On the Street Florence with Maxim Lundh

I HAVE HAD two hectic weeks with a lot of things happening. Last Sunday, when I usually write these posts, I flew down to Amsterdam for training in Zaltbummel with Suitsupply. This is something I probably will write more about eventually. Anyway, I did not have the time to write, so this week’s IWI will be a mix of both week 39 and 40, because there were some really nice posts that I would not want to skip.

Nothing stands out from the ordinary clothing wise; tweeds are still coming in, as well as overcoats. It makes me long for even colder days.

I have really started to like Prince of Wales-check. It is a crowded pattern that still is very subtle. Here, Benedikt Fries pulls it off perfectly.

@tarosixstrings’ thick, blue herringbone jacket with roped shoulders is absolutely a jacket for this autumn. Together with a brown knit tie and brown trousers, it really sets a certain mood.

More Prince of Wales-check, here worn as part of a three-piece suit of @voxsartoria. Vintage roll-collar and muted paisley seals the deal.

Berg & Berg combination that looks comfortable, casual but yet super sharp. The merino wool cardigan/over shirt is a great new item

Maxim Lundh in on off his trademark suede jackets. Clean cut autumn look in tones of brown and grey.

Fabio Attanasio in a beautiful carded three-piece suit. 3-roll-2 construction, jetted side pockets and spalla con rollino makes the rather conservative look more contemporary. He pairs it with suede shoes.

One of @passaggiocravatte many lovely ties. I really like how the yellow colour pops and shines in the silk together with the brown checks.

@take.it.easy.7 pulls of the great Ivy look with a neckerchief twist. This combination is clean and sharp, and the navy blues and white together with the red tartan pattern is just fab!
