I'm trying to avoid getting spoiled so I haven't looked up what's happening in the Jp server's main story, but for my own sanity I need to ask; is the story at a point where we know whether Lilia will get better/survive his almost-empty magic reserves..? Was it a true death flag from the start or only a plot device for malleus' overblot....?

not yet! I do think they're going to get back to it eventually, but -- keeping it as low spoilers as possible -- there's been...let's just say a LOT going on in the meantime.

I enjoy the implication in Origins that Zevran isn't a very good fighter when we meet him and then after Origins he was utterly terrorizing the Crows. All the levels he gained in the Warden's party actually made him a canonically, significantly more dangerous fighter than he was when the Warden met him.

So my general idea is that Kalina isn’t Anti-Cassandra, she’s Anti-Kristen.

Say what you will about the Nightmare King, but he got supporters and worshippers. He had power with the strength and will to use it. A being who inspired Fear and had turned a decent chunk of Spyre into a demi-plane.

Cassandra is a nervous wreck being kept afloat by Kristen and fucking Craig.

From Kalina’s “I dont want to die and I want to support my goddess” perspective, being the Nightmare King was objectively better. Obviously Cassandra is happier like this, and I think Kristen has made several serious steps in the right direction but Kalina hasn’t seen that. She sees a divine being hanging on the thread of an ADHD-riddled Teenager.

Kalina is terrified.

I would not be surprised if Bakarath leaves behind a trail of worshippers who, instead of praying to the New God or Cassandra, will pray to the Nightmare King. Fear and Rage often go hand in hand, and a Fear God gets more worship then a Doubt God

🦚🌞Félix and Sunset Shimmer both stole magical jewelry and replaced it with identical copys. The main heroine Ladybug/Twilight Sparkle is their personal enemy. Both had their villain arc but resigned to the group and the magic of friendship. Félix wields the miraculous of emotion; Sunset Shimmer embodies the element of empathy. Both are top students. Sunset Shimmer insulted the human mane 6 kind of like Félix with Adriens phone videos. Both don't know the first thing about friendship.

I always though Mal's mom was meant to be like "Eleanor" but they stuck an M at the start honestly, Sobbing Emoji. But "Maleanor" also makes me feel less insane since in that scene where she's just handed egg Malleus to Lilia and went to battle, it sounds more like Lilia is saying "Maleanor" than "Meleanor" (Japanese accent pending). Mayhaps they went more with what it sounded like the characters were saying :0 (we don't talk about Doodle Suit to Paint The Roses)

the transliteration of her name is Marenoa (マレノア), which is what all the voice lines are saying! all the Draconias' names start with マレ (Malleus' grandma is Maleficia/マレフィシア) as a nod to Maleficent. :D it's almost certainly a take on Eleanor, which is Erenoa (エレノア), but her name is written in English at a couple points, and I was pretty surprised to see it was Mel instead of Mal!

and, like, that's fine, it wouldn't be first Twst romanization that's tripped me up (like Keito for Cater, I know that's something to do with the loanword specific to playing cards(?) but it's just not how my brain wants to read it). but now Eng has given us Maleanor! and someone else said it was spelled inconsistently between Maleanor and Maeleanor??????? so WHO KNOWS it's a SPELLING FREE-FOR-ALL

I AM torn on which I want to use, because Mel just sounds so cute to me (and is what I'm used to now), but...the Mal consistency is kinda too good to pass up. alas, alas, truly these are the most difficult conundrums of our times. 😔

I was rewatching some mlp episodes for fun and then a thought came to my mind: fairly odd parents a new wish x my little pony 😞 (a lot of the yaps on my page are going to be crossovers sorry I adore them)

So dev is basically twilight! He studies at the canterlot school for gifted unicorns. Now Celestia sees how alone he is and he usually to keeps to himself. She sends a letter to twilight and is like “I got you a new student :3333” and dev becomes twilight’s student. He’s very good at magic and stuff but SUCKS at friendship. He always has his nose in a book to either learn about magic more or business like his dad. Twilight sends him to the school of friendship where he meets Pegasus Hazel, unicorn Jasmine, Earth pony Winn! They try to befriend him but he’s having none of that!! Nope!! Friendship is lame!! I just think it would be really funny to see the whole mane 6 + maybe the princesses + starlight trying to get this kid some friends but no matter what they do bro doesn’t care 😭 like they try every friendship lesson in the book and he still fails ☹️

I like to think Luna sometimes visits him in his dreams to talk to him because they can somehow relate you know?

It would be so funny if he became the next twilight 😭😭

I have no idea if Cosmo, Wanda, and Peri exist in this au but I don’t really think it would change the story if they did 🤷‍♀️ so you can imagine them in there if you want!!
