*Bas would enjoy seeing the group interact and yet at the same time it stung. It did remind him that there had been others in the facility with them but the plan could only work with the two brothers so they had left them behind.*

"So I guess the next part would be to show you to the main reception area. Of course, we could leave it for another day."

"Yeah, I thought it would be the right thing to do."

*Then when he was asked why he joined a mixture of gratitude and sadness were all over Basilio's features.*

"I suppose we looked up to him and I guess Lord Louis saw potential in us so we were soon brought to work for 'im. A warrior, now maybe but back then not a chance. Del and I had just barely managed to run from the facility that was doing the experiments, I think I said something about tha' when we first met and I wasn't doing so well...

I figure Del must have tried to get help but not a lot of people would, after all they would have seen us as lesser...but Lady Rella healed us both up. After tha' we tried getting jobs but tha' didn't last too long so we joined the army. Funny thing was that was when we met Lord Louis, although he hadn't been a general at that point but he was getting up there.

I can't be too sure wha' his reasons were but he talked to us without looking down on us and when he told us about what kind of a world he wanted to create we could see it. So that's how it happened.

Trust me, sounds weird to about anyone now but there was a time Del was taller than me. The experiments kind of made me shoot up and 'im stop altogether."

*It had been a year since Basilio and his recently formed brigade had come together to serve the king even if most if not all of the members were former members of Louis's retinue. It was still hard for him to adjust to such a life if he was being honest.

That said the Paripus was off duty at the moment and out of curiosity and a bit of nostalgia entered the Montario opera house not to mention a way to get out of the cold. The venue wasn't so bad that the Sanctist propaganda was slowly being phased out.

As such the male would go and watch a play to pass the time. A new one caught his eye and so Basilio took a seat in the middle to not stand out in the crowd.*

*While he was good at cooking Basilio couldn't sing a tune to save his life, well that was an exaggeration but he knew he couldn't do it as well as Fidelio.*

"You've gotten us outta all those other messes so it won't change now. You gotta admit though it is something we might never be able to ever pull off again."

*Bas was more confirming it to himself than anything else, besides he knew Fidelio would not act unless they had a foolproof plan in place. However it was going to be one of the more intricate missions they had undertaken.*

"Yeah, you're right."

*Just hearing Fidelio say that made Basilio that much more confident in this plan of their's. The two of them were pretty much unstoppable when they worked together after all. However there was still a small voice of fear in his head. He didn't want to lose Fidelio again and should something happen he wasn't sure if he could hold himself back again.*

*Bas had been watching for a while but hadn't said a thing as the male didn't want to disturb him should it be important. However it was a while and he was concerned for his friend.*

*After a few minutes Basilio came back with a grin, he had managed to do it. They got three days, not a lot but that was better than nothing so he told her the good news.*

"I did it, we got three days to get everything. I wanted more but...if I pushed it I think they wouldn't like it so I left it at three. If you want we can leave right away or start in the morning."

While there were plenty of well known games and silly tricks, unfortunately, the healer didn't take the game of 'playing dead' very well. Her worry kicked in far before any playful assumptions would.

"Wh- Bas? Bas??" She'd say in a panic, hurrying over to the younger brother's side. There were several reasons why it'd be terrible if something happened to him, so she needed to figure it out- whatever it could be- quickly.

*Basilio really did, after all he still missed his brother even with his new-found friends around. While it was nice, it didn't replace the loss he felt at losing the only family he had.*

"I wanna make papa somethin' fer Father's Day . . . an' I know he's keen on your cookin', so will you 'elp me please???" He felt like a meal would at least be a good place to start.

"Of course, I don't mind at all."

*Bas was going to make something for Del anyway as while they were brothers Fidelio looked after him like a parent most times. So this would have been sort of a thank you for that. The grey furred Paripus would smile since now it could be from the both of them.*

Louis: What does fuck shit up mean? Is it good, is it bad, was it code? I'm unfamiliar and it frightens me, not that I can admit such a thing aloud. For now though I will need someone to inform me about this new manner of speaking.

Zorba: Ah Lord Louis is looking as glorious today as ever. However that new arrival bothers me...there's something about him that makes him a threat that must be eliminated.

Basilio: I wonder why Lord Louis is making such a serious face for? Did something happen? I guess me 'n' Del will probably be given something to do soon.

*Was Basilio confused, yes he was and was he sure he had been asleep not too long ago...also yes. However for some strange reason the Paripus did not view the Clemar before him as an enemy so that must mean something right?

One thing he knew for sure was though was that the place was filled with books so the person before him was probably a scholar or something. Not many people could afford that many books in Euchronia.*

More trails off as he looks upon his newest visitor with muted surprise. In truth, it doesn't show on his face, but he's much more shocked than he lets on. He recognizes them, of course, but for this person to show up in Akademeia at all, much less at a time like this...

"A lot of them really...not many of 'em were bad. Just folks who opposed him...Depends, I mean if I were to disobey it might mean Del would be punished yeah? So I probably would try and talk it with him first and then save them."
