Thank You, Magia Record. For Everything
even now, I can't believe that it's really gone. I started playing on NA when it released, and then moved to JP after the english servers shut down. but even before that, I was aware of this game- watching transformation videos and looking up plot synopsis on the wiki.
7 years is a long time. a lot happens. and this game has remained a companion for me throughout the ups and downs of that time
when I thought about what I wanted to do to say goodbye, I wanted to create something big, bold, that'd truly express how much it means to me. But in the end, EOS depression hit hard, so here's a sketch of the mikazuki villa girls instead. I'll probably still create that big piece of artwork sometime.
there's a lot of stuff I still want to create for this fandom, so I won't be going anywhere for a while. plus, I want to finish watching most of the stories that I haven't yet caught up on.
In the end, I guess moving forwards is pretty mundane. something's gone, and I'm gonna be sad about it, but in the meantime there's meals to eat and chores to do and life to live. It's how I think about the villa gang moving forwards after Iroha goes away- moving forwards one step at a time.
I'm not sure if I'll be playing excedera or not- right now the idea seems kind of overwhelming, and I think I'll wait to see more about the gameplay and story to see if I'll be interested.
but for now, thank you, everyone in this fandom who helped turn this madoka gacha game into something truly special and meaningful.

Review: Ooe trial version (Adelta)
A few days ago Adelta released the long-awaited trial version of their new game Ooe, so I really wanted to write a (short) review about it! The full game was originally scheduled to be released this summer, but it looks like we will have to be patient for a bit longer as the new release date will be somewhere in fall later this year. I have been following updates about this game for about three years now, so I don’t mind waiting a little longer! You can read a bit more information about the plot and the characters in one of my earlier blog posts here. To summarize, the game takes place in the 30th year of Showa (1955) and focuses on protagonist Oosaki, a detective who travels to the remote island of Ooejima after receiving a request from a client to visit the island and attend a ceremony on his behalf.
Tumblr media
The trial version covers the first part of the game, up until the first “incident”. Oosaki doesn't really have any friends or family, and lives in a boarding house in Suga, a short walk from Hiratsuka station near Kamakura. His boss Shinkiba, who runs the detective agency, informs him about a request he received from a client. The client, a man who calls himself Shizuma Daiba, asks Oosaki to attend the memorial service of actress Ooe An on his behalf. Originally, it was Daiba’s father who received the invitation, however he fell ill shortly afterwards. At first Daiba wanted to go in his place, but his father warned him to send someone else instead. Oosaki assumes that the person who invited everyone to the island is a relative of the actress, who passed away three years ago. Even though Oosaki never met her, he remembers reading news about her death.
Tumblr media
After a few more meetings, Oosaki makes preparations to travel to Ooejima. The island belongs to the Izu Island group and is located near Hachijojima. Originally, it was used as a military base during the Second World War, however after this it became uninhabited. Even though he has never been there, Oosaki knows about the island because his grandma who raised him was originally from this island. He always felt like he had to visit the island someday, as if it was calling for him. On his way to the island he meets Ariake, who’s also travelling to Ooejima for the memorial service. He's surprised to find out Ariake’s grandmother is also from the island, and similar to Oosaki, it’s his first time actually going there too.
Tumblr media
After arriving, they head to the Mikazuki inn, where they meet a trembling man trying to defend himself with a knife, who later introduces himself as Funeno. He also meets Shimbashi, a screenwriter who has a rather unique way of talking, who’s staying at the same inn. The next day, he meets the other group of people who are staying at a different inn (Takeshiba, Shijoumae, Hinode, Aomi and Shiodome). When the ceremony is about to start, they realize that the person who invited them to the island isn’t there. A monk called Toyosu was sent on their behalf. After the ceremony they have dinner together, but when Funeno is asked to join them, he seems to be expriencing some kind of flashback, and starts shouting at them. Embarrassed by his own reaction, he immediately leaves the room.
Tumblr media
Shortly afterwards Shimbashi, who always skips his meals, walks in and asks why Oosaki and Ariake are trying to prank him by playing creepy music at the inn. Confused, they follow him. Soon enough they find a record player in a small hidden room near the stairs. At first they think Funeno did this, but then they find his dead body in Oosaki’s room. They meet up with the others and Shijoumae suspects it was a suicide because sleeping pills were found near his body, but Oosaki isn’t convinced. Aomi points out that the telephone has also been destroyed with an axe. Shiodome insists that they at least finish the ritual for Ooe An, which requires burning a straw figure to send off the spirit of the deceased. Even though nobody really feels like doing this anymore after Funeno’s death, they try to collect the materials required.
Tumblr media
While the others make their preparations, Oosaki thinks about who the culprit could be. He suspects Shimbashi, Toyosu, Shiodome and Ariake, as they came with him to Mikazuki inn. As they finish the ritual by burning the straw figure, they realize that someone swapped it with Funeno’s body. Afterwards, Shiodome reveals that all this time he actually had Funeno’s invitation letter. One thing Oosaki didn’t know is that all the letters were swapped, and that the invitation letters also included a list of crimes the other person had committed. In Funeno’s case, he killed his younger sister. They decide to return each other’s letters, however because Oosaki doesn’t have one, nobody seems to have Shimbashi's letter. Shiodome tries changing the topic, but Oosaki is determined to find out who killed Funeno, and that’s when the trial version ends.
Tumblr media
Thoughts & Impressions After waiting for this game for a long time I was so happy to finally see all the characters interact with each other! The trial version was pretty long too, it took me over 6 hours to finish and I think I read pretty fast, so it might be even longer. I have so many theories about what could possibly happen next but it’s hard to put it all into words! The music, art and story are all amazing so far. It's interesting to see how some of the characters already know each other too, although most of them only met at Ooe An's funeral years ago.
One thing I was thinking about is that Funeno was extremely nervous whenever he was talking to Oosaki (who introduced himself as Daiba) and also knew that they had each other’s invitations, so I think he got the invitation of Daiba’s father. Oosaki mentions he never saw any invitation, so I think it was never shown to him, probably on purpose... I am curious about Ooe An too, the game mentions that she committed suicide by burning herself. However, when Oosaki asks Shimbashi what kind of person she was, he doesn’t really answer and laughs when Oosaki assumes she was an innocent girl. Takeshiba mentions that some theorize that she never actually died, but Shijoumae (a surgeon) and Ariake (who works at a funeral home) both saw her body, so they find that hard to believe.
So far I think my favorite character is Ariake because he's very cute (some of the other characters also agree lol), but honestly everyone seemed interesting. I wonder if Hinode will ever talk because his voice actor is still hidden. I'm also interested in Daiba and why him and Oosaki look identical, they do both have family members from Ooejima, so could they actually be related? In a lot of the promotional material Daiba was introduced as a side character, however it looks like the game does have an additional route (the website says 9 routes + α) so maybe we will get a Daiba route too. For now I will try to be patient until the full game's released in fall!

I’m the type of person that usually bottle up my feeling unintentionally. I may like to play stupid joke and hang out casually but something in me prevent me to actually feel the happy and sadness. Like it’s always so hard to let myself enjoy that feeling . Then…….I experience love at first talk with Lilia. I see him when people get hype about the release character art before. I think he quite interesting but nothing more. He fleeting away but after he back in my life when I curiously want to know who t f is Rook that my sister ramble about. In prologue as soon as I heard his voice I just fall for him. I remember continuously repeat that chapter when he appeared and wait painfully for his character release. Back then Diasomnia dorm aren’t available yet.
