31.1.2021: I keep thinking about how every semester of college feels like the hardest thing ever and somehow every semester seems to get harder and harder! I suppose that in itself is motivation... really hope we get some real snow although watching the flurries on yesterday was absolutely lovely :’) week 3 goals here we go...

22.3.2021: COMPS WEEK! I can’t think of anything else... really grateful that my mom is visiting and making food for me this week :’) Luckily, other things are less busy this week so I can focus on taking care of myself and last minute preparations for comps but I still want to try to not push everything to the week after. Looking forward to this finally being done!!

7.3.2021: Sometimes a desk is actually just your futon and lap :) This week has been odd... i’ve had super full productive crammy work days and then days where i don’t do anything. I’m not sure that’s is working out so well for me? So hoping I can have a little more balance this week. Although, pretty sure I won’t be having any balance until after March 26th 😭

14.3.2021: i almost forgot it was pi day!!! hell yeah. anyway what a week last week. i’m getting stress sick already and comps are still two weeks out. going to be a hard couple of weeks. definitely feel my sanity slipping away a bit. there is something fun about delving into old material and studying for my comprehensives but it just doesn’t hit in these covid times... hope everyone is well! pic is my messy desk right now. #messydeskrights!!!!!

21.2.2021: This week my internship essays are due and I have my first exam of midterms! But at the end of the week, my fully vaccinated grandparents are coming to visit :D first time I have had something to look forward to like that in a while. Hope everyone has a great week!

Since I want to go to german grad school for climate science, it seems well worth my time to start learning the vocab to describe climate change in german! The book I used [pictured right] is an explanation of climate change to the layperson that I got when I was in Berlin last summer (s/o to Dussmann!)

Weil ich in Deutschland Klimawissenschaft studieren möchte, glaube ich, dass es sich lohnt zu lernen, die deutsche Wörter die man nutzt, Klimawandel zu beschreiben. Das Buch, das ich benutzt habe [abgebildet rechts], ist eine Erklärung der Klimawandel für dem Laie, das ich letztes Sommer in Berlin gekauft habe.

7.2.2021: Last week was a bit of a lull and which looks like its continuing this week which means I can get started on some big projects which I am grateful for. Really enjoyed the snow this week even if it was short lived both times. Hoping this week is happy and productive and I spend less time on my computer!

7.4.2021: Last week was one of the hardest weeks I’ve ever had. A combination of catching up on work because of comps the week before, a prof accusing me and friends of copying along with a horrible grade, and then an infection coming back. Oof am I glad its over. Things are looking up now :D vaccine tomorrow! End of the semester approaching! Weather getting warmer! Sending good vibes to whoever reads this!

18.1.2021: Got a head start a lecture videos today, am really excited and nervous for this class. The semester starts tomorrow so time to write some big goals for the week!

1.3.2021: Last week was both the worst and the best week of the semester. The worst because of how much work I had to do to stay afloat and the best because my grandparents came and I got to take a break from the weekly toil! I think it gave me some perspective and a new push of motivation to get things done. I feel more motivated and well rested now! Amazing... breaks work!! Well its going to be another very busy week and I am already very stressed out... oh well, everything is temporary :)

ich habe beschlossen, ein deutsche “bullet journal” anzufangen. ich habe so eine Journal noch nie genutzt also ich freue mich darauf! ich habe von ein altes 11freunde Magazin diese Covers collagiert und bin eigentlich sehr stolz darauf! hat jemanden irgendeine Tips, wie man sich daranmachen eine bullet journal zu tun?

i have decided to start a german bullet journal. i have never used one before so i’m quite excited! i collaged the covers from an old 11freunde magazine and am actually very proud of it. does anyone have any tips on how to go about a language bullet journal?

14.2.2021: Valentine’s day was spent unable to do most of the work I wanted to do. I guess I needed a break, looking at my scribbled planner from this week, but it is rather unfortunate because I had a lot of work to do today all the same. Here’s to a week of productivity but also to know when I need a break :)
