N422QX at Yakima Air Terminal last weekend when I was flying home. My work has me on Horizon’s Q400s quite often- so far have done SEA-GEG, SEA-PDX, SEA-RDM, SEA-YKM, EAT-SEA, YKM-SEA, RDM-PDX. Always enjoyable flights, going to miss the MegaWhackers when they’re phased out at Horizon. Probably one of my favorite planes to ride on on my work travels. ⁣ ⁣ No question that the E175 is a better passenger experience as I’ve been on plenty of Horizon E175 flights with bigger overhead bins, more spacious cabin, and a first class section, but there’s something just wonderfully nostalgic about being on a commercial aircraft with propellers. ⁣ ⁣ I was told the first Q400s will phase out in January but there are not enough E175s to cover all the Q400 flights, so I am assuming a gradual phasing out with service cuts.