I fall for him and enjoy that spark. I make Daiya and we go for the ride for 5 year. It’s amazing actually. One thing that I first experience with him is that I feel like I lost him twice. Both in Diasomnia arc….at the start when he suddenly say I’ll be gone bye! And just today update that he actually die for a brief moment. It slowly hit me and it hit hard……I lost Lilia twice. Anymore of this is a bonus now. I always think in the beginning that my Yuu probably die first but never to think that I an out live him. I never feel this lost before cuz most of my man stay in the safe position. Mikazuki san for example stay in Honmaru and never be break ever. So to get punch by Lilia’s death it eyes opening to me. I feel thing when I’m with you Lilia. Not just happiness but sadness and shock too. You made me cry but I feel so warm knowing you as well. I’m not sure how can we going through after this but all I know and all I say is I love you. I love you so much that I don’t want to move on and meet anyone new anymore. I’m so lucky I had met you and I want to stay here. Lilia chan. You’re amazing person. I admire you lot. Welcome back. Thank you for an amazing story

Title: a constellation of blood drops
Summary: Tekkadan decides to salvage Gaelio’s mobile suit for spare parts; turns out that the most useful one is the pilot. To the dismay of everyone involved.
i | ii | iii | iv | v |
☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
VI. nulla dies umquam memori vos eximet aevo (no day shall erase you from the memory of time)
Gaelio has been preemptively regretting having to talk to McGillis about this ever since the last serious conversation he had with Mikazuki. It has made him miserable, but at least he’s prepared when the man boards the Isaribi and makes time to speak with him.
He clears his throat from the dread filling his stomach and forges ahead, because he made a promise, damn it.
“How much do you remember about the laws regarding polygamous marriage for a member of the Seven Stars Families?” is what he says.
Predictably, McGillis turns toward him with a smile that could cut glass.
“Oh? Are you planning that far ahead already?”
Gaelio does his best to shrug without wincing.
“Say, if I were to marry all members of Tekkadan, would they be recognized as free citizens of the Earth Sphere?”
And Gaelio will tell himself later to mark this day on his calendar, because it’s the first time he has managed to surprise McGillis into howling with laughter until he’s a writhing mass of humanity curled up in a ball, trying to fit his fist into his own mouth to hush the sounds he’s making.
“There is...” He gasps, still shaking. “There is a limit to the number of... consorts an heir of one of the families is allowed to have.”
Gaelio sighs; of course there is.
“Less than—” He does a mental calculation, the whole of Tekkadan plus whatever relatives they may have, plus the pastry sisters might be too big of a stretch; he probably would have to make do with the most vulnerable younger members; “—fifty?”
McGillis snorts, but it is good-naturedly and his eyes are still bright. It’s a good look on him. Makes it a bit harder to remember that Gaelio will never forgive him.
“Try twelve.”
“Damn.”
“Yes,” McGillis nods, his smile sharpening in way that is impossible to ignore. “However, there are no laws that limit the number of children an heir of one of the families can adopt to ensure the survival of their House and Legacy.”
Gaelio doesn’t ask is that what you father did? but he thinks about it, and that’s bad enough. Regardless of their past, they are here now, working toward a common goal, and that goal involves making sure that the members of Tekkadan have a life waiting for them when this conflict ends.
“Thank you, McGillis.”
“You’re welcome,” McGillis honest smile is becoming a more common sight these days, but it still manages to punch the breath out of him every time. “But you were also right, should you choose to marry, your spouse would be recognized as a free citizen of the Earth Sphere and part of one of the families.”
“That’s... good.”
“Yes, I suppose Mikazuki Bauduin has a nice ring to it.” And then, because he’s a bastard, he adds: “However, I must remind you that your family will ask you to provide an heir, so you should discuss the topic of surrogacy with him before that.”
It is entirely possible that McGillis is trying to rile him up, but really, they grew up in the same social circles and he should know better. Gaelio has already thought extensively about that.
“That shouldn’t be a problem, Miss Atra seems already determined to carry his children and there is no requirement for the heir of the family to be blood related to me.”
McGillis stares at him gob smacked and Gaelio mentally adds another exclamation point to the mark that he will put on his calendar. He has surprised him twice in less than twenty minutes, surely that is some kind of record. Next thing he knows, McGillis is laughing so hard that he’s in pain and Orga bangs into the door threatening the two of them to behave and don’t make me come in there like an angry mother.
What even is his life.
There is no point in pretending that Mikazuki would choose him above everyone else vying for his attention, but those vying for his attention will at last have to recognize that it would be a convenient union. For all involved.
“Four spouses is well within the limits, isn’t it?”
“The Turbines have been a terrible influence on you, Gaelio. But yes, four is a very respectable number, especially so if the point seems to be to ensure an adequate offspring is produced... But four?”
“... Mikazuki should be obvious.”
“So it is, but he is also the choice that would be most contended.”
McGillis doesn’t need to clarify what he means; not only is Mikazuki another man, and a much too young looking one to boot, and that will be enough to get tongues wagging, but he is also from Mars, and not even a citizen but a Human Debris. He has the stigma of the Alaya-Vijnana system quite literally impressed upon his skin. He has no family ties that could offer any sort of advantage financially, politically or otherwise, although the reputation of Tekkadan should at least assuage those seeking advantage in military affairs. He is also, and the thought alone stings, disabled when not plugged to the Barbatos. He is quite possibly the worst choice of a partner he could make. There is no one else he wants more, is the thing.
Atra is little better, and she reminds him too much of his own sister to treat her as anything else, but he could pretend for all of their sakes. Mikazuki would not leave her behind, and Atra would not let Mikazuki go anywhere she wouldn’t be able to follow, so accepting her has been an unavoidable choice.
“Mikazuki and Miss Atra, then, I understand, but the other two?”
Gaelio explains his next choice, making no effort to hide how much it pains him to do so.
Kudelia is a possibility, both a best-case and worst-case scenario at once. On the one hand, a union with her would be glaringly obviously beneficial in all the ways that matter to the remaining members of the Seven Stars, on the other hand, she is as infamous as she is popular and the ideas she fights for haven’t exactly endeared her to those who wish to protect the status quo. He would have to tread lightly when presenting his intentions, but if she cares for Mikazuki, and he knows she does, she would have to accept that the protection offered by his lineage would be an invaluable asset.
“Alright then,” McGillis winces, and it’s a wonder that he has stopped wearing his mask at all times around him. “And the fourth? Orga?”
Orga Itsuka loves Mikazuki in a wholly different way, but he would never accept to marry Gaelio for his sake, pretense or not.
Gaelio sighs, exasperated.
“Hush Middy, at this point I think is accurate to say that I would need a crowbar to pry him off Mikazuki.”
(Orga comes banging at the door not five minutes later, after one of the younger members of Tekkadan goes and tells him that McGillis is being murdered in his own room and is dying quite loudly.
“I swear to god!” Snarls Orga, when he slams open the door, although he doesn’t believe in any higher beings.
