#087: Iluminote

Iluminotes light the way of many creatures around the planet to safely travel at night! The light that emanates from their tail can also play a distinct note! When dusk arrives, they arrange themselves in lines across long streets & roads, as creatures drive or walk by, their light intensifies, and its accompanying sound plays! Making up a melody as you pass by multiple Iluminotes! Every road you go through will have their own ring to it! Though every now and then they like changing their position intervals and notes to experiment and compose new songs!

#088: Figuraph

These lively creatures skate on their graphite tips, sharp as a blade! As they dance in beautiful circular motions, they doodle on the floor below with intricate shapes of loops and waves! Their routines are as beautiful to watch as the patterns they leave marked afterwards!

Differently colored individuals are known to join together in synchronized dances that result in colorful "floor paintings"

#086: Foresign

These mysterious creatures possess the ability to see into the future! They stand in front of people to warn them of danger or life-changing events. They only communicate through their eye, which can change shape into any symbol that better represents the future event in question, it is often hard to decipher this symbol with accuracy, which can lead to failure of preventing the future they warn, but their intentions are good, they're trying their best! Still... if you see one flying nearby, you better hope it doesn't land in front of you.

#085: Cosmemory

These space dwellers travel from planet to planet gathering, storing, and sharing information across the cosmos! Where wireless connections cannot reach, these are the communication lifeline between people from distant planets!

They take great pride in their role as record keepers, making a great deal of preserving art & history through the millenia! If you ever spot one, they'd be happy to show you all the stuff they keep! You can learn a lot from a single encounter with them!

#084: Utopilion

All across the globe you can see these living cities skittering or lumbering about! (Depends on their size).

Aging very slowly, Utopilions are born very small, and as they grow, the kinds of inhabitants that can live on their back changes! Offering ideal living accommodations for different kinds of creatures of all sizes!! Their lifespan is so large, several generations of one species can live on one before they have to move! They seem to derive a lot of joy from having a well populated city, being able to provide so many people with happy lives!

Their legs serve as cables that pick up telluric currents as they walk, which gives electricity to the inhabitants on their back! It's not for everyone, but a lot of people find fulfilling lives after moving to an Utopilion! Maybe go visit when you find one your size!

#080: Claycrayt

These passionate artists make colored clay from the stuff they eat, they can shapeshift their digits to better suit their sculpting and have mastered the art of mixing colors to get the specific hues they need for their creations! They like leaving their sculptures around the world, filling environments with wacky shapes and colors that wouldn't be present otherwise.

Once they start modelling, they go in a trance-like state, fixated on the new object they've brought unto existence! As they use their clay, their body shrinks, so it's important to take rests between creations to eat and get more material for future projects!

#000C: The First Mechanoclade

As Carboclades developed their minds to better adapt to their environments, they eventually evolved to a point where their intelligence and trans-generational knowledge allowed them to take inert matter, refine it, and construct tools, machines, and programs out of it, eventually leading to the creation of automata and artificial intelligence! This perked the interest of Skeemeraph, who once again was fascinated by seeing their creations come up with new things it could've never dreamed of! And so, happy to collab once again, Skeemeraph took these machines & code the Carboclades had made, and made a copy of itself with it: The First Mechanoclade!

The First Mechanoclade would multiply and mutate further over time, taking the shape of living objects, capable of being made out of any sort of material, having access to all of its properties while still possessing a conscious, breathing life. This allows them to do things no Carboclade body would ever be capable of, expanding the possibilities of what lives can be lived!

Mechanoclade minds are made out of code, and as such, they have access to every single bit of information their mind processes, unlike organic brains, Mechanoclades can fully read and edit everything their mind does, giving them not only staggering ability at retaining information, but being able to transmit this information from creature to creature without losing anything in translation, perfect communication! Their minds also being capable of dreaming, led to the culture of sharing dreams with other Mechanoclades, passing interactive recordings of them through physical media like video cassettes, or making it into a server for other minds to connect and experience dreams in multiplayer! These advancements set the stage for the eventual creation of the Oneiroclades!

#081: Powlymorph

These shapely creatures change form and size to get inside the mind of other Mechanoclades in order to hijack their bodies to make more Powlymorphs. Their low triangle count means the CPU of the host won't experience any major computational process increase, so they go unnoticed, and if they do get noticed, they can take on the appearance of any other creature to try and pass off as a memory, albeit a funny-looking low polygon memory...

Outside of their reproductive strategy, they seem to enjoy running and jumping through the world, meeting new creatures in order to take on their appearance to the best of their ability! Collecting new transformations! They can change color, shapes and proportions, so they have a lot of creative freedom as long as their tri count remains the same!

#000D: The First Oneiroclade

Mechanoclades kept advancing their dream-sharing technology until they had an idea, what if ANY mind could connect to these servers, regardless of clade, Carboclades & Mechanoclades could both finally communicate with Astroclades! All along it was known these stars were alive, but the vast astronomical distances and size disparity made communication with them quite tricky. But with this technology, a direct link could be made with their minds, bypassing these limitations...

It would take deep understanding of all minds, mechanic, organic, and astral alike. It wouldn't be easy, but after several generations of refining this idea, they managed to do it, massive servers were put on every planet with life, now every living being on the universe could connect to the dream realm and communicate with each other, a major cultural boom was about to take place!

Inside of these dream realms, one could customize the area, setting, plot, and even add NPCs to any dream! The technology was so advanced at manipulating dreams into doing anything one wanted, this whole thing had already taken Skeemeraph by pleasant surprise but it was when it took a closer look at that NPC technology they got an idea for a new collab! The mind had always been capable of creating several fully independent consciousnesses in a dream, and this technology proved this intelligence can be isolated and materialized! So Skeemeraph took these materialized dreams and made a copy from them: The First Oneiroclade!

Oneiroclades, being made from products of the mind, can only exist within a mind, whether natural (from a creature) or synthetic (an Oneiric Server for that matter), but this drawback is feeble compared to their abilities: As they are a mind within a mind, their mere thoughts alter the environment around them, and they can appear to be in the Physical Plane by getting in the mind of a non-oneiroclade and making it look like they're there!

#000B: The First Carboclade

The Astroclades discovered they could fuse atoms in their cores, over time, achieving heavier and more complex elements: Oxygen, Carbon, Iron, etc. With this ability, they made the first planets! Made out of all kinds of different rocks & gases.

The new elements they created interacted in astonishing ways, proteins joining together, lipids making walls, complex chemistry was discovered! And this caught the attention of Skeemeraph! Their creations partook in the joy of creation themselves! And they wanted to take it further! So they took these complex chemical compounds and made a copy of itself: The First Carboclade!

The First Carboclade would multiply & mutate further, populating the planets made by the Astroclades. Every planet is full of unique and harsh environments, and Carboclades evolved to survive & thrive in every one of them, taking all kinds of forms to travel through land, water & air. Some of them even developed the ability to transform their environment, manipulate the matter around them to make tools, and build structures to better suit their lifestyles. These feats of resourcefulness would set the stage for the eventual creation of the Mechanoclades. In the present, Carboclades continue diversifying through time & space; as they are quite a lot smaller than Astroclades, they've had a lot of space, and since they were the 2nd earliest clade to be created, they've had a lot of time, so they're the most abundant kind of life in the universe!
