#mira a mi me salió pura música sad en spotify#so quiero hacerme daño(?)#y si algo.

genre : another silly drabble i CANNOT stop thinking abt !
summary : you weren't always in marks life, but from the start of your relationship, you knew there was something special about him. whether it be his handsome face, his calm demeanor, his silly jokes, or his love for his son, it made you all the more fall head over heels with the boy.
a/n : this in no way represents any of these idols ! this is purely for fun and just a headcanon i have personally! ♡ gender-neutral reader by referenced as "mommy"
mark looks over the sunset on the horizon, "min- ill race you to the water!" he smiles, the pair trying (and struggling) to remove their shoes and socks, both desperate to run to the edge of the sand where the water met the sand like a couple in love. you chuckle softly to yourself, watching the pair run, their laughs carrying in the wind and making you feel warm.
after carefully removing your shoes, you step into the warm sand, letting your toes sink in as you curl and uncurl them, normally you hated sand between your toes. but you took the time to enjoy this warm feeling, the slightly salty wind on your face. youre brought back to reality when you hear the little boy softly call out to you
"mommy! come play with daddy and i!" the young boy squeals happily, currently being "airplaned" through the air in marks arms.
you cant help the smile that etches its way onto your lips, setting the bag of the dinner you packed down and padding over, barely having time to roll your pants up before mark is splashing water at you.
"mark!" you squeal, splashing him back and lifting minjun into your arms, spinning around with him. "hi sweet boy.." you coo, gently nuzzling your nose against the little boys face, letting him down when he squeals to play again, watching him run up and "tackle" mark down into the water.
after heading back up to the sand to set your towels out and unpack the food, you watch fondly as the two loves of your life play in the water.
a/n : a short one but i absolutely love this idea ;")

You’re married to him. Lee Minho, your husband of five years, is the elusive, impeccably dressed, frustratingly clever Mob Boss at the top of your most-wanted list. You raid his warehouses. He sends you flowers the next day. He burns down a rival gang's casino, and you make sure the surveillance footage ‘malfunctions.’ It’s a dance - a dangerous, unspeakably stupid battle of law and love. But it's yours.

Minho and you grow closer over time as he watches you handling his beloved son with such ease. Minjun's innocent question, asking you to stay with them, changes the dynamics a little. One day, you're taking the trust Minho offers you regarding his son a little too freely, and it ends in a mess...

Minho and you slowly find your way back together once he's released from the hospital. Minjun's birthday party brings you both closer than ever before ...

Just as everything seems to go well a call from the past messes with Minho's mind. His ex is set on getting her son back, ready to destroy everything you've built.

The Boys Meet Your Newborn For The First Time ~ Kim Minjun
Your smile softened as Minjun walked out from the nursery, your baby daughter held tightly in his arms. She was fast asleep as he walked through, with the two of you both knowing that the peace wasn’t going to last for long.
“I told her to make the most of it,” Minjun joked, knowing exactly what it was that you were thinking as your eyes followed them both across to the sofa, taking a seat down beside you.
Your head nodded as you peered across to take a look at her too, her eyes screwed tightly shut. “She’s about to be obsessed over,” you told Minjun, knowing just how excited the boys were to stop by and how thrilled they were to have a baby to dote over too.
Throughout your pregnancy they had been almost glued to your side anyway, but now that your daughter had arrived, they pestered constantly. None of them could wait to meet her, asking you every single day until at last you agreed to have them over.
Before you even had the chance to tell the boys all the details that you had for when they could come over, they agreed. They were desperate for the chance to say the least, with Taecyeon even adjusting his schedule too.
“You won’t have heard noise quite like this Y/D/N,” Minjun told her. “Your uncles can be very noisy when they want to be.”
“Your daddy is trying to pretend as if he’s not as loud as your uncles too though.”
Before Minjun could argue back at you, the buzzer to your apartment rang through. Your smile turned up as Minjun was left with an open mouth, unable to say anything as you stood up.
You carefully walked through to the front door, slowly opening the door to see five bright smiles staring back at you. As soon as there was enough room with the open door for the boys to walk through, they were pushing to try and get in first.
Their pushing and shoving soon stopped though once they walked through into your living, halting as soon as they saw Minjun sat with your daughter. “Look at the two of you,” Wooyoung gasped, the first to take a few small steps forward.
“Who knew Minjun would pull off the dad aesthetic,” Junho teased as he walked forwards too, hovering over Minjun.
Minjun shot a glare across at Junho as he came closer, “that’s you bottom of the list for who gets to cuddle her.”
“I didn’t mean it, don’t let me be last,” Junho frowned across at him.
“I think she’s beautiful,” Nichkhun chimed, trying to take the top spot.
Minjun’s smile turned up, seeing straight through Nichkhun’s tactic too. “I already promised Chansung that he could have the first cuddle.”
The other boys all gasped as Chansung walked through them all, his arms extended out and ready to take your daughter. Minjun carefully rose to his feet, placing your daughter down cautiously into Chansung’s hold.
“I drove them to the hospital when Y/N went to labour,” Chansung explained to the rest of the group, “but only on the promise that I’d get first cuddles.”
“That’s ridiculous,” Taecyeon groaned, “how come none of us got that choice?”
Minjun shrugged in reply to him, “we didn’t need five people to drive us to the hospital, and Chansung was just in the right place at the right time.”
“I would’ve driven you,” Wooyoung groaned as you made your way into the kitchen to start organising drinks for everyone. With Chansung smugly sat on the sofa in the living room, the others joined him, still pouting and complaining.
“Do you need a hand?” A voice asked you as you opened up one of the kitchen cupboards, reaching up and grabbing seven glasses onto the countertop.
Your smile widened as you looked to your left to see Nichkhun walking towards you, grabbing the last couple of glasses for you. “It still hurts to do a lot,” you sighed, letting him know just how hard of a time you were having, thankful for the help.
Nichkhun nodded understandingly as he started to take control of things for you in the kitchen, knowing that he’d get his turn to hold your daughter eventually. Instead he wanted to check on you, make sure that you were doing alright.
You were more than happy to stand back and let Nichkhun help you too. “Thank you,” you told him once he had everything sorted for you and the boys.
“There’s no need to say that,” he smiled back across at you, playing the filled glasses onto a tray to carry through. “I can’t begin to imagine what your body has been through this past week, you probably need the respite.”
Your head nodded as you followed behind Nichkhun back into the living room. “Minjun’s been amazing, but I can’t help but feel like I rely on him too much,” you admitted, keeping your voice quiet so that none of the others could hear you.
“It takes time, you shouldn’t rush something as huge as giving birth,” Nichkhun reminded you, keeping his eyes on you as you walked. “You know that if you ever need help and Minjun is busy, I’m only a phone call away from you.”
As soon as the two of you walked back into the room, groans came from the boys again as they saw through Nichkhun. None of them thought he was helping, instead they guessed that he was being nice to be next after Chansung.
You didn’t mind at all though as you took a seat beside Minjun on the sofa. “How does it feel to have five babysitters around for a little while?” You asked him with a chuckle.
“It’s nice to relax for a little while,” he smiled at you.
A hum of agreement came from you as you relaxed back against the sofa, “I could get used to this,” you laughed, watching as Chansung continued to dote over your daughter whilst the rest of the boys all made room for the drinks that Nichkhun brought.
It was exactly how you hoped that things would be, the boys were more than happy to do anything for you, all keen to get the chance to hold your daughter. For once too, you and Minjun were able to take a breather for a little while, after a week of full on baby watching, and sometimes panicking, now you had the boys to help you out.
“I think we should move in you know,” Taecyeon told you both as he continued to watch Chansung, noticing Nichkhun edging closer and closer. “Think of all the help you guys would have if we were here constantly.”
“There is no way that I’m going back to those days,” Minjun sniggered.
“The dorm wasn’t even that bad,” Junho told him, pushing gently against Minjun’s leg. “Plus we’ve grown up since then, I mean we’ve got husbands, dads, successful actors and idols, I think it would be a good idea.”
Minjun’s head continued to shake across at Junho, “as soon as Y/D/N’s bath time arrives, I’m kicking you guys out.”
“You’re so cruel,” Wooyoung frowned, turning his attention to you as he joined Junho’s side. “Y/N, you wouldn’t want to get rid of us, would you? We can all be as helpful as Nichkhun whilst you recover as you need us to be.”
“An hour with you guys is enough,” you teased, “but you know that in the day you’re always welcome to stop by whenever you want to.”
Minjun’s eyes widened as you spoke, “always?” He asked you, unsure if you’d realised what you had said.
“Y/N said always,” Junho cheered, “prepare to be disturbed you guys.”
“Maybe I shouldn’t have said always.”

minjun drabble based on the MUST trailer- warnings; fluff, slight spice. all lowercase typing.
it was late, the cityscape shining against the black of night. she sighed softly, padding towards the living room, seeing the light still on. “minjun?” she called, seeing her husband with glasses still on and papers in his hands. “come on honey, it’s late. put that down and let’s go to bed,”
“just one more thing,” he called, shaking his head as he adjusted his glasses. “i’m almost done with this song.”
“nope,” she shook her head, crossing the room in a few strides. she watched him take his glasses off in surprise, the curtain open to the city across the way.
“what do you mean?-“ his question was cut off as she sat herself in his lap for a moment, playing with the collar of his shirt.
“i said, let’s go to bed honey,” her voice was sweet and sultry, and this time minjun couldn’t resist. he scooped her up into his arms easily, carrying her straight to the bed where he laid down with her.
“good, now let’s sleep.” she chuckled, shaking her head before minjun caught her jaw with his hand.
“oh no baby, you wanted me in bed, so here i am. no sleeping for a while, hmm?” he looked into her eyes before capturing her lips with his own.
maybe sleep was overrated anyway.

