The gist: at the start of SD's serialisation, Mito was intended to be the 5th member who joins the team, and Mitsui's role in the story was to simply be a delinquent. But then Inoue had a change of heart as he became attached to Mitsui as a character so put him on the team instead.

This was shared by Inoue once on a radio show (called "Come on FUNKY Lips". Oh Japan, you funny) and it's also mentioned in the book 漫画がはじまる where he and noted poet and writer Ito Hiromi chat all things Slam Dunk. (BTW seems like she did an amazing job with the book, being a super SD fan herself.)

The article then goes on to mull over how a "Mito as the 5th member" scenario would've been changed the team and story dynamics. This is so interesting and a lot of scenes/moments in the manga make a ton of sense now, since it's often suggested that Yohei was getting quite drawn into the world of basketball (eg. him attempting a 3-pointer when he was back at the gym alone, how he reacted to Mitsui picking a fight with the club, etc.)

Shock, because I just really don't like the direction the story would have gone in with two bball rookies on the team. Part of what made SD so special was that it was this one dude, this crazy one-man circus called Sakuragi, upending the order in high school bball and growing as a person and a player. If there were two rookies on the team, it would've taken the shine away a bit I think. 

And relief, because the Mito that ultimately appeared in SD is the coolest and best version of all - someone who gets the MC and is steadfastly loyal and supportive from the sidelines, yet pokes fun at him to keep him grounded. There's so much to love about that.

Can we please have more info and lore for Trigun/Nausicaä AU? Am very interested with the story and the characters in this world setting.

Well good evening Anon I would LOVE to talk more about this AU.

I don’t want to reveal too much since I’m very much still working out a lot of lore and ideas, but I can give a summary of some of the ideas and characters. I have a LOT of little plot bunnies and comic ideas for this AU; they just take me a hot minute lol. And I’m not much of a writer so drawing it is!

So like. The ideas I had for this AU were entirely born from a world building standpoint; Gunsmoke and the Toxic Jungle are like. On the same spectrum of world building but on opposite ends, if that makes sense (harsh potentially toxic environment, post-apocalyptic human society, there’s massive fucking bug-adjacent things, etc). And I love world building and environmental storytelling so yeah let’s put these characters into this similar but also different setting.

Meryl is Nausicaä. She’s always trying to help people and understand toxic ecosystem. She tries to investigate the nature of the Toxic Jungle and the Insects (Zazie finds this VERY interesting).

Kuroneko is the fox-squirrel.

Vash is…a being of the toxic jungle somehow. I’m still workshopping how exactly this will is gonna play out. Vash has a whole inner conflict about how the Toxic Jungle is hurting people, but he also feels bad for the plants (vegetation plants AND capital P-Plants) and insects and stuff; he’s drawn to the fact that Meryl is trying to find a solution to this.

Wolfwood is the guy from Pejite. Hint hint betrayal later.

Milly is one of Meryl’s best friends from the Valley of the Wind.

Livio is Mito. Constantly worries about Meryl going into the Toxic Jungle.

Zazie: insects, hivemind, the works.

Chronica is Princess Kushana, but she may or may not exactly be calling all the shots. Chapel and Conrad run things over in Pejite.

Knives is here too. He’s pulling some strings and organizing conflicts for his ultimate goal: eradicating humanity. Vash is very much not cool with this.

The Plants are underground purifying the earth.

Plot wise: most of the story beats stay similar, with some added themes from Trigun sprinkled in. The big ol fire dudes in the movie: they’re a proxy for nukes yes, but also a warning about the mindset that one constantly needs to be preparing for war by acclimating bigger and more destructive weapons. And that doing so paired with the willingness to use those weapons pages the way for someone to shut out the suffering of others (be that animal, plant, etc). The fire dudes are even vaguely human shaped, but thier eyes are vacant and soulless, and that shows how beings can spiral down that route if they aren’t careful.

Vash and Knives both come from the bones of these guys, so they’re an offshoot of both the destructive capabilities of humanity (which manifests as those fire dudes) AND Toxic Jungle (which exists to heal the Earth from that trauma). Fun internal conflicts that they both react to in very normal ways 🙃.

Hating on Ending D will get you nowhere.

Don’t underestimate it.

One thing that pisses me off about this stupid fandom were the reactions of the killugon fans once they heard about Ending D.

Nah cuz let’s talk about it.

These ppl are seriously acting delulu rn.

