A week after the Kamino Incident, all of us, Class A1 students are moved to live a life together at UA in a newly built building called Heights Alliance. Boys were on the left wing of the building while girls got the right wing of it. The first floor is the common room, a room we all frequently hang out, whether alone or with friends and it's not unusual to pass by someone while you're in the common room.

But... rarely is someone singing.

And that someone is none other than the boom boy. Bakugou Katsuki, by himself, singing while sitting on the green couch you always occupied, with his back facing you.

You're on your way for your midnight snack when you came across this severely unusual situation that has less than a 00.001% chance of happening and that has your body stunned with your eyes staring at the back of the softly singing boy.

His head slowly moves from side to side as if he's on the verge of falling asleep while his mouth still sings the song, a song you're still trying to decipher because of how slowly he sang it.

“Haa... iya da... nani mo kamo ga iya da”

Your eyes deliberately start widening as your brain finally catches the lyric he's singing and your feet start stepping closer toward him until you're standing directly behind him. Now, the lyrics could not be more clear to your ears.

“Jibun wo mitomerarenai jibun ga

yurusenakute..”

And being this close, you notice something you didn't earlier.

𝐵𝑎𝑘𝑢𝑔𝑜𝑢'𝑠 𝑐𝑟𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔?! Your mouth gaps in shock. You didn't catch his sobbing earlier but now both his soft sobs and shivering are very, very visible.

You start to frown in worry, hesitating whether you should talk to him or just leave him to his sorrow since knowing Bakugou, he'd hate it if someone, especially an extra like you saw him crying, shaking, and singing. But to just leave him... it's going to leave a sour taste in your mouth for sure.

So you made up your mind and tightly balled your palm into a fist, strengthening your will before confronting this boom boy.

𝐼'𝑙𝑙 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑦 𝑏𝑒 𝑘𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑤ℎ𝑜 𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑠. You thought before letting off a breath and slowly putting your now-shaking palm on top of his shoulder.

The moment your palm makes contact with his shoulder, he jolts and sharply turns toward me, eyes brimming with tears as he curses softly directly at your face but not to you.

"Fuck.." He whispers to himself. He plucks away the earphones and set them aside before wiping his eyes furiously. "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?!" He suddenly barks at you as you remove your hand from his shoulder.

You shrug at him as you climb onto the couch from behind, already used to his sudden yells and screams, "Nothing. I was on my way to the fridge for some snacks, and I accidentally stumbled into this.... sorrow scene of yours. Are you okay?"

You ask. You keep your voice neutral and soft as you didn't want him to think you're pitying him. You are though. But like, who wouldn't? The Angry chihuahua that always barks and screams is crying AND singing. That's enough reason to be worried.

He stays silent, eyes looking down at his lap as you sit beside him at a very comfortable distance so that it doesn't feel like you're violating his space. A few seconds went but nothing come out of his mouth, So you open your mouth, just about to take back your much sincere worries before you heard a sigh leave his mouth, halting you from speaking and leaving you with a gaping mouth.

He rubs his face, tiredness can be seen now as he turns his crimson eyes to meet yours. "I feel like shit. Everything went bonkers. And it's all my fault." He said, clenching his jaws. Regret and guilt laced the edge of his words as he tightly balled his fist.

Your eyes went wide in shock at his honesty. You seriously thought he would've just told you to fuck off or something but he answers them! It was really hard to believe that this guy has been through so much stuff and still managed to maintain such a strong front.

You let out a small sigh before you speak, your voice is softened by the noiseless night as you look into each other's eyes. "How is it your fault, Bakugou? It was against your will. You got kidnapped. Nobody expects any attacks at the training camp. We were caught off guard." You said as another sigh left your mouth.

You move your eyes away from his and look up to the ceiling before you continue, "We're grateful as heck to be able to get you in one piece and still alive. The sheer relief of knowing you're still alive lets a lot of people sleep right now. Without any guilt or regret." You said, in relief too.

This seemed to make his mood brighten a little, as you look back over at him. You see his lips twitch and smile a bit. His red eyes glance back at you again before he looks forward once more, his cheeks becoming slightly rosy. "Thanks..." He mumbles and his voice comes out low and deep.

You choke on your saliva as you let out a repeated cough, crouching a bit, as he gave you a look of concern, "Are you okay?!" He asks while slowly tapping your back. You look back at him with a bewildered look, "I can't believe I lived to see you blushing! Miracles after Miracles!" You joke loudly, not even caring that we're in the middle of the night.

Bakugou furrows his eyebrows a bit before a chuckle left his mouth. He pushes you from the couch and flips you off. "You're gonna get killed if you blab about this, Y/n." He said sweetly, but the finger and words aren't exactly sweet. You let off a laugh, flipping him back, as you both continue bantering with each other until a sudden sound of footsteps caught you guys' attention as you ran back to your room, trying to hold back your laughter as he did the same.

He will never admit this and that's fine, but you knew you did the right thing coming up and talking to him. You can see in his laughing face how much he appreciates this. He flips me off too much though. Fucking Chihuahua.
