*the* finale for arcaea main story 1,marking a significant point of the game where the story comes to an end with the climax of the two’s conflict. So is it good? No. The general flow of the chart feels forced—the 6k parts have questionable flow and it really just feels notes are jumbled up for the difficulty sake. The pattern placement,especially triangle stream are god awful to aim on,and the ending 6k forces your finger position in a very awkward method where it only feels like the player is dragged into a regular high difficulty finale that is hard for the sake of being hard,abandoning any kind of flow. It also also doesn’t help with how the chart is structured in the way the breaks are very very jarring to do,the arcs being incredibly easy to miss on easily when you aren’t microprecise in the hitbox, the post-beginning section is very weird to execute,the 6k is incredibly janky to execute and the ending being just one of the most insane endkill doesn’t help it either. That being said,the chart heavily awards who puts time in learning and trying to execute the said chart,and that its the first attempt on the said way difficulty is planned out, it is given a 4/10 for its performances.

The first ever beyond chain final song recorded until now(second one coming at 25th),with it being the remastered version of the first ever higher difficulty song,it also remasters the initial gimmick of the chart. So how does it go? It is actually very good! The chart has a very great flow (excluding abrupt cut to the system reboot: but it does wonder in this chart,in a way the cut is a special way to introduce the special gimmick of the middle drop.),the chart is structured that each gimmick is a reference to the original in a way it heavily tests how player’s positioning,and how they can read the chart. The patterns in this chart is a chef’s kiss for how it generates satisfaction when a player hits them right. The gimmicks in this chart are mostly a direct reference to the original chart/song,the final slowdown>speedramp,the beginning-middrop slow,they are crafted by care. The only issue i find with this chart that drags it down is by that despite the chart heavily awards learning,it is incredibly shitmissy in the process and can easily result in frustration while attempting so. While yes,learning a chart can be very frustrating,its normal,but pragres is beyond frustrating in terms of learning a chart,and if a chart manages to make general people suffocate on shitmiss more than learn ,i wont give it higher than 9,hence a 8/10.

Before i continue,let me rectify on whats the four mark. Speed is just how much reliant a chart’s difficulty is on the speed,and so on for tech. Flow is based on how a player feels on playing the chart,whether if they enjoy flowing with the chart or finds it jarring and abrupt,and execution is literal. Now that i explained the four marking scheme,tempest beyond is a chart that throws all of them away except for speed,because dear love of god the chart is an actual bad one,and i barely gives out “bad” chart rating to any chart in this game. This chart,with the most batshit unfair endkill and the general pacing is beyond horrible,the chart is just a scream of “unga bunga speed stream go brrr” without any other consideration of any aspect to make a chart fun,the flow is absolutely tarnished,the player won’t find it fun; they will only find it as a hand-wrecking nonstop nightmare because theres absolutely no break in the said chart. The slow section is extremely abrupt and it just feels like the song just made it that way so the chart can be designed that way,the pattern padding is not only shitmissy but ridiculous to execute,the ending in particular is the perfect example.(cont)
