something to be said i think about the parallels between jackie and pete being able to reunite after years and years of being alone after their spouse died in their respective worlds, and then rose being separated from the doctor for good. the repeated insistence up to that point that That Jackie is not His Jackie, but that he gets a happy ending with her anyway, and the repeated insistence that rose will never leave the doctor, but shes forced to anyway......
