bright moon (and by extension, culturally angelic) specific terms of endearment often include the word my + one of four nouns (star, sun, moon, sky) and an attached adjective or verb. these terms are interchangeable between relationship types and, rather than being strictly familial, platonic, or romantic, are used to show strong adoration that transcends any specific parameters. they are very special. one singular angelic being will not call more than 3 or 4 people in their centuries long lives by this kind of name.

for example, angella calls glimmer my starlight. other examples could include my moonrunner, my sunheart, my skyfarer. you get the format. they’re meant to be customizable so that they are all the more personal.

the reason the names are formatted in this way is because communication between angelic peoples was largely done by either letter writing or sky writing (using things like stars as lettering). when addressing the receiver, it became commonplace to use these names rather than a given birth name to show a closeness while apart.

y'all ever realize that the four fallen all have cool titles except uraza?

briggan: packleader, pathfinder, moonrunner

jhi: healthbringer, peacefinder

essix: deepseer

none for uraza tho :( and it makes me realize that unlike the other three, who each have unique capabilities they're known for (briggan has prophecy, jhi has healing and essix has perceptiveness), uraza has... nothing. what a horrible time to be alive

if they had just followed up with abeke's role as a rain dancer it would have been perfect. uraza with weather-related powers? yes. uraza splitting the skies in her anger and grief, bringing prosperity from the rain but devastation from the storm? her roar mingling with the thunder? yes. uraza being destined to bond with a rain dancer because in her heart, in her soul, she is one with the rain? utter. perfection.

so for the titles she sadly never got, any ideas for ones that could tie in with her weather-related capabilities? so far i have:

stormbringer/stormwalker/stormcaller

rainbringer/raingiver

lifegiver/lifetaker (depending on where you go lol)

skybreaker

and spellbreaker (as in a dry spell). i think that one's my favourite.

I almost got all The Dukes of Hazzard I got Christmas Cars the only ones that I still have to get are Moonrunners a Movie that the Show was based on and The Hanna-Barbera Cartoon Series The Dukes but I think it cost a lot just like the original

And then, after going through a LOT of pretty suffering storylines, we finally get a proper space story in Blue Beetle. Issues 13-16 are actually an amusing storyline, even if we ARE running around with a smuggler, Moonrunner, working for the Reach who looks kinda like Groot. (Yes he exuded Han Solo vibes from the very first panel)

Of course only for the book to be cancelled.

The Adventures of Astrid Ganymede

Story and characters by me and Miri is the artist.

It is nearing completion, and we want to tell everyone about it!

It's a "seen but not heard" style comic that follows Astrid through a wormhole, and her quest to find her way home.