They weren’t too much before but now it’s just ridiculous.

I’m starting to see a reaction pattern here through this plausible ending:

1) Some are saying that Togashi said this as a joke therefore, he’s just fucking with us and hasn’t actually revealed anything.

2) Togashi will never use this ending because he scrapped it.

3) Togashi said that his personal favorite ending was Ending C but he said that the majority of the fans will hate it. So it doesn’t mean that he’s super ecstatic by Ending D.

4) This ending is way too shonen and cliché for him to actually use. Since it’s so basic, it doesn’t scream his style. Therefore, even if the ending happened, it wouldn’t feel real.

5) The fans who like this ending are problematic and homophobic.

I’m so sick of hearing these same things come out of their mouths so let me just clearly explain why this is all ridiculous:

1) Why would Togashi ever joke about something like his plausible passing and the work he’s been working so hard for which started in 1998?? The dude has never once joked around with the questions he received about hxh. He’s also been the type to spoil some people through interview questions too so if we follow your logic, that would mean he would’ve also lied about the fact that Kurapika and all the phantom troupe members would die.

2) We shouldn’t act so hasty when it comes to this ending just because it got scrapped. Togashi did say that he took it out from the endings he was planning on using but it doesn’t change the fact that he: a) actually took his time out of the day to think about the idea in the past and b) said that he’ll use it if his time runs out and if he can’t come up with a greater ending better than the three ones he already got.

3) Yes, it’s true. Out of the three ones we got, Togashi’s favorite ending was the third one, Ending C. So what? He said he kept it around simply because it was his favorite.

That also means he’s not so into Ending A and Ending B. An author doesn’t have to specifically use their favourite ending to end their series. They have to think about what the audience and what the majority of the reactions would be like to the ending they came up with. So since he estimated that only 10% of the fandom will like Ending C and 90% of it will hate it, there’s a very high chance he won’t even attempt at using it for the ending. Also, we have no idea what the ending is about.

4) The ending may sound basic and very shonen-like but so was Yu Yu Hakusho’s ending. Or rather the ending of the main character Yusuke. If you don’t happen to know, Yu Yu Hakusho was Togashi’s old work and in it, the main character Yusuke comes back from his adventures to marry a girl named Keiko, his childhood friend.

5) Did you ever stop to think that maybe some people just didn’t like killugon? Shocking, I know. We just plainly don’t like it. It doesn’t make the most of us homophobic or problematic in the least, stop trying to shove that dumb idea onto other killugon fans’ throats. Some of us are just not into yaoi and have tried to get into it but just don’t see the appeal (i’m personally more of a hetero and yuri fan) of it. Also, some of us would be delighted to see more female characters taking more major roles in hxh. It would be refreshing to see since the main cast is all filled with males while the females usually take minor roles like mothers, instructors, teachers, supporters for some male characters, (ex: Mito, Kikyo, Abe, Noko, Palm, Bisky, Coco Loo, Coco from Heavens Arena, Melody, Alluka) or are just in the background most of the time (ex: Canary, Amane, Tsubone, Shizuku, Machi) (wow these almost sounds like SHONEN ROLES FOR WOMEN).

DPR Ian is a comedic genius simply for the fact that like. ok mr insanity is this joker/harley quinn type. got it. great happy aesthetics, unsettling smile, having fun causing chaos and wrecking things (THAT HE SET UP) and then like. just dragging this faceless green dude around. ok. got it. that's his shtick that's what he does.

and then mito, who we've seen have some pretty serious moments in MVs up until now, but in like a more emotional kind of way, is all of a sudden like. dressed like a cowboy out of a sci-fi western and every time he appears in this mv mr insanity just has this little cartoon "uh-oh!" moment and a delayed reaction while everything goes to shit and it brings me joy because why do you give the "oh we're fucked" look while ROBBING A BANK... and then immediately go shooting the only entity that could hurt you EVEN THOUGH he just took even MORE power from one of the objects in that bank!??!

LIKE!?!? ALL OF A SUDDEN THE MV GOES HARD AND FOR A SPLIT SECOND MR INSANITY LOOKS PETRIFIED AND THEN HES LIKE :D NO ACTUALLY. I LIKE THIS. (which is hilarious considering not even 5 seconds later he and his faceless bank robbing husband dip like??)

This show was so dumb at times, but fairs this was a good finale. Only took 3 months, but everyone finally stopped being idiots and started communicating. Ruka coming to save Mito from the alter at the last second was cliche as hell, but I’ll allow it lol. Finale took this from like a 4 to a solid 6.

