Copper Changes Color - A.H
all you wanted was to stop your new kitchen from flooding. what you got was a crash course in home repair, body awareness, and what mr. hotchner looks like in a dripping dress shirt
pairings: aaron hotchner x intern!reader warnings: suggestive themes, mild accidental injury, clothing transparency, mentions of aging (el oh el), slow burn (with water damage), sexual tension but we r making it neighborly, age gap, home repair as foreplay, science girl flirts via plumbing vocabulary, ballcock failure (swear) wc: 1.9k
Water sluices through your shoes in persistent little pulses, seeping into your socks and establishing a semi-permanent colony in the crevices between your toes.
You purse your lips and pitch yourself forward, clutching at the hem of your tank like you might peel the cold from your skin if you just squeeze hard enough. It doesnt work. Of course it doesn’t.
The fabric clings tighter instead, now suctioned to your spine, a damp, vindictive second skin with a grudge. (Hydrophilic fibers. That’s why. Cotton loves water. An ironic choice, in retrospect, for someone who knows that cellulose absorbs up to 27 times its own weight.)
So now you’re mid-drip, mid-shiver, mid-existential reckoning over the catastrophic intersection between you and the American household plumbing system when the door swings open.
And there he is, framed in clean lines and afternoon light — your neighbor, your new neighbor, your prohibitively attractive, aggressively symmetrical new neighbor.
What a great impression you seem to be making judging by the look he gives you, as if trying to discern whether this is a cry for help or just your natural state of being.
You realize, belatedly, that you don’t even know which one you’d prefer him to believe.
“Hi! I — okay. This is probably the weirdest neighbor interaction you’ve had all month. Maybe all year. But my kitchen kind of exploded? Not exploded-exploded, there weren’t any flames or concussive blasts or flaming shards of sink shrapnel, just… water. A lot of it. From a valve? Under the sink? It’s called a ballcock, which sounds fake but it’s a real word, I checked. Anyway there was, like, geyser-level water pressure shooting into my ceiling and I didn’t know what else to do, so I came here. Not because I thought you could fix it, necessarily, unless you can? But mostly because I panicked. Which I don’t normally do.”
He regards you silently for a moment, his expression closed off, reminding you of a combination lock, one your brain immediately fumbles through every numeric permutation it can conjure to open it.
“I can come take a look. And call a plumber.”
He gestures for you to lead the way, falling in step behind you, or maybe beside you. It’s hard to tell. Spatial awareness takes a backseat the second his eyes dip toward the distressingly see-through state of your shirt.
He jerks his eyes away in gentlemanly fashion, burning himself on a hot stove.
Clearing his throat, he recovers, “Do you know if your water main’s outside or under the sink?”
You cross your arms, an attempted picture of casual confidence, though realistically more akin to frantic self-containment via strategically placed limbs.
You hope he doesn’t notice.
“It’s under the sink, I think. I mean sixty percent of residential shutoff valves are installed there, though some new models route to an external main, especially in cold climates, but this house predates modular plumbing standards so — yeah. Probably the sink.”
He nods once, as if you had offered a completely ordinary and appropriate response. As if normal people regularly volley niche plumbing statistics at each other in casual conversation.
Most people — regular, socially adjusted humans — would’ve blinked. Or winced a little. Or at least made that polite, closed-mouth “ah” sound that universally signals, please, for the love of god, stop talking.
But not Mr. Hotchner. (Aaron? Hotchner? You weren’t sure which name was appropriate.) He just steps into your house, either unfazed by you or polite enough to hide his confusion exceptionally well.
He crosses the kitchen in three measured strides, slacks neatly creased, white dress shirt still buttoned to the collar.
His posture practically screams executive burnout, like he spent his entire day navigating high-stakes conference calls and patiently explaining things to people he silently considered throttling.
You conclude swiftly and confidently that he must be some kind of CEO. Something complicated, lucrative, and mildly sinister. Finance, perhaps. Or no, something with a more predatory reputation. Venture capital? Private equity? Arms dealing? (Okay, not arms dealing.)
Whatever it is, you’re sure it involves quarterly earnings calls, shareholder appeasement, and an extensive collection of expensive ties.
But then again, he does live here. In this neighborhood, which is lovely, sure, all quiet and sun-dappled, all responsibly pruned hedges and tasteful porch lighting. You love it. You also could never have afforded it if the house hadn’t been, you know, inherited.
Still, it’s not exactly executive-suite-level real estate.
Unless, of course, he’s one of those hyper-rational finance-blog devotees who preach aggressive saving strategies and believe visible wealth is for amateurs. You could picture that. Actually, it fits him perfectly. Or at least, it fits perfectly with the version of him your brain is assembling based on fifteen seconds of sidewalk interaction and your wildly unused behavioral science coursework.
You haven’t exactly been studying him, per se, but certain details lodge themselves in your pattern-attuned brain. It can’t be helped.
He leaves early. Returns late, consistently solo, and displays zero evidence of a cohabiting partner. There’s no second vehicle, no conspicuous brunch plans on weekends. His grocery trips result in single-serving bags and he waters that one sad potted plant but never waves at Mindi Daugherty across the street who strategically times her daily walks past his house in distinctly flattering activewear.
He also runs every morning. You know this in the same way you know tides shift or birds migrate because he passes your porch at precisely 6:12 AM.
