honestly my first thought for 17 (vid with a strong visual parallel or motif) is @eternalgirlscout's Saint Bernard which makes such good use of scenes that repeat in that show and the Ritsu and Mob parallels....the cut between the s1 scene in the alley and the s3 scene on the bridge!!! good shit

but since I'm pretty confident you've see that one recently I will also add When Am I Gonna Lose You by sweetestdrain for 20 (strong thesis statement) bc it has such a clear and succinct point to make about Wei Wuxian's character and how he relates to the people he cares about and why! it's beautifully put together and it hurts me <3

Shou Suzuki would be Red! Aside from the obvious (with his hair color) 2012 is when MP100 and the original Red were released, so the early 2010s vibes are absolutely there! I also think he's into rock and more headbanging, louder songs, and I think this album has a lot of songs that fit into that like the title track and I Knew You Were Trouble and State of Grace. It's got some angst to it too, which I think would suit him and his energy!

Still, nothing. He was definitely worried now. As much as Ritsu may dislike him, he was still always polite and wouldn’t just blatantly ignore him like this. Maybe he was sick or something? Arataka craned his neck, scanning him for possible injuries.

And that’s when he noticed the blood.

“Holy crap! Ritsu, you’re bleeding!” he exclaimed, fumbling out of his seat and running to him. It looked even worse up close. Blood coated both his hands like a second skin, and speaking of skin, his looked pretty torn up.

No response.

Now that he was closer, Arataka could hear his very quiet, almost sporadic breathing. Shoot. Something was really wrong.
