2023-2024 so far really has been the Year of Teto. maybe its the beginning of the Decade of Teto. Century of Teto.
#between her sv bank releasing last year and so many songs using both her sv and utau banks becoming like#huge megahits in both vsynth and utaite scenes#mesmerizer is huge. override is huge. meal announcing dragon is huge. thats just to name a few#sasuke haraguchi's work with her utau bank specifically has been monumental. hitomania and igaku are gigantic#i have a feeling the just release yureko might blow up too. ive already seen people make usts for it and its been out like. a day LOL#whether its popular for parodies like favourite meal dragon or popular with utaite like override or popular with vsynth coverists like#mesmerizer or popular with everyone like. also mesmerizer. and hitomania and igaku#year of teto. we are in teto's world now#we've always had eras like this. a specifica vocal synth becoming used for a lot of hit songs#the early days right after miku was released were pretty dominated by her. and we definitely had a pretty long ia phase#a vflower phase as well and i think we're just at the edge of the cevio kafu phase we've been in for the past few years#thats not to say people will stop using those guys. they're popular for a reason. but i think its the beginning of the teto phase#the teto phase has begun. the teto phase has begun
