There is no way Marinette won’t at least try to to revert the miraculous to their original forms. She will figure out a way. I have faith in her. Question is, how will she do it?
Will she
a) use the notes from the grimoire to make the damage repairing potions (like what Gabe did with the peacock) and and use it on the alliance rings in hopes that the potion will count that as damage and change the miraculous back to normal (I look forward to her squeal of joy when it works)...
or...
b) use the her power of creation and its lack of limitations (as established in Pigeon 72) to fix the Miraculi.
And that note, I’m starting to wonder if the conversion into the rings weakened the Kwamis and destroyed any will they had to fight back. If that’s the case, I look forward to Gabriel’s impending and agonizing death.

you know I think I read somewhere, someone said something about how since miraculous ladybug is officially titled "Miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug & Cat Noir", this implies that the show's current events are being recounted as bedtime stories or tales (or something similar) by older Adrienette to their three kids. and this is something that is done in the future. so does that mean that we might see aged-up Marinette and Adrien in their 30s in the show finale (by season 8 I think) similar to the Disney channel show Austin and Ally in their show finale? if that does happen, I would be so shocked but also would not be surprised because the title strongly implies this. Astruc may have carefully thought about this, you never know..

Talking about Season Six Reveal I think it is at least Half Going to Happen
Major spoilers ahead only proceed if you have seen the finale or do not care about spoilers
So Marinette is going to want to tell Adrien about his father being Hawkmoth and him sacrificing himself and everything. She is going to struggle over telling him this and how to tell him it is still Marinette, but just when she is about to tell him something the fandom has already figured will happen. Marinette hears Emilie humming a familiar tune and her heart stops.
Tumblr media
She has heard that song before nervous and wanting to be wrong she ask Emilie about the song.
Emilie confirms what some have guessed that she sand the song to Adrien when he felt lonely and that the song is unique that she wrote it for him. Cats out of the bag a big problem has emerged for Marinette.
She could tell Adrien the truth that she gave Gabriel a chance and that Gabriel sacrificed himself for Adrien and Emilie and Natilie because he was Hawk Moth and he was dying from the Cataclysm that Adrien/Chat Noir had given him. This will delay the truth and will make life really tough and dramatic for Marinette.
Or Adrien came up with those lyrics himself and it is his own song and I'm just wrong here.

In the special, why emonette couldn't make a wish? Was it because of Supreme leader?
hello october anon, i'm very sorry for the delay i've had such a time but believe me when i say toxigriffe hasn't left my brain. i'm about to give you so much more of an answer to what you asked (but dw there will be pictures)
so it looks like whatever seal plikki have on their mouths does belong to the supreme. and it appears that even in their true forms this seal still lasts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and it's not just a block either. it seems like resisting actually hurts plikki, like a shock collar.
and then right after marinette makes the wish, the seal appears again beneath her feet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
whatever power the supreme has, it's more powerful than the wish. but what could have made the supreme so powerful to begin with? my theory is this: the supreme got a hold of the ladybug and black cat miraculous (maybe even the whole miracle box) and made a wish. we don't know what it was, but it seems that there's evidence enough to back up the inclusion of the clause that no one can supercede their wish. that's what makes them the supreme.
lets take a look at what the miracle box looks like in fu and then marinette's possesion:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and then here's the supreme's (from the intro), complete with their symbol and everything:
Tumblr media
doesn't it look like the symbol of the order of the guardians?? just with an x superimposed over it??? and since fu had the lb & bc miraculouses at the start of the series, maybe this miracle box that the supreme acquired as the guardian also had those miraculous. that's how toxigriffe ended up getting their proper miraculous in the paris special!!
i think the intro is telling us a story of what happened, actually. first, the supreme got a hold of the miracle box. next, they made a wish. (i assume it's an image of the wish, given what the wish looked like in re-creation)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the image splits into hexagons, with the one with the wish happening forming in the center. i'm guessing all those other hexagons are parallel worlds, and this world in the center is the one the supreme became the supreme of
Tumblr media
then we get an image of this person, who i assume is the supreme, given the giant x they are standing in front of - the same symbol that blocks the guardian insignia on the box and on plikki's mouths. like all the fractured worlds featured in the previous image, the supreme stands in the midst of fractured pieces of what looks like glass.
Tumblr media
maybe all the shards represent worlds the supreme has tried to take over before, but failed to. maybe they are all the worlds the supreme has conquered already. or maybe the broken mirrors are meant to parallel the supreme to poor emonette, whose misuse of her powers (under the supreme's threat of her life) have fractured her body and soul.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
but unlike emonette, the supreme doesn't have the miraculous of creation. the supreme isn't the girl who can fix anything.
SPEAKING OF WHICH, YOU WANNA KNOW WHO I THINK IT IS? (you know who i think it is!!)
to begin with, we get this sneak peek of the supreme's suit. those colors are unmistakeably purple and gray (and green but idk why that's there).
Tumblr media
who know who else would have a purple suit?
Tumblr media
YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE HAS AN X SHAPE?
Tumblr media
YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AT THE END OF RE-CREATION?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
YOU KNOW WHO CAN GRANT UNIVERSE-HOPPING POWERS??????
Tumblr media
the person with the butterfly miraculous, that's who.
maybe there's a reason the supreme wants the butterfly back so badly. the toxigriffe universe is a universe where the supreme doesn't have a complete miracle box after all. at least, it was when we left off.
but maybe s6 will change that.