Same routine, same pace, same gray T-shirt darkened at the collar and clinging to upper-body definition. You’ve taken to waking up early under the noble guise of catching the sunrise before class, gaze angled vaguely toward the horizon, which just so happens to intersect with his jogging path.
But now, with him crouched at your sink, sleeves pushed past his forearms — which, by the way, are absolutely in the top percentile of forearm presentation — you confirm those jogs have a definitive purpose. Strong legs. Powerful quads capable of door-demolishing force. Not that you’ve considered that.
“Can you hand me that towel?”
You comply instantly, arm extending stiffly, acutely aware of the warmth radiating off him in slow, magnetic waves, like a space heater, or maybe a heat lamp, but one inexplicably gifted with superb genetics and bone structure.
He takes it, fingers brushing yours in an accidental collision. You would think it’s negligible by most standards, and yet your entire sensory network lights up simultaneously.
Without a word, he resumes his investigation beneath the sink, using the towel as makeshift padding for one knee.
You shift your weight, then decide proximity is crucial for educational purposes, lowering yourself onto the tile, whose damp chill promptly seeps through your leggings. Not enough to dissuade you.
“What exactly are you looking for?” you ask, voice soft so it doesn’t bounce too loud in the small kitchen.
“Fault point on the fill line. If it’s clean, it’s a seal issue. If it’s corroded, you’ll need a full replacement.”
Your lips turn to a frown.
“If it is corroded, is it something you can patch temporarily or is it full replacement only?”
He turns to respond, but his gaze slips past your eyes, dropping downward for what seems like the seventh time in ten minutes, and precisely then, his arm brushes the loosened valve with just enough force to dislodge it.
Water explodes in a vicious surge, hitting him squarely in the chest and smacking you on the cheek.
Before you can move or breathe or curse, he’s already between you and the line of fire, arm braced against the cabinet, deflecting the brunt of the stream. Water barrels into his side, soaking through his pristine shirt in seconds.
Amidst the roar of rushing spray, you hear the metallic groan, the protesting grind of something finally surrendering beneath the steady force of his hand, and at last, the deluge tapers.
He exhales and then turns to look at you, shirt molded to his pecs, sleeves dripping onto the floor.
“Sorry,” he says, voice low but not annoyed, if anything, it’s amused.
You offer him a weak smile, still blinking through droplets. “No, it’s — this is my fault. I should be the one apologizing. I mean, I’m the one who dragged you into this mess.”
He huffs a laugh, and there’s a dimple there, you realize, half-hidden beneath rain-slicked skin and a mouth pulling into something between wry and warm.
His hair drapes across his forehead, coiling slightly now that it’s wet.
You’re still smiling, you think, though hopefully in a restrained, adult, totally-not-enamored-neighbor sort of way.
He tilts his head at the pipe, then looks back at you over one shoulder.
“Yeah, you’re going to need a full replacement.” He gestures vaguely at the sad, dripping underbelly of the sink. “I can shut it off from the main for now, but it needs to be looked at professionally.”
“Right.” You nod. “I’ll just add this to my ever-expanding list of adult learning experiences.” He moves toward the shutoff as you wipe water from your eyes with the edge of your tank top. “Seriously, though, thank you. I know this isn’t exactly a neighborly favor on the usual spectrum of things.”
“This was… not the worst emergency call I’ve had,” he says, almost smiling.
You’re about to respond, standing from your spot, to ask what could possibly be worse than this, when your heel skids across the drenched floor.
Your arms flail instinctively, grabbing at the nearest available support, which, of course, is him. He moves quickly, to his credit, trying to stabilize you, but the momentum carries you both backward. You tumble gracelessly into a slippery, tangled heap.
He mostly succeeds in cushioning your fall, though the resulting thud against the floor elicits a sharp grunt from him. Your palms, meanwhile, end up planted squarely against his very wet, very muscular chest.
You freeze, trapped somewhere between outright panic and complete sensory overload. His hands rest firmly on your waist in a futile attempt to salvage the situation, but the situation is well beyond saving, you’re adhered to him, nipples peaked against a top that’s now suctioned to skin. He has to feel it. And worse, your hair is now stuck across his face, one curl draped over his temple like an attempt at decoration.
His face, you notice, is stupidly handsome this close up. You can see the exact shape of his jaw, the way his lashes cluster into tiny spikes, the faint suggestion of stubble shadowing his skin, a brow that ticks just briefly as your breath catches against his collarbone.
“You okay?”
“I’m fine!” you blurt, immediately launching into what can only be described as an anxious, full-body scramble off him. “Are you okay? Because I landed right on your — well, your thoracic region, technically, which absorbs impact better than your lower back, but still, that was a lot of force and you’re older —” You stop. “— I mean, not older, I just mean relatively speaking, like, statistically, the male spine starts to degenerate past thirty-five and — okay, I’m going to stop talking now.”
He stands with a grunt, more from effort than pain, and offers you his hand.
“You know,” he says, clasping yours as he lifts you to your feet. “I didn’t realize I was old until you mentioned it.”
Your face goes hot. “I didn’t mean you specifically, it was a general observation about musculoskeletal aging and —” You cut yourself off with a wince. “Right. Not helping.”
He exhales, a laugh almost, then glances at the kitchen. “I’ll call a plumber I know. They should be able to come out tomorrow and I can come by and oversee it, if you want.”
“Oh. Really? You’d — yeah. Thank you. That’d be great.”
He gives a nod, and for a moment, it’s just the two of you standing in a ruin of your own making. Then he opens the door. “Try to get some rest.”
And you will. Probably. Eventually.

