The fact that a hockey player has been arrested for investigation and questioning, inquiring into whether the death occurred from a "reckless action" all those supposed hockey experts and those who've never watched a game ever chiming in

Regarding Matt Pettgrave, I'm firm in my belief that lynching him for an accident is absolutely disgusting and most of the people who do it are just racist cunts.

BUT. There's another thing that bothers me a lot. When reporting on the case, both on social media and in the news, they usually (at least from what I've seen) show an old photo of Matt from when he played for a different team. He played just NINE games for that team. Some of the media outlets keep saying he's from that city, which is untrue.

And surprise surprise, the team keeps getting shit for it. They had to put out a statement about an accident that has nothing to do with them...

This proves most people just want to point fingers and would blame absolutely anyone for this tragic accident. I'm actually so mad and disheartened by the whole thing and I just hope Matt Pettgrave will be okay one day in the future.
