people really take the old mythology literally. like no, those were stories designed by ancient people to describe the nature of the gods and teach lessons. and ancient people were not perfect!

Do people actually research? Yes the gods might of done bad things DOESN'T MEAN THEY ARE BAD!

People literally are so disrespectful like they aren't fiction they are real gods, Stop acting like they are fiction! It honestly enrages me whenever I see something or someone HATING ON REAL DETIES!!

I understand if anyone doesn't agree with me, that's fine but don't treat the gods like characters

i hate the usage of “wicca/paganism” like just say “wicca or paganism”. please. the little slash indicates that they are interchangeable terms. they are not.

Welcome to my blog!

This is my witchcraft and paganism blog. I decided to separate it from my main @maximilliansblog . I saw a post where someone said that we should post our craft more often, because it inspires others, and I wholeheartedly agree! So that’s what I’ll be doing here.

For witchcraft, I mostly do glamours, ritual baths, divination through tarot and astrology, and some herbal magic. It’s not much, but it’s mine.

My pagan practices are mostly Hellenic, though I do work with/worship Lucifer. Lately I’ve been praying to and trying to work with Apollo, Aphrodite, Hekate, and Hermaphroditus.

My posts will mostly be records of what I’ve been up to lately, almost like a journal. I’ll also just post some general tips and opinions. I’ve only been practicing for two or three years, so I’m not very experienced, but I’ll share what I know!

i used to be an antitheist because the religion i left hurt me. but i’ve come to realize that religion can be beautiful and healing. i think that’s something a lot of antitheists need to realize as well

"I don't have a religion therefore you can't either" isn't any less colonialist than "my religion is valid and yours is not", by the way, people.

You know, witchcraft doesn’t have to be this big, dramatic thing. I mean, of course you can do big fancy rituals and such, but witchcraft can also be carrying a piece of rose quartz for self-love. Wearing black for protection. Those kinds of things.

More experienced practitioners probably already know this, but it’s something I had to learn whenever I was first starting. I thought every time I wanted to do magic, I had to cast a circle, sprinkle some salt, sit at an altar, check the moon phases and the planetary hour, chant, etc. etc. And there’s nothing wrong with doing all that, but you don’t have to do it every time you want to do some magic. Sometimes, it’s little things, like herbs in your tea :)

i wish there was a way to block the wicca tag without blocking all the good information that just has that tag among its many tags

okay so i haven’t been doing shit lately i havent talked to like any of my gods but this encourages me that they won’t be angry with me. i guess it’s a leftover fear from the particular sect of christianity i left 🤷

Hi! I downloaded Stable Diffusion to make some art and played around with it for a week. I genuinely thought it was fine and just a new way to make art, but I asked Apollo how He felt about it, and He hated it. Or at least disliked it. Like, the sun wouldn’t stop shining in my eyes every time I went out to drive even if I put the sunvisor down, and I was just seeing His signs everywhere. I think He was displeased. This is all like anecdotal but I’m going to remake an AI-generated art piece I made of Him and Hyacinthus and put my whole heart and soul into it. And even if it doesn’t look as good as the AI’s, I still got experience and I’ll make a better painting next time.

My guys in mythology and deity tags, you need to start recognizing AI generated images, I’m serious.