Disappeared into Palia while my arms continue to heal. Probably could have subsisted off of what food I have in the cupboard and freezer indefinitely, except yesterday I realized I was almost out of salt.
Already being out of the molasses I was using to make sure my potassium levels stayed up, and resorting to snacking almost exclusively on hot peppers because that's what I have in the fridge, I decided it was time to do *actual* spring groceries and not just the ones I grabbed to "tide me over" at walmart...
We're under a heat warning I think, but I was up at midnight on a Monday morning and it was too perfect of timing.
I also have a sun allergy and HAVE to cover up. I also can't drink water while I am out or for an hour beforehand because I have a bladder the size of an acorn and public bathrooms give me an infection every time I use them.
Cut to me in a flannel and zip-open hoodie at the grocery store 20 minutes early trying to convince myself it's nice to be getting fresh air while sweating pure oil and waiting almost half an hour on my feet for the store to open after walking for more than that long to get there, after not having done groceries or walked anywhere more than 3 times since last fall...
I thought it would be my shoulders that got me. After all that muscle breaking down for so long.
They're sore, don't get me wrong.
But my legs and feet are unexpectedly mad at me.
At least that means my shoulders are mostly better.
I have so much apple skin in my teeth right now... which reminds me I think they are finally giving all no and low income Canadians a government dental plan so I don't have to only go through the 'emergency dental' or get fucked.
When it comes to palia I have notes:
-Please consider people with nerve and coordination issues [disability and accessibility] when determining how hard to make it to actually reel in very rare fish, and the fact that you cannot do that cooperatively [or let us trade fish and drops and have it count for the accomplishments, unicorn fish I am looking at you, got it on my line 7 times I physically cannot reel it in] IMHO the frustratingly rare fish should be easier to reel in than the common ones because loosing something you fished all day to find and knowing it's fully physically impossible to actually catch is kind of game ruining, especially when it stands in the way of progress on other stuff
-Please consider people with extreme social anxiety when considering whether to force social aspects of the game, or how necessary to make it to progress [level 20 in cooking or ask for help to make mujin bahari? level 20 cooking with your fucking cooking game? For someone disabled? Or start asking strangers for help?]
-Please make the furniture and housing more modular so things actually fit together on a grid, your housing rooms system and kitchen are a mess and nothing fits into corners or onto other corners cleanly
-A way to recycle resources out of decor you only made for the accomplishments really? Or maybe a decor trading system so people can trade off stuff they hate for more of what they want instead of the resources just being gone, that's a lot of plaium
-I do know you MUST plan to keep upgrading the trading system
-Your daisies. are. fucked. The wild ones are smaller and look fine, but the ones on the plots are so big they look fucking weird. Make them smaller. Idk if you call the daisies the ones dropped by the common cicada anyway. Longer stems maybe but just sizing up the whole model was a bad idea. They look bad. And you should feel bad.
-Your recolouring options suck and looking like cheap painted wood will always look way worse than making it look like stained wood. You have a serious lack of dark colour options. Making and decorating your house is such a HUGE part of game play, I have so many suggestions, like separate options for wood, fabric and metal on each object or changing the colour/tone of light they cast, thank you... But seriously all your recolouring options look so flat and ugly I ended up going back to the eclectic original colours, because it was genuinely such a loss in colour depth and texture it was horrendous. Jel and Tish are so sad. They are crying. In. tears.
-That heart shaped quiche needs to be a placeable object you are killing me, the gifts from characters in general need to be more placeable stuff and not consumable T~T
-Make more of the single adult characters dateable, some of us are 37 and I thought this society went hard on polyamoury anyway
-I was going to be a horrible little lesbian about this so why the fuck am I engaged to Hodari and adopting a child?????
-I am experiencing a bug where when fishing the new duck thing comes up looking like a red koi plush, and visa versa, so I thought I finally caught it and then it was replaced by this grubby duck thing? But also now every time I do catch a red koi plush it comes out of the water looking like a rubber duck until it's in my hands, I think you have the images reversed
-Also I haven't finished catching the last [utter bitch of impossible entirely] fish on the waves bundle, so how am I also losing ancient fish left and right in a way that inspires rage and tears, I shouldn't be able to get them on my line yet, is this another case of confused graphics?
-Please dear lord the fishing I am in tears they move so much faster than the circle on screen does how in the hell am I meant to catch them short of predicting the future 3 seconds at a time, even ignoring my disabilities, seriously [there's this pointy nosed eel thing that has me in TEARS it's impossible to the point of there being no point in even trying again, some of us aren't able-bodied and would still like the full game experience?]
-But speaking of, you need to allow to reverse the x axis for fishing only so I don't have to go in and out of the menu to reverse my controls every time I try to fish so I can do it AT ALL. The way it is, is fine for people who play fishing games, but idk if it's because I have actually fished before, but my brain will. not. with days of practice, let go of the idea of trying to 'pull' the fish in the direction I want it to go, instead of moving to follow the fish, I HAVE to reverse my controls to fish at all, I CANNOT force my brain to adjust, I have tried, PLEASE, just let us reverse x axis for fishing with a little check-mark in the menu.
-better in-game system for organizing parties for specific things or multiple parties wouldn't hurt, like being able to put yourself on a cross-server list for the next group bake of mujin bahari, or the next time someone wants to mass party up and honey lure maji's hollow or whatever without leaving your usual party, if you have one,
-Fix your rareness ratings, that black butterfly is less common than "uncommon" by far and was the world's worst bitch to even find. [best luck right around 2pm with or without lures, but definitely try a lure just before 2 pm in the hollow]
-I have played for a month solid and seen ONE raspberry bug in the relevant area, despite it being bright red and continued concerted searching, and it got away before I even knew what I was doing on like my first day of play and I am just in tears now looking for it, I am not sure it's visible? [I have been having graphics errors]
-Thank you for fixing the "rare and uncommon bugs disappear into the terrain and aren't reachable while you are trying to catch them" problem you were having
-Also I think fire cicadas were invisible to me until 3 days ago?? I couldn't fucking SEE them and was catching them based on sound alone and blaming my eyes, and then a few days ago these big bright yellow things started showing up? I walk out of Hodari's house and my hands are firing on something before I have a chance to process this big bright yellow bug I have never seen and then BAM! It's the star quality cicada I have been hunting for! I have 3-5 normal ones at that point but somehow had never SEEN one flying around. I think they were invisible to me or not loading graphically? Please check on that! I was looking everywhere for them and had to just walk up to trees and hit anything that make noise until it stopped twitching. Now I am concerned that's my issue with the raspberry bug? I had one of those black butterflies not show until I was standing on top of it on like 3 separate occasions, and my ancient beetles still all show as black and not gold??
-I am experiencing a bug where... And this is complex, but the flooring doesn't cover the patch behind the spiral stairs when you change it, right? granted, which drives me up the wall so I resolved to cover it with plants, follow? but I bought a blue hydrangea seed from Auni to put there, because the butterfly that drops it was so rare and impossible, only to water it to seemingly full and get no seed... So I thought, "okay if you buy them they are gmo and don't give you a seed at maturity, so you can't perpetuate them unless you catch one for real" and proceeded to use honey lures and my best judgement to get 3 more seeds from the second rarest butterfly in the game, only to find that those seeds ALSO don't make more seeds on the stairs, and in fact don't seem to in general, until I realized that under many circumstances, including being behind the stairs, that particular plant's water bar doesn't show. You can hear yourself watering it anyway though, and the 'get seed' option has a weirdly narrow window of showing up... So -unlike all the other flowers- if you plant it behind the stairs, you can't walk around it to a place where the option shows... So actually the seed I bought could be endlessly perpetuated, and I didn't have to catch any more butterflies after getting the second which was star quality... Maybe check on that hydrangea? It does at least turn dark after watering for some reason? which is kind of like an indicator it's watered, at least?? But like, I put gold bars into catching 14 of those fuckers trying to get a seed [11 showed up at once on my last lure??? I had seen ONE in my previous month of play] 14 of some stupidly rare butterfly for seed drops when I didn't have to because of a graphics bug?
