Some fun mermaid-esque things to do!
go swimming at the beach (if possible)
Collect seashells!
Swim around, look for fishes with goggles on!
Make sure you packed yummy snacks!
Search for fishies in the ocean
Make a small tide pool! this means making a big hole where the water will fill up and you can look for creatures in it!!
Make a sand castle!
Go hunting for pretty shells!
Have a picnic in an area with calming breeze
IF NOT AT BEACH...
Swim in a pool!
Find a way to get sand, like at a sand pit at the park, stick it together with water, and make a sand castle!

Use flippers to swim around super duper fast
Find/buy some water toys to play with!

Mercor struck me as having the vibes of someone who could and would happily fuck up the Devil's teacher's pet's whole day for the right price. If Jonathan hadn't already signed and sold himself over to Death itself, he probably would've been open to haggling