“Mito I love you and I’ll continue to love you” We deserved ALL the kisses we got today. Mito looked absolutely stunning with her hair finally free and Ruka couldn’t keep his hands off her. Even the vampire leader had to tell them to stop flirting lmao.

Speaking of which, I think he let Ren dad off way too easily but whatever. I guess in the end no one died or anything so getting publicly humiliated and losing control over his son is probably a fitting end.

Ren may have been dumb down the stretch, but there was a point where he was the only sensible person in the story. You’ll be missed.. love how he stole a kiss off Mito there at the end 😂. I wish him nothing but the best going forward, great dude.

Making out in school now too??!! Damn Ruka getting bold as hell lol. We need a second season of this now that we’re getting a new character introduced.. not sure if the manga ongoing but I might end up reading it. Story is really a weird addiction.. will kinda miss it

Chapter 5: Making My Mark

"Watch and learn," I say with a grin, not waiting for any response from the guys or anyone else. Without hesitation, I dribble the ball from the entrance and immediately pull off a fast break. The Shohoku team members are too stunned to react in time, and within seconds, I’m dashing and dancing around them. The ball had been hurtling toward a random bystander, but in a flash, that bystander—me—was zigzagging her way through the court.

First, I slide past Miyagi with a quick cut to the left, then Kogure as I use a behind-the-back dribble to evade him. And then there’s Mitsui, without recognize him at the time. He tries to block me, but I step around him, my quick footwork making it impossible for him to catch up. They’re all too stunned to do much else, watching as I flow across the court.

Now comes the real challenge: Rukawa and Sakuragi. I see the height difference between us, and I know they’re likely going to try to stop me. Rukawa moves first, but I fake left, then go right. It’s too fast for him to adjust, and by the time he turns around, I’m already past him. Sakuragi, presumably the tallest player on the court, attempts to move into position for a block, but I’m already too quick. I sidestep him with a smooth spin and finish with a lay-up — *swoosh* — easy.

After that stunt, I felt a rush of satisfaction. My grand entrance was a success.

I scan the court for familiar faces—Coach Anzai, Takenori, and Ayako, who’s watching me intently. After spotting them, I walk over to introduce myself.

"Pardon my tardiness. I got lost until the four gentlemen guided me here," I say, gesturing at the four guys still standing by the entrance. "Won’t happen again, gentlemen," I add, giving my cousin a formal nod. "…And to you too, Mademoiselle, feel free to call me Lin," I say to Ayako with a wink, savoring the playful tone.

From the corner of my eye, I notice a shift in the air. The first guy I passed—Ryota Miyagi—looks a little... jealous? I can almost hear the thoughts running through his mind. Wait, does he think I’m hitting on a woman? Or does he think I’m a dude? I turn around, meeting his gaze, and that’s when he realizes his mistake.

“Wait, you’re a girl?” he blurts, clearly startled.

I smile and turn back toward Takenori and Coach Anzai. "Isn't it about time for a proper introduction so we don’t get any more… misunderstandings?"

Takenori sighs, clearly used to the antics of his team, and Coach Anzai chuckles softly. The two of them share a knowing look before Takenori gathers the team’s attention.

“Alright, listen up, everyone,” Takenori begins, his voice commanding the room. "This is Lin Akagi. She’s a point guard for the women’s varsity basketball team in the US and is slated to take over as the captain of her team once she starts her final year of high school, after summer break ends.”

The team listens intently as Takenori continues, “She volunteered to help us this summer as the assistant coach. Her knowledge and experience, especially her American training and playing style, will be invaluable to us as we prepare for nationals. We need all the assistance we can get to maximize our chances of winning.”

I don’t add anything to the introduction. Instead, I bow slightly, my classic American-style smile tempered by the seriousness of the moment. As I straighten up, Coach Anzai adds his own thoughts.

"Like Mitsui, Miss Lin was a district MVP for her middle school, when she still played in Japan. Her continued involvement in basketball in the US is a testament to her dedication. I look forward to seeing her methods and urge all of you to be open-minded.”

As the room settles, I glance toward Mito back at the door and give him a wink. Now you know, Mito. ;)

A few murmurs fill the room, but it’s the reactions from two players that stand out. First, there’s Sakuragi.

“Lin...san...are you Gori’s sister?” Sakuragi asks, his face full of confusion.