-Why all shiny mantises, and ladybug plush, and moth plush, so so so so so so so fucking rare? I caught over 500 glow bugs before getting ONE glow bug plush, The lady bugs are rare to begin with and only come up when you pluck plants and only sometimes, you would think their plushie drop rate would be adjusted to compensate for that. Hundreds of blue moth, no plush T~T
-I WAS very lucky with a star quality scale and a single black pearl which is great because they are in the way of the main quests, but some players aren't getting them after hundreds of hours of game play, fix that maybe? Maybe force ONE to drop for them once that quest is active or something?
-The point of a game is to be fun, not to punish the player for their disability or for bothering to want something, this game is -mostly- usually okay about that... Until it isn't.
-Please make the flooring cover the area behind the stairs, this all could have been avoided [probably not it's such and empty space with nothing to put there and you don't have the matching window on that side for some reason] Such empty awkward space...
-Having 2 alternate ways of getting any given decor or quest item might be a good move, like having a quest or two that give star quality everything place-able or needed for other quests might be cool
-Letting players gift each other things they haven't personally had yet would help. I can't request a serving of mujin bahari or that one fish for the vault, because I have never had one before. You see the problem... Maybe if users could leave each other stuff in their mail box proactively during the house tours? Players would know they are just giving stuff away, but maybe I'd rather give away items to other players than just to NPCs, and we could reward each other for cool house tour experiences. We could have wish-lists.
-Please make it so you can hang lights from the center of the highest part of the roof in the big harvest house... I might have built an attic... But that means no wall or ceiling anything because I am above the rafters. Sadness. You gave me the building kits and told me to build and now I feel like you are telling me I wasn't supposed to do that due to the lack of decor options
-Please consider more large-ish area rugs that actually make sense with your room sizes [about half the size of the big kilima carpet] You know, the kind of area rug people would "anchor" room sections around, you have a billion little mats, some runners, and one MASSIVE dining hall worthy rug but no normal area rugs? The closest is that big green dragon one and it's a little on the small side to anchor a room around. The front legs of furniture should all at least be able to go on the rug with appropriate walking space around the coffee table, for instance. Tish is sad. You make Tish sad. Talk to an actual designer. Have the home design girlies and gays play-test your stuff
-Please consider making the runners 90 degree angles on the ends so they can be tiled down a section instead of having a weird gap where the rugs meet [kilima inn runner]
-Please, again, let me redesign your colour options for the furniture customization and consider clashing light temperatures more, I cannot get over the fucking light temperature clashes or the bloody cheap painted furniture look. Those design kits are SO expensive when you have to buy 2-5 to colour every object
-Let us wallpaper or tint, or both, the "builder's" stone blocks and wood building options, yeah you can build whole buildings with them but then it's all that one wood or stone colour
-Let us tint the garden stones [when I say tint, I mean 'do not let it look like opaque paint, let it look like a tasteful tint that shows the texture and grain through it like it was dyed and not painted PLEASE] [ie make mosaics with the round tiles or tint the log pavers purple to look like elderwood]
-Displaying a dully coloured pixel is just as much processing for a computer as displaying a richly coloured one, the better looking the game, the more engaging for the player, there is no downside, please fix the colour options
-If I made placeable fish and bugs, and hear me out on this, the only options would not be tanks, you could also place a tiny statue of one somewhere and have a swarm of that thing show on your property, especially in and around ponds, ie" property pond shows the type of fish you caught swimming in it visibly [maybe with a chest style storage to put them into without the statue showing for like up to 20 types of fish? One of each in the game up to whatever their computer can handle? 20 at a time randomly selected from that storage?] or like placing your little butterfly decoration or flower and the things flutter around that area [not catch-able, but you can see them], like being able to add blue or pink fireflies to your garden or pond, yeah? Pink fireflies in your bedroom at a more reasonable size [for the girls and the gays or very secure men], or an option to perch one in specific places like the firefly in Tamala's plant? The tanks are a cool trophy but you could do a lot more with it for a game that centers so much focus around building and designing your home. Imagine the butterfly rooms people could make out of those conservatories if you could place the bugs outside of tanks [like a wall or floor decor item of it perched]. Imagine the possibility of a pond full of fish or a larger aquarium you can place your fish into where they don't look so trapped and alone [think fishing and tank mods in modded Raft]
-I personally am satisfied looking like a gay man, but a gender neutral body option might be cool? Prosthetics to represent disabilities maybe?
-Dedicated. log. storage. ...I come home with hundreds of logs at a time for processing into decor stuff, or hundreds of stone, but mostly it's the logs, and suddenly have no storage at all until I process them all. I don't need more storage for keeping a couple of everything else or ingredients for cooking and the unlimited decor storage is great, but you have a system that calls for hundreds of logs and lumber, a stack of even a thousand of each sometimes because you did a tree cutting haul to make some stuff, and then there's just no room for it... Dedicated log and lumber storage that's separate fro the rest and isn't just leaving it in the hopper. That or decrease the wood needed for everything and the wood you get from trees and need to process. I think it would be easier to just have dedicated log storage. It could look like coloured log piles like that one existing graphic you have [builder's line I think] but tinted to each type of wood. You could be allowed up to one for each type of wood. It could be cool. Stone piles. It takes 10 stone to process into one pane of glass and 2 glass for every bulb, so every bulb you want to make requires holding onto a processing 20 stones... And that's ignoring a liberal use of the builder's stone and wood slabs. Having that eat up your other storage when you insist on limiting storage just seems broken. It's in indexed list with pretty 2d graphics, there doesn't really need to be a strict limit. You have already proven that with the unlimited decor storage. No actual space is being taken up.
-Please just give me log and stone storage. You should be able to hold on to a few of every object in the game in case a character or 2-3 or quest wants it and it was hard or grindy to get at all, and still not be out of storage space to work with. And THIS IS IMPORTANT, the dedicated log and stone storage should be IN ADDITION to the existing limit on placing storage containers. Make it part of the crafter limit you can pay to expand if you MUST
-Why am I up to paying 20k to be able to place another preserves jar? Why no cap on the cost increase the more you buy the same thing? Why are my hallway sections costing more than a large house now? Please, that's too grindy and too punishing for building
... So yeah, my dishes are done, my laundry and groceries are done and this game is keeping me occupied while I heal at least.
Also been watching Murderbot and wow the irony of not being able to binge watch a show about a character who likes to binge-watch shows, and having the stupid episodes only be a half hour. I watch shows years after their release when they are no longer relevant and have 3-14 seasons I can swallow at once. What is this?
Arms hurty, legs so hurty, but I got carbs, and fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, my electrolytes, etc... 3 cartons of eggs whites... The big ones. I have chicken legs and solid beef and bacon. I had to say no to every canned or processed or ground meet in the store and any and all cheese or dairy... Yogurt my beloved. No ceasar dressing.
I did get one frozen cake because that didn't ruin me last time, and as this improves I can have a little yogurt or something again here and there. I just need to not have cream or milk daily or eat that many egg yolks... But I am still in the phase where I have to let a hormone with a 3-4 month lifetime run its course... For like, another month at least still...
And I have had impressively few headaches and migraines for someone in my condition who's been doing nothing but playing games and falling unconscious... It rained the other day and I slept 20 hours and woke up with my face numb.
How did I vanish over this game? I saw Evan and Katelyn fucking MENTION a game that looked similar to Stardew valley but with graphics I could actually enjoy [Witness-esque] and heard the word FREE... And stopped the video there to go try it...
Moots, it's FREE on steam T~T
#personal update#palia#palia game#bugs#review#sort of#make mujin bahari with me please fzkmdzsfmkl#how do you catch the hard fish??? Just be abled???#personal update also#sorry to just shove the two together or whatever