Bad Little Girl - Pt 2 (M)
Hella long. Smut from start to finish.
Previously;
As Jun massaged the redden, hand print ridden areas; Nichk finally let up on you. A soft giggle flowed out of him as he traced the area he practically latched onto with his fingertips, “So pretty..” He purred beside your ear, “I can’t wait to bruise you up babygirl.”
His lewd words led your mind to go wild with thoughts of what they’d do to you, a soft whine flowed out of your parted lips the moment you felt the wetness between your legs completely soak through the silky fabric of your panties. “Daddy... Please.. “ You whimpered out, your eyes still completely fixated on Jun’s teasing hand.
“What princess?” He asked, peering up at you through his heavy-lidded eyes; licking those plush lips of his. Pushing up your dress, exposing your heavily drenched panties- a soft groan of approval flowed out of the two of them, “Wow-” Jun chuckled, running his thumb along the outline of his lower lip. “-Looks like our little slut really, really wants us Khunnie..”
Nichk smoothly sank down to the floor beside Jun to get a better look at your drenched cunt, “Fuck.” He hissed just as he roughly groped your voluptuous thighs, “You’re so fucking wet, little one..” Licking his lips, he turned to the other man as his fingertips scraped along your inner thigh. “What do you think we should do Hyung? Should we do what we talked about?- or should we give our slut what she wants?”
Jun peered over to Nichk only for a second before a sly, mischievous smirk painted across his face. “Let’s do what we planned..” He chuckled, his attention returning to your soaked panties as he gently ran his finger along the indention of your slit just before pulling them to the side; exposing your glistening folds. That smile of his stay as he listened to the sweet desperation filled sounds that poured from your parted lips, “After all, Khunnie, she looks so pretty when she begs for us.”
With a simple nod, Nichk silently agreed as he licked his plush lips- his mouth practically yearned to be on you; to taste your sweetness, to hear the angelic mewls escape you as your body writhed underneath him. “Can I start?” He asked his friend, completely unable to hide the underlying tone of pure desire as his sex-hungry eyes scanned over your curvaceous form.
Taking his hand away from your thigh, Jun offered him a gentle back rub; nodding at his eager friend. “Of course, Khunnie, just don’t break her yet-” He snickers, nipping at his lips as his darkened gaze returned to you; his eyes locking with yours. “You’re gonna be a good girl, for us- for your Daddies, aren’t you babygirl?”
“Yes, Sir..” You timidly mewled, as your eyes fixated on both of the gorgeous men who knelt before you, “I- I promise I’ll be good..”
“That’s my girl..” Nichkhun bit his lower lip as he flashed you a bright, impish smile as his hand trailed further up your thighs, only touching you needy flower ever-so-slightly; relishing the small purr that flowed out of you. His fingertips gently sunk into your slit, lightly grazing your sensitive little pearl as he made delicious little heart shaped motions on top of it.
Sinking back into the cushions, you lightly shut your eyes leaving your reddened lips parted as your sweet moans flowed out of your mouth like an erotic song. “Da-” You whimpered as he put more pressure on your flower, he fingers moving down to your wanting entrance.
A pompous smirk painted across his face as he listened to you attempting to speak, “Sh, sh, sh little one..” He cooed, two of his long digits began teasing your sopping hole- almost forcing more of your enticing moans out as he continued his assault. “No talking..” He snickered, those plush lips of his pressing against your inner thigh; his fingers slowly sinking into you as he harshly bit down on your sensitive flesh.
The loud little whines that escaped you brought a smile to his face- it sounded like music to his ears. “Hmm, so beautiful babygirl...” Nichk purred as he pulled away from your thigh, “You feel so fucking tight, princess..” He practically growled as he finger fucked you at a slow, steady pace.
Jun stood from his spot, his arms folded across his chest as he watched over y’all’s playtime; after all, he adored watching how easily you were able to come undone, how easily you became putty in their hands. “Do Khunnies fingers feel good princess?” Jun snickered just as Nichk quickened his pace; curling his fingers to perfectly hit your most sensitive spot drawing out your gorgeous, high pitched moans. A smirk painted across his face taking the erotic sounds that left your mouth as a definite yes, “Thought so.”
“Jun-” Nichk called out to the other man as he slowly pulled his digits out of your sopping cunt causing your face to contort as you held back your protesting whimper. “Look how fucking wet she is.” He snickered, separating his fingers showing him how your essence strung between them before taking them into his mouth; sucking them clean.
His attention turned away from Jun and back to you, that playful glint in his eye completely dissipated as he remembered why you three were in this situation in the first place. Butterflies filled your tummy as your anxiety sky-rocketed. you carefully watched as he stood from his place between your legs.
Nichk began undoing his belt, pulling it free in an instant then stepping back over to you. He grabbed the silk that bound your hands behind your back and forced you face down onto the couch. “Now babygirl..” He spoke in a lowly growl, his fingertips trailing from your lower back up your spine before grabbing a fistful of your hair. Roughly shoving your face into the cushion he felt this sense of pure aggression come over him, “You’re our little girl-” He snarled as he let up on you; holding the belt tightly in his hands, “-Why do you like testing our authority? Huh? Why do you insist on acting like some kind of stray?”
Chills ran down your spine as you listened to his harsh, intimidating questions. Though you tried to reply, nothing but a timid whimper escaped your lips. He, of course, didn’t like that at all. The cool material of the leather belt sharply licked your bum cheek forcing out one of your pained mewls. “You want to act like a cheap little slut, right?” He growled, the belt connected with your bum once more, “You want to act like a big girl and make your daddies jealous right?”
Tears began to gather in the corners of your eyes as Nichk brought the belt down on you once again; smacking so many time you lost count. The entire house was filled with your muffled yelps and shaky sniffles, “Da- Daddy..” You whimpered, attempting to squirm away from his range.
His hands roughly gripped your hips, dragging you back into place. “Where do you think you’re going? Huh, slut?” He snarled, using one of his hands to grip a fistful of your hair; yanking you up to your knees.
Suddenly, Jun appeared in front of you clicking his tongue as he shook his head. A smug grin sprawled across his face; Tsk, tsk, tsk. “Now, now kitten-” He cooed, roughly gripping your lower jaw. “Why don’t you answer your Daddy? Hmm?” His grip on your jaw grew tighter with each passing second, “Or is our big girl scared?”
The moment you heard the underlying mocking tone in his voice, your confidence suddenly seemed to spike. “I- I’m not scared..” You mumbled, sniffling as your tears slowly came to a halt.
“Well, then why don’t you answer?” Nichk snarled; his lips right beside your ear. “Or is it that you just enjoy pissing your Daddies off?”
Hearing that aggressive snarl and feeling the combined roughness of both men sent every nerve in your body on complete overdrive. A needy whimper flowed out of you as one of Jun’s hands began to run against your wanting slit, “May- Maybe..” You whined, tugging as your plush lower lip between your teeth.
Jun slowly pulled his hand away from your flower, looking over at Nichk; who didn’t seem to appreciate your answer- shaking his head at you, “Khunnie doesn’t like brats, little one-” He snickered, combing his long fingers through his jet black hair. “-You also know how much he loves putting them back in the place, don’t you remember the first time we met?”
The moment he said that the memories of the three of you having your first official session together flooded your mind. You remembered how mouthy you had been with him for days beforehand, then your body involuntarily shivered as you thought about how Nichkhun had your ass bruised and sore for almost weeks after.
Tilting his head slightly, his lips turned up in a wicked smirk as he felt you shiver against him. His hand moved from your arm, trailed across your chest as he wrapped his forearms around your throat; “You know what, little girl-” He began in a hefty growl, moving your head to the side as his grip around your throat tightened; his plush lips grazed against your shoulder.
The leather belt licked the side of your thigh at least three times filling the house with your shaky yelps once more, “-It seems like I’m going to fucking put you back in your place.” Without warning, he released his hold on you causing air to rush into your lungs as he shoved you back down onto the couch; this time grinding his hardened, clothed member against your backside.
Soft moans escaped you as your body relished the feeling of him against you. “D- Daddy.~” You sweetly purred as he began pushing his manhood against your aching cunt. “Daddy, please I- I’m..”
Before you could finish your sentence one last sharp lick of the belt connected with your bum cheek, causing you to arch your back in response before tossing the weapon off to the side. His hand smoothly ran down the small of your back drawing out on of his deliciously sinful groans. “Such a pretty little slut...” He cooed, his hand trailing back down to the reddened, sore flesh on your lower half.
Suddenly, Jun joined the two of you- cupping your face as he slowly pulled you up to his crotch; rubbing his solid member on your cheek. Your mouth watered as you began to longing to taste him. Peering up at him through your lashes, you could see the same darkness that enraptured Nichkhun’s.
With one hand, he undid his jeans; pulling them down only enough his hardened member to spring free. He hissed at the mix of your warm breath and the cool air brushed against the tip. “I bet-” He lowly purred, wrapping his large hand around the base of his cock as he smacked it on your plush lips. “I bet you really want your Daddies to use every one of your pretty holes, huh kitten?”
Nodding your head, you opened your mouth and stuck out your tongue for him. His cock brushed your tongue, only allowing you to get a taste of the little beads of precum that began gathering at his tip. The sound Nichk undoing his pants suddenly had your hips swaying side to side. “Wow-” He scoffed, stilling your movements with one hand as he grasped his length. “You’re such a needy little slut.”
Nothing but a soft moan came out of your mouth as he began running the tip of his hard cock along your slit; putting just the slightest bit of pressure on you. “I- I need you both..” You whimpered as the wetness between your legs was practically dripping down your thighs, “-so, so fucking badly.”
Jun’s hand suddenly connected with your cheek, drawing out a pleasure-filled yet pained moan. “Watch your mouth, little girl.” He growled, brushing hair out your face as he furthered his length into your mouth, “Unless you want Khunnie to get his belt again.” His chuckle became airy as his breathing staggered slightly the moment you eagerly curled your tongue around the underside of his member.
You moaned around his member as you felt Nichkhun’s hands brushing against your cunt as he grabbed the crotch of your panties; practically ripping them apart as he gave them a hard yank. He groaned at the sight of your flowing wetness, immediately running the head of his cock along your sopping folds. “Fuck-” He snarled, grazing against your clit every so often. “You’re so fucking ready for us? Aren’t you kitten?”
A loud groan flowed out of Jun as he watched your plush lips wrap around him, “You know she is..” He uttered to the other man, pumping his member in and out of your mouth at a steady pace as Nichk slowly pushed himself into your entrance causing you to whimper in response. “She’s always ready for her Daddies to use her-” He softly growled as you hollowed your cheeks around him, “She’s such a well trained little slut, after all, Khunnie.”
Nichk began a steady pace inside you, his soft groans with mix with Jun’s along with your muffled moans. “Very true..” He replied with a smug smile, shuddering as your tight velvet snuggly wrapped around him, “We trained her well, didn’t we?” He purred as he would irregularly quicken his pace inside you.
Your moans and whines were stifled by Jun’s cock. The older man quickened his pace, hitting the back of your throat every couple thrusts. He could see you struggling as your breathing staggered, “It’s okay, little one, it’s okay-” He sweetly groaned, combing his fingers through your hair; smiling brightly as more mascara-filled tears streamed down your cheeks every time he pushed further down your throat. “Breathe through your nose, okay? You know that baby, just breathe.”
Nodding, you continued to moan around him as Nichk’s thrusts became more and more energised by the second. Soon you found it hard to continue working Jun’s cock as your moaning became constant. He noticed this, of course; his hands gripped fistfuls of your hair as he mercilessly began thrusting into your mouth.
The entire house filled with the erotic song that was made up by the lewd slurping and whines that flowed from you and the combined groans and growled coming from the two men. Suddenly Jun’s entire length was down your throat, your nose barely touched his toned abdomen as he held you there; stilling you as Nichk viciously pounded into you.
“Fuck, your-” Jun snarled, fully pulling out of your mouth and only allowing you to take a few breaths before practically slamming himself back down your warm throat, “-your throat feels so nice all wrapped around my cock, kitten.”
He glared down at you, watching as you quickly became a mess; mascara coloured your flushed cheeks while a mix of pre-cum and drool dripped down your chin. “God, you look so fucking gorgeous right now, little one.” He hissed as he retracted his member from your throat once again.
You wriggled your bound hands around, trying your hardest to free yourself so you were able to touch your beloved Daddies. Nichkhun tightly gripped the silk that kept your hands from moving, holding on it as the other harshly dug into your hip.
“Not uh.” He growled, pounding into relentlessly groaning loudly as he watched his friend face fuck you. “This stays on babygirl until we decide otherwise.” Immediately he found himself shutting his eyes as his head slunk back, he always adored the way you felt; your warmth and wetness were a feeling like no other.
Looking over at his friend, Jun snickered, “Looks like you’re enjoying yourself...” He airily teased his friend, following with his playfulness with his hefty moans as his length sunk back down your throat.
Slowly, Nichk opened his heavy-lidded eyes; ruthlessly drilling into you as he eyed Jun. Without warning, he released his grip on your restraints, then reached over to Jun gently grasping his lower jaw; pulling him in for a sloppy, passionate kiss as they both continued their powerful thrusts into you.
As they slowly pulled away from each other, they peered down at your messy yet delicate form. Admiring the lewd sounds that came from you.
You could feel their stares burning into you, your heart races as breathing became harder and harder for you. Muffled moans and whimpers where the only thing you were capable of vocalising as your climax inch closer by the second. Your velvety walls clenched around Nichk’s member forcing out his wonderfully enticing groans.
Jun could tell you were close just by the ecstasy that clouded your gorgeous eyes, “You close babygirl?” He purred, stilling his movements for a moment; allowing you to respond.
Your body shuddered as Nichk continued his toe-curling assault while you instinctively hollowed your cheeks around Jun’s cock; gently bobbing your head up and down his shaft as you weakly nodded, glancing up at him with this needy look in your doll-like eyes.
The moment you nodded, Jun began his rough face fucking again; letting out the most orgasm-inducing snarls and groans you had heard from him in a long time. Your walls clenched around him as your whimpers seemed to turn into pleas for him to allow you to cum.
His shaky hiss turned into a soft chuckle, his fingertips buried themselves further into your hips as he fiercely fucked you. His thrusts began to sputter as his breathing became laboured, the way you tightened around him was almost enough to push him over that edge as his high neared. “Fuck-” He breathlessly snarled, slamming into you with long hard strokes as he practically forced you closer to the edge, “Cum for me babygirl. Cum all over Daddy’s cock..”
Nichk’s lewd words and forceful strokes threw you straight over the edge, sending you tumbling down that euphoric abyss. Your body became tense and your eyes seemed to roll back as your orgasm shook your entire body to its core.
Jun’s thrusts suddenly became sloppy as well, his eyes fixated on you as he watched you unravel beneath them. “Shi- Shit..” He shakily whined, shoving his cock completely into your mouth; his member twitched as warm streams of his cum coated your throat. His movements slowly came to a halt, allowing himself to recover from his sudden orgasm before pulling himself out of your mouth. Strings of cum dripping from your lower lip, as he tucked himself back into his pants.
Air rushed into your lungs as you attempted to steady your staggered breaths. Your moans were loud and clear, now, as Nichkhun refused to let up on your jaded body.
“D- Daddy.~” You whimpered, peering up at Jun who sat just a few inches away from you; carefully watching Nichk relentlessly chase his high.
His calmed gaze turned to you, “Yes, my love.” He replied, licking his lips as his long fingers ran through your hair. Unfortunately, you found yourself completely unable to utter out another word. Your mind seemed to go blank as another orgasm crept up on you.
“Fuck-” Nichk breathlessly chuckled the moment he felt your walls tighten up around him once more. “You gonna cum again, kitten?” Nothing but loud, desperate moans flowed out of your parted lips as you frantically nodded in response.
“Me- Me too.” He stuttered, moving his bruising grip from your hips to your shapely bum, “Cum with Daddy, okay? Cum with me, jagi..” Just as he uttered these words, he quickened his pace inside you one last time; slamming in and out of you as hit your most sensitive spot perfectly.
Not even a couple minutes after, your body tensed for a millisecond before turning into jelly as your orgasm took over. Your whimpers came to a halt as your breathing quickened; you would’ve collapsed right then and there if it were for you already being face down on the couch. Your walls clenched around Nichk’s member causing his climax to wash over him like a giant, powerful wave. He leaned forward, laying himself on your back as he emptied his load inside you.
“You okay kitten?” Jun asked, kneeling down in front of you as Nichk rose from his spot; untying your restraints as he tucked his member back inside his jeans. “Nod if you’re feeling okay, princess.” A weak whine escaped you as you moved onto your side, nodding as you moved your sore arms out in front of you. Grabbing your wrists, Jun examined the area for any sign of bruising; gently massaging them before planting tender kisses on the backs of your hands.
Sliding in behind you, Nichk carefully lifted your legs; laying them on top of them as he sat down. He delicately ran his hand along the bruises that peppered the sensitive skin of your thighs and bum before leaning down, placing soft kisses on the sore areas. “I hope this makes you think twice about straying off again, little girl..” He teased, placing one last kiss on your ouchies before sitting himself back up. His large hand caressed your leg as he watched Jun begin to baby you, “You’re our little girl, y/n. No one else's, remember that.”

