Lukas doesn't want to belittle you or be angry at you, he admires you so much... You've gotten and showed him so many mobs you've managed to tame! There's of course his favorite, ocelots! Some special type of squid that glows! What's it called again? Glowsquid? There's also some little blue guy with wings that gives him stuff that you call the Alley! And different colored wolves, pigs, chickens! A brown panda named Cocoa! Multiple parrot, dogs, cats, a random pink sheep, apparently you didn't dye it either so you excited seeing in the wild? Even a random goat you both named Bert! He still loves back and wonders why it's Bert. Oh well, that's the name he responds to!

And Lukas loves how you fly with that Elytra. Soaring like a bird in the sky, it was graceful the first time before he saw you, looking at you like a highschool girl watching their crush! But that ended and turned into concern and panic as you hit a tree face first at high speeds. He has to take you to Beacon Town and get the teeth that nearly fell out all put back in!... (Because you made Beacon Town they gave you a discount, but that's still so expensive and it happens every few months... So Lukas is a bit on edge about those Elytra wings..)

But at the same time... There are mobs he doesn't particularly like that you keep on collecting. Those being monsters...

So many monsters...

First it was a group of zombies that now eat and groan when you come near SPECIFICALLY! Then it was an enderman that actually HIT you, but NOOOO you just had to give it a block of solid emerald and now it won't leave! And don't get Lukas started about that creeper in a boat you named Francis. FRANCIS! Francis is a soft name for a monster that will explode if you get one inch too close.

Yes, Lukas finds it actually interesting, he likes watching the mobs without (mostly) not tearing for his life or your safety. And how you catch new ones he's never even SEEN before! He admires your bravery, his favorite monster mobs is an actual friendly little Ghastling! He named it bubbles. Bubbles is the only monster mob Lukas likes aside from it just being his massive curiosity.

But the noise, THE NOISE!! He can't sleep because there are so many monsters nearby that he made you put the monster mobs further away from the house so he can SLEEP in peace. It got so bad you unfortunately had to sleep on the couch a few times (Yikes... Lukas felt bad about it afterwards I swear.)

It's just that you're so beautiful, brave... But also bravely stupid. Or is it the other way around? Even then, Lukas worried about you. Dearly. With you hitting against cliffs, trees, and even hopping into the largest cave he's ever seen just because you wanted a bat and a skeleton with a sword and not a bow... You and him have been through so much, he's watched the same monsters that you're catching harm you before, it hurts Lukas deeply when you get hurt, even on accident.

But, you know he's scared, you know he's worried. It's written all over Lukas' face, you comfort him, you make sure that he's as comfortable as you are getting all these mobs, monster or not. You moved the monsters further back almost in their own house. Francis gets his own room with the boat! And the zombies just roam around in a room that is comfortable and secure. Basically having to redo everything so Lukas feels better. (But admit it, you'd do it for that man as well) And you both make up in the end. I mean- If you saw your lover being reckless and a little stupid, wouldn't you be worried sick?

But that's just Lukas for you! You know how he is always worried about you, always thinking about you. He can't help it, he admires you more than the earth admires the sun.

Yes, that also includes you and your dangerous pets... But, it's a package deal, and he's more than happy to deal with what is has in store. Just for you♡

You'd been hanging around with Jesse for a while, though only ever hearing anecdotal stories of her friends. Though you spot who you were earlier introduced to; Lukas, writing away in his journal. Though you didn’t engage in any further conversation then, you saw him writing passionately in some untitled book. He hardly noticed you approaching him. 

“What's that?” You speak up, and he jumps, fumbling with the notebook. It must've come off as more commanding than you meant because you spot a slight pinkening in his cheeks as he composed himself.

“It's a journal. I... found it a while back,” he offers a smile, to which you only peer over the book cover, now curious.

“It’s nothing interesting.” His smile grows somewhat nervous, letting out an embarrassed titter.

