Still convinced mcr got together either
bc they forgot it was frank’s birthday, so they quickly reunited the band
or bc (more likely tbh) they heard Killerpilze were going into break and they accepted that a world with neither of the two bands was uninhabitable, so they decided to play their first concert the day before the last killerpilze concert

Most days I try to spare you guys with my personal stuff, but today is not one of these days. I've had a shitty day, people I have to do a group project with are lazy as fuck, and I'm the only one actually trying to work (hard flashback to school).
So I decided I need to do what I do best: annoy people with my love for these three men.
Trigger warning: Panic attack following...
The picture is from Friday one week ago. And the show they put on was fantastic. And I was doing shitty as fuck thanks to the girl in front of me refusing to pull her hair into a tail, as i asked her to a couple of times (bc strong perfumed hair of a stranger in my face -> agoraphobia -> panic attack).
I was literally watching one of my favourite drummers, the guitarist an arm's reach away from me, and I just stood there, second row, having a panic attack.
And the drummer was sometimes looking over and I'm certain he picked up on something being wrong.
End of the story is that once more my trust in a friend has been shattered by them not sticking to their word (entirely different story), my faith in humans has once again been dimmed, and I might finally realise that I can't trust anyone to look after me the same way I look after them (only exception might be my pink haired friend, but you live too far away).
At least I got to talk to the boys later on, and the guitarist joked around with me a little. Also neither he nor the bassist got over my shirt (their band name in the Metallica font) which I got about two years back (it was official merch, and they said they really should have made more of these shirts).
Also I was asked to take some pics of them with other fans and Fabi was fooling around so his face was hidden and I, being me, just went like "fabi, behave" (while laughing) and he was super embarrassed, mostly bc everybody else laughed too (imagine this tiny person telling on of their idols to behave, I mean... and his brother probably was just like haha, there you got it) and I only later realised that it might have come across as rude 😭 I'm pretty certain tho he understood that I wasn't intending to be mean.
also I didn't get to talk to him, which is a shame bc he's super sweet, but if he really picked up on me being off during a part of the show, it might have been for the better that we didn't talk, before he thinks about asking what happened.
Anyways.
That was my first concert of their last tour. And it's also the first time I managed to get a a picture taken with them that I actually like.
Please ignore my face.

Considering their career and indivdual education (especially thinking of Fabi here) I'm pretty sure this was absolutely intentional, mirroring their positions on stage.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Don’t you love how Mäx is slightly on the right, Jo on the left, and Fabi in the middle, embracing and connecting everything? (that probably wasn’t even intentional but well) ♥

Into the Night “Berlin stop and think, you are dancing with death.” - Government warning. The 'Barbican’s' latest offering – a look at the clubs and cabarets set up by artists mainly in the early years of the 20th century – is a brilliant theme for an exhibition. Established as alternatives to galleries and museums, places like the ‘Chat Noir’ in Paris, ‘Cabaret Voltaire’ in Zurich and ‘Bal Tic Tac’ in Rome were hotbeds of creative exploration where members exhibited work, explored ideas and experimented with radical new art forms. These clubs were social spaces that fostered collaboration. The intention was to have fun, exchange ideas and change attitudes. The artists danced, sang, produced plays and puppet shows, turned themselves into living sculptures or recited nonsense poetry. Performance art was born and a new form of political and cultural protest created. In Berlin in the 1920s and ‘30s the night club scene there became so frenetic that the government plastered the city with posters declaring death to the disco (so to speak). This didn’t stop George Grosz, Jeanne Mammen, Rudolf Schlichter and Max Beckmann recording the nocturnal shenanigans in wonderfully acerbic paintings and graphics. The curators at the ‘Barbican’ have done sterling work in bringing existing material together. Sketches, designs, prints, watercolours, paintings and occasional snippets of film give some idea of the aesthetics of each venue. ‘Into the Night : Cabarets and Clubs in Modern Art’ is at the ‘Barbican’ until January 19, 2020. #neonurchin #neonurchinblog #dedicatedtothethingswelove #suzyurchin #ollyurchin #art #music #photography #fashion #film #words #pictures #neon #urchin #barbican #london #intothenightcabaretsadnclubsinmodernart #exhibition #lechatnoir #rasht29 #cabaretfledermaus #caveofthegoldencalf #anarchy #creativeexploration #dancingwithdeath (at Barbican Hall) https://www.instagram.com/p/B5mxR78gx-S/?igshid=bcc48759ueay