“That’s just how he laughs, I don’t know what to tell you.”
“Make him stop!”)
McGillis is no longer laughing, but there’s a small smile on his face that makes it seem like he’s no longer Atlas, burdened by the weight of the world and its sins.
It is with that same smile, but cold, cold eyes that he turns to Gaelio and speaks once more.
“You’ll have to make sure they survive the war, then.”
Gaelio catches himself before nodding, the tone of McGillis voice so mild he could have been talking about the weather. This is not something they have discussed before.
“War?” The word leaves his chest like a ragged exhalation, and McGillis looks sorry for him.
“... I’m sorry, Gaelio.”
Sometimes, McGillis makes it too easy to remember that he should hate him. That he does, sometimes.
“What have you not told me, McGillis?”
McGillis closes his eyes and begins to talk.
“That was your plan?” He sneers, in spite of himself, once McGillis is finished. “That was—that was your plan, that was it?!”
McGillis opens his mouth to defend said plan, be he needn’t have bothered. Gaelio has no intention of letting him speak.
“What were you going to do if they didn’t accept your command?! What made you think they would take a look at a Mobile Suit and submit just for an obsolete law?!”
“It the Gundam with the soul of—”
“It’s a Mobile Suit, for fuck’s sake! A children’s story!”
And oh, isn’t that a revelation. The way McGillis jaw snaps shut, against the cruelty of the world that insists on shattering the ideals he holds most dear? A fairy tale with brave knights that are able to save the world with a feat of valor, of strength?
This world is not so kind.
(Had he always been so naive? Or had he, like Gaelio, chosen to blind himself to whatever threatened the hope he had managed to salvage for himself?)
No, this world is far too cruel for a man like him. He can almost justify still caring for him.
“I always thought you were the smartest out of all of us,” he says, because he still loves this man like a brother, but he hasn’t forgiven him and probably never will. “I’m glad to see that is not the case.”
And then—and then he dares and places his hand on McGillis shoulder, a ghost of a touch.
“I’m sure we can come up with some other plan, between the two of us. Just in case,” he adds, because he doesn’t want to see the hope crushed in his eyes again.
“Yes,” McGillis smiles. “Thank you, Gaelio.”
His real smile is a thing of wonder, so different from the usual, controlled upturn of his mouth than Gaelio learned to associate with the man that it changes his whole face, makes him looks years younger.
Gaelio has to swallow down the bitterness in his throat. This is what he means. So many years, and he never noticed he had been living a lie. He hadn’t wanted to notice, he just wanted the comfort of having his friends, his upper-class life, of not wanting for anything.
He has to go to the Barbatos after that, and for the first time he’s the one who pulls Mikazuki against him and holds him there even though Mikazuki protests that he was practicing his writing. This world is far too cruel. It has taken far too much from the people he has come to care about, and he can’t help—he can’t help but think that it’s not over yet.
Given the latest revelations, Gaelio has had no choice but to (once again) come to the same, sad conclusion he’s been trying to forget in this new lease of life: ultimately, he cannot trust McGillis.
Hell, he can only barely trust himself. In all honesty, given that he was born and raised in the same cesspit as McGillis and Catra and Iok fucking Kujan, he shouldn’t trust himself at all.
Unfortunately, circumstances demand that he stepped up and played the role of responsible adult, regardless of how woefully unprepared for that he is.
Indeed: McGillis is delusional and Tekkadan is mostly made up of children with no idea how the world works beyond the horrors they have survived. He has the task of saving them all or the most he can. Obviously he’s the only one who can see the kind of mess they’ll make if left to their own devices. But that’s fine, between himself and Merribit he’s almost certain they can make up for the lack of common sense of everyone else.
Most of all, what he cannot believe is that he’s turned out to be the sensible, reasonable one from among his childhood friends.
Spurred by such terrible thoughts, Gaelio find himself once again hunting down Orga Itsuka with the single-mindedness that probably runs in the veins of all children of the Seven Stars Families, much to their detriment. At least it’s being put to good use in this case. Probably.
Orga Itsuka looks warily at him; not like he did at the beginning, or the first time Gaelio cornered demanding a truce, but more as if he knows that he’s not going to like whatever Gaelio has to say but it is nonetheless in his best interests to listen. Merribit, thank all the stars, is also there, holding Orga’s arm like that will prevent him from escaping their clutches.
Like before, Gaelio explains his reasons to Orga Itsuka mostly because he has to make him understand in order for him to give Gaelio permission to assign himself another near-suicidal, but necessary, mission.
Because Rustal Elion is an opponent so far above the wight class of the child soldiers that he would swallow them whole and they’d only notice when they started being digested; that’s the kind of monster that man is, every inch the Head of on the Seven Star Families.
“Rustal Elion will never be your friend, he won’t even be your ally, but if he thinks he can use you to get close to his goal, he’ll do it.”
That man would use someone until he couldn’t wring a single drop of blood more, and then he’d use them to pave his way to the goal he holds dearest above all, that he intends to reach even if it meant betraying and abandoning his own family and subordinates.
“He doesn’t want to be a footnote, he doesn’t want to be just another name in a branch of his family tree; he wants entire chapters in history books to be dedicated to him, he wants to leave a mark.”
Ruthless Elion. Back in the Academy, all the students used to jokingly call him that, in hushed voices. And none of them knew a thing, none of them could have imagined how true that nickname was.
“So offer him that,” Gaelio says, to a wide-eyed Orga. “And give him whatever he asks for when he doesn’t believe you capable of giving him that, because having him as a lukewarm ally will be leagues better than letting him Tekkadan could stand in his way, or, worse, could be used as a stepping stone.”
Gaelio bites the inside of his cheek, debating his next betrayal, but merely as a formality. As much as he loves McGillis as a brother, as the best friend he believed him to be, as the man whose ideals he will follow, whose side he will take in the war he’s so hellbent on starting—Gaelio’s heart already has a clear owner.
And if that owner also has a clear owner, then the hierarchy is clear.
Gaelio opens his mouth and spits out the words, half warning, half plea:
“Take it from someone who knows, Orga Itsuka—McGillis has no idea what he’s doing.”
(He doesn’t understand how the real world works, he doesn’t say. In spite of having already been exposed to the worst of it, he definitely will never say.)
Orga wavers at that, maybe because it should sound like nothing but lies, maybe because the honesty in Gaelio’s voice feels as though it had to be extracted with hooks and pliers, but he finally concedes.
Gaelio is granted permission to present their case before their enemy, to go into the wolf’s den and offer it a meal in hopes it will choose to ally itself with them.
Mikazuki had made a deal with the devil for their sake. Gaelio would be remiss if he did anything less.
Still, Mikazuki’s devil is made of metal and asked for nothing but flesh; Gaelio’s is flesh and blood and human all over and he doesn’t know yet what he will be asked to give.
But he will give it, if it is in his hands to do so, if that means that Tekkadan, this court of children that Mikazuki would kill and bleed for, can be saved.
Can be safe.
Gaelio is not Tekkadan’s, in spite of everything that has happened, he still believes this. Tekkadan, however, is Gaelio’s. Such are the fangs of his upbringing, finally showing.
It is only right, then, that such fangs and claws are put to use in safeguarding what is his.
