Announcing my favorite vehicle at this year’s @motorpressguild #MPGtrackday: the @BMWusa X3 M40i. I’ve driven plenty of fast SUVs on the racetrack in my day, but I’ve never driven one that genuinely felt like a car. $54,300 is cheap considering you’re getting a sports car and family hauler in one package. This 355-horsepower streak of lightning was able to hit about 130 mph on the front straight of @willow_springs_raceway, which was about the same as a certain 707-hp SUV. Wow, #BMW. I’m impressed. Today I️ say goodbye to the @Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 Redline Edition. After more than 1,000 miles, I’m going to miss this one. It hauled #ProjectStork up to Vegas and back without breaking a sweat, and its 420 horsepower engine never ceased to make me giggle. I’m not a truck guy, but this one has made me reevaluate my assessment of that truckin’ life. Goodbye, girl.
