Blockchain Vulnerabilities: How to Avoid Writing Vulnerable Code and Vulnerable ERC20 Tokens

The way we think about a secure exchange of funds and information has been altered by blockchain technology.

These flaws were found not long after the batchOverflow attack was used. Researchers looked into questionable transactions left by attackers to locate them.

The primary indicator of questionable transactions was an abnormally high transfer rate, which occasionally exceeded the total supply of a token. For instance, it’s standard procedure when creating Ethereum smart contracts to restrict access to particular features to a single account. Usually, that account is referred to as the owner.

And the AURA token experienced precisely this. The function that sets the owner isn’t restricted by an ownerOnly modification, even though the functions inside the contract are. Consequently, anybody can use the setOwner function to select a random owner by calling the contract. Fortunately, at this point the owner account can do nothing more than a regular user, so this issue is left safely unpatched.

Flavor For review, we received the Puffmi C800 in 4 different flavors: Passion Fruit Mango, Pineapple Ice, Cool Mint, and Blueberry Sour Raspberry. As for the minty notes, it's a deliciously bold and sweet wintergreen flavor that I fully enjoyed. 5/5 Blueberry Sour Raspberry – This flavor has a really good handle on the ‘sour’ aspect of the Raspberry. A lot of sour raspberry flavors miss the mark here and just taste sweet. But Puffmi has definitely delivered the true sour candy experience, which is balanced nicely with the sweet and tangy notes of the blueberry. 5/5 3. Design & Quality Design The Puffmi C800 has a simple yet vibrant design. The body is a classic pen shape but flattened. The vape is visually subdivided into two areas with a shiny colored aluminum connector bridging the bottom and top pieces. The bottom section is the brightly colored battery compartment encased in a plastic cover. On the front of this section, you’ll find the Puffmi branding, and on the back is the model, flavor, and some other key information. The top section comprises the tank and mouthpiece molded from a single piece of colored polycarbonate plastic. The plastic is translucent, allowing for easy viewing of the e-juice level so you can monitor how much juice is left. A slim duckbill-style mouthpiece completes the vape. Because of the flavors we received for review, we have two colorways: blue and yellow. There do seem to be some differences between flavors with the same core color. For example, the Cool Mint flavor has a blue base with a green gradient at the bottom, while the Blueberry Sour Raspberry has a blue base with a shimmery purple gradient at the bottom. The Puffmi C800 has no advanced features like a recharging port, multicolored battery indicators, or airflow control. Instead, Puffmi keeps things simple and classic, delivering a visually appealing design and great flavors in a compact package. Durability The Puffmi C800 isn’t designed for long-term durability because it has a small tank capacity holding on 2 mL. After about 800 puffs, when the e-juice level is getting low, the battery charge will run out. For most moderate to high-use vapers, this will occur within a few days. As such, the Puffmi C800 only needs to survive for a few weeks (in extreme cases with light and sporadic use). The design and form factor signal that the disposable should have no issues lasting through its expected lifespan. Does the Puffmi C800 leak? The Puffmi C800 has a long inner mouthpiece airflow tube, which keeps the e-juice safely confined within the tank. During the review period, there were no leaking issues, so we can confidently recommend this vape for users that are especially concerned about leakage. Ergonomics As far as the ergonomics go, the pen style of the C800 allows for a comfortable handhold when vaping. The plastic and aluminum body keeps the device cool in your hand, and the tapered mouthpiece offers a good lip seal for each inhale. 4. Battery and Charging The 800 mAh battery within the Puffmi C800 was chosen not only as a lightweight option but also to last for the required 800 puffs. Because the disposable is not rechargeable, the battery needed to be able to last until the e-juice was nearly gone, without lasting so long that the vaper would be pulling dry hits. This was tested with the Cool Mint flavor, we used the device until the battery died. At no point were there any dry hits, and the amount of e-juice left was minimal, meaning Puffmi has hit just the right balance for these devices. 5. Performance The Puffmi C800 employs a FEELM ceramic coil to consistently produce cool, top-tier hits with every puff, leading to an outstanding flavor experience. Every inhalation results in an enticingly rich explosion of taste. This disposable device is particularly attractive to vaping beginners due to its gentle, airy hits.