He prepares for his arranged meeting with Rustal Elion with a fastidiousness that he remember afflicted his mother when she prepared Almiria for her engagement party with McGillis. He was sent appropriate clothing for the occasion, and McGillis even lent him one of his most trusted aides, aware that this would be akin to an opening move in this war he still expected, who had trimmed Gaelio’s hair and once again caked his face in makeup—although, granted, of much higher quality than the one he had previously used to hide his scars.
Gaelio looks at the full-length mirror McGillis’ aide had brought with him, and inspects his perfectly-tailored armor, the subtlety of his war paint, squares his shoulders and goes off to bargain with the devil.
Gaelio has already played the zealot before Rustal Elion, it should hardly be a difficult thing to play such role again. If the object of his zealotry has shifted just enough to align with Elion's own interest, no doubt twisted by the very real flaws of the organization he was, oh, so willing to worship before, and how it had only proven to fall short of his expectations after his, oh, so harrowing experiences while undercover—well, people are always willing to see what they want to see. Gaelio won't be even lying, really.
(There was worship of course, as there were expectations, given how he was brought up, his family, his everything, and all those things lie in a heap of bullshit, now that Gaelio has peeked behind the curtain and found the wizened old husk of their ideals, rotting like a corpse left in a basement.)
Rustal Elion receives Gaelio personally and escorts him to a chamber in one of his ships so opulent it could be displayed as a piece on a museum dedicated to the influence of the Château de Versailles.
“Please sit, Lord Bauduin. We will have refreshments brought to us in a minute, but I believe you’d prefer some privacy for our discussion.”
“Of course, my thanks for your consideration, Lord Elion,” Gaelio makes a show of bowing his head just a smidgen more than strictly necessary, placing himself squarely beneath his host. “It is an extremely sensitive matter what I wished to discuss with you, although perhaps it would be more accurate to say that I wished to plead my case before you, as someone who as of right now could be considered the head of the Seven Stars families.”
Rustal Elion takes a set before him and laces his fingers together with a placid smile, the very picture of an understanding, doting superior willing to lend an ear to a troubled youth.
“Please speak freely, Lord Bauduin. I am aware of your complicated situation, after all and would happily lend a helping hand should you need it.”
“It is indeed a complicated situation,” Gaelio agrees, demurely. “And I’m afraid that I have only complicated it further during my time… in this mission, in a manner unbefitting of the heir of one of the Seven Stars. Which is why I must beg your assistance, Lord Elion, as I’ve heard you have a vested interest in the standing of Mars and all its citizens.”
This is a fib, and not even a very good one, since all of Gjallarhorn could be said to have such ‘vested interest’, but only for the worse. However, Rustal Elion’s eyes shine with the intensity of a predator smelling blood and he opens his hands in a welcoming, soothing gesture, a friend in Gaelio’s hour of need willing to hear him out, even if the last time they spoke Gaelio had all but called all of Mars the dregs of humanity.
“Of course, Lord Bauduin! Such humanitarian causes are one of the many duties of our station, and your first-hand experience has no doubt granted you a valuable insight of the plights the so-called human debris must endure,” he says, panegyrizing to the point of artifice. “You can rest assured that I will not pass judgment on you, rather, I believe you should be praised for having learned from this experience.”
Gaelio tries not to wince and cannot be sure if he succeeded. He thinks of the many ways he could spin a tale for Rustal Elion to bait him into action, to present the choice of allying himself with—not Tekkadan, certainly not, but the heads of two of the Seven Stars, Six, now that the Issue family has lost its successor. That would give him the support of half the families, not counting his own, an absolute, undeniable majority. It takes him perhaps half a second to realize that, if Rustal Elion deems him untrustworthy, they will all be doomed and there would be no guarantee of him leaving this ship with his life.
Thus, Gaelio, who knows he’s making a gamble he can’t afford to lose, chooses to parade his one weakness in front of Rustal Elion.
“I intend to marry a human debris,” he says, with all the gravitas such declaration of war deserves. “I will not bring shame upon my family, so the laws will have to change. The world will have to change, to make a place for us.”
Gaelio will drag the entire world, kicking and screaming if need be, to the point where they all see at least a fraction of the brilliance he sees in Mikazuki.
“He will not be called a human debris when I marry him; he will be a person, with all the respect that entails. I won’t have the time to formally duel everyone who shows any disrespect otherwise. And I will formally duel everyone, anyone, the whole damn world, to have him.”
Even as the words leave his lips, he knows they are the truth and there’s no hiding that from the predator before him. Rustal Elion must be able to read some of his desperation in Gaelio’s face or voice, because the amiable business smile he had kept firmly affixed on his face finally changed to something realer and hungrier.
“If you can grant me that, Lord Elion,” Gaelio says, with the fervor of the devout. “I promise you will have the support of the Bauduin family in all of your endeavors, as well as my personal cooperation, in whichever manner you see fit to use. I cannot speak for my good friend McGillis, but I have it on good authority that he would me more than amenable to join hands in pursuit of a worthy goal.”
Rustal Elion abandons all pretense of humility, throws his head back and laughs.
“Why! You flatter this old man, Lord Bauduin,” his smile only grows, even as his eyes do his best to dissect Gaelio where he stands. “Should I take this to mean that the Bauduin and Fareed families would support me, either in improving or restructuring Gjallahorn?”
Gaelio’s smile is one that would be at home in a family picture of a perfect day in the park, a charming young man adored by the world, with the rest of his life before him.
“The times have changed, Lord Elion. If the rest of the Heads would rather cling to the stories of old and bury their heads in the sand, we who know better are aware that this means we should change as well. Lord Kujan, for all his brashness, has made it no secret that you are willing to spearhead such changes. Please, do consider our proposal. We have high hopes for a mutually beneficial relationship.”
Gaelio stands up and bends in a perfectly respectful bow, before being escorted to the docks by one of Rustal Elion’s aides. Every step he takes before arriving to his ship, feels like ice cracking below him. It is only until he is on his way back that he allows himself to curl up into a tiny ball and hyperventilate, uncaring of which child has to see one of his breakdowns; by now it is practically a rite of passage.
(For who, he’s not quite sure.)
Mikazuki Bauduin.
It is a meagre offering; in another life such statement would be insulting, but in this one Gaelio knows better. He would much rather take Mikazuki’s last name. Gaelio Augus. He would have twice the ‘g’s that Mikazuki treasures for the connection it represents to Orga Itsuka. Gaelio Bauduin, with all the protection the name represents, with all the considerations both political and otherwise that he would be able to give Mikazuki, would be taking that away.
Bauduin.
The name of a ghost, since the scion of the Bauduin might as well be dead, for all that life has changed him.
But he has nothing else to give. Not even his clothes are his own.
Mikazuki Bauduin.
It should make him happy, and it’s a bitter pill to swallow to find out it doesn’t.
Perhaps, once McGillis is done wrecking havoc among the Seven Star Families, once Kudelia is done with her humanitarian work, once Tekkadan doesn’t have any reason to be other than the bonds they have and the moniker of ‘human debris’ is relegated to the gutter where it belongs, once Rustal Elion is done scribbling his name in history books for the sake of the legacy he so dreams of leaving, regardless of whether he has to write it down in ink or blood—perhaps then he will be allowed to be Gaelio Augus, with no need for consorts to ensure an heir, with no obligations to fulfill but those to his own heart.