Albums of 2024
no particular order, but this is what I have been enjoying.... I have vertigo from the glut of music, but at the same time, the freedom from any sense that anyone could possibly ever be definitive in their choices any more is a wonderful thing in its way.
Mystery Tiime – Maudlin Tales of Grief and Love
Utter misery in kitchen sink post-punk pop form from Ayman Rostom aka The Maghreban. This one will really get under your skin. My review.
Isabell Gustafsson-Ny – Rosenhagtorn
Beatifully sparse and wonky abstract folk-classical micro-album that feels very real and very raw. My review...
T. Williams – Raves of Future Past
Absolutely faultless collection of bangers, which as the title suggests, go round the houses exploring UK bass genres. Comes with comic and action figure too!

NikNak – Ireti
She wanted to make a soundtrack to a "Black Blade Runner" and by god she did it! Real thrill ride of an album. She was on BMTatR in June...
MOMO – Gira
I'd never come across this now London-based Brazilian guy before but the algorithm flung "Pára" my way, I got completely addicted, then I discovered the video which radiates subtropical heat, then the album and it's been on rotation since. Total pleasure principle stuff.

Gagarin – Komorebi
Yes another BMTatR subject, and yes we tragically lost Graham this year: he did the pics and interview knowing he was dying, but like the interview his last album is a model of stoicism and how to take joy in the moment despite the worst happening.
Amanda Whiting – The Liminality of Her
Can't remember how I stumbled on this Welsh jazz harpist, but her music is the epitome of soft music for hard times. Very lovely indeed.

Meemo Comma – Decimation of I
A bleak ambient concept album about Russian retro-scifi, alien infiltration and planetary consciousness? Aw hell yes, and it's Lara Rix-Martin's best yet. Here she is on BMTatR...
Susanna – Meditations on Love
Another artist growing into themselves year by year, with a fantastically strange set of torch songs. I reviewed it here.
Trendafilka – For the Olives
Definitely wasn't expecting to be bowled over by a Balkan choir from New Orleans but there it is!
Xylitol – Anemones
Cosmic retro jungle with some garage and footworking twists? It all feels familiar but Catherine Backhouse does it with such commitment and panache it just fizzles with life.
Nia Archives – Silence Is Loud
It's jungle, it's hardcore, it's indie, it's PROPER POP, and it's glorious. My review here.
A Taut Line – Restoration
Like a set of haunting short stories or painted vignettes in techno and abstract post-dubstep form, Brit in Tokyo Matt Lyne made his best work yet here.
Rosie Lowe – Lover, Other
Very much more soft music for hard times, but super innovative and stimulating with it, a gorgeous neo-trip hop exploration that I reviewed here.
J Mascis – What Do We Do Now?
Mascis is just an elemental force isn't he? All these years later and he still touches the soul, seemingly effortlessly. My review here...
Deep Fade – Further
PROPER FUCKING DARK, this. Noisy, bleak, scary goth-industrial-ambient from Amanda Votta and her merry crew - she also made the more abstract/ambient Impermanence this year which is just as dark and good.
Nala Sinephro – Endlessness
More jazz harp! This time blended with modular synth bloops. Album number two, and a significant step up for Sinephro, a total balm for the soul through and through...

Hifi Sean & David McAlmont – Daylight
Of course Sean and David were early BMTatR subjects - and their mature and prolific working relationship continues to fascinate. This is how you do an ALBUM album: the mood accumulates and accumulates then the last two tracks are just a dynamite payoff. And bloody hell they've got a follow-up ready just six months later...
Ka – The Thief Next to Jesus
SHAME on me only discovering Ka following his untimely death, but the Brooklyn rapper is just world class - and his 11th album grapples with religion and society in really complex but completely gripping ways.
Alley Cat – The Widow Project
Like I said in my review: "If the names Pinch, Vex’d, Burial, Digital Mystikz, The Bug mean anything to you, stop reading now and buy or stream this album. Seriously, go. Go get it."
Jowee Omicil – SpirituaL HeaLinG : Bwa KayiMan FreedoM Suite
An absolutely wild spontaneous Haitian revolutionary free jazz ritual. Find out about its genesis in my interview.
Becky Hill – Believe Me Now?
Like the Nia Archives album, this is second generation rave pop made by someone who has the culture in their bones, and it's full of undeniable joyous adrenaline rushes and banger upon banger upon banger. My review here.
Doechii – Alligator Bites Never Heal
Showing that there is still room for the old fashioned "did you see??" moment where it seems like everyone is suddenly talking about an artist at once, Doechii absolutely killed it last month with the one-two punch of her Late Show performance and Tiny Desk concert. A megastar in the making, hopefully.
Heavee – Unleash
Chicago's footworking music continues to mature and grow and this super-rich take on it is up there with the very best.
Juls – Peace & Love
Superstar Afrobeats producer broadening his palette and really getting celebratory with a cast of thousands, proper good-times music. I talked about it with him here.
WHY? – The Well I Fell Into
Grandiose grown up radio pop and soft rock somehow perfectly blended into the quirky indietronica and psychedelic hip hop of Yoni Wolf's roots, amazing stuff. My review.
Jeff Mills – The Trip: Enter the Black Hole
This man's work rate is insane. He made TWO great solo albums this year - the more post-classical / minimalist The Eye Witness (which I reviewed here), and this denser, more electronic intense beast of a sci-fi mind-movie. It is indeed a trip.
Manga St Hilaire & MoreNight – Everything is Under Control
It hasn't been a vintage year for grime albums - though shouts to C4, Jammz and a heavyweight 28-track Polish extravaganza from Miły ATZ - but this album is absolutely world class, Manga showing just how grown up the genre can be, and the production from MoreNight giving it a consistency and great dancefloor undercurrent.
Kayla Painter – Fractures
I've consistently enjoyed the Bristolian's strange and spooky electronics, and I am a sucker for solar system exploration, so I was always going to love this tbh.
The Jesus and Mary Chain – Glasgow Eyes
Absolutely boggling the Reid bros are not just surviving but innovating wildly so many years on. My review.
seo – §eo
I am a massive fanboy for Lagos's Eseomo Mayaki - a genuine eccentric in a world of could-be-AI conformity. This and the two volumes of ASSMIX 5000 EP continued her endlessly prolific creative streak. Meet her in this profile I did for the WIRE.
Ganavya – Daughter of a Temple
Bassist, poet, mystic etc etc etc Ganavya gathered 30 musicians together for a RITUAL, partially in tribute to John and Alice Coltrane and their universal visions and oh wow...
Andreas Werliin, Johan Berthling, and Oren Ambarchi – Ghosted II
You can't go wrong with Ambarchi, and just as on the first Ghosted these are some truly outstanding percussiony, geometrical jazz hypno-jams
Jaz Karis – Safe Flight
She's previously collabbed with Katy B and she's on the Juls album above duetting with Ghetts so you know JK is going to be great right? This is UK soul in rude health, in particular benefiting from a dose of amapiano influence which I discussed here...
LL COOL J – The Force
Oh HELL yes you can call it a comeback. And hell yes it is as good as everyone says - both Q Tip's giddily inventive production and LL's flows that outclass all the top ranking guests. My review.
μ-Ziq – Grush
Definitely a good year for Planet Mu with the Meemo Comma, Xylitol and this - label boss Mike Paradinas on absolutely top whimsical, melodic, grooving form.
Jeremy Sylvester – Underground Hero Album
BANGERS BANGERS BANGERS - a good parallel for the T Williams album in getting to the very bone marrow of UK underground sound, and doing it with relentless rave energy. Thanks so much to Chris and Hue of Skill Issue for flagging this up as I had missed it!