“Oh. Sorry.” You lean back, mirroring his sheepishness.

He relaxes a little after seeing your awkwardness match his, “I mean you can see if you want” 

Lukas holds the book out to you, and you take it without a word. He’s somewhat puzzled by you. He heard you were pretty badass. Jesse said you jumped in and saved her with only an iron axe. Yet here you were, he couldn't tell if you were shy or simply had no interest in conversing with him. He’s never gotten a long enough chance to speak to you before, even this hadn’t lasted too long as Jesse whisked you away for something important. You’d handed the book back to him on the way out.

The way you coyly smiled as you gingerly held the book back out to him lingered on his mind. It was only his nature to be curious about everything as usual, but he noticed a strange warmth in his cheeks as he realized how much he was looking forward to when he'd see you next.

TW: Mention of Injuries, PTSD, and that type of stuff in general

•After the events of Episode 6 Lukas has a slight fear of anything being involved with Redstone even by the mention of it

•If you got controlled by PAMA as well he would be terrified of what you were going through if he was the one that Jesse saved when the choice between him and Petra came along

•Hates seeing you controlled if he was saved, and his heart would shatter if he had to fight you

•If you weren’t controlled and if you came along with Jesse when he went to get the Heart, when Lukas was getting in and out of control of his own mind he would try to tell you to stay away

•After the events of PAMA you will both be asking each other the same question of “are you okay?” over and over again even when y’all are home

•Lukas most likely has a small bald patch on the back of his head from the chip being inserted so you try to help him cover it if he wants to

•Lukas would be more protective of you as well as you being more protective towards him after PAMA which includes more hand holding, always being next to you, looking at you from distances away if you went somewhere

•When y’all finally got home he would immediately take a break with you if you stayed with them after Petra leaves if Jesse went along with her (if that’s what you choose) (also this is non PAMA related I just thought it was cute lol)

•If you stayed behind when they first went to the temple then he would be so relieved but anxious what would have happened if you tagged along

•When/If Lukas vents to you about what happened, he would most likely have tears in his eyes and you would try to understand (you better 😊)

•Again if you got controlled by PAMA he would have most likely have a slight panic attack to himself if he couldn’t rescue you

•Lukas and you would apologize to each other frequently after the events of not being able to save each other if it happened.

•When y’all get home he would be very anxious towards Olivia and if you hang out with her •In total just be nice and don’t mention the events again after unless he does, and make sure to comfort him and stuff even if he seems fine (small hugs, kisses on the cheek/forehead, hand holding, etc)

     "Soren really lived down here?" Lukas wondered aloud, glancing around to admire the ceiling. The group had slowed to a walk now, crossing a large bridge. For once [Y/N] didn't mind being apart of this group. "So far from... anyone." Then Lukas ruined the moment with that comment, making [Y/N] recall their own living situation. They allowed themself to fall a little behind the group.

     "Enchanting, isn't it?" Ellegaard's voice dripped with a sarcasm that the alchemist didn't enjoy, either. They did genuinely find this place enchanting.

     But then they watched as Petra stumbled forward, caught herself in a cough. All others looked at her with concern and she only continued on, pretending it hadn't happened at all. Now all that [Y/N] felt was a building tensity. They hugged around their own elbows as the lot continued up some stairs.

It took you longer than you'd like to admit, but you finally realized something felt... off about Jesse.

At first, you thought the two of you were genuinely getting along. He seemed so interested in your work, your plans, and your art. Perhaps it was a touch too good to be true, but the praise got to your head.

You suppose the first sign that you should have noticed was how he was so, so clingy.

Not to mention, the town leader, the town hero, a living legend? Who wouldn't be excited about a blossoming friendship?

But then you watched him interact with others. The humble folks of Beacontown.

Your brows would furrow quietly. Why was he so unnecessarily mean to them? So demanding? It seriously got you thinking, Has Jesse always been like this?

With that kind of question in mind, you unconsciously began to avoid him.