“Gori?” I blink, genuinely puzzled. "What’s that?"

“If you’re Gori’s and Haruko-san’s sister, that means I’ll call you Akagi-neesan,” he declares with a big grin, clearly proud of his deduction.

I blink again, and before I can respond, Ayako whispers in my ear, “Sakuragi has feelings for your cousin, Haruko.”

Oh. Oh! I think to myself, a realization hitting me. So, he’s trying to get on my good side to get welcomed as a brother-in-law? A mischievous grin forms on my face. Very well, we’ll play this game.

"Whatever makes you happy... Hana-chan!" I say, using a casual, nonchalant tone, giving him a sweet smile. "Good thing you're so cute!" followed by a teasing wink.

The reaction is instantaneous. Sakuragi’s face turns bright red, and the entire room bursts into laughter. Mito, Noma, Ohkusu, and Takamiya all crack up, and even Coach Anzai chuckles. The laughter spreads, with Sakuragi trying his best to hide his embarrassment.

I grin, satisfied with the chaos I’ve caused. After a few more moments of laughter, I lean toward Ayako and whisper, "This will be an interesting summer. I'm glad I got here when I did and not a day later!"

Ayako smiles warmly. "It’s going to be fun," she agrees, clearly enjoying the lighthearted moment.

Takenori sighs, shaking his head. "Bunch of idiots..." he mutters, though I can see the affection behind his words. Whatever, you know you love me, Taka-nii.

Coach Anzai chuckles deeply, his hearty laugh filling the room. "Oh ho ho ho ho," he booms, thoroughly entertained by the scene.

And then there’s Mitsui, who stands quietly off to the side, his expression unreadable. But in his eyes, I can see that he’s still processing everything. The shock of seeing me, the unexpected reunion—it’s all a lot to take in. He remains silent, but I can sense that this is a major turning point for both of us.

You and Gon shared the same biology class and were in the midst of taking your final test for the class. You both hoped the last minute cram sessions and extra help from Leorio would pay off.

You were hoping that after the test you and Gon could walk to his house and eat Mito’s amazing cooking, and hopefully have a chat with his grandma.

While you were daydreaming about Mito’s cooking, you heard something to the side of you,

“Psst”

You looked over and saw it was Gon who was trying to get your attention. You slowly turned your head over and gave him a ‘what do you want from me??’ look.

He sheepishly looked at you while signaling to your paper, trying to see your progress. The paper was pretty much filled besides a few circled questions you had to look back on.

You glanced at his paper and saw that practically only 50% of it was filled which made you cringe and slowly turn your face to him with a raised eyebrow, sending him a ‘what the heck dude’ glance.

You decided to just focus on your own paper to finish up the few questions you had to fill in. While finishing up the last question, you looked over at the clock and saw only 4 minutes were left.

You looked over to Gon and saw he was basically 70% complete with his test and he had an insane amount of steam coming from his ears which made you mentally laugh.

The 4 minutes went by fast and Gon practically guessed on all of the other questions. Your teacher announced that the scores would show up later today which was kind of nerve-racking for you and Gon.

You packed up your things and were getting ready to leave when a certain green-haired boy tapped your shoulder.

“Y/N are you ready to come over? Killua won’t be coming today so it will be just you and me!” He exclaimed with a big smile.

“Yeah, of course, after this test I just need to relax,” You responded.

He hugged you and then proceeded to walk with you towards his house, talking about anything and everything there was to talk about. His upbeat attitude was exactly what you needed to contrast your simple personality, making him a great friend for you and Killua to have.

When you reached his house, Mito greeted you both and had a delicious meal prepared for you both in which you both did not hesitate to finish after that stressful test.

Once you both finished, you and Gon went to his room and decided to check your scores, you closed your eyes and took a breath in before releasing and opening your eyes to see a 93/100 as your score which had you mostly proud of yourself, but you felt that maybe you could have done better.

“I got a 93, what did you get?”

“I got an 86!”

To be honest, you were shocked considering over 50% of his answers were probably just guesses. You took a mental note that Gon’s guessing skills were normally spot on. Your trail of thought was interrupted by Gon saying,

“C’mon let’s watch this new movie on my laptop!”

He motioned for you to come over to his bed in which you did, before you knew it he grabbed you close to him basically cuddle-hugging you as he started to play the movie.