Five Green Moons – Moon 1
There's definitely a running theme in these albums of artists maturing - and certainly this album of digital dub / 80s dancehall done in a spooky creatures of the English hedgerows stylee is up there with Justin Robertson's very best work. He was on BMTatR too, and we got fantastically abstract.
Ryuichi Sakamoto – Opus
A painful listen this - literally: you can hear Sakamoto's laboured breathing as he plays piano on this posthumously-released album - but a beautiful one. I wrote about his enduring relationship with the instrument here.
Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft
She may not get the hype that Taylor / Charli / Chappell do in 2024, but artistically Billie E consistently leaves them all in the shade. To have a pop star this big, and this subtly - but intensely - subversive, and also making deep and lush music, is a great thing.

James Hardway - El Camino Duro
Yes we did HIM for BMTatR too - and there's more to come because he's got such an insane wealth of stories. But Harrow NEVER rests on his laurels - this was just one of an album every month in 2024 to mark him turning 60. Some were space dub, some were ambient, but all were great and this jazz, breaks and bass one is a masterpiece.
The Cure – Songs of a Lost World
Given that the last time they were this good they were my favourite band in the world, and I was 16 and full of raging hormones and sad dreams, this return to form hit really hard. My review.
Underworld – Strawberry Hotel
Another band maturing brilliantly, this feels like they're really enjoying just being themselves: just like the lovely sleeve art, it is full of colour and interest in the living detail of things.
Arooj Aftab – Night Reign
More soft music for hard times, more jazz harp, and a whole lot of - as AA describes them - "sad, sexy songs". Music for staring out of windows to, in the best possible way.
Beth Gibbons - Lives Outgrown
Beautifully sung of course, but this album is really about texture and arrangement, it's one to sink deep into and float away...

Udaan by InAmigos Foundation: Elevating Women, Empowering Futures

In the rapidly evolving socio-economic landscape of India, millions of women remain underserved by mainstream development efforts—not due to a lack of talent, but a lack of access. In response, Project Udaan, a flagship initiative by the InAmigos Foundation, emerges not merely as a program, but as a model of scalable women's empowerment.
Udaan—meaning “flight” in Hindi—represents the aspirations of rural and semi-urban women striving to break free from intergenerational limitations. By engineering opportunity and integrating sustainable socio-technical models, Udaan transforms potential into productivity and promise into progress.
Mission: Creating the Blueprint for Women’s Self-Reliance
At its core, Project Udaan seeks to:
Empower women with industry-aligned, income-generating skills
Foster micro-entrepreneurship rooted in local demand and resources
Facilitate financial and digital inclusion
Strengthen leadership, health, and rights-based awareness
Embed resilience through holistic community engagement
Each intervention is data-informed, impact-monitored, and custom-built for long-term sustainability—a hallmark of InAmigos Foundation’s field-tested grassroots methodology.
A Multi-Layered Model for Empowerment

Project Udaan is built upon a structured architecture that integrates training, enterprise, and technology to ensure sustainable outcomes. This model moves beyond skill development into livelihood generation and measurable socio-economic change.
1. Skill Development Infrastructure
The first layer of Udaan is a robust skill development framework that delivers localized, employment-focused education. Training modules are modular, scalable, and aligned with the socio-economic profiles of the target communities.
Core domains include:
Digital Literacy: Basic computing, mobile internet use, app navigation, and digital payment systems
Tailoring and Textile Production: Pattern making, machine stitching, finishing techniques, and indigenous craft techniques
Food Processing and Packaging: Pickle-making, spice grinding, home-based snack units, sustainable packaging
Salon and Beauty Skills: Basic grooming, hygiene standards, customer interaction, and hygiene protocols
Financial Literacy and Budgeting: Saving schemes, credit access, banking interfaces, micro-investments
Communication and Self-Presentation: Workplace confidence, customer handling, local language fluency
2. Microenterprise Enablement and Livelihood Incubation
To ensure that learning transitions into economic self-reliance, Udaan incorporates a post-training enterprise enablement process. It identifies local market demand and builds backward linkages to equip women to launch sustainable businesses.
The support ecosystem includes:
Access to seed capital via self-help group (SHG) networks, microfinance partners, and NGO grants
Distribution of startup kits such as sewing machines, kitchen equipment, or salon tools
Digital onboarding support for online marketplaces such as Amazon Saheli, Flipkart Samarth, and Meesho
Offline retail support through tie-ups with local haats, trade exhibitions, and cooperative stores
Licensing and certification where applicable for food safety or textile quality standards
3. Tech-Driven Monitoring and Impact Tracking
Transparency and precision are fundamental to Udaan’s growth. InAmigos Foundation employs its in-house Tech4Change platform to manage operations, monitor performance, and scale the intervention scientifically.
The platform allows:
Real-time monitoring of attendance, skill mastery, and certification via QR codes and mobile tracking
Impact evaluation using household income change, asset ownership, and healthcare uptake metrics
GIS-based mapping of intervention zones and visualization of under-reached areas
Predictive modeling through AI to identify at-risk participants and suggest personalized intervention strategies
Human-Centered, Community-Rooted
Empowerment is not merely a process of economic inclusion—it is a cultural and psychological shift. Project Udaan incorporates gender-sensitive design and community-first outreach to create lasting change.
Key interventions include:
Strengthening of SHG structures and women-led federations to serve as peer mentors
Family sensitization programs targeting male allies—fathers, husbands, brothers—to reduce resistance and build trust
Legal and rights-based awareness campaigns focused on menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, domestic violence laws, and maternal care
Measured Impact and Proven Scalability
Project Udaan has consistently delivered quantifiable outcomes at the grassroots level. As of the latest cycle:
Over 900 women have completed intensive training programs across 60 villages and 4 districts
Nearly 70 percent of participating women reported an average income increase of 30 to 60 percent within 9 months of program completion
420+ micro-enterprises have been launched, 180 of which are now self-sustaining and generating employment for others
More than 5,000 indirect beneficiaries—including children, elderly dependents, and second-generation SHG members—have experienced improved access to nutrition, education, and mobility
Over 20 institutional partnerships and corporate CSR collaborations have supported infrastructure, curriculum design, and digital enablement.
Partnership Opportunities: Driving Collective Impact
The InAmigos Foundation invites corporations, philanthropic institutions, and ecosystem enablers to co-create impact through structured partnerships.
Opportunities include:
Funding the establishment of skill hubs in high-need regions
Supporting enterprise starter kits and training batches through CSR allocations
Mentoring women entrepreneurs via employee volunteering and capacity-building workshops
Co-hosting exhibitions, market linkages, and rural entrepreneurship fairs
Enabling long-term research and impact analytics for policy influence
These partnerships offer direct ESG alignment, brand elevation, and access to inclusive value chains while contributing to a model that demonstrably works.
What Makes Project Udaan Unique?