Slow Dancing
Yunho x fem character
Established relationship x children
Warnings: none
Word count: 153
A/N: another male pov drabble. I have no idea why this came to mind, but here it is.
--------------------------------
"Tale as old as time.True as it can be, Barely even friends, Then somebody bends, Unexpectedly" She sang, as she slow danced, with your 5 year old son in her arms. Slowly rocking back and forth, as Minjun giggled snuggling closer to her. You smiled as you watched the seen lay out in front of you. She gently rested her head on his as the song continued playing from the movie on the screen beside her. Her singing was now a light hum, as she slowly turned continuing rocking your son. Her eyes where closed, a smile on her lips.
You smiled as you held your sleeping baby girl in your arms, softly dancing with her yourself. These are the moments you had always wished for, the small insignificant things. This was all worth the wait. Life wasnt perfect, but this moment was. This moment would live on in your memories forever.

“A Gang Called Icarus” character introductions ⟶ Sharpe (Kim Minjun)
↳ basics: 24 | mirage | college drop-out | green’s twin sister
↳ likes: debate (arguing), learning, anonymity
↳ dislikes: vapid conversation
↳ personality: you know that girl from lecture recitation who never opens her mouth until finally she does, and it’s most eloquent, interesting thing you’ve heard all semester? remember when that girl got a call in the middle of discussion, stepped out to take it, and never came back? she didn’t even come back for her bag. that was kim minjun.
and now, she is sharpe. sharpe is brass tacks and no bullshit. she gets to the point and expects you to already be there. but sometimes that fire in her eyes looks flighty, and nervous. and maybe it’s all just a front. maybe she’s just that nervous girl in class who ran out to take a call from her brother.
but sometimes when she’s with her brother – as she always is these days – she’s silly and tactile, and just a little bit playful, and she tells him brother, i love you.
↳ intro drabble: Sharpe’s gaze flicked to Green, staring at him from the door of the dining room.
“We’ll be back in two days tops,” Sharpe told him, “Don’t get up to trouble while we’re gone.”
She looked at him for a long time, and Green was never very good at discerning her feelings, but it looked like a new kind of pity. She looked at him like she did when they were children. When she was always the smarter one, the good one, and he did something she’d told him not to.
This was worse. She let out a deep breath, and turned back into the corridor. Stone sent him a final lingering stare, and they left.

Jungkook x Reader
---
"Put on a shirt, Kook." You said as he pecked your cheek. His hair still dripping wet from the shower. Scooping up some soup, you went back to feeding your 2 years old son after receiving no reply from your husband. Jungkook gulped his drink while staring at the window, showing an all white scenery as the snow fall on a cold December evening. His doe eyes shined brightly in anticipation as an idea crossed his mind, "Should we take Minjun outside? Junie, let's play with snow, shall we?" The little one, hearing his father called his name, reached out to Jungkook, "Dada, play!" His eyes darted to yours as if asking for your permission, putting on his cutest bunny smile inherited from his beloved dad. "Alright, only after you finish your dinner baby. Then we go play, okay?" He only nodded his head while clapping his chubby hands excitedly, almost slapping his sippy cup away "Baby, do you know where my gloves are? I can't seem to find it," you looked at Jungkook, eyebrows furrowed. "I think it's still in the dryer, I just washed it." As you finished wiping Minjun's lips, Jungkook draped his arms around your neck, hugging you from behind while cooing at Minjun who's happily dancing to a faint sound of Christmas song from your speaker. "Jun, dance with dada and mama." Jungkook grabbed Minjun's hand and swinging them from side to side. You, trapped inside his arms can only laugh at your two favorite men's antics. Moments like this made you feel so grateful to live this life. With Jungkook who loves and adores you, accepted you for who you are and an adorable son who's very cheerful and healthy. You wouldn't ask for anything better, your heart felt so full it would bursts anytime soon. "Ok let mama put this away and prep you up to play outside, bun." Standing up, you tugged Jungkook's arm away. But as you walked, Jungkook pulled you into his warm embrace. "Dress me up too, love? It's getting really cold." Jungkook whined into your neck, breath tickling you. You can feel him pouting, "okay baby number two. I'll dress you up in layers of hoodie too so you won't feel cold alrighty?" Jungkook only giggled cutely, hands squeezing your waist. You pulled away from him, kissing his lips just for the sake of your sanity. "Ugh, I have such an awesome wife," his hand softly caressed your cheeks while you can only shook your head. A blissful smile on your face.

