what was the harm right? the worse they could do was not call him back and it wouldn't be the first time it happened.

so, why not give it a chance.

that's how taegeun found himself in a small room, recording this audition? introduction video? either way, it was time to record. "hello, this is kwon taegeun." he gave a bow, paired with a v pose. why not be a little fun? it didn't take long for him to launch into the answers.

"i would say, studio delta would be my first choice of a company, followed by sr media. i think both companies have the sound that i lean towards and the future i want to create for myself." if he was being honest, he would take either company. lime wasn't for him but it wasn't if he'd turn down an opportunity at a contract, he was ready to take whatever they wanted to give out. but if he thought about personal goals as well, studio delta would be best, followed by sr.

hopefully, he didn't come across as too picky on camera.

"for any experience i had, i was a trainee for a few months at an unknown company…i quickly found out it was shady and left. since then, I've been taking vocal lessons for about five years now…and i'm currently on a dance crew, we give street performances and often sign up for festivals and dance competitions. during high school, i attended an arts school as well, it was the main reason i made the move to seoul." there was no formal experience but he had a lot heart, that had to count for something right?

"as for my skills, i would say that i'm fairly well rounded for being self-taught." did it sound like bragging? he wasn't sure but tae also didn't want to downplay himself. if anyone was going to talk him up, he'd have to talk himself up. which rolled right into his next point, "i'm also fluent in English…mainly through tutoring, i think i can translate fairly well and understand pretty easily. i can't say i sound the best but i can communicate myself clearly. and i have a large interest in music, as far as lyric writing and production, that inspired me to pick up the drums and guitar…if i want to create music…it'd be good to know how to play right? that aside, this pretty random and has nothing to do with being an idol but i also love wood-working, there's something calming about it and i love creating, art and everything having to do with that."

it was rambling towards the end, but that would be endearing right? tae didn't stop to think about it. he wanted this to be a real first take and look into him.

"to finish it off, I think I enjoy a variety are artist, some of my favorites are DARL!NG, MFBTY and 2PM."

A mãe de Hyunwoo diz que ele sempre foi um bebê sorridente e facilmente se jogava nos braços alheios, o que combinou com sua personalidade extrovertida na adolescência. Ele gostava de fazer os outros sorrirem, seja com suas piadas idiotas na sala ou nas apresentações de hip hop na escola.

Nasceu na Coreia, mas mudou-se para Sydney com poucos meses de vida. Seus pais fizeram questão de manter o contato do garoto com suas raízes e foi em um dos eventos voltados para cultura coreana que conheceu o k-pop. Assim tornou-se fã dos grupos e gostava de usar as músicas para suas coreografias na academia de dança.

A Pluto Entertainment estava realizando audições na Austrália e Hyunwoo, com 17 anos, tinha ido apenas acompanhar um amigo, mas foi convidado a participar do processo e para sua surpresa: tinha sido aprovado.

Os pais do garoto relutaram em deixá-lo iniciar na empresa como trainee, sua mãe só aceitou de fato depois de viajar junto com o filho para a Coreia e averiguar a empresa.

Ganhou muitos fãs internacionais ao participar do reality show de pré-debut da empresa, garantindo assim sua vaga no grupo. Hyunwoo obteve a posição de dançarino principal e rapper, ele era muito habilidoso decorando as letras e tinha um bom flow (ele sempre soube que memorizar todas as músicas da Nicki Minaj serviria para algo).

Adotou Tom como seu nome artístico, também sendo chamado de Tommy pelos fãs. Participa de vários programas de variedade e por isso está acompanhando o seu colega de grupo nas gravações do reality show We Got Married. Iria fazer apenas uma participação especial, mas acabou sendo convidado para compor a banca de comentadores fixo do programa.
