! The CGs are really pretty though and it really makes me wish I could have liked Fenn more, because I do, but sadly these routes of his have not been it for me.

1) Are you glad to be moving on to the next year?

Yes and no. I mean you know I don't really feel the passage of time but like. I was hoping the year ending would make me feel better since I've had so much tragedy this year, but it doesn't feel different 😞 that being said an anniversary always helps me and at the end of the month, my dad has been gone for a year so that should be healing.

2) What are 3 things you've done in 2024 that you're proud of?

Shit this is tough; did I do anything this year? I mean I’m proud that I'm making tiny progress on ptbr. I want to learn so bad and it's going so slow so. Seeing my work paying off a little is nice.

I was looking through paypal and remembered I sent money for P**** to go to the Fresno listening party with you. I'm very proud of that since I feel like I owe her the world for getting us into nx zero. And of you going to see Fresno, I was just very happy that happened. Felt like an important thing to happen.

I'm kinda proud of maintaining health insurance even if I'm not doing great at it. I really need a lot of medical care so nice to have it in reach.
