The shellfish Selfish au has consumed my every waking thought, it’s so tragic so I want to add some more angst but also comfort.

What if after Stan killed Filbrick he had to stay with Dipper, Mabel and Ford. What if he couldn’t handle their judging, their questions and their half hearted attempts to do better( without Mabel or Dipper addressing any of their own issues it comes off as condescending) and he runs away into the forest.

And gets unwillingly halfway adopted by the multi- bear while trying to get out of the rain.

I imagine that Mabel, Dipper and Ford would feel horrible. Not just because of how they treated Stanley in the past but how he must have felt so unsafe that he ran away. And also panicking because the woods are dangerous, and Stan could already be dead.

Meanwhile Stan and the Multi- Bear are just chilling, listening to Babba and eating berries in a cave while Stan definitely isn’t avoiding his problems. Nope he’s totally fine. Besides it would be selfish to tell his family about his problem’s or have them deal with his issues so it would be better if he just disappeared forever.

Bonus points if Dipper [and the others] never met the Multibear. They only heard stories of an angry violent beast and  found some evidence that he took Stan and killed him.

I kind of want the Multibear to be Stans therapist 🤔

Maybe Stan only ever comes home at night and spends everyday in the forest with the Multibear and getting some well needed therapy.

Hmm that makes me wonder what Dipper would be like without his lessons in manliness? 

A boy growing up in the 50~60ies who is at some point obsessed with being manly and strong and terrified of being seen as too girly, especially since his sister constantly forces him to do girly stuff with her. It’s just another thing for the other kids to make fun of him for and for the adults to look at him disapprovingly.

Maybe he had a whole little character arc that ends with Dipper being like “then I guess I will never be a man”. 

But instead of an adult reassuring him with a “You were your own man and you stood up for yourself. You did what was right, even though no one agreed with you. Sounds pretty manly to me.” he gets a “Don’t be such a sissy, boy!”

That would probably mess him up a bit.

Or it would be fun if there was a group of creatures in Gravity Falls who looked at Dipper at some point and decided to keep far away from him. 

“Egh, that guy. Hey, Kyle! Can you put a barrier up for me as well? Don’t want that jerk snooping around my cave!”

The Multibear is, of course, part of the anti-Dipper faction. And when he ~kidnaps~ semi-nonconsensually adopts Stan, so do the others. Stan feels safe with them. They’re all nonhuman and weird. He’s got no bad associations with that and he decides to stay with them.

[Not like his family wanted him to be around. They were perfectly happy when he was gone and now they were forced to take care of him. He’s doing them a favour.]

When Mabel, Ford and Dipper get close to discovering where Stan is hiding it’s time for war!

The creatures of the Forest are ready to protect one of their own with their lives and the Pines are ready to save Stan even if it kills them. 

While that is going on outside, the Multibear is having a really productive therapy session with Stan.

Gravity Falls Headcanons

Warning, contains drinking and spoilers for the entire show, so bewarb!

The twins have a YouTube channel.

The Pines goes fishing on the Stan-o-war.

Stan, Fidds and Ford are Bisexual.

Mabel, Wendy and Pacifica are Pansexual.

Dipper and Wendy are Trans, while Tracey is Asexual and Quattro is Aro-ace.

Stan sometimes drinks when he's working on the portal but he stops when he heard that the kids were coming to stay with him for the summer.

Mabel introduced Stan to fanfiction, he made a bunch of fics about The Duchess Approves even though they are not age-appropriate but Soos likes them to show his support.

The Pines family, Soos and Fiddleford are Autistic.

Ford does some yoga and meditation.

Soos and Melody temporarily owns the Stanmobile.

Fiddleford got a makeover, thanks to Pacifica and Tate.

Soos and Stan spend Father's day together.

While helping Stan with his memory problem, Ford doesn't wanna talk about Filbrick, knowing that it felt trigging talking about the bad memories with him involved.

Soos hosts Karaoke night as the Mystery Shack.

Ford made a special back brace for Fidds.

Though Stan is the better cook, Ford is kinda bad at cooking but does practice and gets better from time to time, especially at baking.

Dipper helps Mabel via tutoring, but Stan or Ford does help them with homework from time to time.

After reconciling with his dad, Tate and Fiddleford would go fishing or do a jam session.

Stan give the kids boxing lessons and give them a old speed bag to practice on, Dipper mostly uses it just to remove stress, of course Stan is proud to see the kid hold his own.

Ford helps Mabel with her new sweaters design and models for her or add new concoctions to her Mabel juice.

