Mixels Frenzy: The End

And we’ve officially come to the end of the art project; closing my own tribute to this underrated little gem of a franchise that has left a huge impact on my life. All 81 Mixels, drawn, colored, and presented! Overall it has been a swell time revisiting this series, and drawing out all these fun, wacky, and imaginative looking creatures. Getting to talk about all my personal favorite characters, while also finding some new appreciation for some others.

I feel very accomplished working on this project, it allowed me to sharpen up my drawing skills, create my own release schedule, as well as experimenting around with the color pencils set that I got for Christmas. I’ll probably do something like this again for a different series/franchise in the future, but for now, I’m going to move on to some new smaller projects. I’ve been drawing Mixel characters for nearly 3 months and I kinda want to take a break for now. But I’ll certainly get back to it at some point, I might even consider drawing out all the Maxes.

Anyways, Thank you to everyone who has stuck around for this 2+ month long project. I hope you enjoyed this little series as much I did, and that you’ll stay tuned to more of my upcoming art pieces.

Here’s the drawing of the Rokit sause poster that was included on my Andrea Davenport (TGAMM) drawing as an Easter Egg in the background that I drew back in 2021, Rokit is from Mixels based on a Cartoon Network/LEGO series that lasted from 2014-2016, the Rokit sauce is based from the Mixels special episode “Mixel Moon Madness (2015)” while I was drawing Andrea and the background I decided to include some Easter Eggs and I wanted to include a Mixels Easter Egg for fun and chose Rokit because of his sauce and that one moment in the episode where he used the sauce to stop the Nixels from stealing their crater tots, anyways enjoy this old drawing of mine from one of my of biggest obsessions of series during the mid 2010s in Middle School!

Dribbal and Rokit Mix - Known as Houstrust, a mix of Dribbal and Rokit who have a loyalty to loved ones, but have major trust issues to someone they don't trust and use them, he’s used the power of technology and slime in space. He’s loyal, strong-willed, sense, helpful, and serious as he has the power of a lie detector as thanks to Dribbal’s lie detecting and glasses, and Rokit’s technology and brain dome, he is really good, strong to fight and listens to the heart. Two Mixels are combined when they’re feeling sympathy and then empathy about a major trust issue to imposters who disguise themselves as their friends, then work together to defeat them with trust and truth. The Mix is controlled by Dribbal.

MF Day #28: Rokit

Starting off the second year of Mixels with wave 4, which features one of the first tribes that explore outside of the theme of elements, even outside of their own planet!

And out of all the Orbitons, Rokit is probably my personal favorite of the tribe. I really like his soldier-like appearance which is a good fit for this theme. And he contains some of the funniest moments in the special he’s featured in: “Mixel Moon Madness”.