He hopes Mikazuki is willing to wait for him.
God, he hopes they all are.
Ah, but Gaelio is wrong, after all.
This, although not a surprise, for once comes as a relief.
Here it is, something that he has, that is his, that he has been given: strips of pale blue leather, carefully woven and decorated with an iron charm. Tangible proof of the existence of life after death.
And this, too: he promised Mikazuki his own green-house, and he intends to keep that promise, honoring with the gravity of wedding vows and knightly oaths. He thinks of Mikazuki, surrounded by greenery, of Miss Atra’s laughter and Kudelia’s earnestness, and he thinks that there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for a future in which he can have all of that.

Notes: Haha, it’s been so long I legit had to open up a bunch of wiki pages to look up some stuff. ヾ( ̄▽ ̄)
But everything I was too lazy to look up I made up, yay!
I feel like I like this chapter, but I can't honestly tell anymore; I just wanted to get this out, like, pls just let me finish this damn chapter, I promise I will fix it all pretty when I finally post it on AO3—so here it is! I hope it was worth the wait, and as always thank you to everyone who still reads this thing ヾ(•ω•`)o
The fix-it is really heavy in this one and it will only grow stronger, so please forgive my sins keep that in mind. I’m scrubbing everything that goes wrong in the second season off the face of the planet with these last chapters.
(Augh, I don’t want to write Rustal Elion again, why must I suffer for my craft (;′⌒`))
Also, it's really been a year, right? Darn. Happy winter holidays (again) and happy new year (again), keep taking care of yourselves and eat something tasty and maybe pet a cat!

Connecting the scattered stars, I was looking for a constellation I hadn't seen yet It didn't go as I'd hoped There was no answer for me there, either But I want to see the tomorrow I'll walk with you So reach out your hand
Endless Night, painting the night Endless Night, are our stars Facing the morn over and over again, We will go once more Precious Night, but right now, Softly leaving myself to the night breeze, I want to be enveloped by the soundless starry sky
The endless night softly envelops us and becomes full If I can feel you, our hearts will become one Forever Forever
Can I stay by your side? / May I stay by your side?
Endless Night, painting the night Endless Night, are our stars Facing the morn over and over again, We will go once more Precious Night, but right now, Softly leaving myself to the night breeze, I want to be enveloped by the soundless starry sky
Tonight, forever, by your side
Colour-coded lyrics in the reblog! Sorry if you had to find out Kogitsunemaru sang Endless Night in Suehirogari this way!

Elyas Kara -- Stray Sinner (they/it)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"So maybe I am too kind, is that so wrong?"
Born to a Sharlayan Forum member and lost during the Exodus, Elyas Kara was raised by a pair of Hyur in the Brume. Now bound to a voidsent and a cause alike, Elyas leads the free company Oschon's Journey with their husband, soulmate, and closest partner, Kaiyo Mikazuki.
Elyas is hotheaded, reckless, and brash, quick to do what they feel is right and even quicker to protect those they care about. Their long-term voidsent pact has left them somewhat emotionally unstable; as have the traumas they’ve endured over the years. This same bond has inflicted them with an insatiable bloodlust, one they try to suppress (or indulge in a controlled manner).
Their voidsent bond is quite specific, and the source of many of their stranger abilities. Formed at age nine to ward off partial paralysis, Elyas and their bond, Barbatos, walk as one. They are hand in hand, they are of two minds in one body, and such consistent exposure to the void has left Elyas's blood visibly tainted, their body altered in minute ways. Emphasis on minute: their ebony horns are not a result of this pact. This pact has led them to become a rather skilled mimic, making them a formidable opponent with a wide repertoire of skills.
Elyas's bread and butter is the hunting of malicious voidsent and slavers, occasionally working a side gig to suit their whims. They can be found at a few underground fight clubs getting their shit rocked on a routine basis, but are just as easily found digging through dusty tomes as they research the Fifth Astral Era.
Always open to contacts of basically any kind for Elyas! They're my main, they're flexible, they can be crushed into any shape or form!

Original Writing Project: 916
OKAY, now that I've edited the first few chapters enough, I think it's finally time to have its debut to you all!
This is an original sci-fi story completely written by me, with MAJOR influences from things like Gundam and whatnot.
I want to post it here to get your all's feedback and just to share some good ol' storytelling, so please let me know what you guys think of it, your feedback/comments is always read by me!
I expect to have the first few chapters out sometime during this week after your normal schedule of simping, but this post will just be covering what the main idea of the story is/what shows/games is influencing it.
Below the cut is the blurb, inspirations, main characters, and a story excerpt!
First of all, thank you so much for even pressing the keep reading tab/showing any remote interest. I understand this isn't really what you come to this blog for, so it means the world to me!
Anyways, first up is the story blurb:
===
Story Blurb:
The year is 1177. Thirty-four years have passed since the battlefield had been introduced to the bipedal warmachines known as Soldat D’acier. Though they only stand a few meters above tanks, they were able to reduce armored divisions to scrap metal, and fortresses once thought impenetrable transformed to piles of rubble.
The entire continent of Anis rushed their militaries into an arms race to have their own versions of these steel behemoths.
In the name of expansion and rightful conquest, the country of Florence had declared war on Cumbria in 1155. The invasion saw countless deployments of Soldats on both sides, and death quickly followed in their wake. The two nations signed a peace treaty to end hostilities after five long years, but their crimes wouldn't be so easily forgotten by the people, nor its creations.
Now, the man-made atrocities emerging from the "Enhanced Human Initiative" stoke the flames of war once more, forcing an uneasy alliance. And from the same crime that threatens them, comes their final hope: Enhanced Human 916.
===
Inspirations:
Tumblr media
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Mobile Suit Gundam: Narrative Mobile Suit Gundam: Unicorn Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeta The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, Scarlet Nexus, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Girls' Frontline,
I was not joking when I said the major influences are from Gundam. At first I was worried about not being 100% original, but eh. Write what you love, right? Elements of the story, themes, suits, and a unholy amount more is snatched from all the Gundam shows listed above.
Armored Core 6 is what inspired the look of the "Soldats", and how combat flows in the story. The main lead, 916, is called numbers bc of the player character 621. (I also learned that the reasons I chose that number came from my subconscious, specifically Darling in the Franxx and that character, 196 aka Ikuno)
Scarlet Nexus inspired some of the tech things regarding the pilots being able to "read each other's minds" so to speak. Pretty much a less space-magic version of being a Newtype from Gundam, as well as other characters.
Trails of Cold Steel and Girls' Frontline inspired the other cast members, and speaking of which:
===
Main Cast:
Wolf Company
Enhanced Human 916, "Vi", Age: 21
A young man who escaped the "Enhanced Human Initiative." Due to augmentation and surgeries, he remains stoic and emotionless, but thanks to his adoptive family, has shown signs of opening up. Earned his nickname after his violet eyes.
He pilots the Soldat R1-N0, "Rhino", a bulky mech utilizing rush and ambush tactics, armed with a 60mm Autocannon and Heat Dagger.
A/N: Titular character, heavily inspired by Byleth (Fire Emblem Three Houses), and Mikazuki (Iron-Blooded Orphans). My second favorite character to write so far in the story, ironically.