With how tired you were from finishing the test, you felt like you were going to just fall asleep right then and there and his body warmth wasn’t helping your tiredness so you just gave in to your sleep.

Gon noticed this and smiled before pausing the movie and joining you, he was still holding on to you and slowly fell asleep as he nuzzled himself closer to you. You both ended up having a nice, warm nap with Mito coming upstairs to take pictures.

- Hsrm. He's a big softie and Mito loves it. "Oh no, please. Cry on my shoulder for as long as you'd like my dear, I'm here for you" 😏.

- Hsrm, but he always drags Mito into it. She just can't say no to those sad (manipulative) puppy eyes. *cut to Mito wearing one half of an "I've been naughty/nice" matching sweater combo, staring into the camera like she's in the office.*

who pays for the meals?

- They take turns. They're both pretty high up the chain of command in their respective clans so I'd imagine money isn't much of an object to either of them.

Who slams the oven door and who plays the trombone?

- Mito plays the trombone because Hsrm, poor thing, is utterly tone deaf. He can keep tempo though!

Who brings home stray animals?

- who else but mother nature himself. Mito's a clean freak and it drives her up the WALL. She comes home to squirrels with the zoomies destroying her seal paper and... well. Nobody talks about what happened that day.

Who leaves the bathroom door open?

Hsrm, I suppose? Dude has no shame, lol.

Who tells the 'dad jokes'

Dadrama Senjudad. His moniker should've been "dad of shinobi." He came out of the womb, looked Butsuma straight in the eye and said, "hello father, I'm dad." That's how strong his dad energy is.

Who wants kids more?

- Mito, surprisingly. I think Hsrm wants kids a lot, deep down, but if we're talking canon universe I think Hsrm is deathly afraid of being a bad father. And, especially pre-Konoha, doesn't want to potentially lose his child like he lost his brothers.

Who travels more?

-Mito. She's a very good diplomat and gets sent on missions all over.

Who spends more cash?

Mito has an appreciation for the finer things in life, but Hsrm has a literal gambling addiction. So Hsrm i think, lol.

Who buys the things in infomercials?

- Hsrm: *puppy eyes* "what do you MEAN we don't need a tiddy bear?!?" (Look it up y'all, its a real thing and it's hilarious).

Who draws in the dust on their cars?

Let's pretend there are cars in the narutoverse- Mito probably. She doodles seal formulas on every surface within reach, 24/7.

Who starts the snowball fights?

Hashirama, every time.

And he regrets it, every time. *cut to hsrm screaming whilst getting snow shoved down the front of his pants*

Who throws away the directions to things?

"It's about the journey, Mito-chan!" Hsrm rasps through Mito's chokehold, as they aimlessly wander Sand country after he threw out the map to Sunagakure.

Who puts up holiday decor?

- Both of them. Mito sneaks in mistletoes everywhere and Hsrm is #notcomplaining.

Who is more likely to forget to bathe?

- I think hygiene is pretty important to both of them so this is unlikely, but maybe Hsrm as he's often busy being ninja president (i.e. falling asleep at his desk and drooling all over the paperwork).

Who gets more obsessed about things?

- Mito. She's a bit of a perfectionist and hyperfixates a lot, and this bleeds into almost everything she does. It's a seal master thing.

Who sings in the shower more often?

- Hsrm, to everyone's deep misfortune. As mentioned before.... baby's totally tone deaf. He is scaring the birds (and Mito) away with his noise pollution.

When Chrollo started to read he was just a child (he learned it from a old man from Meteor city) and the only types of books that he read was adventure because while he read this type of books he detached from reality completely and he liked the that feeling because it's make him forget about all of the shit that happened around him. He rarely found adventure books in Meteor city so he always stole them from librarys. He started to read others type of books when the man that teach him to read get beaten until death from some dudes from Meteor city

Shizuku is very intelligent but didn't show it that much.She was very careful with everything and she was paying attention to the smallest things when she was a kid but while she grow up and see how cruel the world is she started to pay less attention to everything that she has around and that's make her to forget a lots of things and person because she doesn't pay attention to them because she doesn't wants to get hurt.

If something will happen to Alluka and she will die, Killua will get back to zoldyck's maison and will become the next head of zoldyck, he will become like his father but the only difference between Killua and his father is that Killua will be forced to marry someone from another strong family with a lot of influence and he will never love and want his wife or children in his life while his father married the woman he loved.