Intrigue? Orgies? 58 colleges with 1st-round QB picks since Ohio State’s last before Dwayne Haskins
Tumblr media
Haskins is the first since Art Schlichter went to the (Baltimore) Colts.
Dwayne Haskins went 15th overall to Washington in the NFL Draft It ends astonishing streak for Ohio State, one of the best recruiters and most dominant teams in college football.
In 1982, the Baltimore Colts drafted OSU quarterback Art Schlichter with the fourth pick. He only lasted parts of four years in the league, and he’s more famous now for going to prison for stealing to finance a gambling habit.
Schlichter was the last Ohio State QB to get taken in the first round. Nine Buckeye QBs have been drafted elsewhere, but nobody higher than Tom Tupa, 68th overall, in the 1988 third round.
It makes some sense that Ohio State hasn’t had a first-round (or even second-round) QB since Schlichter. Going back to Troy Smith in the mid-2000s, the Buckeyes’ QBs have tended to be great runners who ranged from bad to somewhat above-average passers: Terrelle Pryor, Braxton Miller, J.T. Barrett, and Cardale Jones. (In the most uninformed corners, this perception may follow Haskins.) Until Haskins and now-head coach Ryan Day took the reins in 2018, OSU was a spread-to-run team.
But that doesn’t explain the late ‘80s, the ‘90s, or the early aughts.
There were 88 first-round QBs between 1983, the first year of OSU’s drought, and the few picks before Haskins went in 2019. They’ve come from all kinds of programs, but let’s start low on the food chain. (Thanks to the great search engine at Sports Reference for its help.)
FCS teams
UC Davis: Ken O’Brien
Alcorn State: Steve McNair
Delaware: Joe Flacco
North Dakota State: Carson Wentz
Wentz’s North Dakota State would have wailed on the vast majority of FBS teams at the time he was drafted in 2016. Actually, NDSU still would. These are nonetheless programs at a level that currently allows 63 scholarships (max) producing more of these guys than OSU.
FBS non-powers
Colorado State: Kelly Stouffer
San Diego State: Dan McGwire
Miami (Ohio): Ben Roethlisberger
Utah: Alex Smith
Memphis: Paxton Lynch
Wyoming: Josh Allen
Duke: Daniel Jones
FBS non-powers that have had two first-round QBs in this span
UCF: Daunte Culpepper, Blake Bortles
Marshall: Chad Pennington, Byron Leftwich
Fresno State: Trent Dilfer, David Carr
Tulane: Patrick Ramsey, J.P. Losman
The non-power ranks have produced two Super Bowl-winning starters (Dilfer and Roethlisberger), a few solid NFL QBs (Pennington, Leftwich), and probably the oddest fact on this list, which is that Tulane had two first-round QBs between 2002 and 2004.
Junior colleges
Blinn College: Cam Newton
Butte Community College: Aaron Rodgers
Reedley College: Josh Allen
I’m exercising my right to double-count these players’ JUCOs to suit my own agenda. I will not count Troy Aikman for Oklahoma, however, because I don’t want to.
Current Power 5 schools that are funny
Illinois: Tony Eason, Jeff George
Purdue: Jim Everett
Vanderbilt: Jay Cutler
Boston College: Matt Ryan
Kansas State: Josh Freeman
We all have those players whose alma maters we forget, even though we know in our hearts they went there. For me, Cutler’s a first-team all “oh yeah, he went there” talent.
Pac-12 schools with serious bulk quantity
Oregon: Chris Miller, Akili Smith, Joey Harrington, Marcus Mariota
UCLA: Troy Aikman, Tommy Maddox, Cade McNown, Josh Rosen
Cal: Kyle Boller, Aaron Rodgers, Jared Goff
USC: Todd Marinovich, Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, Mark Sanchez, Sam Darnold
Everyone else
Pitt: Dan Marino
Penn State: Todd Blackledge, Kerry Collins
Stanford: John Elway, Andrew Luck
Iowa: Chuck Long
Michigan: Jim Harbaugh
Miami: Jim Kelly, Vinny Testaverde
Houston: Andre Ware, David Klingler
Notre Dame: Rick Mirer, Brady Quinn
Washington State: Drew Bledsoe, Ryan Leaf
Tennessee: Heath Shuler, Peyton Manning
Virginia Tech: Jim Druckenmiller, Michael Vick
Syracuse: Donovan McNabb
Kentucky: Tim Couch
Florida: Rex Grossman, Tim Tebow
NC State: Philip Rivers
Ole Miss: Eli Manning
Auburn: Jason Campbell, Cam Newton
Texas: Vince Young
LSU: JaMarcus Russell
Georgia: Matt Stafford
Oklahoma: Sam Bradford, Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray
Florida State: Christian Ponder, EJ Manuel, Jameis Winston
Missouri: Blaine Gabbert
Washington: Jake Locker
Oklahoma State: Brandon Weeden
Texas A&M: Ryan Tannehill, Johnny Manziel
Baylor: Robert Griffin III
Louisville: Teddy Bridgewater, Lamar Jackson
Clemson: Deshaun Watson
Texas Tech: Patrick Mahomes
North Carolina: Mitchell Trubisky
Houston’s here because when Ware and Klingler got drafted, in 1990 and ‘92, the Cougars were still in the Southwest Conference, which had A&M, Texas, and nearly half of the modern Big 12. Seems like a power conference to me. Let’s just move along.
(Both of the Houston QBs were pretty significant busts — top-seven picks two years apart who went on to go a combined 7-23 with 21 TD passes to 30 picks.)
To Ohio State fans, the greatest thing about Haskins ending this streak is obvious.
For at least a year, Buckeye fans will now be able to add “Michigan hasn’t had a first-round QB since Jim Harbaugh” to their list of reasons to laugh at their rivals.

600 Euro max. Danke. Bitte.