"Sorry, I have to, uh, concentrate for a big project I wanna do tonight!" This. "Jesse, I don't think I can stay too long..." That.

You sheepishly rub your nape. "Umm. I actually have a meeting later—"

"Half the time I spend with those nitwits is nothing compared to time with you," he complains as he stomps his foot. You flinch, slightly. He pauses for a moment, narrowing his eyes at you.

"You know... If I didn't know any better, I'd think you're avoiding me," he mutters. A thought crosses his mind: he really should have tried stalking you.

Your heart sinks. "No! No. I'm not doing that! Everything has been—"

"You're lying through your teeth," he interrupts, frowning deeply. "You're starting to sound like those buffoons. I don't like that."

His word renders you speechless. Why is Jesse saying these things? How could he say something like that?

You sigh, your frustration eventually breaking through to your face. "Look, Jesse, I don't know what you're going through right now, but you've changed. And not in a good way."

Still, you try to soften the blow. "We can talk more about this later, but I really do have a meeting."

As you move to walk past him, he grabs your arm.

"I'm not Jesse," he grunts. You turn around in disbelief, locking eyes with him—his disturbingly wide, bloodshot eyes. "Is that what you wanted to hear?"

"...What?"

You search his eyes for any traces of humor, failing with grace. He looks dead serious. Maddened, almost, within his red eyes with glaring yellow iris.

How come you've never noticed this before?

Suddenly, everything clicks. Cool magic tricks, powerful illusions, his demeanor and attitude? The absence of Radar, his loyal intern? Even Lukas looked like he didn't want anything to do with him. When have you become so blind?

... And just where, in the entire world, is the real Jesse?

"You're the one who attacked Beacontown that day," you say carefully, deliberate with every word.

A smile stretches across his face. "Ding, ding, ding! A clever cookie, you are!"

Horrified, you jerk away from him. But for every step you take backward, he takes one forward.

You swallow the lump in your throat. "I can't... I can't believe I ever thought we were friends."

"Hoho, but we are!" he laughs, but even though he has a smile, you could read his eyes. Insecurity. "That was real! Come on, baby, doesn't our friendship mean anything to you?"

Your brows knit together as you slowly try to turn away from him. To simply leave him. Anything to get the hell away.

That is, until, you get surrounded by obsidian blocks.

The sun was just barely starting to set by the time you made it back home, casting the house in a vibrant orange glow to pave way to the evening as you stepped through the doorway, yawning as you closed the door behind you with a swift nudge of your foot. Stretching languidly you allowed a relieved sigh to pass your lips glad that you were finally beck in the safety of your home, your posture going lax as you stripped yourself of your weapons and bags; you let your sword rest against the wall adjacent to you and made a mental note to put it somewhere more ideal later as your attention turned to focus on your surroundings.

The house was surprisingly silent, something that wasn’t too uncommon when you were the only one at home, however in your haste to get back inside you’d noticed that Lukas was already at home, his boots placed right beside the door clearly indicating that he’d been back for quite a while. With this in mind you took a few steps into the house, eyes wandering to the living room doorway hoping to catch sight of your partner before sliding over to it and peeking curiously inside.

“Hey Lukas, you in-!” You paused taking in the empty living room, genuinely surprised that Lukas wasn’t in his usual spot and you cocked your head with a confused pout.

“...here” You backtracked back into the entryway, clicking your tongue as you swivelled around to peruse the other doorways silently wondering which room the blond could be in; the house was relatively sized so that left a good few minutes of wandering around trying to find him if you wanted to look for him, however you were exhausted after the long day, leaving that option all but void as your attention switched from door to door.

Fortunately though you had perfected a tactic ideal for figuring out exactly where he was.

“LUKAS! ARE YOU HERE? WHERE ARE YOU???!!!” you yelled, bringing your hands up to help amplify your voice as it echoed around the house.