Dipper and the Multibear are fans of Sabrina Carpenter and would sing some of her songs during Karaoke night.

Sometimes Stan visits the farm where Compy lives to check on him and plans to break him out.

Even though they still celebrate Hanukkah, the Pines family also celebrate Christmas.

The stan twins loved The Wizard of Oz, but haven't heard of Wicked until Mabel had the gang watch it for movie night.

Ford teared up because the film reminded him of a lot of their childhood and how much he relate to both Glinda and Elphaba.

Stan does too but tries to brush it off and said the film was fine until Soos caught him humming to popular the next day.

Even though he's does have some resentment towards Ford, Tate respects his dad's choice of giving Ford a chance.

The kids made a list of old and new shows to watch for the stan twins.

Stan can speak fluent spanish and brazilian while Ford can speak french, japanese and many other languages.

Stan and Dipper have their own guys night, even inviting Ford, Fiddleford and Soos to join if they have the time.

Mabel, Pacifica and Soos are huge Chappell Roan fans.

Stan can play the ukulele while Ford can play the pan flute.

Ford had a crush on Fiddleford since college but after he got married, he eventually moved on until he called him about making the portal.

After weirdmageddon, Ford confessed his love for him, he was shocked but felt the same way back.

Ford and Fiddleford text or video chat a lot, talking about the discoveries they made.

Even though he finds it a bit irritating, Stan is happy and is very supportive to his brother, even if his taste is somewhat questionable.

The kids received packages from both the stan twins and the residents of Gravity Falls, leading up to the day they come back.

Soos got Fiddleford in a lot of anime and the two watch a bunch of classic or new anime together.

Ford gave Dipper his very own journal to record his own adventures.

After coming across them in the woods, Fiddleford pretty much adopted the Dipper clones and have them live in his mansion.

Stan does cuts his hair sometimes, but likes keep it longer or have it as a ponytale.

Ford still has the green shorts from college.

Dipper and Soos got Ford and Fiddleford invested in Pokémon.

Ford and Fiddleford would go hiking or make robots together as some form of a date.

The stan twins reconnect with Shermie, As expected he was pissed for not telling him about everything that happen but happy to see them again

Instead of destroying them, Ford gave the journals to Fidds, hiding them where only he could find them.

Somewhere in the stars, there was a place they once called home. And somewhere in these woods, they’d make a new one all their own. 

Got commissioned to do a promo for Somewhere in the Stars, the prologue of New UF (I didn't do one originally because when I wrote the prologue, I hadn't decided to do promos for every chapter yet). Gotta say it was fun to go back and round them all out though with this one!

Chapter 9 - The homecoming

Dizzy from the blow and the blood loss, Ford's vision swam in and out of focus. As it sharpened once again, he recognized they were in the middle of a large clearing, and that the moonlight could actually break through here and offer better illumination.

However as Stan let out a horrified gasp while looking at the trees in front of them, he soon wished for the darkness back.

Coming out from between the trees, walking in a horrible lurching manner, stood the disfigured shape of what once was the Multibear.

Gone was the smart and gentle glint of his eyes, for all of them seemed to have been plucked clean. Decaying and rotten in places, with two of its heads completely missing and spewing some sort of foul smelling black bile from the remaining ones. A deep gash bisected his chest,which was curved in strangely, leaving some bones and muscle exposed.

The beast bellowed and approached the Pines menacingly.

“Holy shit, Holy shit! What is that thing?” Said Stan in a panic, raising his gun and taking aim, shooting it center mass, and once again doing nothing to stop it.

Another Gravity Falls theory!

Today I was reading Dipper and Mabel's Guide to Mystery and Nonstop Fun!

Dipper mentions that the Octopossum (a possum with eight heads) might be a result of the toxic sludge running off the Northwest Mudflap factory. But that got me thinking:

Okay so a had Canon that I have is that after the Manotaur episode dipper becomes best friends with the multibear but I want to give the multibear an actual name because as far as I remember he doesn't have one I could be wrong though

I need an AU where Jason writes Gravity Falls fanfiction, except it's a crossover and he writes about 'this strange little town he visited once and has weird ass history'.

A lot, though not all, of his fics of Gravity Falls are crack treated seriously because Gravity Falls is just Like That and writing about people marrying woodpeckers would never not be fun.

Sometimes he likes to write supernatural mysteries or supernatural slice of life or drama. He has a fic about the multibear's life (based on a story the bear told him once) that is written like him resembling his life while waiting for someone to show up/something to happen, and no one knows what's that. It's his most popular fic, which he still doesn't know what to think about.

The multibear loves it tho. He comments every single chapter.
