Queen’s Park Swizzle !

Mojito' Alter Ego or 'Dark Twin'

2 oz. aged rum

0.75 oz. lime juice

0.75 oz. demerara syrup

8-10 mint leaves

Add mint leaves to a tall glass.

Add simple syrup and gently muddle mint into the syrup.

Add crushed ice two-thirds or so full and agitate (either swizzle back and forth with a swizzle stick or a bar spoon, or else just stir) until the glass begins to frost.

Add crushed ice to fill and decorate the top with two to three dashes of Angostura Bitters.

Garnish with a mint sprig and serve with a straw.

Oh, her dads would kill her when they found out about this, but… Mira took a deep breath and then knocked her knuckles against the door.

Admittedly, it had been a few years since she'd seen Auntie Jaheira. It wasn't on purpose, of course, but she was twenty now, and had been very busy with her education. Following on from her magical school, Mira had surprised near enough everyone it seemed by moving to a religious school and starting her training as a cleric. Learning to draw from the power of the Gods and the weave in order to allow healing magic to flourish through her had been incredible.

She was still an incredibly competent and natural sorcerer. The weave flowed through her with as much power as her icy breath. Learning to be a follower of Bahamut had been astonishing in many ways - first of all being surrounded by so many dragonborn! She had never expected it, how amazing it felt to see so many of her own kind…

And now, here she was. Her father's words about not being an adventurer thrumming in her head, but, well… there was another option. A way to use her abilities for the greater good. A way to find the adventure she so desperately craved, but… far more honourable, right? No way her dads could be mad about this.
