Isofact

Isofact is a term like isofic (created by @gam8ligant) but for factfolk ("factkin"). This definition won't be as long (since a lot of it is addressed in isofic), but here are what it stands for:

Factfolk are who they say they are. A factfolk who says they're Josh Hutcherson is no less truthful than Josh Hutcherson saying he's Josh Hutcherson, as an example.

Factfolk and factives both deserve equal treatment. If a factfolk says they're someone, that is just as truthful and valid as a factive saying they're someone.

Factfolk claiming to be people is not impersonation or identity fraud. You cannot impersonate yourself, and you cannot be impersonating someone else if you say you aren't your ringers (other people who id as the same person). You cannot commit identity fraud if you aren't stealing people's personal information such as credit card number or social security number (which is, obviously, not okay).

Factfolk are not "promoting delusions", "anti-recovery", or "crossing boundaries" by being themselves.

Being factfolk is not voluntary, factfolk cannot control who they are any more than non-factfolk can. If people have a problem with factfolk or are made uncomfortable by factfolk of themselves, they can block and ignore them.

If a factfolk says they did/didn't do anything that any of their ringers didn't/did do, they are telling the truth because they have the authority on what they did. For example, my boyfriend Wilbur did not abuse anyone, despite his ringer being an abuser, because they have different lives and just happen to be the same base person. Both of them are still William Gold, however.

Is the astral plane stuff like- an original thing? An astrology thing? Superstition? Or something? What is it in the setting of Minecraft even? It feels like no native being would know of it anyhow.

Why introduce such a thing if Minecraft already has magic and realms in place. Maybe even afterlife if you tie it to the nether and aether. /genuine /curious

LONG TEXT AHEAD:

[[ Long story short, a friend of mine and I had the idea of making our own kind of realms. Back in 2014, Minecraft wasn't so advanced and we basically.. created some kind of religion? Not exactly that but to put it simple, we made our own version of Creation itself. We created a God and its "minions", which would be what you'd call Astral Spirits today. They would evoke the nature and its forces: Darkness, Light, Water, Ice, Magma, Fire... and so on. We gave these Astral Spirits temples where they would rest and recover their forms once a while. Afterwards, Astral Planes were created, places where people would go divided by birth. This basically meant that depending on which "tribe" you were assigned, your plane would change from one to another. Did these realms have some difference among them? It's a tricky ask... yes and no. Buuut yea...]]

TL;DR: Astral Planes and their lore were created as a need to expand the Minecraft universe and how we understood it.

If you’re reading this we’ve made it to the hiatus point! Which is…Very sad tbh :’D but what can ya do? As stated before I currently have no plans to stop the story. I do very much want to come back to it one day, but new baby comes first!! I will return to you lovely people when I am able to, but will still be lurking around on my main ( @quins-makeshift-menagerie ) if you have any questions or just wanna say hi!

hi everybody. I'd j like to say. i made this blog when I was 15 (16 at the oldest) and I am now 18. safe to say, my opinions and understanding has changed a lot since i was 15. I don't hate dazai, he's one of my fave characters bc of how complex he is. HAVING SAID THAT. I do still agree w some points I've made on this blog. I don't plan on deleting this blog as of yet (although the occasional harrassment for 15 year old me's opinion may sway my decision), but I may revamp it in the future. as of now its still here and I don't get much activity BUT if I do, I won't be engaging on this blog

Ghostbur with his service animal (Friend!!) I’m physically disabled myself, and I like playing around with possible disabilities of non-human characters and implications for them

Ghostbur can’t propel himself, floating and all, especially in the snow with no trees to kick off of, so he has Friend trained to take him where he needs to go. Sometimes they get a little confused with each other, but they get where they need to go