LMFAO
Tumblr media
At this point, it’s like the show is trying to satirize itself for it’s lack of creativity & blatant overcommercialization.
Then I realize... no way would it be that self-aware.
Just beneath contempt.

I see there's a new post on AO3 on AI and data scraping, the contents of which I would describe as a real mixed bag, and the sheer number of comments on it is activating my self-preservation instincts too much for me to subject myself to reading through them. Instead I'm thinking about how much daylight there is between does or doesn't constitute a TOS violation and what does or doesn't violate community norms, and how AO3 finally rolled out that blocking and muting feature recently, and how I think it would be good, actually, if most people's immediate reaction to seeing a work that announces itself as being the product of generative AI was to mute the user who posted it.
That's my reaction, anyway!

S5 Prediction:
Since Chloé was 'There for' Adrien when his mother 'died.' We're going to have a flashback where she is sitting on the(empty) coffin at Emilie's funeral and scrolling Instagram while Adrien sobs in the background.

So, Chloe is now mayor of paris after her father voluntarily resigned and Chloe just said "I'm mayor now." And somehow the people of Paris are ok with this? Like where is the deputy mayor? The line of seccession? The labor laws preventing a 14 year old from being mayor? The laws preventing hostile takeovers? Because those trashcans they call a robot police force aren't gonna do shit to help her keep power.