Choices
Concerns
-
The expansive yard of the pack house is busy today, with Hoseok’s pack invading for the monthly barbeque. Since leaving college 8 years ago, he’d inherited the position of Alpha of a local pack that had died off, leaving him with the large house that you both occupied today.
As the Alpha wolf, he not only led his pack and encouraged them, but he had to have a home that was large enough to care for them if necessary. That meant that your doors were always open to his pack and their mates, and there had been many times when you’d come home from work to find some pack member lounging on the couch.
While it meant you often had your intimate times interrupted, it always meant that you both nearly always had babysitters on hand to look after the kids if you wanted to get away. It also meant that you both had a ridiculous amount of space to raise a family in.
The backyard in particular was huge, with the green grass extending out far until it met with the imposing forest. It was a long held fact that most packs tried to have their pack house close to a wooded area, as wolf shifters used the tall trees to hunt when in their wolf form. Seeing a pack of wolves in a forest seemed natural, seeing them run around a city? Not so much.
It wasn’t surprising to have your mate disappear for an hour or two in an evening and come back looking meek before you’d had your daughter, Yuna. Those days, he’d slink into the house to go brush his teeth before slowly idling up to you, curling up next to you wherever you were and being more touchy and affectionate than normal.
He’d never explained his behaviour to you, but Jimin and Jisoo had. The mated pair, who were your best friends, had looked a little awkward with each other at the time, but admitted that he’d go hunting. As they lived in the next house over, it meant they would often go with him.
The days he got meek were the days when he’d hunted and killed a rabbit, and obviously he’d remembered this when shifting back and felt guilty. After all, he was eating the animal equivalent of you.
While it had turned your stomach at the time, you didn’t say anything to him about it to make him feel worse. There would be no point anyway. Hoseok didn’t go around wanting to eat a rabbit, his wolf did. It was just a purely instinctual thing for his wolf nature to chase after the small mammals and eat them after.
That was one of the main reason’s that you didn’t shift around him very often, because no matter how in control of himself he was, his wolf would come out if you shifted and ran. He wouldn’t eat you of course, his wolf would recognise his mate, but it would likely terrify you.
It had all changed though when you’d both had Yuna. Six years ago, your tiny bundle of joy had been brought into the world and Hoseok had been absolutely ecstatic. He’d bragged to everyone who he’d met that he had a beautiful little daughter, and she really was the prettiest baby.
It had been when her animal had begun to make itself known that you’d become worried. Shifter couples of different species struggled to conceive compared to couples of the same species. If you had been a wolf, it’s likely that you both would have a whole litter of kids by now as you’d both decided on a big family.
But the different species often fought each other, making conception hard. It was why in 8 years, you only had Yuna, Taemin and the little one in your belly right now. Jimin and Jisoo already had four kids; two sets of twins.
For children born of different species parents, their animal form only became known after a few months. During this time, they had to be carefully fed a neutral diet if they were born of a combination of predator and prey. It had been with a sinking stomach that you’d inhaled your baby girl’s scent one day and scented rabbit.
You’d been so worried about what his reaction would be. He’d convinced you long ago that he wouldn’t care about having a prey baby, but the reality of that was entirely different. And so you’d watch with trepidation as he’d picked her up to cuddle her and his nose had suddenly began to twitch slightly, leading him to frown and inhale deeply.
“She’s a…” He’d trailed off at the time, looking at you with shock. You’d bitten your lip and he could immediately see the nerves on your face, causing him to laugh quietly. He’d looked down at his little girl and simply hugged her close, nuzzling his nose to her downy soft hair. “Looks like daddy is going to be surrounded by rabbits huh?”
It had been when she’d first shifted though that things had changed for him when hunting. She’d been eight months old, and one second he’d been holding a human baby and then next he’d been holding a tiny rabbit with brown fur that had a reddish tinge. He’d been momentarily shocked before gripping her tighter with a tentative smile.
He’d gone out hunting that night with the others, and had burst into the house only an hour later to go vomit in the toilet. When you’d followed him in, panicking that he’d hurt himself or something, he’d looked up at you with tears streaming down his face as his lips quivered. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it.”
Turned out he’d hunted a rabbit, only Jimin had told you that when he’d killed it, he’d simply stared at the body before staggering away. Jisoo suspected it was because both he and his wolf didn’t see a wild rabbit at that moment, but his tiny daughter instead.
He’d never hunted a rabbit since.
Your son, Taemin, had arrived four years later and he’d proved to be a wolf. It had pleased you to know that Hoseok had a wolf child at last, but you’d worried still. And you still worried, because your little girl was not acting the same lately.
Right now, she was playing with her big crush, Jungkook. The young wolf knew about her little feelings and he indulged her frequently, letting her cling onto him and always having a story to tell her. It was kind of sweet to be honest.
Hoseok was sat on the grass with Jimin while they both play wrestled with Taemin and Jimin’s eldest two, Minjun and Sejun. All three boys were howling with delight, even if Hoseok was being extra careful to hold his power at bay.
You on the other hand, were sat on the porch in the shade and sipping on a frosty glass of lemonade. Jisoo was next to you, her own swollen stomach far bigger than yours. It was triplets this time, which truly boggled your mind.
“I swear, I love Yuna’s crush on Jungkook. The boy gets more awkward than a nun in a brothel around girls yet there he is, giving the good old college effort.” Your jaw drops and you gape at her in simultaneous disgust and shock.
“Jisoo! She’s six! Please! Jungkook is awkward around grown women, not the little girl who’s basically his niece. Besides, it’s adorable how shy she gets when we tell her he’s coming around. Hoseok is never letting it go, I swear. She’ll be 50 and he’ll tease her about it.” You muse, lips turning up in a smirk.
“Jimin is convinced with Minjun has a crush on his kindergarten teacher. He does the same thing and goes bright red whenever he’s around, it’s so cute. Argh, why are they so cute? I just want to squish them and never let them grow older. Especially Yuna! I’ve never seen anything so adorable as when she shifts. Her rabbit is so small! And she’s the perfect colouring mix of you and him.” She coos, clapping her hands together with excitement.
You laugh and nod, acknowledging what she was saying. Whereas your son was apparently a black wolf, with a solid head of the purest black hair which translated into a beautiful glossy coat, your daughter was the mix of your tan rabbit and his russet wolf.
Unlike wolves though, rabbit colouring doesn’t affect your hair and so she simply has a head of dark hair like her brother. “She is pretty cute isn’t she? You should see how she used to sleep on him, she’d shift and sprawl out in his lap for her afternoon naps.”
There’s no need for you to explain why you’re telling her this. Rabbit shifters by their nature are fearful of predator shifters, and despite growing up with a wolf father and a constant menagerie of wolf shifters in the house, she still maintained her jumpy instincts. Even you still jumped at the others.
But not with daddy though. You weren’t sure why, but there was zero fear when it came to her dad, even if he was an Alpha wolf. If anything, she saw him as a protector, which was why she was so comfortable shifting into her vulnerable form and sleeping on him.
Jisoo takes a bite of her hamburger and nods with a sweet smile. “God, I wish I could see that. Next time she does it, please take a picture. We all want to see Hoseok with a tiny rabbit on him, I bet it’s the cutest thing ever.”
Taking a large bite of your own veggie burger, you chuckle and agree to her request. Casting an eye out, you watch as Taemin leaps at the larger Sejun and laugh as he gets rebuffed. Moving on to Yuna, you note her stood by Jungkook’s legs as he eats what looks to be a burnt sausage.
Eyes widening as he offers her a bite, you sit up straight and shout out immediately. “Jeon Jungkook! Don’t you dare feed my daughter that sausage! She can’t eat meat remember!” At your words, the wolf cowers and looks over at Hoseok with an apologetic look on his face.
It had been a hard learning exercise for the pack to realise that prey shifters were vegetarians for a reason and not by choice. While you could handle things like eggs and milk, actual meat simply couldn’t be digested properly. When Yuna had been younger, one of them had accidentally given her a burger and she’d been sick for days after.
Hoseok had never gotten so angry before.
The little girl in question looks over at you with wide eyes that go glassy at being denied something, and even from here you can see her lips wobbling. A soft sob leaves her and you sigh softly, knowing that she’s probably going to have a tantrum now at not being allowed the sausage.
She may be six, but she was unfortunately pampered by everyone.
The sound she makes inspires an entirely different reaction in Jungkook though, and despite the fear that slices through your body, you’re immediately standing to protect her. Even if your limbs are quivering with fright.
You don’t blame the wolf, a tiny prey shifter had just made a sound that would set off any predator instincts and he’d reacted without thinking. Yuna’s tantrum is immediately thrown off course as she cowers at the fierce growl that erupts from Jungkook’s chest.
Letting out a wailing shriek, she begins to run away in fear and you see almost every wolf take a step forward before forcing themselves to stop. Hoseok’s head swivels around immediately with wide eyes and he spots his daughter running away in fear.
Without question, he opens his arms and you watch as within the space of a step she shifts into her tiny rabbit form and frantically hops to him, leaping up into his arms and nuzzling her head as far into the space between his arm and body as she can. Waddling over to the two, you crouch down next to them and stroke your daughter’s little furry body, soothing the frantic twitches as she breathes so fast.
Hoseok watches her for a moment before looking up at Jungkook with anger firing in his eyes, every ounce of his lean body primed to protect. Scanning his eyes over the rest of the pack, he lets out a loud snarl that has his teeth baring, the sound rumbling out of his chest furiously as waves of dominance roll off him.
All the wolves immediately cower with the exception of the babies, still too young to be affected by him yet.
“My daughter is not for eating. Remember that.” He hisses, each syllable vibrating with an Alpha’s dominance and a father’s protection. Everyone lowers their head in acquiescence and Jungkook is practically on the floor, soft whimpers leaving his mouth as he tries to please his Alpha and apologise.
The rest of the barbeque passes with the tone lowered a little, the panic that Yuna had gone into muting the happy mood from earlier. Hoseok spends the rest of the day with her in his arms, and you muse to yourself that at least Jisoo is getting her wish of seeing him with a little rabbit.
-
It’s hard to get your two children to sleep that night, with Taemin still bouncing with energy around the room from his extensive playdate. Yuna on the other hand, is quiet and subdued. As Hoseok takes care of your son, you put her to bed and sit next to her as she lays under the covers, her hair splayed prettily on the pillow while she looks up at you with wide eyes that look so much like his.
There’s something that she’s not happy with, and you can tell. All afternoon she’d not been her usual happy self and had stuck close to Hoseok even when she’d shifted back eventually. Stroking a hand through her hair, you give a soft smile and watch her for a moment.
“What’s wrong peanut?” You ask quietly, using the nickname that Hoseok and you had begun using when you’d been pregnant with her. She may only be six, but you often thought she’d been inhabited by an old soul sometimes.
Yuna stays quiet for a little longer, small hands playing with the ribbons on her covers before she meekly speaks. “I’m sorry I shifted mommy. I know I’m not supposed to with wolves.” The words are so soft, yet layered with sadness and your heart breaks.
Moving around, you lower yourself to the bed and make sure that your pregnant stomach doesn’t become an annoyance before resting a hand on her chest lightly. “It’s okay sweetheart, you got scared! You’ll learn to not do that as you get older, and I’ll tell you a secret. Even mommy shifts sometimes when she’s really scared.”
Your little girl doesn’t smile or laugh though, and instead a thick film of tears appears almost immediately. Almost instantly, you feel a wave of motherly protectiveness and despair rise. “Daddy doesn’t shift when scared. Daddy’s brave.” She says, lower lip puckering out as it trembles.
Letting out a sigh, you cup her cheek and smile at her. “Daddy’s a wolf, and he’s a strong wolf. He doesn’t get scared very often, but that’s good because then he can protect you!” You say brightly, trying to cheer her up.
It seems to be the wrong thing to say though, as fat tears slowly begin to roll down her face. “Daddy doesn’t have to protect Taemin then?” She asks and your heart wrenches. You have a feeling that you know why she’s so upset now, and bringing up her younger brother just cements it.
Cuddling closer, you tug your little girl into your arms and kiss her hair gently. “Daddy will protect Taemin just as much as you. It’s his job, it’s my job too. That’s what we do, and even when you’re old and grey, we’ll still protect you if we can.” You cajole, voice sweet and loving as you run your hand down her back in soothing motions.
A tiny hiccup comes from her and you swallow thickly, trying hard not to cry yourself. “Do you think daddy doesn’t like me? Because I’m a rabbit and not a wolf?” Her words are quavering and thick with tears, causing you to immediately cuddle her tighter and make negative noises to her.
“No baby! No! Why do you think that? Daddy loves you so much, so much. You’re his special little girl!” You coo to her, fingers running through her soft hair to console her. She lets out a keening sob and you glance at the door, hoping Hoseok’s not overheard. This would break his heart.
“At school...they say daddy doesn’t love me. That daddy eats rabbits like me.” She sniffles then, getting snot all over you but you don’t care. “Is daddy shamed of me? Does he love Taemin more cos he’s a wolf?” Her words are like tiny knives into your heart and you choke quietly on your own sobs.
“No peanut! No! Daddy loves you, and he’s not ashamed of you. He’s so proud of you. He doesn’t care if you’re a bunny or a wolf, he just loves you.” You’re not sure if the words are getting through to her though, as she simply keeps crying until eventually, she’s breathing heavily and the tears are drying on her face.
It takes a lot for you to pull away from your daughter, but you eventually do after wiping her face clean and tucking her in. With a heavy heart, you head downstairs to your mate, Yuna’s words ricocheting around your mind like little tiny bullets of hurt.
Hoseok is sat on the couch, one foot hooked over his knee as he flicks through Netflix idly. He glances over at you and gives a soft smile, hand reaching out to tug you into his side gently. Once cuddled with him, he hands the remote to you and rests his own hand on your stomach, thumb stroking gently.
“Are you okay? You were gone a while. Is she okay?” He asks, concern in his voice. It’s only then that he takes a closer look at your face and frowns. “Why are you crying? What’s wrong? Is there something wrong with Yuna?” Immediately he’s looking towards the staircase and you pat his thigh to calm him.
You didn’t want to mention anything to him, but the memory of hearing your little girl cry at the thought of him not being proud of you has the words blurting out before you can even realise it. “Are you ashamed of Yuna?”
He recoils at the words and looks at you with wide eyes, disbelief etched into every space while his jaw drops open. “Ashamed? Why would I be ashamed of my daughter?” Hoseok is incredulous in his response, looking around to try and figure out what caused this. “Is this because she shifted at the barbeque? That wasn’t her fault!”
Shaking your head, you take his hand and entwine your fingers together firmly. “It’s not, I don’t think. I mean maybe? I don’t think you are but she...she…” It’s hard to get the words out, particularly with the knowledge that it’s going to hurt him a lot to find this out.
“She what?” He asks, facial expression grave as if he’s not sure if he should be asking this. Inhaling deeply, you let it out slowly to try and centre yourself before squeezing his hand.
“She thinks you don’t love her as much as Taemin. Because she’s a rabbit and he’s a wolf. She thinks you’re ashamed of her.” There’s absolute silence from your right, and when you look over you see his jaw dropped open while a look of absolute distress has taken over his face.
Brows creasing in upset, he looks forward as his eyes rapidly shift to the familiar wolf amber you’re more used to during intimate times. He goes to speak a few times, only to find he can’t get the words out before he’s letting go of your hand and leaning forward, running his fingers through his burnished hair.
“She thinks I don’t love her?” He whispers softly, voice quivering with probably a million emotions that are firing in his body. If it had hurt you to hear it, you knew it was probably hurting him far more to know that he was the cause of his daughter’s pain and low self-esteem.
“I love her so much. I don’t care if she’s a rabbit or a wolf, she’s my daughter. I’d love and protect her just as much if she was a wolf.” He pauses and looks at you with a distraught expression. “Do I seem like I don’t love her enough? Do I not pay her enough attention? Or do I do things with Taemin more? Am I doing it wrong?”
His voice goes meek then, and it tugs at your heart as you’d never heard your powerful and dominant mate sound so vulnerable before. “I’m gonna be honest, I don’t really know how to parent a rabbit. I mean, I don’t know how to parent anything properly but...it’s hard to know if I’m doing things right with her. Am I doing it wrong?” He asks softly, those beautiful golden eyes glassing over with unshed tears.
