In Please Save My Earth, young Shion beats up another kid for teasing him but what does his father figure do? Give him kisses?! Sorry, Shion needs discipline or juvie. No wonder he grew up to be the story’s “bad boy.” Weak democratic parenting from the United Nations’ child convention. (Please Save My Earth was written directly for UN global propaganda I’m sure, just like Captain Planet.)

Is this the ideal romance advertised by the story’s pretty art? Are these the characters people use to justify Shadow x Maria (Shadaria)? After all, Shadow and Maria were inspired by Shion and Mokuren, according to Sonic Adventure 2 writer Shiro Maekawa.

Ugh… a dysfunctional relationship. How about less romantic love and more common sense?