Thoughts/predictions for Miraculous season 6 :
Re-watching some episodes of season 5 :
- in Revelation, Lila/Cerise/Iris receives all the information Nathalie has on Gabriel Agreste. While she already knew he was Monarch, she now has access to the Miraculous grimoire (possibly decoded), probably the identities of the temporary holders that were revealed to Monarch and Mayura (I'm not sure if Chloé knows as she was akumatized at the time) at the end of season 3 (Alya, Nino, Luka, Kagami, Kim, Max), and worse of all, she might very well know that Adrien is a sentibeing controlled by his parents' rings.
- She steals Tomoe Tsurugi's laptop in Revolution, granting her access to Tsurugi technology and possibly more Miraculous information (the tech Gabriel used to remodel the jewels for instance) , but I'm not sure if it will be very relevant in season 6. She uploads it to her laptop in Re-creation.
- She witnesses the confrontation between Bug Noir and Monarch, and probably saw the former turn back into Marinette.
- in Re-creation, we learn that Ladybug told Adrien that "Gabriel helped her defeat Monarch". What is not clear is whether Adrien knows that he is a sentibeing and that his parents' rings contain his amok. I would hasard a "yes he does know" as an answer because Marinette asks "you're not wearing it?" speaking of the rings. It's singular, so it might refer to "the amok" (singular) and not "the rings" plural. But it might just be a translation error, so I watched in French. It's difficult to tell if they say "le" or "la" (singular) or "les" (plural). But it seems closer to "la" (feminine singular), and it's what was written in the subtitles. However, if they were referring to the amok, it would be "le" (singular masculin). Thus "la" actually makes little sense; it probably refers to "the ring" ("la bague") or "the wedding ring" ("l'alliance"), but the fact that it's singular when there are two rings is weird. So yeah, 50/50 chance that Adrien knows from the clues given by the epilogue. (Adding interpretation of the character's actions / motivations I would say there's a higher chance he doesn't know).
The reason I'm lingering on that last point is that if Lila/Cerise/Iris knows about the rings while Adrien doesn't, that might be an important fact for the plot of season 6. She could steal them undetected pretty early on, and Adrien would be hers to play with. While Marinette, Kagami and Félix would notice the stolen rings and be aware that Adrien might be under someone's control, there's little chance they will trace it back to the "new friend" Iris, even if they suspected Lila. And if Iris asks the right questions, she might even discover that Adrien is Chat Noir and use him against the Miraculous team. And given that only Luka knows Chat Noir's identity (while not knowing about him being a sentibeing and having lost his amok), no one would suspect him (if he "spies" on them) or understand his betrayal (if he makes his "new allegiances" known).
It's a kids show so I don't know if they'll go that far (though they did a good job in season 5), but the angst potential of Adrien being a puppet, realising he can't go against orders but not understanding why, then discovering that his parents' wedding rings can control him (that he literally couldn't say no to his father, he wasn't just too weak to do so, that his father manipulated him and his mother might have too), possibly understanding that he is an artificial life, a sentimonster, (and would he understand that Félix is one too? Or, lacking context, too pained to think straight and remember previous events (episode Emotions for instance), would he think himself alone?), and finally being told that his father was Monarch, that his girlfriend who happens to be his superhero partner lied to him, as did his family - learning all of that either step by step or all at once while being forced to pretend to be fine and ordered to go against his friends, teammates, loved ones - it would be pure torture. Add to that the distress caused by his unwilling actions to those around him, and the angst potential is tremendous.
A last couple facts :
- At the end of Re-creation, Cerise is "surprised" by a light/energy. The person behind that might be a new ally of hers or an enemy.
- In Timetagger, we learn that there is a "new Hawkmoth" (new butterfly miraculous user) in the future. Timetagger is sent to the past to steal Ladybug and Chat Noir's Miraculous, but it's not clear to me if it's for the wish or to defeat them early on so they are not a threat in the future. And while it seems to me to be too reckless a plan to be Lila/Cerise/Iris's (she's smart enough to understand the butterfly effect, and that the consequences might not be the ones she anticipates - might not be positive for her), the fact that Lila is seen babysitting Chris (the future Timetagger) at the end of the episode suggests that she is the future Hawkmoth. The issue is, Timetagger is about 10 years older than Chris. It seems like a big time lapse from the season 5 final (would Lila really wait all that long to get revenge /would the Miraculous team really take so much time to take her down?), and a kids' show having adult protagonists seems counterproductive. So Lila being sent to the future by Bunnix at the end of season 5 (as the kids aren't strong enough to fight her yet) and resuming her fight against Marinette/Ladybug seems, while possible, unlikely. I would rather bet on Tomoe Tsurugi using the knowledge about Miraculous / magic she got from Gabriel and her technology to track down Lila/Cerise/Iris and possibly forming an alliance with her. Or a completely new antagonist coming into play.

Unpopular opinion here but I am looking really forward to Lila's reign as Hawkmoth, and think it has the capacity to be even more interesting than Gabe's
Ill explain why.
Lila, as we all know, is a liar. Not only a liar but a really fucking good one, to the point of fooling pretty much everyone in paris. However, we must ask what being a liar as good as lila entails to who she really is?
I mean, being able to lie her way through pretty much any situation doesnt come out of nowhere. Lila is a good liar only because she is able to read the room like no other, understand and analyse people and explore their weaknesess in a ridiculous short amount of time.
That leads to an interesting psychological analysis of her profile. Lila is what we call a dark empath, someone who uses their innate talent for cognitive empathy at the expense of others, often for personal gain. They can recognize someone’s situation without sympathizing with them.
for more on dark empaths, see
And that is exclusively what makes Lilamoth/Cerise so dangerous, much more than Gabe.
The butterfly miraculous power is based primarly on the use of empathy. The empathy of understanding a person's needs and feelings and giving them the tools to overcome then.
Unlike Gabriel, whose cognitive empathy was close to none (borderline sociopathy) who took all and every negative feeling as a tool without really digging much into it, Cerise will be able to understand better the feelings her prey act on, and manipulate them better to make potentially more powerful akumas. She will be able to recognise things that are usually burried underneath, and sometimes pass undetected at first glance. Traumas, fears, psychological damages and mental ilnesses.
Understanding them better will also make her able to control them better. Gabe often lost control of their akumas, mostly because he had his head too much in his own ass to understand what they really wanted, or what buttons to press to make then comply. That, im sure, wont be a problem for Cerise who will have every akuma under her thumb.