David Collins, "Boss", Age: 53
Leader of a PMC called "Wolf Company". David took 916 in at a young age and raised him to be part of the "family". Loud and proud, he takes great pride in all serving underneath him, and has known to have a temper in anything regarding his age. Earned his nickname since calling him "Boss" was more comfortable for everyone.
He pilots the Soldat "Juggernaut', a machine with the legs of a tank, but upper half of a mech with arms. Armed with wrist-mounted machine guns and twin battle-cannons on top of its shoulders.
A/N: Inspired by Maine from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Don't look too much into that, don't worry. You can also tell from just his dialogue how much I like writing him too. He is my number 1 favorite to write.
Chloe, "Flare", Age: 35
Second in command of "Wolf Company. Chloe is extremely loud, complementing her foul-mouthed nature. Generally regarded as the "Big SIster" of the team. Earned her nickname from her extremely short temper.
She pilots the Soldat "Mantis", a lanky and smaller machine focusing on blitz tactics, able to leap surprisingly massive heights due to its inverted legs.
A/N: Inspired by Bianca (Gundam Thunderbolt), Sasha (Attack on Titan) and Miku (Darling in the Franxx). To everyone I have shown this story thus far, she has been the fan favorite, including her partner in crime:
Hayes, "Screw", Age: 32
The newest "rookie" of Wolf Company. Impulsive, a little too confident in himself but admittedly a talented sniper, Hayes is always eager to prove himself. Earned his nickname from either screwing himself over, or the enemy.
He pilots the Soldat "Phantom", a mech focusing on stealth and sniping, able to keep itself off enemy radar.
A/N: Inspired by Connie (Attack on Titan) and Zorome (Darling in the Franxx). Him and Chloe are a fun combo, as you will soon see.
There's eight more main characters, but I'll let you read their introduction yourself! 916 and Wolf Company will be the ones we'll be following the most throughout the story. Though this part of the cast was heavily inspired by Iron-Blooded Orphans. For those who watched the show, again, don't read too much into that.
===
The last thing I'll have for this post will be an excerpt from the prologue to get things started! Hopefully my slow ass will have the prologue out soon, so please look forward to it!
Without further ado-
===
Story Excerpt:
===
“Doctor Moreau, do you think we go to heaven?” asked the small girl.
Doctor Moreau stopped typing for a moment as her eyes glanced over the terminal, seeing the child laying on the operating table, standing out from the rest of the clean black walls and white tiles. The room was supported with soft lights illuminating the room, complemented by the blue screens and dizzying amount of automated surgical equipment quietly whirring into position.
Moreau pushed her aging white hair away from her eyes, looking at the child, subject designated 403. 403 was about seven, she barely stood up to Moreau’s stomach and had long black hair that stopped at her shoulders. The light blue gown was slightly too big for her, the sleeves extending over most of her hands and just revealing her fingers. Seeing her face again reminded Doctor Moreau of 403's rather inquisitive nature.
“Why are you asking that, 403?” Moreau replied, her tone indifferent. Her fingers went back to typing as she sighed. “If you’re worried about the procedure, the chips are perfectly safe to implant. There has been no previous record of anyone dying from-”
“-But I’m going to die after.”
“...What?”
“After the chip goes into me. Will the others and I go to heaven?”
The question had caught the doctor completely off guard. Moreau had answered questions such as, “Will this hurt?”, or “Do I have to?”. This question was something she could not answer with her usual dismissive tone. She sat up straight in her seat now and turned to look at the child. 403's eyes were still fixated on the ceiling.
“Why are you so certain you’re going to die, 403?”
“That’s what my brother told me. When the chip goes into our brain, we’re sent off to die.”
The girl’s voice stated it as a matter of fact. There was no confusion in her tone of what was to become of her. Doctor Moreau had no response as she stared at 403 with her mouth slightly open. The child simply turned her head, facing her and expectantly waiting for an answer.
“... I certainly hope there’s a heaven, 403. I’m sure heaven will allow good kids like you and your brother.”
“What about my friends? Will they-”
“We’re about to begin the surgery. Please face up towards the light and close your eyes.” Moreau bluntly cut off the conversation.
403 pouted, but complied. It was clear that the answer did not satisfy her as much as she wanted it to. Doctor Moreau took a second to recover and focus back on the job at hand. Facing back towards the terminal, she began typing once more. With the input of several passwords and confirmations, the surgery to implant the combat data-chip into 403’s brain would commence. Afterwards, she would be sent to her brother’s unit, and be deployed to the battlefield.
Just like all the others.
This room had always been nothing out of the ordinary to Moreau. The same procedure had been repeated more times than she could count and yet why did this one make it so hard to breathe all of a sudden?
“Doctor Moreau?”
“Yes, 403?”
“Can I ask one more thing?”
“You may.”
“Can I listen to that song you always play? The one that goes ‘Lalalalala~’? I want to hear it one more time before I sleep. I really like it.”
Doctor Moreau’s lips suddenly dried up as she once again stopped typing. With a slightly trembling hand, she turned to the radio sitting on her desk and nodded.
“...Of course, 403. No more questions, please.”
She could see the smile form on 403’s lips as the mask was gently put onto her face, the anesthesia slowly starting to pump into 403’s lungs.
“...Thank you.”
Doctor Moreau swallowed hard as her finger pressed the on switch of her old radio. Despite being in such a high tech surgical room, her radio was comically outdated. It was a small gray oval-like object that only had a speaker and a few buttons. To even put music in it, she had to insert a smaller rectangle that contained the songs in it via tape. It was a gift from her father when she was 403’s age, the thought of their roles being reversed not lost on the doctor.
‘Sing, sing a song Let the world sing along Sing of love there could be Sing for you and for me…~’
Doctor Moreau could hear 403 softly hum along to the song as her voice gradually became quieter, and eventually turning into soft breathing. The whirring of the surgical equipment and the radio being the only things in the room left making noise. The only remaining step was for Doctor Moreau to approve the procedure to implant the chip into 403’s brain.
“Is there heaven…” the doctor quietly repeated the question to herself, attempting to ignore 403’s startling self awareness of the situation.
"Authorization confirmed, Implant procedure beginning.” A deep robotic voice rang out across the room as the sound of a drill began drowning out the other equipment. Doctor Moreau sat on her chair as she closed her eyes, waiting for the procedure to be done and turning off the radio in the process.
“For me, I don’t think so…Heaven was lost to me long ago.”
...
‘Sing, sing a song Make it simple to last Your whole life long~’
The Doctor was snapped out of her melancholy as the music continued playing. Sighing, she moved to turn it off for good.
“Piece of junk is starting to-” She stopped as her finger was about to hit the switch.
The radio was still off.
Listening closely again, Moreau realized the singing was coming outside of the door.
‘Don't worry that it's not Good enough for anyone Else to hear~’
Creeping towards the door, the doctor put her ears to it and heard what sounded like a chorus singing. The song wasn’t over the intercom, otherwise the voice would be far clearer.
Instead it sounded like-
A sudden sense of dread hit the doctor as she swung the doors open and ran towards the hangar. Multiple guards and scientists were opening the doors along the long gray hallway, joining Moreau and investigating what the noise was. When they finally got to the railing after the doors slid open, none of them could speak.
