Was writing down ideas and stuff of what it’d be like if I shipped Clyde with spooky month characters other than bob and now I’m rotating Clyde x Skiddad in my mind like a rotisserie chicken

I’m a very big fan of toxic relationships in my fiction, if that wasn’t apparent by my many posts about toxic yaoi and many toxic oc relationships, and this one is just plain awful. Like it would literally just be Skiddad taking advantage of Clyde’s blind worship and idolization/love to make him do whatever he wants, and if Clyde started defying or questioning him some manipulation a few sweet words and a tender touch or two would have him right back around his finger. It would get to the point Clyde can’t even function without Skiddad telling him what to do and when he dies Clyde just. doesn’t know how to exist on his own anymore.

I might make this the canon origin of Clyde getting involved with the cult and his early years in it (in the oc centric version of the story with no bob self shipping), I’ve had a few vague ideas but nothing set in stone but I think this would be perfect and explain why Clyde is still so devoted down the line when he has nothing left