Wrapping your arm around his back, you nuzzle his shoulder firmly as you try to assuage his fears. “You’re not doing it wrong! You’re an amazing father Hobi, you’re so good. And I know it’s probably hard for you to raise a rabbit daughter, especially given you’re an Alpha wolf, but god you do it so well. You saw today! At the first sign of danger she was hopping into your arms for protection.”
He lets out a choked noise and his body shakes for a moment. “If I was doing a good job then my daughter wouldn’t be thinking I’m ashamed of her when she’s only six years old.” Hoseok sounds dull now and the way his shoulders drop let you know that he’s probably having a moment of self-loathing, something which is rare for him.
Sighing deeply, you reach out and tug him into your arms as you sit back against the couch. He rebels for a moment but you can see his worry about hurting you or the baby causes him to stop and he practically slumps against you, head buried into your neck.
“It’s not your fault Hoseok, okay? I mean, I’m sure she’d have had these worries anyway given what you are and what she is, but it’s the idiots at her school that are feeding it. You’ve never shown her anything other than love and affection, and I think she just needs to remember that above the voices of her classmates.” You run your fingers through his soft hair, shifting slightly so that your nose is buried in the red strands.
Breathing in deeply, you inhale the scent of your beloved mate. The smell of wolf has your rabbit quivering slightly but above all that, you just smell Hoseok, the mix of earth from his constant ventures outside and peppermint from his beloved tea. Smiling, you squeeze his shoulders a little tighter as you press your lips to the crown of his head firmly.
“You’re an amazing dad Hobi. Please don’t take this to heart too much, just...work with her to show her that what you say and think is more important than her silly friends. She’s six and always surrounded by wolves, there’s no surprise she’s feeling like this but it’s not your fault. You knew what you were getting into when you let me into your room.” You giggle, referencing back to your last year of college when you’d gone to Hoseok in his heat, spurring on your relationship.
He’s quiet though and doesn’t respond for a few minutes, instead just stroking your belly softly. When he finally does speak though, it’s with words that are sad and make your heart clench. “I hope the baby is a rabbit too, then she can have someone else like her.”
It’s the first time he’s ever specified what he hopes one of your children will be and your stomach drops slightly to hear it. “I hope they’re just healthy and happy.” You murmur into his hair, trying to stave off the tears that want to fall at the dejected tone in his voice. Hearing him get so down has made you officially realise that you don’t like your bubbly wolf being sad.
A groan leaves him as he pulls away from you and rests his elbows on his knees, head flopping into his hands. “I want that too obviously but...if she’s like this now with Taemin...what happens if the baby is also a wolf? She’s gonna feel even worse.”
You go to put a hand on his shoulder but he’s suddenly standing and pacing, long legs eating up the ground and you can practically feel the agitation rolling off him. Years ago it would have had you cowering at him, but now all you want is to make him happy again.
“Hoseok…” You start, but he shakes his head abruptly and runs his hand through his hair, messing it up even more. Looking at you, he reaches out before pulling back and making a frustrated noise.
“I need to go out, I need to...I need to run or something. I’m sorry. Please don’t stay up for me, go to bed when you get tired. Please? I just...I need to think and my wolf is going crazy.” He strides over and cups your cheeks between his hands, vibrant amber eyes looking into your own so closely it’s like you can literally see his wolf, before he leans forward and seals his lips to yours.
When he pulls away, you see so much love and affection in his eyes that it chokes you up for a moment. “I love you, okay? I love you and I love rabbit you, even if she doesn’t come out very often.” His eyes flicker down to your pregnant stomach, which he watches with a fond smile. “And I love our family, even if people find it strange. I love you and our kids so much, don’t ever stop believing that okay?”
With that, he’s presses another quick kiss to your lips and leaves before you can even formulate your response to him. Once he’s gone, you simply stare at the space in front of you before letting out a long sigh.
Relationships and families seem a lot easier and more fun when you’re younger and idealistic, but the reality is that they require a lot of work. Days like today are just proof of that. Standing, you take his half empty mug of rapidly cooling tea and go to clean it up in the kitchen, watching the dark forest out of the window as you do so.
It’s a futile thing to hope that when you wake up tomorrow, everything will be back to normal. But you still hope for it anyway, for both your little girl and your disheartened mate.
-
The days after finding out about Yuna’s concerns are odd. Everything seems normal on the surface, but underneath you can feel the subtle shudders that indicate the tectonic plates of your relationships have shifted ever so slightly. The worst thing is that you don’t know how to fix it. How do you make the Earth shift back into place?
Yuna gives no indication that she’s told you this world shattering secret whereas Hoseok doesn’t seem to know what to do with himself. There’s been so many times that he’s gone to hug Taemin or console him before stopping himself, hands hovering over his head while a look of concern or doubt crosses over as he glances at Yuna.
And he’s starting to overcompensate for it as well. Spending so much time and attention on his little girl that Taemin is beginning to notice, despite him being so young. It makes your heart twist in sympathy for your mate, knowing that he doesn’t know how to resolve this situation properly.
But you know he’s not doing it right though. In his attempts to please and reassure Yuna, he’s pushing Taemin out. And god forbid your unborn child end up a rabbit too, or poor Taemin may grow up with not only the middle child complex but also feeling that perhaps his father isn’t as proud of him because he’s a wolf.
It’s an incredibly messy situation, to the degree that you even begin to self-doubt yourself. Wondering if, perhaps, he regrets mating with a rabbit and causing all these issues years down the line. After all, it’s easy to simply fall in love but it’s hard to think of the potential problems in the future.
A week after you both find out, you finally decide that enough is enough and corner Hoseok in the kitchen. Given the lovely summer evenings, he’s called for another pack barbeque and is busy preparing the food for tonight. Others will bring food too, but as the Alpha he always makes sure to have enough food for everyone to eat.
Right now, he’s cutting a range of vegetables and marinating them in various sauces for you and Yuna, making you smile softly. Hoseok is rapping to the music blasting out of his phone, body jerking as he dances smoothly and you watch fondly. Even after eight years together, you’re still not the biggest fan of his music choices but you accept them and accept that he loves them.
Just like he puts up with your love of rock music. Relationships are always about compromise.
Walking up to him, you gently run your hand down his back and enjoy the feel of his toned muscles underneath his black and yellow hoodie. He doesn’t jerk out of surprise, probably having scented or heard you as soon as you walk into the kitchen but he doesn’t respond either, simply letting you lay your head against his arm and watch as he finishes up.
“Think it’ll be good?” He asks, lifting up the container of skewers to your nose to let you smell. Inhaling, you take in the combination of delicious spices and herbs before smiling in confirmation. He grins back happily, the sight of it making your stomach flip even after all this time
“Good. I made sure to put some red peppers on, I know you’ve got a thing for them lately. But there’s some without aubergine as I know Yuna doesn’t like it.” Pulling away from you, he stores it in the fridge and you spy a series of tupperware containing various veggie-friendly items. He makes no comment about it but you can’t help the way your eyes look at him with just a teeny, tiny bit of sappy love.
If you were a gif, you’d be that ‘heart-eyes motherfucker!’ gif.
Shaking your head, you sigh softly as you remember what you have to discuss with him. He’s already pulling out some steak from the fridge, along with his specific spices to make his famous grilled steak. Resting a hand on his arm, you tug him to a stop before running your hand down to his, gripping his fingers tightly.
“Sweetheart. I need to...we need to...you need to stop.” Is all you can get out, not sure how you can broach the topic to him. His eyebrow come together in confusion while his mouth draws up as he watches you quietly. “I know you’re upset about what Yuna said but...you have to stop. You’re overcompensating sweetie. You keep rejecting contact with Taemin now because you’re afraid of hurting Yuna. But now you’re hurting Taemin.”
Your words make him physically recoil and that awful look of despair crosses over his face as he crosses his arms defensively. “I’m not rejecting Taemin. I love him, you know that. It’s just...Yuna thinks I-”
You cut him off then, pressing fingers to his mouth while you shake your head. “No, you’re doing it. You just don’t realise. I know you don’t mean it, but you’re pushing him away because you’re afraid that if you embrace him, you’ll just reinforce Yuna’s feelings. But that’s not it. You can’t push away one child for the other.”
Hoseok opens his mouth to protest, anguish flashing and your heart squeezes for him. Parenting is hard and you know that he’s struggling to figure out what to do here. “What happens if the baby is a rabbit too? Are you going to favour them over Taemin as well because you’re worried they’ll be upset too? He’ll end up resenting being a wolf.”
He’s looking down at the floor now, a well of tears in his eyes that make his eyes go glassy. “I don’t know what to do. I feel like I’m doing everything wrong.” Hoseok admits quietly, his voice quivering.
“I know this is hard Hoseok, but you need to confront it I think. Be honest with her, talk to her. But don’t push your son away too.” Taking his hand, you squeeze reassuringly before gesturing for him to put the meat away. He does so slowly and allows you to tug him into the living room. Taemin is down for his afternoon nap upstairs while Yuna is sat playing quietly with her toy pegasus and unicorns, a set he’d bought her one afternoon.
“Talk to her Hoseok.” You whisper softly, tugging him down slightly to press a loving kiss on his lips before pushing towards Yuna. He pauses, looking back at you, and you can feel the fear he has. But he doesn’t back away, instead taking a deep breath and sitting down next to her, cross legged.
If he really didn’t want to confront her, then you wouldn’t make him. But you couldn’t help the soft breath of relief as he takes the initiative with her.
There’s a brief pause of uncertainty before he reaches out and takes one of the plastic foals with a horn, making it dance towards her. “Why is Hercules out here on his own peanut?” His voice is soft, the way it always turns when he’s talking to the kids. It’s a far cry from when he’s disciplining the pack.
Yuna’s quiet for a moment before shrugging, two hands making a big unicorn and a big pegasus gallop around. “He just is. Don’t worry daddy, he’s okay.” Hoseok glances at you for reassurance, which you give in the form of a soft smile. Sitting on the couch, you watch them both quietly.
For a few minutes, he just plays with her, a doting smile on his face before he finally takes a deep, fortifying breath. “Hey, do you think Hercules is sad because he isn’t a pegasus like his mommy?”
Yuna pauses for a moment, looking at the plastic unicorn before glancing to the pegasus in her hand. “Probably. Pegasus are cooler than unicorns. He probably wishes he was one too.” Her words, innocent enough, make a flash of pain crossover Hoseok’s face.
“Why are pegasus cooler? I mean...unicorn’s have the cool horn? That’s pretty great too.” He plays with the foal in his hands slowly, watching her reaction intently. She’s quiet before she pushes the big unicorn she’d been playing with over abruptly, the movement far too intense for a simple game.
“Unicorns are dumb. They’re stupid. Pegasus can fly! Hercules would be way cooler if he could fly.” She pouts softly and Hoseok’s face crumples slightly before he calms himself.
“Yuna...I think Hercules should be happy to be a unicorn too. He can’t help what he was born, and unicorns are just as important as pegasus. Pegasus might be able to fly, but unicorns can use magic. And I think that’s just as cool.” He says softly, giving an encouraging smile.
Yuna simply sits and watches, a tiny pout on her lips that looks so like him that you can’t help but smile and look away, despite the seriousness of the moment. You’re not sure how long he plans to keep up the facade, but he surprises you by being honest and abrupt.
“Peanut, do you feel like Hercules does? Do you wish you weren’t a rabbit?” At his words, Yuna’s face starts to fall and you feel the same parental despair wash through you that you witness in Hoseok.
He carries on though, voice getting softer. “Do you think...do you think I don’t love you because you’re a rabbit?” That’s what makes her start to cry, tiny little sobs from your beautiful little girl that make your heart crack horribly. Almost immediately, Hoseok starts to tear up in response to her.
He reaches out and scoops her up into his arms, her body still so tiny even at six and you bite your lip at the sight of them both. “Yuna, peanut, sweetheart. Daddy loves you okay? I don’t care if you’re a rabbit or a wolf, I just want you to be happy and healthy! I’m so proud of my little girl, you’re such a good girl. So good with your little brother and you’re a good girl for me and your mommy.”
His hand is stroking through her hair softly and each time he presses a gentle kiss to the soft strands. “Did you know Yuna...when you first shifted into a bunny, I was so proud! Because you were like mommy, and I knew that mommy wouldn’t be alone as the only rabbit. I love your mommy so much, and I love you just as much.”
Yuna’s little face is almost bright red with her tears, trails of snot dirtying up his hoodie but he doesn’t care. “But Taemin is a wolf like you. And everyone else is wolves too. Rabbits are dumb and get scared.” He lets out a shaky laugh before kissing her forehead.
“Taemin is a wolf, and I love him just as much as you. But I don’t love him more than you okay? You’re my daughter and I don’t care what you are, because I love you so much. And everyone else loves you too! Rabbits aren’t dumb, they’re cute and important! Are you saying your mommy is dumb?” His eyes flicker over to you, causing you to scowl at him bringing you into the conversation like that.
Immediately Yuna gasps, shaking her head rapidly. “Mommy isn’t dumb! Mommy is pretty and kind.” He grins at that, lips spreading in a pretty, wide smile as he looks at you with watery eyes.
“She is pretty isn’t she? And she gets scared like you, but I don’t love her any less because of that. In fact, I think she’s so brave because she faces things that scare her. Just like I think you’re brave. A tiny bunny with the heart of a wolf.” He taps a finger against her chest at that, causing her to giggle through her tears before making a cute growling noise.
Immediately Hoseok looks amused, kissing her head again before nodding. “Yeah, just like that. You’re daddy’s special little girl okay? I love you, and I’ll do anything for you. Please don’t think I’m ashamed of you, because I am so proud of you. Proud of everything you do, proud of what you are. Daddy loves you so much okay?” He whispers, causing her to look up at him through wide eyes that shine with tears.
She doesn’t respond, and you wonder if she’s going to reject his words, but instead she observes him for a moment. Taking in how upset he looks before she suddenly wraps her arms around his neck, squeezing tightly. “I love you too daddy.”
He stares at the floor for a moment, blinking rapidly but not able to stop the tears from falling down as he swallows thickly. Wrapping his arms around her small body, he hugs her to him tightly and gives a trembling smile.
The sound of shuffling from upstairs distracts you and you stand quietly, going to sort out Taemin while leaving the two to reconcile with each other. As you climb the stairs, you’re not sure if everything is completely resolved but you console yourself with the fact that at least they’ve started.
By the time you come back down the stairs half an hour later, Taemin in your arms as he blinks sleepily, you note the silence of the house. Frowning, you reach the living room and note that you can’t see them anymore. Maybe they went outside to play or something?
You begin to head towards the back door before you hear a quiet snore, the sound very familiar to you. Turning, you inch around the couch before taking in the sight in front of you fondly. Laid out on the floor is a big, russet wolf, his form lean and long legged while his fur gleams in the sun that comes in the from the window.
He’s on his side, breaths puffing out quietly and you roll your eyes in amusement. The sight would have inspired terror in you years ago, but you’re long used to the fact that your mate enjoys napping in his wolf form. It’s only when there’s a tiny flicker of movement that you noticed something that makes you internally ‘aww’.
Hoseok’s head is stretched out, his fangs just visible as he sleeps, but underneath his neck is a soft bundle of brown fur with a red tint. Inching closer, you note your daughter sleeping contentedly against her dad in her shifted form. She’d stretched out along the underside of his neck, one long, velvety ear twitching against Hoseok’s jaw while a back leg jerks in her sleep.
Taemin begins to wriggle violently in your arms and you let him down, carefully avoiding your bump and watch as he shifts into a tiny black wolf pup immediately. He runs too fast, his little legs catching each other and practically falls into Hoseok, who shifts slightly, one eye opening before closing lazily.
It only takes your son two turns to curl up in a ball next to Hoseok and Yuna, his nose buried into his tail in happiness. Laughing quietly to yourself, you shake your head while snapping a picture for Jisoo before moving into the kitchen to finish preparing the food Hoseok had started.
Neither of you might know what you’re doing when it came to parenting, but you wouldn’t trade anything for your patchwork family. Rubbing your belly lovingly, you look down with a smile. “Please don’t cause too much trouble for us little one, we’re still trying to find our way okay? But we love you already and I can’t wait for you to meet everyone, even if we’re a little dysfunctional.”