‘Just sing, sing a song (Just sing, sing a song) Just sing, sing a song~’
Inside the massive hangar stood rows of countless Soldats, giant bipedal machines that stood several meters tall, lined up next to each other as if they were statues. Their bulky legs stood firmly in place and the compact yet slender arms did not move an inch.
The only things moving were their horned box-like heads, slowly moving side to side in perfect sync. Each of the voices emerging from the Soldats were different but singing in perfect harmony.
Their normally offline and horizontal segregated visors were suddenly flickering to life with blue lights, illuminating the large dark room with bright blue rays.
‘La la la la la, la la la la La la la la la la laaaaa~’
Doctor Moreau could hear the voices of security guards rushing down the stairs to halt the singing, shouting orders at the others to back away.
However, the doctor could only hear their cheerful singing along with her breathing becoming noticeably shorter with each second, feeling her chest tighten.
Once again, the question 403 springed up to the forefront of her mind.
“Is there heaven?”
...
===
And that's the first part of the prologue done, hope to have this out soon, and again if you got this far, thanks for taking the time!
See ya soon, and back to the normal content for now!

Haven't done a self-promotion post in a while, but given I am now into the epilogues for this monster, it feels about due. So! Here's my three-year-long attempt to process all the feelings this rather spectacularly good anime gave me. Reviews include "Fuck you" (my beta reader) and "HOW DARE YOU" (a friend, barely five chapters in).
Fandom: Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans
Ao3: https://archiveofourown.org/series/2513668
Rating: T through to E (tags/warnings at source)
Pairings: (deep breath) Atra/Kudelia, Yamagi/Shino, Gaelio/Julieta, Eugene/OC, Yamagi/Shino/Eugene, Mikazuki/Atra/Kudelia, Yukinojo/Merribit, Amida/Naze
Summary: A follow-up/continuation of Iron-Blooded Orphans exploring the aftermath of the series and where things might have gone next. Technically an AU in the sense of fragrantly misreading authorial intent for one particular scene (you can probably guess which if you’ve seen the show and read the pairings above) but not remotely an ‘everyone lives’ scenario. This is largely an exercise in the surviving characters being thoroughly haunted by their past and absolutely failing to get over any of it.
Featuring – Ride growing into a (learner) revolutionary; Eugene struggling to be a responsible adult; Yamagi struggling to be an irresponsible adult; Kudelia and Atra being unfiltered sunshine together; Chad needing a hug; Julieta doing her best; Gaelio moping at lot; the Turbines; the spin-off manga cast; the most horrible villain I’ve ever invented; a moderate amount of smut; bit parts for literally everyone; and Almiria Bauduin’s evil plan to save destroy the world.

My February 2025 toy haul is finally here! I am super happy with these! The ToTK Figma Link, I am super happy I went with the DX version, despite the expense, he's not the most expensive Link figure I own (BoTW RAH Link, probably will remain the most expensive one for me, ever!). However, I love him so much. He's so beautiful IRL, I wasn't able to get any decent shots of his default face, sadly. The Repoprize Sasuke I got from a legit USA retailer, for a lot more than I'll probably be able to find them directly from Japan. However, I don't know if I'll ever be able to find them from Japan, so I bit the bullet. I had to! Also, got my first UF Doll from Amzn, and I was so lucky to get the one I actually wanted, on my first and only pull! Yay! I'm never lucky with mystery toys, so I was over the moon! He's the one called "Brown Mandarin Duck," according to Googl3-translate. I am keeping mine as a boy, since that was my original plan if I did manage to get him. I love his face, he's so beautiful and his outfit is very well done. Not a fan of my boys having girly shoes though, so I'll have to figure out what to do with the default ones. I doubt I can find ones that fit, the feet and the style, but we'll see. Now I just want/need two or three more mystery dolls, and I'll probably stop for good (I hope to get the "boy" TV headed one as well, hopefully soon). (:

10 years
Wow
Well it’ll be 9 and a month case for me cuz I was able to access Toukenranbu when they come out until 4th December when my sister installed everything in my laptop….during that time I had zero skill on hacking to play jp games but here I am……….
I’m just turning 20 when I start the game. My sister bait be with Yama-tan cuz I was into Hakuoki then the next moment later Bam! I fall for Mikazuki san so hard that I never did to anyone before. He start me on my Yumejoshi lifestyle and it’s carry on since then. People even start to call me and my sister ‘Ane-Gumi’ cuz we were the big sisters in the fandom that time. Mikazuki san take care of me during my recovering from mental health issue and he even become the reason why I start drawing again. Even now we are like a old couple that stay together for a very long time haha. I inherited lot from him especially what the f laugh 😂 can’t believe I become what I always jest about. Well without any of that I probably won’t survive the past few years. I turn 30 in a blink of his eyes isn’t it. I always wonder if I still love him after ten years? And now that I am……I found that I still do. Love just aged. It’s no longer that Doki Doki feeling anymore but I do care a lot about him.
My parents are couple. It’s like two people that secretly hate each other but stay together just to save their face. So I can’t imagine what it’s like to love someone for a long time. It’s uncertain and scared cuz I see Dad insulting my mum behind her back all the time. I’m afraid I’ll be the same cuz I have dark sense of humour and not so cute tongue—— well after 10 year I realise I can be different. I’m happy with this slow burn feeling having Mikazuki san next to me and stay in my journey. Yes no more Doki Doki but I come to like this new feeling when I saw him as well.
Well the last 5 year he is robe the Kinji title away hahaha
My father committed unforgivable crimes to me. He left me on my death bed and scolded me for something nonsense. Never ever think it’s his fault even now. I grow up meetingmy parents only once a year but my mum have bad temper. My dad was my hero to try safe the day and get me out of mum temper. I had been denied his ugliness behaviour and thought for years until the day I suffer from vaccine that I see how he ditched me. And before that a lot happen between me and my family so I throw the last affectiom I have left to Kogarasumaru and hw’s now my dad instead since then. Papa-maru become my one and only Kinji. Ao-chan sorry…..
Every night I open Touken ranbu and let Papa-maru watch over me to sleep. That’s how I use the game now a day more like a relaxing music for sleep. I wonder if I introduce him to Lilia…. What will the two of them going to talk about. They kinda similar but Papa-maru is more strict. My Touken Yume chan is a bitchy brat that’s needs a lot of discipline while TWST Yume chan is more polite. They going to be a bad influence to each other and the two dad (different meaning) will have to seperate them for sure.
I miss Honmaru life but I’m not ready to go back yet. I’m sorry I fly away but I know they’ll understand. They probably bonk me a lot before give me a welcome feast. Mit chan food so nice the anime make it’s mouth watering all the time. Lilia isn’t that strict to me so I turn lazy and needy XD
I want to see you again Mikazuki san. I’ll save up and go to visit you again before I turn into granny . See you again soon okay
And stop haunting my dream it’s creepy……Hana say you a yandere now

Writing Goals 2025!
(since it worked well last year (👉゚ヮ゚)👉)
To keep my motivation for writing, here's a list of fics I want to write/post over the year; hopefully I'll do better than last year, where I left everything pretty much last minute, so below you can see the list and a little preview of the chapter to be posted!
