"Some Maggia guy who got lucky with a knife," he muttered from beneath his mask, trying to suppress a wince as he carefully used his webs to cover the long gash in his arm before moving on to his leg- also in a similar state. He'd moved fast enough to avoid anything more serious, but not quite enough to avoid any injury. It probably had something to do with the fact that he hadn't slept properly in a day or two but... Well, he'd needed to get away from Peter Parker's problems for a while. Away from the empty apartment that still didn't feel like home- just the place he kept his stuff. And slept. Sometimes.

"Looks worse than it is," he said, attempting to joke a little even if his heart wasn't in it at the moment. "I'll be fine. Thanks."