Our First Home ~ Kim Minjun
You smiled weakly across at Minjun as you placed the last of the dishes into the dishwasher, relieved to finally see your house as a home again. The front door was locked shut after having the boys round all evening, embracing the peace and quiet that finally came after hours of hosting what could only be described as chaos.
The two of you were exhausted after cooking for most of the afternoon to try and impress the boys, showing off the new home that you had just invested in for the very first time, determined to shock them with what you had done.
With your hands empty, Minjun walked around and took a hold of the both of them, pulling you through the house until the two of you were able to collapse down on the sofa.
“I love your members, but they are hard work,” you sighed as you rested your head against Minjun’s chest, “really, how have you put up with them for so long?”
“You learn to just play along,” Minjun sniggered as he moved one of his hands to relax around your waist. “I think they enjoyed taking a look around the place, seeing us settle down somewhere properly together.”
Your head nodded in agreement with him as you took a quick look around the living room, “I never appreciated how homely this place is until we showed the boys around, it makes me feel really grown up all of a sudden.”
“I get the feeling looking around that this could be a forever home for the two of us.”
“I agree, I couldn’t imagine the two of us finding anywhere better to live right now.”
You still had a lot of work to do but seeing things slowly coming together was the most important thing for you both, as your house became a home over time.
“I think they plan on staying over here quite a lot too,” Minjun chuckled, “I’m pretty sure I overheard Taecyeon calling the spare room his when they were taking a look around upstairs together.”
Your eyes rolled, although you’d learnt to expect nothing less from the five of them. “I think Chansung mentioned cooking next time, said he wanted to make the most of having a proper full-sized kitchen to enjoy with fancy utensils.”
“As long as he cleans up too, I’d have no complaints.”
Your hand hit gently against Minjun’s chest, “I think that’s the only downside of hosting in a place as big as this, there’s so much cleaning up to do, I think I’ve found a beer can in just about every room around the house.”
Looking around the house, and then to you tucked into his side, Minjun knew there was no place better for him to be. For so long he had imagined himself settling down, trying to find a place that he could truly call home, but he never imagined that he would find someone as special as your place, and to share it with you too was even more special for Minjun.
As you fell quiet, Minjun pressed a soft kiss against the top of your head, “I think the boys might absolutely love you after tonight, you took such good care of them.”
“It’s part of the package of dating you,” you joked, “I don’t just have you to look after, I’ve got five attachments who are joined at your hip to care for as well.”
“One by one hopefully we’ll be able to partner them up,” Minjun teased, smiling widely as you chuckled beside him, “I’ve managed to find someone, so surely it can’t be too hard to set all of them up too.”
Your head shook back across at him, admiring the sincerity that was in Minjun’s voice. Having seen how nice it was for himself to settle down, he couldn’t wait to get to see his best friend’s settle down too and see how it feels watching your friends succeed on the other side.
“Although today has been a lot of effort and a lot of hard work, it’s been amazing to show off to my friends how I’m doing,” Minjun suddenly spoke up again, “I think they’ve worried a lot whilst we’ve moved and settled together, but now that they can see how we’re doing, I think that they’re a lot more comfortable too.”
“Junho came up to me several times today and scolded me to make sure that I take good care of you,” you chuckled, “said that they’d miss not being able to check up on you as much.”
In fact, every member at some point in your evening had made you promise that you’d look after Minjun for them. They hated losing some of their responsibility with Minjun, passing it across to you as the two of you settled into your new home.
Despite their warnings, you knew that they boys were never going to be too far away, as much as they wanted you to care for Minjun, they loved for you to care about them too.
“I can’t wait to come home every night from work and spend my evenings here with you,” Minjun whispered into your ear, “there’s so many things that we can do in this place, this might even be the place that we start a family too.”
“Have you thought about starting a family in here already?”
Minjun’s head nodded as you glanced up to look at him, “it’s a thought that has crossed my mind a couple of times, there’s plenty of spare rooms upstairs, and we definitely can’t be hosting the boys in there for the rest of our lives either.”
“I don’t think they’ll be too happy being kicked out of our home.”
A loud laugh came from Minjun, “I think they’d still offer to sleep in the rooms, it’ll just be uncle duties for them instead if we change them into nurseries.”
You knew that Minjun wasn’t joking, knowing that the boys would do whatever it took to stay with you all. “Maybe we’ll just have to change the locks instead.”
“I tried that it in the old flat, but then one of them just ended up following me home.”
Although the two of you had at least attempted to settle down and find a place of your own, you knew the boys would never be too far away. However, nights like tonight reminded you why their company was so much fun, and why you’d never chose to have things any other way.
“We’ve still got so much tidying up to do,” you whispered across to Minjun, “but I’m far too comfortable now to even think about moving.”
Minjun’s head quickly nodded in agreement with you, “let’s just stay here, there’s always tomorrow to tidy things up.”
“I guess seeing as this is our house now, we can make the rules to do so,” you agreed, offering Minjun a wide smile.
“I love that we have a place for the both of us now.”
The smile on your face continued to grow as Minjun spoke, “to be honest, I think I had pretty much moved into your old apartment already, I don’t think I ever really left.”
“This place is different, it’s truly ours,” Minjun assured you.
“You’re right, this is our first, proper, home.”