Mito misses Gon a lot, she always thinks about him and always hope that he is alright, she cried a lot for Gon when he didn't sent letters to her but when Gon come home with Killua, Mito was less worried about Gon being hurt because she was thinking that Killua will protect Gon no matter what happens but she was wrong because keep hurting himself and she doesn't know that.

Feitan and Phinks become a little bit distanceted after Shalnark's death because Shalnark was the one that try to get Feitan and Phinks together after they have an argument and Shalnark was the one who always come with plans to get them out from trouble, Shalnark was the one who always get them together to go somewhere or to made something (not related to stealing or to killing or to something like this)

Pairing: Sokka x Reader

Y/N had been studying for the last week, working hard to end the semester strong. Her best friend, Sokka, had come over to study for their final exams together, and they worked in silence for a couple hours. There was the occasional joke and banter, but for the most part, they were completely focused on their studies.

It had been a long time, and Y/N was just so tired. It was some time in the middle of the night, and outside, the sky was dark. Sighing, she kept reading, but the words seemed to blur together.

Mito- Her eyes closed on their own, eyelids heavy, but she forced them to open.

Mitochondria is the powerho- She slumped onto her textbook.

"Y/N, wake up." Sokka was rapidly hitting her arm. She had fallen asleep. She groaned and lifted her head back up. Yawning, she continued reading from where she left off.

The both of them kept drifting in and out of sleep. She could hardly keep her eyes open. Ugh, what time is it? She reached for Sokka's phone to check. Wait wha-

"Am- am I your lockscreen?" She felt fully awake when she saw her face on his phone lockscreen, a blush creeping onto her face. The picture was from a vacation that they went on last year, and she had asked Sokka to take a photo of her and send it to her. He kept it on his phone? And he made it his lockscreen?

It lit up the room, but it quickly became dark again as Sokka instantly reached to shut his phone off when she commented on it.

"You weren’t supposed to see that." He smiled sheepishly, with a brilliant shade of red all over his face. His body tensed and he got a bit shy, which made Y/N burst into laughter at the change of character.

"You dork," she laughed, and he laughed nervously in return. She went to settings, wallpaper, and quickly changed her own lockscreen to a picture of Sokka. Ironically, she picked one that was from the same vacation. Sokka was making a silly face, and it made Y/N smile whenever she looked at it. "Now we match." She smiled, and Sokka relaxed, putting on a grin.

"I'm so in love with you."

"Me- me too."

They were supposed to be studying, but soon enough, that was the last thing on their minds.

Something controversial though…

Mito deserved to have a bigger role. We know she had a hand in saving Konoha by dealing Kurama inside of herself, but she’s almost never mentioned and treated like a side character to Hashirama, Madara and even Tobirama which I think is a crime because clearly she was talented and a great shinobi.

Shipping wise, I wish we could have seen Mito actually talk about Hashirama and why she fell in love with him. Why she looked at this man and decided he was the one. We know he’s a rather nice guy but there has to be more to it than that.

Also probably super controversial

I don’t really like any of the popular founder ships :) Madara/Hashirama isn’t as interesting as fandom makes it seem and just comes off as two dudes obsessed with each other in completely different ways with no idea how to communicate

Tobirama/Madara has no interesting values and they would kill each other within a day

Tobirama/Izuna is the only one that can be fun because there’s no set feelings other than their clans shared hatred so there’s something to play with there, but even then I only do them when it connects to Kakashi cuz I’m a bias b**** XD

Nah but yeah I think that even ignoring their wives in canon and all, I feel like realistically it would be expected of them to marry, have a wife, children, even if they weren’t into women altogether. I do think that Madara and Tobirama would take a lover on the side though if we think about this scenario. I think Hashirama would have a pretty sad life where he’d repress everything tbh. But that’s not the point of the ask. I thought about it a lot though. But well it is fiction, I do hope the ninja world is open, I know I want it to be, so anything can happen woosh woosh!!!

Ok but I do think there would be some arranged marriage bullshit going on so let me just say this : He’d still be very sweet to his spouse. I think he’d come to like them, even love them. (Unless they were a very horrible person in general) I think he’d be very respectful and try his best to be nice to them. Something good has to come from an arrangement like that in his mind and if he’s to spend the rest of his life with someone he wants to build something good. A bit like his village. He’d try to make it feel lively and loving even if it didn’t start this way.

Now let’s imagine a scenario where he is able to actually choose his partner. And let’s also ignore Mito who’s going to be marrying me because I said so and this is my blog.