TOTAL: 4 / 15
🚧
Things I would like to update:
To begin with, the Re:Zero stuff, which is as usual my jam:
1) Start, From Minus
‘Citizens of the empire, be strong’—that was the only and most important teaching in Vollachia. And Subaru was. That is, a citizen of the empire and, thus, in his own, cowardly, revolting, tenacious way, strong.
Fifth and final chapter of this thing!! ( •̀ ω •́ )y
2) I’ll find you believing I’ll be found
At any rate, he was worried, it would have been impossible not to be, but Subaru knew that Felt would become Queen; because the only other option was that she’d die, and Subaru wouldn’t let that happen. Weapons or elements or poisons, the only way anything that meant to harm Felt would get anywhere near her would be over Subaru’s dead body.
I want to go back to my weird, not-quite crossover series; these two chapters, though, are going to be much shorter than the fate and fe:3h ones
3) Coins in a Wishing Well
The boy was beautiful, or at least he was on his way of becoming so, and he was only a child. He’d have the kind of beauty that gods coveted. Subaru quietly prayed for puberty to spoil him. The attention from a god, any god, led only to tragedy for mortals.
a tiny bit of hollywood greek mythology, maybeee? also, I just want to get this chapter out of the way bc the next one is going to be super ✨funfunfun✨
4) just a little bit of blood in your hands [ON AO3!]
Of course, at first everything seems to go according to plan. Subaru breaks into the museum without problems, disables the security system with a little help from his accomplice, and proceeds to fulfill his childhood dream of filling a burlap sack with priceless artifacts and other shiny things.
Well, this one is crack; also, completely unrelated to the previous chapters ♪(´▽`)
5) with all the pieces of the broken-hearted [ON AO3!]
So Subaru was going to go to school, and he was going to go to class, and he was going to get through the day without running into Reinhard because otherwise he’d probably combust out of sheer embarrassment for overreacting the way he did the day before! Alas, this was Subaru and Subaru was not destined to have an easy school life.
Right, so this is also crack. I'm going to be honest, this idea is like super old, and I had pretty much discarded it because it was high school AU-ish thing, but then April Fools happened and I decided to just publish this thing. It's probably another 'I don't want to have look at this WIP anymore or ever again' case (´・ω・`)
✏️
Other stuff from various other fandoms:
6) a constellation of blood drops [Gundam:IBO]
Now, Gaelio might be in feelings with Mikazuki, but he’d like to think he isn’t completely brain-dead. He knows Mikazuki is a deeply flawed, troubled, damaged human being. But, as his friendship with McGillis can attest to, that’s apparently kind of his type.
The last chapter of my super self-indulgent fix-it fic! Please, please let me finish this thing this year so I can clean it up and move the nice version to AO3 (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`)
7) A Superscription [Persona 5]
Ren wonders, in that second before he throws his own heart against the ground, an instant that lasts forever, like a mosquito trapped in amber, suspended in the time just before the strike hits and the glass shatters, if he had loved Akechi after all.
The second and last chapter of this tiny thing, that hopefully I will be able to upload on february to celebrate the third semester
8) these brilliant-hued hibiscus [Multifandom]
He hadn't meant to trust L’arc, but he had wanted to. In spite of his history, in spite of himself, because this world had already chewed him up and spat him out and he should have known better. And yet.
The second chapter of my little rarepair self-challenge! This one is for The rising of the hero of the shield, a series I only know bc one of my siblings likes the LN, but I dislike pretty much the entire cast
This is the only thing I'm ever going to write for that fandom, haha
9) remember me (but forget my fate) [LCF]
Rosé is so startled he almost jumps, and when he whirls around to see who had so rudely interrupted him, he almost trips and falls face-first into the mysterious, gluttonous hole he just fed his own lunch to.
The third chapter of my TCF/LCF time loop suffering thing that's going to become an entirely different thing the moment we change POV characters, yay o(*≧▽≦)ツ
10) our wishes are the right lure [Pokemon]
“What the hell kind of game is this?” “It’s a stress management assistant,” Ingo says, straight-faced. “It’s a gacha game. You poke the characters and they speak,” Emmet informs you, conspiratorially. “It’s a waifu game,” you conclude.
Second chapter for the pokemon submas reader-insert I owe the Pokemon Masters Ex gods, since I got both the twins sygna suits; as you can probably tell, I'm not going tot ake this seriously, like, at all
11) Home Is Where the Smoothies Are [Ben 10]
So many dimensions, so many universes, so many Bens. So many ways in which he could fail, in which he already has failed in some other world, in some other time, in some other way. All the versions of himself that had grown rotten, corrupted, tainted. Each one weirder and crazier than the last.
... I keep forgetting this series isn't finished; I'm literally missing the very last chapter, but I just keep f o r g e t t i n g about it! it's been so long!!
12) second chances (derogatory) [Persona 3]
Ichor runs down his knuckles, staining his hands, and marks his bloody path. The one he chose to traverse just to have a god, any god, grant this wish.
still haven't played P3 Reload so it's still on hold, but like I said, there are a couple of chapters that are 100% finished (and others that have only the title, but let's ignore those)
🚧
Things I would like to start:
13) (we’ve gone) to the dogs [BSD]
His life ends with a bullet between his eyes, no hope for Yosano to do anything at all. Just a bang and then darkness; a shimmering instant of relief before he opens his eyes again in a place and time that hadn’t been his for years. And that’s where it all begins (again).
the thing that I did not post last year, despite the fact that, like I said, there's a whole snippet ready to be posted; mostly bc my favorite character is Oda and the fandom seems pretty intense (in a bad way) when it comes to him, so I am kinda avoiding it. Honestly, I might just end up posting this series here rather than on AO3 :/
14) The Souls of Starfishes [Normal Me and Abnormal Friends]
They’ve gotten better at not flinching whenever they hear the name, but they’ve never quite managed to stomp out the hope that inevitably rises in them whenever they do. ‘Hajime’, it echoes with the beat of their hearts, discordant as they may be.
Normal Me and Abnormal Friends is one of my favorite android visual novels ever, and I really, really want to finally upload something for it this year; this year for sure இ௰இ
15) The Bridegroom’s Hedgehog [LCF]
It was probably a terrible, unsanitary idea to eat something a hedgehog had picked up from god-knows-where, and had put his little, dirty paws all over, and even had taken a tiny bite of, but dying of berry-poisoning (or even hedgehog-poisoning) could not possibly be any worse than whatever awaited Cale at the end of the road.
The fairy tale retelling for TCF/LCF that I was working on!!
16) sing us a song to move the stones [Persona 3]
Minato didn’t want a rerun of last time, though. He wanted to do much better; he wanted to go for broke. Minato turned around in the direction of the alley behind Port Island Station. This was just another choice he’d have to take responsibility for.
my attempt at a New Game+ fic that's still also on hold until i play Reload, sorry.
🚧
Other things I wish I could get around writing, but that have added complications:
with all the pieces of the broken-hearted
we'll build a bridge
Even the best laid plans
Arrested for Attempted Romance
from issues with the fandom to being pretty much abandoned by the author to just not wanting to write it and everything in between; I hope to finish some of these some day, but, yeah... (。﹏。*)