Unlike one-size-fits-all skilling programs, Project Udaan is rooted in real-world constraints and community aspirations. It succeeds because it combines:
Skill training aligned with current and emerging market demand
Income-first design that integrates microenterprise creation and financial access
Localized community ownership that ensures sustainability and adoption
Tech-enabled operations that ensure transparency and iterative learning
Holistic empowerment encompassing economic, social, and psychological dimensions
By balancing professional training with emotional transformation and economic opportunity, Udaan represents a new blueprint for inclusive growth.
From Promise to Power
Project Udaan, driven by the InAmigos Foundation, proves that when equipped with tools, trust, and training, rural and semi-urban women are capable of becoming not just contributors, but catalysts for socio-economic renewal.
They don’t merely escape poverty—they design their own systems of progress. They don’t just participate—they lead.
Each sewing machine, digital training module, or microloan is not a transaction—it is a declaration of possibility.
This is not charity. This is infrastructure. This is equity, by design.
Udaan is not just a program. It is a platform for a new India.

🍽️ Service Model Evolution: On-Premise vs. Off-Premise Catering
Off-Premise Catering Leads Market Penetration (64.9% Share in 2023)
The Netherlands' preference for off-premise catering is reshaping operational models, as flexibility and logistical efficiency become top priorities. This segment benefits from:
Increased event-based catering, especially weddings, conferences, and private parties.
Corporate clients seeking on-site setup without kitchen infrastructure.
Growing demand for mobile catering units and food trucks.
On-Premise Catering Still Relevant in Institutions
While smaller in share, on-premise catering remains vital within educational institutions, corporate cafeterias, and healthcare facilities where daily food provision is required.

Smart kitchen appliances, automated inventory systems, and integrated logistics platforms allow providers to scale rapidly while maintaining quality and compliance.
Sustainability is No Longer Optional
Environmental impact is now a deciding factor in client decisions. Caterers that offer carbon-neutral deliveries, zero-waste packaging, and locally sourced ingredients enjoy a competitive edge. Institutional buyers, particularly in healthcare and government, prioritize vendors that meet or exceed sustainability benchmarks.
Market Competition: Focused Strategy and Consolidation
The netherlands catering services market is defined by a few dominant players who are pursuing aggressive strategies in acquisition, partnership, and innovation. Larger companies are expanding through vertical integration, venue collaborations, and digital transformation.

What Are the Costs of Hiring an Interior Designer in Hyderabad?
When planning to revamp or decorate a home in Hyderabad, hiring an interior designer can add value, style, and functionality to your space. But a common question that comes up for most homeowners is: What are the costs involved in hiring an interior designer?
The expenses vary widely, depending on factors such as the designer's experience, the project scope, materials used, and design complexity. Here, we’ll break down the factors influencing interior designer costs in Hyderabad and provide insights into budgeting effectively.

Uncovering the Hidden Costs of Hiring an Interior Designer in Hyderabad
1. Understanding the Fee Structure
Modern interior designers in Hyderabad typically charge in three main ways:
Percentage of the Project Cost: This model is popular for larger projects. Designers charge a percentage (usually between 8% and 15%) of the total project cost.
Fixed Fees: For smaller or more straightforward projects, some designers offer a fixed rate, which may range from ₹50,000 to ₹2,50,000 depending on the project scope.
Per Square Foot: Many designers charge based on the area, ranging from ₹75 to ₹400 per square foot, making it a popular option for clients who want clear cost estimations upfront.
2. Factors Affecting Interior Design Costs in Hyderabad
a. Scope and Size of the Project
The more extensive the project, the higher the cost. Full home makeovers cost significantly more than single-room revamps. The scope can range from basic decorating to complete renovations, including structural changes.
b. Designer’s Expertise and Experience
Interior designers with notable experience or specialization in a particular style (modern, minimalist, traditional, etc.) may charge more. Seasoned designers can demand fees up to twice as much as those new to the industry.
c. Material and Finish Quality
The choice of materials directly impacts the cost. Premium materials like Italian marble, solid wood, and imported fixtures come at a premium price. Opting for budget-friendly yet durable materials can keep costs lower without compromising on design quality.
d. Customization and Detailing
Custom-designed furniture and intricate detailing can increase costs. Bespoke solutions, such as customized storage or unique furnishings, require more time, resources, and labor, leading to a rise in expenses.
e. Project Timeline
Fast-tracked projects often require more resources and labor, which can raise costs. If you’re working on a strict timeline, discuss the implications on the budget with your designer in advance.
3. Average Cost Breakdown for Different Spaces
To give a better idea, here is an approximate breakdown of average costs for various spaces in a home.
a. Living Room Design Costs
A basic living room setup may start at around ₹1,00,000 for simple furniture, wallpaper, lighting, and decor. For a high-end, luxurious setup with customized elements, costs can reach up to ₹5,00,000.
b. Bedroom Design Costs
Bedrooms are relatively less expensive compared to living rooms, with basic setups costing between ₹80,000 to ₹3,00,000. Adding custom wardrobes, headboards, or imported decor can elevate the cost to ₹5,00,000 or more.
c. Kitchen Design Costs