Probably the best boyfriend out of them all I’ll be honest. Does that surprise anyone? No, let’s be real. He is nice and dedicated. He is loyal too. I think he’d be a goofy kind of lover that would try to make his s/o smile and feel at home everywhere. I think he’s got it in him. He also remembers everything, every dates, every little things they like. I swear.

Nah but like I said he’d be so dedicated to his S/O, so sweet, it’s almost sickening, like tooth rotting kind of sickening. LIKE YOU’D GET CAVITIES. If he’s dating someone he’d want it to be something that lasts forever, would want to start a family...etc. He’d be in for the long run. So do not hurt him

I’ll be honest I do think he’d be quite a busy person so he’d try and make up for it, he doesn’t really know how, so sometimes it would just look like he’s ignoring this absence. Like he’d try and smile and make them laugh, but they haven’t heard from him for a long time so it would look a bit bad? Maybe? Depends on his s/o. He’s a bit awkward and he can be a bit of a thickhead sometimes too, he wouldn’t realise he’s doing it. He tries.

Ok, I’m about to contradict myself here, but he’s not that stupid and I think he’d actually pick up on any of his s/o’s moods pretty quickly though. Like, he would need a whole minute but he’d pick up on it. He’d be very quick to react to those. If they’re happy, he’ll try and keep them there, if they’re sad he’ll try to cheer them up, you name it. He’s very very committed.

I also think that he’d apologise if he was the wrong during an argument but since he’d want his s/o to be their best or something he’d also stand his ground pretty easily if they were. It doesn’t happen often though. I feel like most arguments would start because of his fights and his job overall. But he has his duty and goal that he needs to keep and take care off so that would be where he stands. He can understand why that would worry his s/o though. He’d try and be reassuring. 

He is actually pretty calm and cool headed, so, his attitude, I’d say it’s sort of grounding for any s/o he has. 

He would also definitely brings lots of gifts and love every single mark of affection he gets.

I think he wouldn’t necessarily expect his s/o to do the same but a lot of encouragement and dedication on their part would definitely mean a lot. I don’t think he could keep a relationship that long if they weren’t at least a bit like that.

Tobirama relationship HCs (SFW)

In an arranged marriage, let me just say this, he would anything in mechanical way. Provide for the household? check. Babies? Check. His job would always come first and he wouldn’t have time for anything else, even if his spouse tried to get closer. He would be married for his clan and his village. Nothing else. Almost like a chore. 

Now, what if he got to choose his partner?

Voted most dramatic bitch in a relationship. Seriously would see a lot of things as small betrayals that would get him to give his s/o the silent treatment. It’s not nice. Oh you forgot an important date? You’re not getting a word from him. But also, sometimes he just is like that, you never know. 

He would definitely become a bit softer and open around them though in that situation. He wouldn’t be the warmest alright, but his s/o would be able to see a slight change.

Small attentions all the way, never too much. He’d pay attention to them and actually try and show it but you’d have to squint to see it. He expects them to see how much effort he’s putting in this though (It’s not a lot, he’s busy, but still), think bringing something they like home, letting them talk about their interest, that sort of thing...

His job would still come first. I don’t make the rules. He does.

Nah but I think he’d be the type to take out his anger and hatred out on his s/o and then would just ignore that altogether. Rarely apologises. 

Would also want to start a family. I think it’s important for him.

I think that if he were to start a relationship he’d definitely value lots of things about his partner still. But again he doesn’t show that much. I think, in those rare moments when he allows himself to let loose and be a bit more vulnerable he would tell them.

I think he’d show a lot of things through touch. Not anyone can get his attention when it comes to touch.

I think he’d joke with them too, his humour is not very nice though. He’d have some private silent jokes with an s/o in public. It would translate in a mere smirk on his face though, but they’d know what he’s saying.

This man is tired, I think he’d want an s/o that is calm and understanding. Kind also. That would make him feel at home. 

I feel like he’d trust his s/o a lot though. He’d put so much trust into them, they wouldn’t even realise it I think. I mean they’d certainly know, but not how much. 

I also feel like he’d be in for the long run and he would be devastated if something happened to them or if they betrayed him (for real) I swear it wouldn’t show, but he would be. 

Nah but I’m just going to put it out there but he might get jealous very easily too.

I feel like he’d like to just watch his s/o do their thing when he’s got some time off. Like just silently watch them. It would relax him.
