ive got an idea for a paper but no class to write it for and no real reason to write it but on god itd fuck to hard
#personal post#specifically. i want to write about tumblr fandom n the different fandom subcultures like anime (maybe not specific animes but tempting)#comic books / superheros and maybe like music/musicians or like? the weirdly big fandom for those f1 racers or whatever they are#maybe applying like conflict theory n symbolic interactionism or smth...#like what makes these groups n brings them together n why conflict between & within the groups might be so prevelant#this is inspired by the urge i have to analyze the fucking dc fandom oh my god#OH and like. the different things that people use to show they're part of a fandom. or even just tumblr in general! like how there's certai#phrases that give away that you're on tumblr and/or have been for awhile#objectively it's kinda hilarious that i can say i wanna study this AND it would be relevant to my degree#Sociology major for the win