hey 🌼 can I request 24.“It’s six o’clock in the morning, you’re not having vodka.” with jinyoung? thanks love xx
24.“It’s six o’clock in the morning, you’re not having vodka.” + jinyoung
word count: 1k
The sound of your alarm woke you up for another weekend. No, it wasn’t the regular buzzing, it was your 5-year-old son calling you out.
“Mommy, wake up!” Minjun’s voice was loud, meaning he was close. You were pretty sure he was yelling by the sides of your bed, but since no one was shaking you yet, you figured he was still a bit distant. You kept your eyes closed and stood still in the hopes of passing by as still asleep, praying he’d wake up Jinyoung instead. Yeah, it wouldn’t do.You felt Minjun shake you by your shoulder in his second attempt to wake you up. You were facing Jinyoung, which meant you could see the smirk in his lips when he saw your shoulders move. Fucking brat. You sighed and decided it wouldn't do a thing to fake sleep, so you just rolled over and saw Minjun’s smile, eyes slowly opening up and adjusting to the light. It was disgusting how cute he looked without a couple of teeth. As soon as the boy saw your face, he smiled and jumped on the bed, “Morning, mommy!” He was lying by your side, voice way too excited for this early in the morning. You gave him a kiss on the cheek, “Morning, baby.” You looked at the clock by your bedside table - 6am. 6am on a fucking Saturday. You loved your child more than anything, but sometimes he was a bit too much. Like now, waking you up at 6am on a Saturday. This was too much. You let out a sigh and realized Jinyoung was still quietly and peacefully lying there. Nope, he’d have to be up too. It was only fair. “Why don’t you go and wake daddy up too?” As soon as you said that, you felt Jinyoung’s hand against your ass, pinching it lightly. You chuckled, “I’m sure he slept enough already.”Minjun nodded, smiled and jumped over you, settling himself between both of his parents’ bodies. You turned around and got ready to watch the scene that was about to happen before your eyes.
Minjun’s small hands were softly placed by his father’s face and before he could say anything, the man suddenly opened his eyes, “AHA!” You shook your head, that little shit.
The young boy let out a scream and hid against your body. You patted his back to soothe him. “Daddy’s a mean man, Minjun.”
Jinyoung chuckled and leaned in to plant a kiss against the back of his son’s head. “Morning, buddy. Sorry about that.”
Minjun’s face was still against your chest and he did nothing but huff at his father’s poor apology. Jinyoung leaned in and pecked your lips, pretty much sandwiching your child. “Morning, baby.”
The kiss earned a stronger reaction from the boy, “Ew, stop kissing!”
You chuckled, “Mkay, we stopped it.” You kissed Minjun’s forehead while Jinyoung moved away and settled himself back at his spot. “Now that you’ve gotten us up at this hour, how about we go downstairs and make a good breakfast?”
Minjun smiled excitedly, “Yes! We can make pancakes!”
“Yes, we can! But please, go to your room and change first. We don’t want flour on your brand new Moomin pajama, do we?”
“We don’t,” Jinyoung said and Minjun agreed. “Go on and change, buddy. We’ll meet you in the kitchen in a second.”
“Okay!” Minjun said while happily leaving the room.
You closed your eyes and sighed, “How can he be this electric at fucking 6am, Jinyoung?”
Jinyoung chuckled, “I don’t know.”
“It’s too early for this, I swear.” All you wanted was to get a bit more sleep on your day off, was that too much to ask? Probably, you guessed.
You felt the bed move below your body and suddenly Jinyoung was placing featherlight kisses against your exposed cleavage, “I can think of something that can help you wake up.”
You hummed at the feeling of your husband’s lips against your skin, “Yeah, I can think of something too.”
He was moving up now, burning traces of his touch being left behind your neck, “Oh really? What?”
“A glass of vodka,” you said in a serious tone.
Jinyoung let out your favorite laugh against your neck at your words, “You’re absolutely ridiculous.”
You laughed with him, “I’m serious.”
“It’s six o’clock in the morning, you’re not having vodka,” Jinyoung said between laughs.
You whined, “Please? Just a bit, I’ll mix it with coffee.”
Jinyoung supported himself with his arms and towered over you, a smile lingering across his lips. He looked the prettiest like that, you thought - face puffed from sleep, light stubble against his chin and swollen eyes. “No way, you have to be a responsible mom.”
You caressed his arms, “Do I really? Aren’t you the responsible parent?”
Jinyoung shook his head, “Sometimes. We have to share the responsibility.”
“Wasn’t carrying him inside me for nine months enough responsibility already?” You chuckled.
“Nope.” Jinyoung leaned in and kissed you again, “Now let’s change and get downstairs before Minjun gets in here and whoop our asses.”
You sighed, “Fine. Help me out of bed.”
“I really don’t know who Minjun got his energy from, but I’m sure it wasn’t from you,” Jinyoung said while getting up and helping you up too.
You nodded in agreement, “I know.”
After changing, cleaning up and sharing a few kisses, you and Jinyoung finally moved downstairs and what you saw wasn’t pretty. Minjun was covered in flour by the counter and there was a broken egg by the floor. How could he have done all that mess in about a few minutes? This kid was simply unstoppable.
You looked at Jinyoung and mumbled, “You sure I can’t have vodka?”
Before he could say anything, Minjun said, “I’m getting started, but I guess I need a little help.”
You shook your head and you swore that, at that very moment, your heart was about to explode with love. You chuckled and move towards the kid that was standing up by a chair and had an apron on, “We’ll help you, baby.”

