Xuce is the overworld god of light and parent to all dragons.

World lore; ( short version )

in myths Jxuten ( god of night ) banished Xuce to the underworld after the dragon wanted the gods to involve themselves more with the mortals of the world after becoming pained by their suffering.

The absence of light magic due to the god’s dissaperance made it so the Devils could cross into the mortal world bringing the age of darkness.  

1000s of years later Xuce escaped its prison enraged and threatened to reset time over Jxuten's mistake.

in the end both Xuce and Jxuten sacrificed themselves for the balance of the elements and giving the Minikaz ( a race of pure light magic ) the ability to drive the Devils back to the underworld.

Now ontop of the highest mountain lays a temple to the fallen god where followers of Xuce worship. 

followers of Jxuten believe in the independence of mortals and they they should not be pushed around by the presence of a true god. 

followers of Xuce believe what happened to the dragon was unforgivable and that it was only doing what was best for the world.