A moment of silence followed, lasting no longer than a beat before you finally garnered your answer. “(Y/N)? I’m in here!” Grinning your attention snapped over to your left.

The Library - of course.

You made swift work making your way across to the Library door, pushing at the door enough for you to slip into the room and your eyes scanned the area eager to catch sight of the boy in question. Luckily it didn’t take long for you to spot him and you grinned upon noticing him.

He was hunched over one of the tables on the far side of the room, pen in hand making quick work filling in one of the few blank pages left in the book he was working with and your expression lit up as you quickly made your way further into the room, curiosity piquing as you walked over to Lukas’ side. Peering over his shoulder your eyes scanned over the words as he wrote them, expression softening as you smiled realizing he was documenting down the latest adventure the pair of you had been on with the New Order of The Stone. You remembered this one fondly (even if you did regret not bringing your armor during that particular bout of trouble) and found yourself chuckling silently reading over the endearing parts - he was even including some of the more ridiculous moments of the adventure!

After taking a few more seconds to look over the words you finally moved, bringing your hands to rest on his shoulders as you leaned over to make yourself visible to Lukas as you spoke up. “Ah I remember that one - it went pretty well if you forget all the parts where we were running for our lives”

This earnt a small laugh from Lukas who stopped writing to turn his attention to you, quirking a smile in your direction as he smiled. “Yeah it was pretty crazy; I specifically remember you screaming louder than the rest of us” you faked a pout and huffed, rolling your eyes at his teasing as you took a few steps back, giving him enough room to swivel around to face you directly.

“For the record it was justified! I was the last one out of there you can’t blame me for being at least a little concerned about getting trapped!” you shot back, biting back a smile upon seeing the look of mirth dancing across his features as you retorted.

“Anyway enough about me - you look like you’ve been here for a while; how long have you been writing today anyway? An hour? or maybe twelve?”

It was clearly meant as a joke as you playfully nudged his arm with a smirk, however in response Lukas’ expression wavered and his eyes darted back to the book, smile faltering as he chuckled nervously.

The smirk slowly fell from your face, replaced with a knowing frown as you crossed your arms with realisation dawning on you. “Lukas…” your tone was warning, unamusement beginning to set in as he brought a gloved hand to rub the back of his neck.

“I know I promised to take a break - and I will! - I just...wanted to get it all written down while it’s still fresh in my mind” your expression softened at his words, watching his eyes drift back to the nearly completed book and you sighed.

“Lukas you’ve been working on it for almost three days straight; if you don’t have a break soon I swear I’ll have to carry you to go rest up or something” While you had to admit watching Lukas’ face turn a light shade of pink at your words was pretty funny you still wanted to be serious (or try to be by any means) enough to get your point across as you continued.

“Come on, what harm is a small break going to do? You’ve been working hard enough you deserve the rest!”

Lukas went silent for a moment, eyes locking with yours before ultimately sighing. “I guess it has been a while since I’ve been away from writing…” your expression lit up and you grinned triumphantly as he swivelled back around and closed the book, hands brushing over the cover before he slipped it back into the bookcase; you shuffled closer to him and brought your hands to rest back upon his shoulders, tone a lot lighter as you chirped.

“I’m sure the history books can wait for the next chapter of adventures - for now let’s go get something to eat; I’ve perfected a new recipe that’ll be perfect for the occasion!” pressing a brief peck to his cheek you patted his shoulders.

“Well that certainly sounds like a plan” you grinned bashfully as he returned the gesture with a kiss of his own, your cheeks dusting red as you took his words as an opportunity to coax him out of his seat and lead him towards the door.

“Let’s get to it then! To the kitchen!” Lukas chuckled at your enthusiasm but let you lead him, expression softening as a warm smile graced his face.

After the whole witherstorm he would always ask for your advice on his book and your thoughts

During season 1.5 he thought he had his fill of adventure and usually decided to stay in town to finish his book but he overheard Axel and Olivia talking about you going back to a weird jungle temple in the woods he thought if wouldn't hurt if he'd tag along (news flash, it did. ALOT.)

