"I think music is the best proof, that people have one thing in common, no matter where they live, no matter what language they speak."
–President Jimmy Carter, 1924-2024
Photo: In 1978, President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn brought jazz to the White House, hosting an unforgettable concert to mark the 25th anniversary of the Newport Jazz Festival. Legends like Dizzy Gillespie, Mary Lou Williams, Max Roach and Herbie Hancock took the stage. Guests enjoyed Jambalaya and Southern hospitality, a nod to jazz’s rich cultural roots. This is a picture of an original menu of the event.

Electronics "come from Creation. When people say electronics, they act like it just happened, but electronics have been in existence since the beginning of time. We have always had electrcity in the atmosphere and now mankind is beinnining to harness and utilize it...I think it's an asset"