Waverider Interactive 3D Model
Project ✤ Creating the Waverider from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
Devlog 6 - Now that the initial modular kit is done, I tried my hand at greyboxing the Bridge, kitchen and dining room. Twas pretty fun.
Above is the kit so far, I did some tweaks after testing out how it fits together in maya, and some UVing so that the shaders don't go crazy in Unreal. I also made sure to export it all with the pivot at the world origin.
I explored two ways of modelling in Unreal. I chose to model in Unreal for ease of testing :
Brush Editing :
Simple brushes/shapes - additive and subtractive ways to model (basically an modifiable boolean).
Great for walls and doorways - options to make into static mesh/dynamic mesh (dynamic mesh will not add to content browser)
Not so great for props.
Modelling Mode :
Basically like every 3D modelling programme out there but a bit more clunky.
Works well with props.
Collision is already made with the mesh.
Reflection
A lot of other challenges arose - but it was largely fixed with tweaking.
I've gotten faster at using the brush/modelling tools and can discern which to use for certain areas.
There's a bunch of small details that I've noticed since greyboxing.
It is very fun to finally walk around.

Price: [price_with_discount] (as of [price_update_date] - Details) [ad_1] Product Description The stainless steel saucer rack is the perfect solution for organizing your dishes. Stainless Steel Saucer Rack 20 Inch: The Ultimate Kitchen Organization Solution Perfect for Modular Kitchens When we talk about modular kitchens, the stainless steel saucer rack fits perfectly within kitchen inserts. It's designed to maximize space while ensuring functionality. It keeps your saucers upright, meaning you’ll avoid any chips or cracks from stacking them precariously. Plus, its polished finish adds a sleek touch to your kitchen. A Closer Look at Kitchen Inserts and Tandem Baskets Kitchen inserts are the heart of modular kitchen design. They let you optimize your space and keep everything in its place. A tandem basket is another helpful tool that, paired with a saucer rack, can create an efficient storage system. These baskets pull out smoothly, allowing easy access to your dishes while saving time and energy. Saucer Rack for Your Kitchen Stainless steel saucer rack Modular kitchen accessories Kitchen saucer rack 20 inch Tandem basket storage Kitchen organization rack Durable dish rack Stainless steel kitchen insert Saucer holder for kitchen Quality of the Rack Look for high-quality stainless steel. It should be rust-resistant and sturdy enough to handle heavy dishes. Cheaply made racks may bend or tarnish over time, but a good-quality stainless steel rack will last for years. Size Matters Before purchasing a stainless steel saucer rack, measure the available space in your kitchen. Most saucer racks, like the 20-inch model, are designed to fit standard kitchen cabinets, but you’ll want to ensure the perfect fit. Number of Saucers How many saucers do you typically use? If you entertain often or have a large family, opt for a larger rack. The 20-inch rack can hold a decent number of dishes, but always consider your needs before buying. Stainless Steel Saucer Rack vs. Other Materials Plastic: Cheaper but not as durable. Over time, plastic can warp, and it’s not great for holding heavier plates.Wood: Aesthetically pleasing but prone to mold and damage when exposed to moisture.Stainless Steel: The best of both worlds—stylish, durable, and resistant to moisture and heat.
Key Benefits of a Stainless Steel Saucer Rack Durability and Longevity A stainless steel saucer rack isn’t just about looks—it’s about strength. Stainless steel is incredibly durable and long-lasting, making it a smart investment. It doesn’t rust, stain, or lose its shine over time, even in humid kitchen environments. Space-Saving Design In a world where modular kitchens are becoming more popular, the design of your kitchen accessories can make or break your space. This rack is sleek and compact, ensuring that every inch of your cabinet or tandem basket is used wisely. Easy to Clean Let’s face it—kitchen accessories get dirty fast. Fortunately, a stainless steel saucer rack is easy to clean. Just wipe it down with a damp cloth, and you’re done. No special cleaning products required! Perfect for Modular Kitchens When we talk about modular kitchens, the stainless steel saucer rack fits perfectly within kitchen inserts. It's designed to maximize space while ensuring functionality. It keeps your saucers upright, meaning you’ll avoid any chips or cracks from stacking them precariously. Plus, its polished finish adds a sleek touch to your kitchen. STRONG AND DURABLE: Made from stainless steel with an anti-rust and anti-corrosive nickel-chrome plated surface provides an efficient, robust holder for your plates, chopping boards, pan lids, or baking trays in a vertical, easy-access way. ORGANIZE YOUR CABINETS: Keep your cabinets orderly by securing dishes, plates, saucers, bakeware, pots, pans, and lids in the organizer. The cookware and dish rack will keep items neat within the cabinet or on the countertop, and the rungs separate the items to make it easy to grab the skillet or lid that you need without disrupting the stack. SMART DESIGN: This organizer is designed to fit the majority of kitchen cupboards and kitchen drawers to boost and organize your space. Each slot is spacious enough to fit a few items together including nested baking trays. STYLISH ORGANIZATION: 16 vertical rungs to create 15 storage spaces for your kitchen dishes. Sleek, geometric designs and modern finishes add a stylish touch to your kitchen organization system. Extend your kitchen decor to your cabinets or display your decorative cutlery on the countertop for a unique touch. VERTICAL STORAGE: Use vertical storage space to save cabinet space. Put the organizer on the short end to stack pans, pans, lids, muffin tins, cake pans, cookie sheets, and more. Easy access to the food you need, make dinner, or make a cookie without having to move stacks of baking paper or pans. SPACE SAVER: The plate holder can be free-standing on the countertop as well as fixed in a kitchen drawer, just place this dish rack in your cabinet, cupboard, countertop, tight corners, and pantry to keep your kitchen organized and efficient. MULTI-FUNCTION: Metal plate rack is not only organizer plates, dishes, but also storage bowls, pot lids, cutting board. And it also is as a small dish drying rack, even a mini bookshelf, CD holder. KITCHEN DRAWER ORGANIZER: This Plate rack and saucer rack is used in a modular kitchen tandem basket for storage plates, dishes, and saucers. No installation is required, just put it in the basket and use it. You can easily remove it for cleaning. EASY CARE: To clean, wipe down with damp a cloth and towel dry.