After the whole murder mansion sky island and everything else in between what really was the final push was after he was chipped by PAMA

Where you were finally able to save him and he didn't wake up right away you were sobbing and racking over his body and where he finally did wake up, you tackled him and firmly pressed your lips firmly to his to the point he thought he was gonna passout again

It took over 1 1/2 seasons and 7 episodes but you two finally become an item

Sleep Deprived Builder Boyfriend

Summary: Lukas, have been spending the last few nights working restlessly on his blueprints that him and the Ocelots are going to use in their near building competition. You adore his hard-working personality, but he can only hold out for so long.

Word Count: 1.167 words

Author's Note: Just a random Lukas blurp because,,, just because.

Nights were supposed to be quiet, a time to relax, rest your eyes, sleep and fall into the depth of slumber.

But in your shared home, Lukas is wide awake at night, doodling and sketching away at a desk for building ideas that he can use for future tournaments.

The sound of pencil sketching away at pieces of paper filled in the quiet night, he furrowed his brows whenever something came unaligned before crumpling the paper and throwing it to the trash can that were sitting next to his desk.

And his sound of distress is what led your sleepy figure to his room.

Striding over to where he's sitting as your blanket being dragged behind you, you stopped behind him before wrapping your arms around his shoulder, alongside the blanket, and placed your head on top of his messy blond locks.

He flinched, that is, until he recognizes your touch as he quietly melts in your hold. Pulling a hand up, he took one of your hands in his before kissing your palm, "Why are you still awake, baby? Aren't you sleepy?"

Just as if on cue, you yawned at his question, earning a chuckle as you buried your face deeper into his hair, "I am. Aren't you?"

"Yeah.." Lukas whispered, you held his cheek as he nuzzled his face to your cold hands, mainly letting you rub on his tired eyes, "But I need to get this sketch finished."

You mumbled something about how he can do that in the morning before peeking towards his paper-invested desk and raised a sleepy eyebrow.

"Is this for..?"

"Yeah, it's for next week."

The building competition next week, a small event held by the infamous group of Hermits as a way to bond with their fans and interact more with the community of building.

And while you're not one of the judges for next week's building competition, you're still one of the well known members of the Hermits.

Lukas is still absolutely questioning about how you, a Hermit, would want to be with someone like him, who's a merely small local building champion with his team. Not that he's complaining, he absolutely adores you, but it's just easy to say that he sometimes just wonder about how he can be worthy being seen standing next to you.

And next week's building competition can help him prove that! If he can bring the Ocelots to victory, then he might be able to finally stand proud next to you.

"Are you worried about it? The competition?" Resting your cheek back on his hair, he leaned back from the desk to let you hug him. Your touch is comforting; mixed with the hint of fatigue in his eyes, he doesn't want you to let go.

"Yeah, I mean, I stress over it if it's not obvious enough." He let out a tired laugh to which you only smiled with a light kiss on the crown of his head. "I.. Just want to do well. I really want to impress your friends."

You didn't answer, encouraging him to continue with his words by gently massaging his tense shoulder, hoping he'd open up.

You're not entirely unaware of his insecurity of standing by your side. You love him, whether he's just a local builder or not, it doesn't matter to you. But it seems like he often overthinks about it, and you will keep on reassuring him that he is, in fact, much much more worthy than what he gives himself credit for.

"There will be Good Times With Scar there— As well as Grian and Welsknight. There's just a lot of pressure you know and I.." he paused, heaved another sigh before pressing his lips onto your open palm. "I don't want to disappoint you."

"Never." You immediately whispered back, hugging him and giving him enough pressure to know your intention, and how honest you are through the sound of your heartbeat. "I would never- and I tell you, never, ever be disappointed of you about anything."

That seemed to calm him down a little. His tense shoulder now slowly slumped down as he sink fully to your embrace, trying to absorb any warmth and affection you radiate for him, and only him.

