Forcing myself to write fanfic again after 10+ yrs. For @thedrabblecollective

A/N: This is not set during any specific game, though I want to say it's vaguely post-Y4. 100 word limit.

“Hey.” A familiar voice sounded to Daigo’s right. When he cracked his eyes the office was listing gently side to side. Daigo turned his face back into his elbow.

Glass scraped across wood and he could smell the sharp scent of Majima’s leather gloves. “Ya’ve had enough to drink today, boss-chan. C’mon. Let’s get ya up.”

“You’re not one to talk,” Daigo rasped. He didn’t resist as Majima slung him up from his desk.

“Let’s tuck ya in.” That fond tone made Daigo’s face warm. 

“I’m sorry,” he muttered into Majima’s shoulder. The other just sighed, and led him out.

“Not bad, boss-chan!” The dagger whistled past his head. Daigo spun and slammed his elbow into Majima's back, making the other stagger. Majima dodged his sweeping kick and planted a foot in Daigo’s solar plexus, sending him crashing to the floor. The world greyed out for a few seconds, fire spreading across his chest. Daigo coughed harshly, struggling for air. “Fuckin’ sheesh,” he heard Majima say, over the cheers from his Family, “You saw that shit, kyodai? He almost had me there. Li’l shit.” “I think ya hit him too hard.” “Naw, look. He’s gettin up.” Majima twirled his dagger. “Kiryu’s boy through and through.”
