(( Starter for @crest-of-law w/ my Digimon OC Lor
★ ━━━━━━ Steps were light as Lor moved along the sidewalk, sidestepping people who gave him weird looks, his Digivice clipped to his bag. Euan, his Poromon was in his arms and he acted like a toy that spoke when you squeezed him.
The two were headed to a tech bar, to utilize the male’s laptop inside his bag flapping at his side. They didn’t expect to encounter anyone, as they were deftly avoiding contact.
Ears twitched as they passed the multitudes of people, his tail swaying to and from almost avoiding getting squished several times. As they neared the internet cafe, he turned to grab the door’s handle, and his eyes rose upon seeing someone else had it first. Silently watching, he gripped his bag strap with his free hand, Euan remaining completely still.

The Digital World was the same as it had always been the months the cat-like male had been there with his partner, Euan, a Hawkmon that Lor had met months ago. The circumstances had been….well, odd.
Tread back about 6.5 months….
Hard at work at his school, in the Computer Lab, the male had taken to computers, as he loved technology, not in the way someone who was a ‘Computer geek’ did, but he merely appreciated it and what it could do. And so he took the time to learn every inner working of it, to expand his knowledge.
On that particular day, the lab was suffering. Nobody could get the towers or monitors working, and Lor was pulled out of class and marched down to the lab, pushed inside and sent to work, and try to fix whatever the issue was. Sitting at the main middle desktop, Lor’s tail swayed behind him, as he pressed the button numerous time to try and start the computer. It simply wasn’t working. He knew the machine wasn’t dead, and all the cords were still hooked, so what in the world was wrong?
Leaning down, his ears folded back as he got into his bag, taking out a notepad and pen, he wanted to record his findings for next time. Using the pen, he pressed it to the paper in gentle, fluid strokes, his writing quite tiny, but readable.
“Wednesday, none of the towers will power on, it’s puzzling in the slightest. — Planning to click some keys to see what I can do. // Entry Done”
Feeling his ears flick, he quickly began typing any sequence of code he could think of, anything to get it to start. After minutes passed, he input something and the tower beeped, making the monitor flicker on ever so slightly. Lor could see the light blue reflected back at him, and peered down at the tower to see it was powered up and making noise.
Taking out his notepad again, he scribbled in it.
“20 minutes later….The tower turned on, along with the monitor. Mentally recording progress. // Entry Done”
His eyes scanned the screen, clicking with the mouse, and suddenly an icon popped up right in the middle of the blue. “Gate” it said, and that got Lor curious. His tail curled around him leg and he double-clicked on the picture showing an odd looking, multicolored spiral, and a blank text document came up. Putting his hands over the keyboard, Lor was about to press the first key when a message appeared. “Will you open the Gate?” it read, with two choices below, flashing “Yes” and “No”. Thinking on it, he decided to click the first option.
– -- --
The sensation of falling engulfed his mind, and he struggled to open his eyes.
The next thing he knew, Lor was stuck in some tree branches, not the most graceful landing? If that’s what he could call it. Struggling, he couldn’t move from the tree, he was stuck. Lor figured the worst: he was alone in somewhere he didn’t even know.
That was….till he head a voice from below. A distinct hopping and flitting noise followed the voice. “Are you alright up there!?” It seemed worried and sad, and Lor rolled his eyes.
Turning his neck, he answered. “I’m fine just…stuck.” Moving again was more difficult than before, and he had already managed to scrape up both arms pretty good. He was curious as to the ‘thing’ down below and queried. “What’s your name?”
Hearing the boy’s voice, the little pink bird smiled and replied. “My name’s Poromon, what about you? You’re Lor, right?”
And instantly, he was confused as to how exactly Poromon knew his name, but he didn’t feel like questioning, he needed to get free. Now. “I am Lor….How about I get some help up here Poromon?”
“I can try!” He wanted to help Lor get free, he really did. Beginning to try and climb the tree, Poromon, was struggling, just to get to the first branch, it was a little sad actually. “I will save you Lor!!” Determined, the little Digimon jumped with all his strength, and somehow made it to the branch!
Hearing the struggling below, Lor frowned. “Don’t push yourself Poromon!” He was a bit worried for this ‘thing’ whatever it was, trying to save him.
“Lor!!” Suddenly as Poromon began his next jump, a light beamed around him, and he transformed or rather Digivolved. His voice was different as he spoke with absolute courage. “I’m coming, I’ll be there, just hang on!”
Feeling worried, Lor closed his eyes. Falling, and being caught were the next sensations he noticed. Apparently his new friend had attacked the branches and Lor had fallen unconscious in between then and the current predicament. “What are you?” Looking over at what held him, he felt his eyes widen. Staring into the face of a bird was not something Lor had expected.
Once descended to the Jungle floor, Lor sat and breathed a sigh of relief, he was saved. Though that voice, just before he had conked out….it hadn’t been Poromon, so where did Poromon go? The Digimon beside him patted his back, comforting him. “As an answer to your question, I’m Hawkmon. I Digivolved from Poromon to save you, Lor.”
Digivolved, what was that? Lor looked incredulously over at Hawkmon. “Hey, how about if I call you Euan? That whatever Mon is what you are right? Like how I’m a Human?”
“A name is fine, Lor. And In a sense, yes. I am a Digimon, a Digital Monster, and you are in the Digital World.” Euan held out a wing, and Lor took hold, shaking. “Good to meet you Lor.”
Lor stood up and smiled at Euan. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a small device, turning it over in his hand. “What’s this?”
The Hawk Digimon smiled as only a Bird Digmon could and answered his friend. “That’s a Digivice, you are one of the Chosen people to save the Digital World.”
Saving a world….that couldn’t be that hard, right? Clipping the Digivice to his pocket, he noticed a saddening thing: His shirt was completely torn from moving against the branches. Sighing he reached to pull it off, the fabric tearing at floating to the ground.
Noticing the shredded top, the Digimon pulled off a large piece, and handed it to Lor. “Lor, I want to wear this, so I always have a piece of you, even when we’re apart.”
The male shook his head and smiled a little, “What a silly thing to ask as we both only just met. Alright, come here.” So he tied it around Euan’s neck and in exchange, the Bird Digimon gave him a feather from his tail that Lor wrapped in his mangled hair.
“Let’s go and see what this place has to offer.” Shrugging off all concerns, Lor grabbed Euan’s wing and gripped it tightly. Digimon nodded back at Human, and they were going to find out what the Digital World was. And with that they started their adventure.
After surviving in the Digital world for nearly half a year, Lor and Euan met a powerful Digimon and through help of that one they got back to the real world.
The two now live in Shinjuku in a slightly run down apartment.