"Though it's a different story when you stole my batch of cookies." And he snickered, "Or when you think it was a good idea to use mycelium near my garden. Hm?"

"Okay, right, I'm sorry about those—"

"Or when you stole my stash of limited elven kisses?"

"Alright, I get it, baby." He wheezes and snickered from your many accusations. Pulling your hand as you move from behind him to his front, hands holding your waist as he looks up to you. "No more, okay? You make me feel like a criminal there for making your garden mycelium farm."

"Guilt is the appropriate response, you thief." You faked a pout. Hand moving forward to hold his face, lightly scratching his jaw.

"But you know, I don't really mind you stealing from me sometimes." He hummed, raised an eyebrow as he tilted his head into one of your hands, still looking up to you with much adoration, as you slowly leaned down and bumped your forehead against his, "You did steal my heart, and I quite appreciate that."

And he smiled. His cheek burned red, even though you can barely see it due to being so close to him, you can feel that more heat are radiating from him along with how his grip on your hips tightened by your words.

"Well, I've you to thank for that too," he whispered before he leaned forward to kiss your forehead, your nose, your cheeks, and finally, planted a kiss to your lips.

Lukas is always gentle with his touches; but it seems like he needs a little bit more reassurance when you feel him seems to be getting a little more desperate than usual. With how he held you in place, you really have no reason but to reassure him back when you reciprocate his kiss.

After pulling back, he sighs to your lips, before pulling his head back and burying them to your neck. Feeling his muscles relaxed under your touch, you kissed his messy blonde locks.

"You're tired, baby. You need rest. Let's get you to bed, alright?" He shuffled. Groaning and mumbling protest under his breath, but he doesn't seem to really be fully against your advice.

You let out a small hearty laugh before pulling him away from you and kissing his nose. "Come on."

Pulling him up, and turning off the lights used in his working space, you dragged your now visibly sleep deprived boyfriend to where the two of you had shared your bed.

Seeing him so tired breaks a little something in your heart, but at least with how he clung to you till the morning, head nuzzled to your neck, is worth every diamond in the universe.

You wouldn't trade this for anything.

• But, when you started hanging out with the others (Jesse, Axel, Petra and Lukas), she started to feel very... Jealous. She didn't know how to handle it, she never felt that way before.

• This one time, you were joking around with Jesse and Olivia didn't feel good about it at all. She would stare at the two of you as you share some laughs. She felt her heart drop and her blood slightly boil. She hated that feeling but she couldn't help but feel angry towards him.

• I feel like she wouldn't really kill people, but most likely manipulate you into cutting people off. She wouldn't be harsh about it, she would just do it as "expressing her concerns".

• She'll only kills/hurt people if they get too close to you, she doesnt like to resort to violence first. When she does kill, she makes sure it looks like an accident so people won't suspect that it was a murder.

• If one of her friends, like Jesse or Axel, flirt with you or show any affection then she would give them a small warning or try to convince them to stop.

"Hey, I don't think they like the way you're flirting with them. You're making them uncomfortable..."

"You shouldn't push yourself onto them, what if they're not into that! Please, calm down, you're gonna scare them off."

• And if they don't listen, or they show more bold affections then that's when the threats start appearing.

"Leave them alone or I'll make sure no one will ever see you again."

"I'm not gonna tell you again, stop it, now. You're not gonna like where this ends up.

• She doesn't wanna hurt her friends but she'll do it if it means having you to herself.

I'll compensate you for those too." They spoke absentmindedly, almost entirely dismissing her offer. "Oh, and soul sand if you run into any. I think I'll be expanding my netherwart farm."

     "Blaze cream and magma powder, right, if I run into any-" Petra rolled her eyes, idly poking at one of the other's many potion stands. With a blaze rod standing proud in the middle, it was naturally warm to the touch. "-Anyways, I'm just saying, you should leave home more often! Leave your little hole!