The next day, the King died.
It was as if a large charcoal cloud had settled over the Kingdom, opaque, blocking out any source of light.
His infection from previous wounds had spread to his heart and his lungs, and he had nearly been in the infirmary for 12 hours before he passed.
News spread quickly, messengers on horseback going to all sides of the Kingdom with sheets of rolled parchment to paste on town message boards.
You thought of the King, his bright smile and kind eyes that looked at you with a glimmer that you couldn’t decipher.
From what you had been told, his passing was peaceful, and he had come to terms with it long ago. Like the noble leader he was, he took it with grace.
Your thoughts drifted to the Queen as you tied the thin laces of your black boots, the air in the women’s quarters stiff.
You wondered if she was okay, if the lines in her face had deepened, if she had known it was coming.
And then you thought of Jin.
You remembered the look of realization in his eyes, the way his irises blew out, his lips drew into a thin line.
You squeezed his hand before he left, your own eyes stinging as you watched him leave the room, shoulders hunched, eyes down.
It was the funeral today, and you clenched your jaw at the small sniffles of the other girls in your quarters.
You waded through the sea of black, groups of people walking together, elbows twisted, bodies pressed together in sadness, hoping for a little comfort.
Jimin found you in the crowd, his hand wrapping around yours, large brown eyes brimmed with tears. No words were exchanged, rather, the warmth of his body against yours offered a sense of comfort.
It was nearing the end of summer, and the air had cooled a little bit, nipping at the skin not covered by your dress.
You settled in the courtyard, eyes finding the bundles of flowers that lined the path down the stairs from the palace.
Murmurs sounded from the crowd of Palace workers, but halted as a lone trumpet played, slow melody bouncing off the cobblestones.
Somber.
The palace doors opened, and you swallowed as the royal guard emerged, hands wrapped around the golden bars that supported the casket.
It was decorated with silver and gold, lavender and sapphire gems glistening the sides.
Jungkook was on the left side, his expression blank as he and the other guards walked together, footsteps in time.
His expression was unwavering, the brightness that usually was so apparent in his eyes gone.
It was like he had aged 10 years.
And behind the golden casket was the Queen, Namjoon,
And Jin.
You felt your heart snap at his expression, a feeling of helplessness washing over you.
He was dressed in dark clothes, golden lining on his blazer and slacks. His outward appearance was composed, expression solely on his fathers casket in front of him.
But it didn’t take you long to see the worry swimming beneath the surface of his irises, the anxiety that made his shoulders hunch just a little bit, the way his he fiddled with his fingers that were clasped tightly behind him.
To the palace workers beside you, he would seem sad, but strong, a Prince who knew his place and knew his duties.
Assured.
But to you, you saw the splinter of uncertainty beneath his regal glaze that made your stomach twist in knots.
You knew that he knew you were watching him, that your gaze would be on him as he walked beside his mother, handkerchief pressed to her reddened nose, eyes puffy from crying.
Jin knew what your expression would be.
Worry would be laced in your irises, your pretty face pale, shoulders stiff.
So he spared himself from looking at you, so he wouldn’t have to see the pain in your eyes.
So he wouldn’t have to think about what would happen when he became King, the questions that would arise, the uncertainty that you would feel.
Jimin’s hand was still wrapped around yours, and you glanced up at him as he gave it a squeeze, watching as a single tear rolled down his flushed cheeks.
Namjoon spoke of the King with nothing but proud words, words used for a great King who had served his Kingdom well.
Flowers were put upon his casket, words whispered from each of the advisors, the whole Kingdom in silent prayer.
The last words Namjoon uttered seemed to lift the mood just a little bit, but only send Jin’s head spinning.
“…Prince Seokjin’s coronation will be next week.”
****
The overall mood in the Kingdom shifted gradually over the next week. Tears turned to laughter, and sorrow to excitement.
The Prince’s Coronation.
Suddenly preparations were being made for his crowning, the hum of the palace had returned, and everyone seemed to be working harder.
You wondered how the Queen was doing, your heart cracking ever so slightly at the thought of the way her eyes crinkled when she looked at her late husband, the way their youthful banter was still so fresh.
They were most certainly in love.
Thinking of this made you think of Jin, so you used your work to distract yourself.
Fill your mind with names of herbs and overtime work, and you could forget the numbness in your chest that had started to settle like gritty sand at the bottom of a pond.
Your relationship with Jin was unestablished, your time together was always brief, your feelings rushed, hearts pounding, hands laced together.
You knew it wouldn’t last forever, but you thought maybe you’d have a little longer.
It was selfish.
Jin couldn’t be a young, carefree Prince forever. You knew he would be King someday, and his duties to rule the country would come first.
You just wished it hadn’t come so soon.
It had always been in the back of your mind, a buzz that gnawed at the bottom of your skull that reminded you that these precious moments couldn’t last forever, and that you’d have to forget about the Prince—the soon-to-be King—forever.
Maybe it was stupid to even try, maybe you shouldn’t have even kissed him, forgiven him that night when he was bloodied and bruised, his heart worn on his sleeve.
But deep down, you knew it would’ve hurt you even more to not press your lips to his, to hear his whispered confession, to bear your heart for him and listen to his worries.
Two people who found themselves in a hopeless love, two people who would never be able to truly be together, that’s what you were.
He was Royalty, and you were a peasant.
You were strong, and you would do what you had to do to support the Kingdom, to do your job you worked so hard to get. To keep going for Mother and Minjun.
It would be better if you didn’t see him again, it would be better to just cherish the moments you shared with him, lock them up in a small corner of your heart, and just move on.
But moving on was hard when the man you loved held so much of your heart.
You smiled as you walked past a trio of nurses, your boots squeaking on the marble floors as you made your way to the storage room, box of herbs balanced in your arms.
Reality was absolutely crushing.
You snapped out of your thoughts as you walked through the courtyard, suddenly feeling a presence behind you.
Before you had a chance to turn, you felt the tall figure brush your side, their hand lingering just for a single beat over your apron pocket.
You stopped in your tracks as you watched the figure walk past you briskly, weaving between the other palace workers.
Namjoon.
He didn’t turn around as he walked, but what he did was clear, and you felt your heart leap in your throat.
Balancing the box of herbs in one arm, your hand flew to your pocket, a small lump of parchment now folded in the material.
****
The moonlight was nearly blinding as you worked, carefully funnelling dried herbs into glass bottles, restocking materials.
You had offered to work overtime, heart thumping faster as each of your coworkers headed in for the night. It felt like the paper was burning a hole through the fabric of your apron and through to your thigh.
You heard the last herbalist in the room start to pack up, stacking the last of the restocked bottles of herbs onto their place on the shelf.
The bandit problem was still rampant in the villages, and guard units were sent into the targeted villages to control, meaning many men had come back injured, muscles sore and skin bruised and bloodied.
You had gotten updates over the past week from Jungkook, who had assured you that the guards were doing all they could, trying to prevent innocent deaths of the people.
You had offered much advice to Jungkook, you knew many of the back routes or abandoned houses that littered the countryside, due to the fact that you had traveled with father to many of your neighbouring villages using back routes on his journeys to provide medical aid to people in those villages.
You had proven to be a powerful asset, as many of the guards had no idea there were so many secret passages over hills and through thick grasses.
“Bye, Y/N!” She called, poking her head into the aisle where you worked, “I’ll see you at the coronation tomorrow!” She flashed you a toothy grin.
You plastered a smile and nodded at her, stomach twisting. It had already been a week since the King’s passing.
You waited until she closed the door to let your hand fly to your pocket, blinking down at the small folded parchment.
Your heart pounded at your ribcage as you unfolded the note, fingers trembling slightly as you read the hastily scribbled words.
Meet me in the greenhouse at midnight.
- Jin.
Your lips parted, the simple request twisting knots in your stomach.
You slipped on your overcoat, wrapping the thin material around your dress, the cool night air biting the skin at your legs as you hurried through the courtyard.
No one was out tonight, the moonlight your only company as you briskly walked down the lonely dirt path.
The night was quiet, only the faint sound of nocturnal insects humming between the blades of grass grazing your ankles, and a single owl hooting its mellow tune.
You entered the greenhouse, closing the door softly behind you.
It seemed as if all the flora were sleeping at night, their colours muted underneath the glass, white light from the moon only bringing out their muted undertones.
For a moment you wondered if you should turn back, save yourself the pain of seeing him.
The only reason he would want to meet you would be to say goodbye, and you didn’t know if you could have your heart broken for a second time.
After all, he would be King tomorrow, and your time together would fade away softly.
Jin wasn’t by the entrance, and it dawned on you that of course he wouldn’t be.
He would be at the first place you met.
You walked through the aisles of plants, boots softly padding on the hard floor, sunset orange flower burning your mind.
And there he was, back turned towards the outer window just beside the Calendula, was Jin.
Although you couldn’t see his face, you knew he was deep in thought. His shoulders were slump, his hair tousled, arms hanging limply at his sides in what seemed like defeat.
You stepped from around the corner, the moon nearly blinding as it centred in the window just in front of Jin.
He suddenly sighed, “I didn’t know if you’d come.”
His voice was hoarse and groggy, as if he hadn’t spoken the whole day.
A weak smile tugged at your lips as you looked at his back, “I didn’t really have a choice, did I?”
At that, he turned around, his front dark against the backlight of the moon. Your eyes traced his face. Even in the darkness, you could see the bags under his eyes, the anxiety in his irises.
He looked around slowly, anywhere but at you, “I’ve never been in here at night before.”
You let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding in, “Me neither.”
His eyes suddenly landed on yours. They were dark, thoughtful, “It’s so quiet. So isolated and far away.” His voice lowered, “So far away from everything out there.”
You stepped closer, “You can’t hide forever, Jin.”
He looked at you slowly, “My father would never forgive me if I did.”
You nodded, “Your coronation is tomorrow.”
“Don’t remind me.”
You clenched your jaw, “Why did you ask me to meet you?”
Jin pressed his back against the window, “I needed to see you.”
You swallowed, “You know we can’t do this—this, whatever it is.”
Jin didn’t seem surprised at your words, he just gave a small, weak smile, “Do you know what I’m most afraid of when I become King?”
Your eyes flicked up, confusion laced in your expression.
He tilted his head, “I’m afraid I’ll lose myself.”
Your eyes widened. His features had shifted, his eyes were intense, his lips were pulled together, his shoulders slumped.
It was as if he had spent the whole week thinking about this conversation.
He swallowed, “King Seokjin is who I will become tomorrow. I was born into royalty, I was forced into meetings and lessons, and I ran away.” He stepped closer to you, “When I met you, you saw me for me, you saw sides of me who I had never shown anyone else.”
He clenched his fists, “This world I grew up in never allowed me to see what was really important. It separated me from what I wanted to do in life, it skewed my perspective and made me so so terrified of what would happen when I was all alone on the throne.”
You shook your head, “But Jin, you don’t have to be a perfect King. There’s a fire in you that I saw that one night. You want to be good for the people, you want to help.” You shook your head, “That’s all you can do.”
He smiled suddenly, the action catching you off guard, “You’re always so reassuring, so sure of yourself with your values and morals.” He looked up, “Hell, I think Jungkook’s just about ready to give you a spot on the royal guard for all the help you’ve given them on the bandit issue.”
You looked away, “I know what it’s like to have nothing.”
Suddenly he was in front of you, his dark chocolate eyes on yours, “I—I know you think we have to say goodbye, Y/N.”
His words made your heart clench, the thought of leaving him made you feel a crack begin to form in the deepest, tenderest part of you.
His fingers brushed yours, a shiver sparking up your arm.
Jin made you feel so safe, so at ease. He made you feel like you mattered, that you were valued in a world where everything had been ripped from you.
And now he would be too.
He breathed out, “But I can’t do this without you.”
Your stomach dropped, the world paused and the moon shone around him in a glittering halo.
Your voice was only above a whisper, “But I’m a peasant, I’m a broken girl with nothing.”
And then the way he looked at you reminded you of the first day you met, his eyes bright, honey skin and rose petal lips.
His lips quirked up.
Jin felt something inside him crack open, the most obvious realization hitting him right in the middle of his chest.
He gazed at you for a moment, his eyes tracing over your features that he saw in a whole new light, looking at the girl he had fallen in love with so many months ago staring back at him with tears in her eyes.
You were broken but beautiful, strong and kind.
You were the changing of seasons and fresh breath of summer air.
“You are my safety and my comfort, you are the fire in my heart, and the light in my soul.” He spoke with his heart bared, he spoke with raw emotion packed between the words.
Jin put you at ease, he made you feel valued, he had filled in the parts of you that had been ripped away by the cruelty of the world.
You smiled, not only with your mouth but with your heart, with the words that you should’ve uttered a long time ago, “I love you, Jin.”
You were a peasant with an unforgiving past, broken, but learning to mend.
He was a Prince with a wish to be understood, scared, but willing to learn.
Together you had filled in the cracks, you smashed your hearts to pieces and mended the fragments back together with a hold stronger than ever before.
It was scary, it was unsure, it was messy and giddy and like dancing on clouds high up in the air.
His fingers laced with yours, his dark eyes solely on you, hearts beating as one.
He smiled, words dripping with tenderness, love, honey.
“So stay with me.”