★ ━━━━━━ It was strange for Lor to be wearing clothes, even shoes, as he had lived in the Digital World for a few years before coming back to the real world. The order of things was to his liking, even though he was teased and looked at given his cat features his body possessed.
His ears flicked again, but he was curious about the other boy's Digivice, at least, that's what he thought it was since it looked like his own, but it seemed... broken? Lor wasn't about to ask after it, the other's belongings were none of his business.
Getting a better grip on Euan, the Poromon attempting to act asleep in his arm, Lor reached for the door handle, not even giving the other a glance as he pulled it open, stepping inside to find a table to occupy.
As he was almost through the threshold, Lor glanced back and smiled wryly, tail rippling behind him. "If you feel like running into me again, I'm not against it." And he allowed the door to swing back, and close in the other male's face.
|| There it was, the river front and everything beyond it contained in the city- a place Cadan had not expected to really visit on his excursion but things were changing and so where the people too, not to mention the Digimon now seemingly appearing everywhere and that was just one of the tasks at hand on his agenda, but first thing was first after all.

Given the state of his own digivice that remained locked onto a strap on his uniform shoulder, the screen broken but otherwise semi-functional, it gave off a faint glow as he walked down the crowded pathway, leading to the first of his objectives but that instant the door seemed to be accessed by another- which roused the male to hesitate and chuckle hesitantly. "S-Sorry about that, didn't really see you the-" his breath hitched when he glanced the form in the others arms, easing back off the handle so they could enter first. 'A digimon?!? so-' he thought now feeling a smile pull at his lip "Forgive me, sometimes i don't really have spatial awareness so im kind of always running into people."
